2 pieces of regular white bread with some mashed avocado and some not so fresh salad leafs on top, charges over $20. Awful! We have to go somewhere else to have a second lunch due to the small size of the food.

No one at counter at checking, had to wait 20 minutes to see 1 staff come downstairs, despite that there was someone sitting in an office behind glass. Room small for 2 people with 2 big luggage, shower is wonderful no shower cap FYI but all else in room great, comfy bed too. Dinner had choice and taste great. Breakfast cold and No complimentary coffee. Wtf..I been all over the world and no where have we ever had to buy a coffee to go with breakfast. Come on what does it cost you to have a percolating machine.?

2 of us dined. We had the 1kg mussel pot for entree which was soooo good. We both had The 300g Sirloin steak meal for main, which was superb. Cooked Medium rare to perfection. Very generous serving of vegetables. Highly recommend The Albany Restaurant & Bar.

First time here for a meal. Extensive menu, good drinks selection - pour a really good Guinness.
We had the Mussels as an entree - superb.
The group all had a different main, all good. Too full for desert.
A place to definitely come back to
Nice place. Didn't try the food but great selection of beer and a nice outdoor are for the summer months.

Beautiful and comfortable cafe that has a lot of space. I had the eggs bene with salmon and it was delicious! The presentation was pretty too.
The coffee was very good, it wasn’t bitter or sour.
The staff did not greet and ignored my greetings but we all have those days I guess.

Everything was good - service 5 ⭐️

Overall 4 star because no starters really if you want to have some with beers 🍺 or a drink

Mostly focussed on main course and side dishes

Good food, great staff. Little rough and sometimes gang members but the place manages to keep the peace. Real mans bar and has topless nights for meat raffles. Not a bad place at all.

Booked for an intimate wedding lunch. Gave very clear verbal and written instructions to the duty manager Ashish. Also made an $800 deposit. On arrival our guests were getting charged for drinks in our absence which was extremely embarrassing! Staff denied being given any instructions from the manager. This set the tone for our entire dinning experience where mistakes continued to happen. Missed or delayed orders. We had to ask for the tables to be cleaned as dirty dishes were building up. Definitely a lack of common sense throughout. Alcohol drinks were terrible and food was average. The staff are definitely not experienced to run functions, even small ones of 15 people.
I definitely wont use the restaurant again, nor would I recommend.
Had a superb experience here during our stay in Ramada! The ambiance was welcoming, with modern decor and great layout. The service was exceptional, thanks to the manager who personally ensured our dining experience was flawless.

Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a memorable meal! 😋 Plus, the music is awesome too!

Went here in the afternoon on new years day. It was a little quite which is not good for business but it made for a nice relaxing experience.I ordered a big breakfast and it was huge and tasty. My wife ordered the chicken and mushroom risotto which again she said was beautiful and we shared a bowl of wedges which were top notch. All the food was amazing and the staff we friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back.
Not the greatest start to celebrating my disabled brothers 56th Birthday breakfast however it is what it is. Even after calling ahead and booking a few days ahead asking all the Disability questions around drop off, accessibility and set up for wheelchair patrons we were assured. Unfortunately upon arrival (10mins before 8am booking) nothing was ready. We had to block road entry to safely offload him from his van to access through front door. Something I’ll take up with Ramada to understand how our Tangata Whaikaha, Tagata Sa’ilimalo guests can safely come to dine at this restaurant. Food well presented tasty & value for money unfortunately by this point after experiencing such poor service from Usher I was not in any mood to eat anything therefore observed the other 4 Guests reactions to their kai. Can’t fault the Caramel Latte Coffee & Bacon Benedict Meal ordered off the menu, served in good timing and delicious. Staff may need some training on how to communicate and best help patrons with disabilities & their whanau.

Great service and food was good. Prefer my burger on a plate than board and to be given the choice of sauce. But generous and staff attentive. Music a bit loud for dining but only 2 of us there.

Yum yum yum! the food here is sooo good! we got the rose fried chicken, raw beef bibimbap and the corn cheese and they were all the best. The flavours are so nice and everything just works so well together. Although it’s a little pricy i’d say that it’s totally worth it especially for sharing so that u can try a bit of each dish. The atmosphere is nice and has a kind of wooden theme. the service is also really speedy and friendly! overall super great dining experience would totally recommend.

We have never been here before, but we ordered tonight for delivery. The food arrived on schedule and was very nice. Our family ordered the meat platter, steak & eggs, nachos, and chicken nuggets & chips.
My son did complain that the chips in his nachos were a bit soggy, but that would be due to having it delivered.
We really enjoyed the meat platter, which says it is suitable for 3-5 people. We think it would definitely be closer to 3 people unless you had other things to eat or were small/light eaters. The ribs were voted the best item in the platter.
Chicken nuggets & chips were pretty standard, and the steak & eggs were delicious. We were watching Kitchen Nightmares while eating our dinner, so we were potentially more likely to be critical of what we were eating - but it was delicious, and we were very pleased with it.

Simya is one of the many Korean restaurants in the area. This one has a small section of off-street parking in front of the restaurant. There are also other places in the area so parking could get quite busy and full. The restaurant does look a bit small but it has a fair number of tables.
The menu has a large selection of Korean dishes. We grabbed the mixed boneless chicken, beef bulgogi soup, butter cheese corn and the spicy pork and octopus. The bulgogi and the pork and octopus were cooked at the table. All the dishes were really tasty. It was a nice place to sit, chat and eat since it didn't get too noisy.

Highly recommend👍The atmosphere is great, and the spicy stir-fried pork and octopus is sooo authentic and tasty😋My husband and I watched an episode of 거침없이하이킥 while enjoying the meal. I would no longer have to admire the characters in the episodes🤣as I’m tasting delicious Korean food too.

Gets busy so best to book.

Cosey vibe liked the layout of the place. Some unique options on the share menu from what I’ve seen way other Korean restaurants which is what drew me to it. Got the pork belly and baby octopus between two people to share. Was tasty and well made, only con is the portion is on the smaller side and not as much meat compared to veges and rice cake in the mix but I guess that’s the norm these days. Corn butter was tasty, and as was the rice ball though I’ve had better-shoutout to Kaya in cbd when they were open! On the lookout for more rice balls.
Sides were a bit of a let down, not the usual number nor the quantity and side dishes are one of the best things about Korean food imo! Overall good try out in the shore, there are so many Korean places to choose from though, usually more than one in every corner so much more to try than to repeat.

Came here on Tuesday Rib night. Staff was accommodating and gave us a well lit spot! We got the ribs (of course), Margherita pizza, mussel pot, special beef curry and kids nuggets and pizza. Servings were generous and the fries were a highlight at the table! Coconut curry sauce for the mussels was a bit bland. Overall a great place to come for a family din! Thank you!

Service was good however as an example... the prawns was not cleaned and gutted so then I took a bite of the prawn after I removed the head and shells I felt the crunch of sea shells and then I noticed the guts was still there. Price for experience/offering is not in line. Not happy with food quality sadly. I believe with just a few tweaks things can be improved.
I had high expectations after looking at photos of the food on Google and the cafe didn’t disappoint. It is a lovely relaxing environment to have brunch and the coffee tasted lovely. I was very pleased that the Chicken Eggs Benedict came was roast chicken instead of fried and the hollandaise sauce was delicious. The whole experience was fantastic and I will definitely be back soon!
Good mix of retail, commercial and hospitality venues all with the convenience of easy parking. I highly rate the local real estate office Ray White as well as the CJ’s seafood. Blacksmiths is also a top notch spot for a drink and a pizza, while the coffee club serve up decent brews and ‘third place’ hospitality.
An expanding shopping hub in the growing Takanini area. There is a variety of shops and eateries in the Centre plus now our own little library! Absolutely love the expanding and diversifying of the area. While there are still some shops unoccupied at the moment, it is a great little spot with everything you could need.

Parking is always a challenge on weekends. Even if you look at the parking slots, it seems bit smaller. Though it has some good joints for food and shopping.
Nice little village if you prefer the quietness. Parking can get a bit crowded. Other than that, it's within walking distance of Bruce Pullman and the mains (Great South Road)

Would love to get in contact with the complex owner in regard to my car getting hit in this car park & the person fleeing. The number provided by the warehouse staff and on here just leads me to Vodafone. I was told you have clear CCTV, not keen on parking here in the future if not 😬

A nice little place to shop I mostly go here for The Warehouse but there are also some yum bites to grab such as Sushi & Don & LJs. Also having the Blacksmiths there to swing by and have a little midday drink is very handy!

The carpark can get a little hectic too from time to time so its good to think fast because some people are a bit inpatient.
There was not a lot of customer service there no CSR to been seen but I know the store inside out and knew what I wanted and we're to find it so it was a quick easy in and out no fuss no drama and the store was particularly clean and tidy 👍. The checkout girl was friendly and meet and greet was friendly.
Nice place for Shopping in Takanini.
It has medical centre
Clinic
Path lab
Eating places
Cafe
And much more

Nice little shopping centre within walking distance from Takanin Newly build suburbs
