Just want to give a shout out to Vince in the framing department. I needed professional help transferring a new National Park art poster into an existing custom made frame that I had as part of a set of 12 frames. Normally, I would try to handle something like this on my own but since the previous piece of artwork that was in the frame had been professionally installed and the back of the frame had been professionally papered and wired for hanging, I wanted the new piece of artwork installed and finished the same way, therefore I wanted a professional to do this for me. I expected to have to leave my project at the store and retrieve it in a few days. Vince said it was a quick, easy task and that he had a few minutes and could take care of it right away. Within 5 minutes, he cleaned the glass in the frame, inserted the new artwork, put fresh backing paper on the frame to professionally finish the framing, and rewired it for hanging! The entire time he was friendly and casually chatted with me from his workroom while he went about his business. I couldn’t be more please with the quality of his work, the expediency of it, and his friendly “can do” nature. Thanks, Vince! Next time I have custom framing needs this is where I will return! (Please note, depending on how busy the framing department is with new and existing projects, you should expect to leave your project with them for a few days. I just got lucky and hit it on a day where my quick project could be handled while I waited, instead of having to leave as I was expecting I would have to do.)

Placed a balloon order 4 days in advance for a pickup time on 4/27 between 12 & 12:30. I arrived at 1:30 and when I gave my name and pick up time I was told “yeah, that’s not gonna happen”. While I was waiting, another customer was awaiting for their missing & delayed order, too. Customer service is HORRIBLE and the store is essentially ran by children. I love the store but staffing and management needs to change.

Always get coupons at Michael's store and lots of great stuff to buy. Thank you.

After popping into Target, I came into this store to purchase some candle wicks. I didn’t spend as much time as I normally do, looking at everything and once I found the item I wanted in the back, made my way to check-out. There was one employee in the check-out area who kept staring at me but didn’t say anything so I asked if their self-checkout was running since she didn’t indicate that she would be checking me out or anything. Nothing. I go pass her to use self-checkout. She stood by me as I purchased my ONE item and stared me down. I ignored it and left because I really wanted to complete my candle project. Maybe I was overly sensitive after my experience at Target but if you are gonna stare me down while I check-out, why not just check me out? Since I had items in my cart from Target and I’m darker than a saltine cracker, I made sure to keep my ONE purchase in my hand so I wouldn’t receive this kind of treatment. I couldn’t shake the feeling of my experience and returned a few moments later to return the item to the employee who could have checked me out. She was all smiles checking out another person when it was my turn at the counter. This confirmed that her demeanor had only been towards me and I had been right to feel the ick. Her eyes indicated she remembered me.

There is a way to do things discreetly but if you were really worried about me stealing, maybe check me out next time or don’t have self-checkout. How creative can someone get with candle wicks at $3.99, really? I wanted to support the craft store versus buying my craft project items from Walmart or online but after my experience, I’m not stepping foot in this building.

In all my years walking through the aisles of Michael’s, I have never experienced anything like this. My goal with this posting is to help others not experience what I did (leaving in tears) and spend their money where it is actually wanted and appreciated.

Cheryl & the framing team did a fantastic job on framing 3 autographed jerseys (2 football & a basketball) & even helped with my customization requests including adding some cards & stitching them in! She even recommended some clearance materials to help keep the cost down! There was no rush but I kinda wanted them before the Super Bowl & she delivered! She definitely underpromised & Overdelivered! Will definitely see Cheryl & the team for All my framing needs in the future & highly recommend!!

Rolene had amazing customer service. I was looking for marbles and she searched the back room for me. Very kind and very helpful!

Trash, everything was in disarray, nothing was in stock. Walls were bear, staff was...no words. Seasonal items didn't ring up on sale. Horrible. only good thing was the cashier he was helpful.

The store canceled my order (dozen balloons) even though all items were in stock online. Order was needed over 24 hours after it was placed. The items were not listed as having limited stock. After I received a cancellation email (no texts even though I elected to receive text messages about my order status…) went back to the site to verify whether the items were out of stock and was able to re-add them to my shopping cart and it clearly shows that they were available to order same day.
This is not the first time this happened at this location. Last year I placed an order and I received a notification that it was ready for pick-up. When I arrived, they told me they didn’t receive an order for that name. Then found the balloons still in the packaging. I waited about 30 minutes for an order that I was told was ready to be picked up. I don’t recommend this location. They can’t be bothered. Your employees are causing your company to lose money with their indifference. Stick with the Mandarin Party City location.

Management: Please don’t just say you’re sorry and that you’ll ’share this with your team’. Figure out how you may or may not be contributing to the issues surrounding employees’ poor customer service, and the general lack of critical thinking skills required for working in retail. Without these, you are going to continue losing customers.

This , Michaels has a very extensive selection of craft products as you might expect. The choices are, however, almost overwhelming, If you are not knowledgeable, because, unfortunately, there were only two staffers: one at the register and one in the framing department, and that's it. A store this big Should have at least two or three more so I bought a lot less than I had hoped to get because I just couldn't get any guidance

Today was our oldest son’s birthday. I needed to have a few balloons purchased. I called this Dollar General and spoke with one of the nicest cashiers that I’ve ever had contact with, Tammy. Tammy Had trust in me and Bill to report and even notice me when I first walked in the store without me even having to recite the order. I felt at home in the dollar tree. Thank you Tammy for making this day rememberable and phenomenal for our family. You have ethics and morals and it was an honor to do business with you and your store. Thank you for being you.

Omg the people who were working this store on 9/9/23 around 1-2pm looked like drug addicts. Seriously manager, be careful who you hire bc it certainly affects people wanting to shop there.

The craft section at Dollar Tree is like a portal to a DIY wonderland. It's as if they caught Pinterest and crammed it into an aisle. And oh, their Halloween decor! If your idea of spooky is a glittery skull wearing a feather boa, you're in for a treat. You'll find witches, ghouls, and more sequins than a disco ball on Halloween night. 👻✨

But hold your pumpkin-spiced lattes, because the real superstar here is their ginger snap cookies. These cookies are so good, you'll start believing in reincarnation just to come back as a cookie in your next life.

Just remember, you're not cheap – you're creatively cost-effective! 💸🎨

I usually love this store but I did not realize they had a NO RETURN policy. When checking out I thought the bill was too high so I asked the cashier if there were any items on the order that rang up over the $1.25, she said no. I thought it was too much but decided to look at the receipt. I got to my car and reviewed my order and sure enough, the top 2 items on my receipt rang up at $5. I went back in immediately with the 2 items and the manager refused to return them. He said the only thing he could do was hold the cashier responsible for the items. I want to say that she may not have been able to see all the items on her screen. I left but will say beware! This has not been the policy of the store in the past and if their employees make a mistake, they should do the honorable thing. The cashier was the only one open and instead of helping her by getting on a register himself, he just let the line get all the way to the back of the store. I'm sure she felt she had to keep the line moving.

Loved customer artist helping me with paint tube selection. No pressure shopping in store. Wonderful place. Just wish they had 3x5 foot canvas I could buy for my sister in Sterling, Va. so she can paint! Here's what I can do with Michael's art supplies.

The manager name Tammy is so mean. She told me that she’s out of helium for the balloons but there’s another employee who overheard the conversation came to help me, so they have the helium but the manager just so busy on the phone and want to go home at 9:20 pm while they’re close at 10:00 pm and her attitude is not friendly at all she shouldn’t be at customer service. Feel bad for the girl who help me get balloons. I hope she will not get in the trouble because her manager was looking at her while she help me like going to eat her.

Team member / cashier Keisha is the real deal. Just moved to area! Keisha line is always the quickest and most friendliest. She shows great respect and assistance to seniors. Always a smile and professional attitude. I share this for it’s a blessing to be on line with 8 people in front of you and you “hear customers” say this line moves quick and great attitude by cashier. Hands down team member / cashier Keisha will be a manger. Keisha could give lessons on work ethic and respect. God Bless way to go Ms Keisha

I love this location. They have a lot of options for girls and boys for birthday decorations. I was hoping to see a greater variety of costumes for Halloween, but I'm sure I'm saying this because I did not find the specific costume that I was looking for. The employees are friendly and helpful, and that's the icing on my 5 star Rating. I will include a few pictures from inside so everyone can have an idea of selections and prices.

This is by far the best dollar tree I’ve ever been to. It’s so organize. I have never in my life seen a dollar tree like this. I wish I knew the young ladies name whom I interacted with. She was so pleasant and sweet. This store was also very cool when entering. Only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars it’s a bit empty not much on the shelves like other dollar trees. But it did have the gel bead mask I’ve been on a hunt for. Couldn’t find one in any other dollar tree.

Store was messy and layout was not very good. Not a fan of this store.

Michael's is like the Walmart of craft stores. I really didn't expect to spend that much but it's worth it especially with the coupons and sales. My mind goes on a crafting creative binge and I have to peel myself out of the store. There has NEVER been a moment that the staff lacks the knowledge of the location of a product. This Michael's is my happy place.

Omg. Michaels added fabric by the yard to this store and a bunch of sewing notions. Thread. Quilting cutting rulers and mats. Bobbins. Great quilting pins. I have their app so I got 20% off a quilting frame for hand quilting. So glad to not have to go all the way to town center. Some of the same stuff is at walmart on beach...but not nearly this selection.
