I usually never post reviews, but I am so impressed by the Claremont Medical Centre that I had to share the feedback. I was with another GP for years before moving to area and always struggled with appointments, prescriptions or good customer service. I never had these issues with Claremont Medical Centre. Appointments are very easy to request online and I never had to wait longer than a day to receive a response and appointment. When I needed an urgent appointment, I was provided with one on the same day. Receptionists are very polite and helpful and GP’s are great, they listen and help. I would highly recommend Claremont Medical Centre to everyone. Amazing service.

Claremont was recommended as the GP surgery to go to for patients with multiple health and mobility issues.
Without being gushing, I’m glad I took up that recommendation.
The GP spent time on the first consultation, the receptionists are very reassuring and understanding, the surgery is nice and welcoming (and not chaotic/shouty).
Patients with mobility and health issues often face obstacles just when going for routine procedures; unfortunately people often assume we’re being precious, obstructive and even that we’re not helping ourselves.
It’s very upsetting and frustrating for us when we’re sighed at because of the problems we have. A GP receptionist should never bring a patient to tears.
Staff at Claremont have an understanding of patients with mobility issues and it's already taken a weight off my mind. Thank you and please don't change :)

All the people at Raleigh, Claremont and Rolle are great. However, all their well intentioned efforts are negated by system inadequacy. For the seventh month and succession I have had a problem ordering a repeat prescription. Furthermore, “system online close “is a nonsense. It invites you to select a function only to tell you that function is not available!

Our family has been with them for a long time. It was a great place when we joined 9-10 years ago. Unfortunately, Their service is getting worse and worse. It’s a struggle to even just communicate with them, let alone getting an appointment. I tried to take my daughter there with a bad stomach pain they gave me a phone(!!!) appointment for a week later. These people are so far from real doctors and couldn’t care less about helping their patients.

Saw a GP ( rather not say her name ) and was told to book an appointment with a nurse to remove the ear wax for my 7 year old son. I did so with the receptionist. Had to wait 3 weeks for the appointment. I took half a day off , took my son out of school waited for our appointment which was running late and when went it was told by the nurse that my son is too young and she won’t do the procedure.
Very disappointing that the GP or receptionist did not know about it or no one was bother to call us and cancel this appointment rather than us going in and waiting.
I asked the nurse to refer us to a E and T doctor so we can do it privately as this has been bother my child and she assured me that a letter will be sent to me shortly.
After waiting and not receiving anything, I called the practice and was told I either need to book another GP appointment on the website or fill in a referral form in the website and request a referral.
Such unprofessional healthcare experience.

Had an x-ray this morning and by late afternoon my doctor contacted me with the results, amazing.

Poor service, last minute cancellation for a vaccine appointment due to nurse sickness which is understandable, but gp don’t give any alternatives at all. Even though had to wait three-four months to get that one appointment. So frustrated since not everyone can afford to pay for vaccines separately outside!

I have been with this surgery just over a year now and they have been excellent. Some of the doctors go above and beyond to try and cover all areas of any issue. Which I cannot say about other surgeries I’ve been with.

My family is registered with this GP from 2016. Service is getting worse in recent years, not able to get any appointments even for serious kids emergencies.
All I hear from Reception is to fill an online form and wait for GP to call back. We have been referred back from Kingston hospital EMERGENCY WARD to show the copy of my 8 year old daughter ECG report to GP and get her ECG monitored at-least for next 24hours on emergency basis as her pulse is going very high up to 140 and she had severe chest pain, shivering and keep complaining breathless now and then. We are very worried but GP wants to give an appointment to see her after a week, are you really serious about this?
Now we are left with no other option going back to A&E again or private hospital. Then what's the point registering with this GP?

Best GP I've ever been to!
Having moved around the country 5-6 times, I've had a lot of varied experience at different GP clinics. We registered with Claremont one day after a health scare and they have been extremely attentive and efficient with our care. After an initial consultation, we had a follow up 2 days later and a referral to Kingston hospital the next day - for tests and scans. This resulted in a corrective procedure being booked at the hospital within a few days of registering!
It was hands down the quickest and most effective treatment experience I've had with the NHS.
The digital booking system is brilliant and easy to use, and you can check in on a digital screen when you arrive. The waiting room was also spacious and comfortable.
The GP we saw, Dr Polomcic, was very caring, knowledgeable and explained things really clearly. She also follows up regularly to check in on progress to make sure things are moving along smoothly. Thank you!

Awful experience. Dr Iman turned unwell 4 month old away due to mix up as we could not contact them after appointment was made and we had far to travel. Then proceeded to be incredibly rude and unhelpful.

It's a nice surgery located with a pharmacy inside the building (Paydens) for convenience and a decent size parking lot. The receptionist with the US/Canadian accent is always a pleasure to speak to - very friendly and helpful, always upbeat. Good transport links too - bus stops right outside the parking lot. Doctors are always very fast to issue my repeat and contact me if there's any issues like I need a review ect. Glad I switched to this surgery from Babylon's GP at Hand.

Dr Iman refused to give address of Gp surgery when I asked she said googled it. I came with my sick child far away by calling 111 and she refused to see my child as I am late 15 minutes.

I am in extreme pain after colorectal radio therapy. Central Surgery would only give me a telephone appointment for two weeks ahead. The receptionist can hardly speak English, does’t seem able to use her computer and doesn’t know the names of the doctors in the practice. Worse the receptionist is expected to do triage but lacks any training... A & E is the only solution.
Even one star is too good. Definitely not recommended.
It has an NHS rating as “In need of improvement” which is something of undertstatement.

DR.HARRIET CUNNINGHAM ??.A, fantastic listener .Wonderful doctor with extreme patient care at the forefront.Impeccable bedside manners with genuine advice alwsys. Always showing concern for the patient.I,am sure others doctors are pretty good, too but Dr.Cunningham is the "SPECIAL ONE" I, have had two great consultantions to her surgery and have come out feeling 'CURED' 💯. Today, have received details how to go the extra mile in recovering from my medical situation .We,are seniors and we were given the respect and care but not hurried at all .

I am with the surgery over 10 years and I still don't have a regular GP whom I see. Appointments are still telephone only (including for skin conditions - haha ) and usually available after a 4-6 week wait. By then most of the time any symptoms and issues have disappeared or I had to go the A & E in the meantime... so I am considering to finally leave this practice.

The health Centre is on the whole a great place, no problems with the x-ray department or physiotherapy. As for Berrylands Surgery I would strongly suggest you never register with them. It used to be a fabulous Surgery until Dr Benton took it over, since then it has gone down hill rapidly.

I'm so glad I'm with Central Surgery. Everyone is very friendly and will always 'go the extra mile' to help if they can.
I've recently been in quite a state with a back injury and was getting grief from my employers. All staff, both clinical and support staff have done everything they can to help me through this very difficult time.
Also, the COVID vaccination programme at this practice was run very efficiently
Glad to have both the surgery and the Health Centre in my area.

Great reception staff, who are always polite and happy to help. And the drs are great too, very reassuring and always have time for you. Great surgery all round. I'd like to add to this that the drs and reception staff have been amazing over the pandemic. And I suffer a rare disease and until I moved to this practice a G.P had never read up on my disease properly whereas my Dr here went out of their way to look it up and study it. Which made me feel im in safe hands. Cannot fault this surgery! So happy I found them 💓 Updated - still just as happy with this practice and I feel so fortunate to have found this practice. I never want to have another G.P as past experiences with past practice was awful. If I could give 10 stars I definitely would!!!!

The staff is very friendly. Wait times might be long so do expect a 15-20 minute wait as doctors are often running late. Often have to wait a long time for appointments but do also have Saturday appointments which is very convenient and helpful.

They are always too busy and you have to wait 4-6 weeks for an appointment. Thankfully I'm fairly young and healthy. I put a request online with them for a repeat prescription. Their rule is you have 48 hours before they complete your order. 48 hours later and they still haven't done it usually followed by a comment suggesting you're to blame.
Unfortunately I'm incredibly busy and work long unforgiving hours which means I often find myself unable to collect the prescription for 7-10 days as it falls on days when I'm working and unable to pick it up. This is a long time when you're reliant on asthma inhalers. It also stresses the importance for reliability, which they lack. I ended up picking up more inhalers in Italy as I ran out and couldn't risk not having any.
The place is modern and clean throughout with the latest of technology available. Personally I feel this is a mask for an underperforming surgery.
Some of the receptionists are lovely. Some are rude and think they're qualified doctors wanting to know your complete medical history offering their 'professional' opinion. They make you disclose this in front of everyone else in line behind you and well within ear shot. Thank god I've not had anything embarrassing.
I'll stay with them until I move in 6 months and hopefully find a better medical practice. If they weren't understaffed compared to the number of patients I imagine this would be a good surgery.

Excellent health centre. Clean, well designed and cheerful. We need more surgery and health centre like this one. Service is efficient and quality of care is first class. Car park a bit small but spaces opened up quickly so be patient if you cannot find a space right away.

Lovely new health centre. Much better than the old one. Multiple surgeries, mostly friendly staff. Lots of services here. Make sure to remember your registration for the car as you get free parking if you enter it on a computer or tell a receptionist. Kept fairly clean. Nothing to complain about the actual place.

As a person that has been with central surgery for quite a long time I have seen them grow from a small practice in the Ewell road up through the years to where they are now.
Appointments are extremely difficult to get on the day or within the week that you want. I would like to see a couple of new doctors to help spread the work load and maybe reduce the waiting time for appointments.
Other than that it is a fantastic surgery
