I’d give this clinic 0 stars if I could. You could be having a miscarriage or cancer and the doctors still won’t call you with test results. To this day, still haven’t got a call and it’s been 3 months. Thank god you can check your own lab online. And on top of that the receptionists are complete aholes to anyone and everyone considering the vulnerable state majority of the people that visit the clinic are in. I’d just avoid the place at all costs and your waaaaay better off visiting the Medicentre across the street at Rexall. Horrible place. Honestly they should pick up on their reviews and just for the sake of people’s health, just do better.

Don’t recommended this clinic. Doctor doesn’t seem to bother to help you. I came when I had very low blood pressure instead of giving me any medication elderly doctor said just drink salt water. Even he didn’t care to answers all my questions when I explained all the symptoms to him. I believe there should be an age limit for doctors to practice. One who needs caretaker himself is doctor in this clinic. I respect elderly people but yes this is the reality.

Overall, I am generally satisfied, but there is room for improvement, particularly in courtesy and interpersonal skills. As an immigrant, I value quality reception, especially at the front desk where most of the staff share my background. Enhancing these aspects is crucial to uphold the high standard of Canadian customer service. Additionally, addressing issues such as the answering machine declaring the clinic closed even 15 minutes after opening could benefit from better training and courtesy.

Don’t bother. This clinic will never respect any patients time regardless if u have an appointment or not. They book you in from before the doctor even comes in, and tell u only when u ask that the doctor is “running late”. Not once within years has my BOOKED appointment resulted in a wait time of less than 40 mins here. Dr Rehmani is nice, but she literally rushes out the door as soon as she’s done talking. Please be more considerate of patients time, and realize that bookings are to accommodate patients schedule, not a formality you can constantly disregard.

My husband and I have been with Dr. Wilson for 15 years now.He is a caring doctor and I really appreciate his compassion. Also his receptionist Brenda is outstanding.

If i can give 0 star I will. My kid didn’t wanna open her mouth so the Indian doctor told my 5 yr old kid that “if you don’t want me here, I will leave because there’s 30 patients waiting for me outside”. That is not how you approach a kid. He didn’t even told us that he was going to swab my daughter’s throat after he asked to open her mouth. My twin daughter saw what the doctor did to her sister that’s why she was going crazy and scared, the doctor was very rude and he even asked somebody to help holding my daughter’s arms to swab the throat. I hope this doctor knows how to approach or talk to a toddler. I will never gonna come back for sure to this clinic.

Forget about walk in during weekends. Doctors only see their patients (with appointments)
Front desk lady do not leave you talk. She just wants to finish the conversation as soon as possible.
If you’re patient they will move your appointment wherever they want without previous announcements, so you will have to adjust to them. But you won’t be able to move your appointment!
So be careful!

Similar to other reviews, my family physician is great, but front desk is terrible. Also, there are several times that you try to call and the call doesn’t connect. I’ve mentioned this to the front desk, no one cares.

After waiting 3 hours to see someone. Which doesn't bother me as I was a walk in and expected this. The doctor came in and asked what he could do for me. After explaining my back pain for not even a full minute he said he was going to interrupt me. Told me to get a family doctor because he was too busy to do anything other than give me an anti-inflammatory. Wouldn't not let me explain my symptoms. Sent me for an xray he said he probably couldn't follow up on because he's too busy. And advised me to go find someone else. Did not ask what medication I was currently on. Still can't believe how blown off I was.

Save yourself the walk in clinic and go somewhere else

I did a walk in with them. I was there at 9am sharp and got all checked in. I wasn't even taken to the check up room till 10:45. There I waited till 11:40 to see the doctor. During my wait, one of the nurse / care taker opened the door and as soon as she saw me started to close the door. When I asked her when the doctor will be there, she didn't reply and slammed the door quickly. Then I heard her saying " oh we forgot him". Extremely unprofessional staff. When I came out of the room to ask if the doctor is coming, that lady was very unfriendly as if I owed her something. Never ever again.

Received a letter from my family doctor stating that I have not seen him for a number of years. It’s been three years due to my v4xx status not because I haven’t tried to get in to see him in the last three years. Let’s rewind to early 2020 I had a phone call appointment with Don for a prescription refill since he wasn’t accepting any patients in office due to covid. First off, you’re a doctor, your duty is to treat the sick. Don gave me a generous refill amount, for that I was thankful as I was about to have a newborn child. Fast forward to summer of 2021 I called to book an appointment for a refill on my prescription where I was hounded by the receptionist of my v4xx status. When she learnt I was not v4xx’d she said she had to check with Don and if he approved to see me I’d be booked on a Friday with other non v4xx’d patients. After a few days of waiting I never received a call back so I called them. They didn’t want to book me in nor would they schedule a phone call appointment like they did at the beginning of covid for my refill. I was at a loss. I could not believe what has happening. Don was my doctor for almost a decade he even helped me through a scary medical time in my past. I was very astonished to learn that he didn’t give a $hit about me as a patient due to my v4xx status. Fast forward to today, I receive a letter stating that he’s changing his scope of practice and can no longer provide me with medical care starting November 10, 2023 with the option to request continuing care by October 30, 2023. Changing his scope of practice meant that he is dropping me as a patient, because there are more people who are in need of a family doctor; if you are fully v4xx’d they’ll accept you with arms wide open. There wouldn’t be a need for this letter if he would have seen me in the first place. It’s called discrimination when you are treated differently from others. This office has discriminated against me due to my medical choices. I’m very disappointed in you Don, yes I say Don, because I have lost respect for you as a doctor and a man. It is very sad to see you have discriminated against your very own patients, the patients YOU took The Hippocratic Oath for. Here’s a reminder of the oath YOU pledged:

Donald Wilson, the letter your staff has sent to me has your old location address from when you were located on Lessard Road some years ago. I highly suggest you get them to update your letter head. The professionalism outputted from your office truly is remarkable.

Dr. Roberta Jones is a very rude doctor. Highly insensitive to talk to patients and the attendents.

I have been coming to this clinic from last 4-5 years. I have never had any problems with this clinic staff and doctors. Everyone here is too good and very polite, But this one doctor is just so rude.

I saw doctor Ticu mid way through my pregnancy journey, I must say she is incredible. Today was the last day I saw her as I have to go back to my family doctor now but I want to thank her for guiding me and also giving tips for my newborn.
Also, the front desk staff has always been super helpful & professional.

As previous comments are saying it’s sometimes hard to get through on the phone and you’re placed on hold for a long time. However, my doctor Dr Paras is amazing. She’s super straight forward and was great throughout my pregnancy and with my little one, as well as any other concerns me or my family had. Best doctor I’ve ever had, caring and takes time to listen to you no matter the issue!

My doctor used to work out of Summers Medical clinic where I went for 5 years and the front staff n my doctor was Amazing!
Skip ahead to my doctor now working out of 1356 Windermere Way Sphinx medical and all I can say after trying three times to make an appointment is WOW.
First time put on hold and after 28 mins hung up on. Second time called, put on hold. On hold 12 mins then a receptionist picked up and proceeded to insult my pronouncing of my doctors name ( keep in mind I have been pronouncing it this way for 5 plus years.
The receptionist had a strong accent and was extremely rude. I did get an appointment within 2 weeks and asked to have an extension on my prescription until my appointment. Receptionist agreed and said have pharmacist fax over request.
Third call, put on hold 5 mins.. asked the same receptionist why I had not been given my extension on prescription n she had no answer except that my doctor would be in Friday and hopefully have it done then..
Long story short .. awful receptionist, awful hours and if it wasn’t that I loved my doctor T. Siva I would be so inclined to tell the receptionist to find a job where customer service is not required.

Clinic is very clean and has a pleasant atmosphere. Front desk staff are very busy, but are pleasant and helpful.
Dr. Rehmani is amazing! She listens to your concerns; explains procedures and is on top of following up on your medical needs. Dr. Rehmani is a dedicated doctor who shows care and compassion to her patients in a professional manner.
This is a busy clinic, and I have had to wait even though I had a scheduled appointment, but who cares - What clinic isn't busy!? Take a book to read

Dr. Krueger is amazing. However It took me two hours of consistently calling before a line even opened and then I spent over 10 minutes on hold before I was even able to book an appointment with reception and this happens every time. It gets tiring having a family doctor that I can't get through to 99% of the time because of the phone delays. Whether this is an overcapacity issue with too many patients and not enough doctors or understaffed reception, this needs to be fixed. I'm over it.

So the clinic can’t even open up on time to start with. I will never take my son here again and I don’t suggest anyone take their kids there. Or themselves for that matter. My son had an injury in hockey and went there to find out what was wrong. They looked at his ankle for 2 mins and then put a couple check marks in some boxes and a signature on some Hockey Canada paperwork and then charged us 350$ for it. Not only do I think the doctor gave us the wrong prognosis, he charged us 350$. Shame on you doctor, that’s a 13 year old kid. You shouldn’t be charging anything for that kind of service. Absolutely ridiculous, that’s terrible! And if that’s the standard, shame on all of you doctors, that’s ridiculous!

Very bad service please don't come your stuff and doctors are know what are they treat with customers and I have a pictures which room they give us is very dirty look like on one clean and please clean your clinic first and when you give appointments so don't cancel .

The doctors and front desk are very unprofessional! The doctor came to work late which pushed every appointment late making everyone wait for more than an hour. They prioritize walk in patients more than the people who took their time to make an appointment. Receptionist are very rude when you ask questions why it’s taking so long. Avoid this clinic at all cost if possible.

One of the worst medical service of the town. Ladies taking calls would put on hold for hours to book an appointment. Even then they will not pick you up. Doctors get easily emotional while discussing any medical issues...poor administration..I would give them zero rating sucking tax payers money

I tried to book an appointment and I call them 3times and no answer. When finally someone pick-up the phone unfortunately after I booked the date she just put me on hold without saying anything and I waited for 24 MINUTES to be entertained again. Miss Indian Lady hopefully you do your job professionally, I know the clinic might busy that day but girl we have work to do as well.

Dr Lao is amazing and I had a great experience with her. However the staff is concerning. Before being seen by the Dr the nurse who took my pressure seemed very rushed, threw on my cuff haphazardly. Then basically threw me into another room without any explanation or reassurance. Should i take everything off? Drape myself? Sit on the exam table or in a chair. No direction was given other than the Dr will be in shortly. Then I called 2 weeks later regarding followup advice for a potential complication. Dr.Lao was away on vacation and before I could explain my situation the receptionist hung up on me mid sentence. As someone who also works in healthcare this is not how I would treat patients, as a little compassion and empathy goes a long way especially where their health is concerned.

Dr Lund is a horrible doctor, she is the leading factor to my fathers death, I will never recommend or forgive her, prescribing him highly addictive medication knowing family history of addiction, and when my father grew sick she kept giving him the drugs. She is the reason I do not have a father.if I could give this 0 stars I would

My partner walked in here today after confirming with the receptionist their walk-in times. She said, word for word "you can come by between 2-3" only for him to go there and for her tell him that their walk-in doctor is not there anymore and it was only 2:10 PM!

Dr M’Hamed Mensour Is very professional I have been his patient for over 7 years, he is very thorough, kind. He is one of the best doctor takes his time he doesn’t rush you out even he has other patients waiting.

I love this clinic, been with them for a couple years now. The receptionists and nurses are so kind. Dr. Brar is the best doctor I've ever had. She truly cares about her patients.

Doctor Tabani is incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to listen to all of my concerns and questions. He had a thorough understanding of my medical history and was able to provide me with clear explanations and recommendations for my treatment. What impressed me the most was his genuine care and compassion for his patients.Overall, my experience with this doctor was nothing short of excellent.

Was my doctor for years then one day they just stopped answering me.I went for some tests and they just never called back with results. Every time I tried to contact them they never answerd and refuse to ever call back after leaving messages. Also he's type of doc that every time u go in with a problem. He shrugs it off says it's fine. when rly your not I do not recommend going here.

My son and i have been going to this clinic for almost 20 years. They are all wonderful, caring, and very helpful. We go to Dr. Sepannma-Lund, and she is always very helpful, listens to my concerns and understanding. I also see Janice, the nurse, due to my diabetes. She always says hello to me even if I don't have an appointment. I dropped into the clinic the other day, I had no appointment, but she brought me into her office anyway and talked with me for about 20 minutes or so.

as with most of the reviews here, I am pleased with my Dr's level of engagement and competence but the clinic's admin staff are the weak link either by process design or hiring practices. rude on the phone, English proficiency should at least be at the level they can understand the letters of the alphabet when a person is spelling their name and long phone wait times. they need to consider an online booking system.

if i can give him 0 and less i would , it's the worst clinic i ve ever gone to, staff are unprofessional, have no idea of what they're doing, you take an appointment and still have to wait for a long long time, Dr ben , i feel like he doesn't care about your health he just want to get rid of you and see the next patient, i went there with my wife , more than 10 times, and my wife had problem with her stomach, he told her that it 's only her imagination, after seeing another doctor , my wife suffers from Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Stomach Nerves,, while Dr Ben told her it's a mental illness, and thats not the first time, it's second time that he told her that, the first time, was regarding shoulder pain, and for 2 months , he came up with the same reason it's mental health, i don't know how did he even get his license, i also did some tests , i can see all tests results online , while it's been more than 2 weeks that I'm still waiting for a call from him and every time i call the clinic they told me, my file is still under review, what a joke....... come on.

i will file a complain about him and ask to get his license revoked

I have had a great experience with this clinic and would recommend friends/family to become patients here.

Prompt phone calls to discuss test results. My wife and I were told there were concerns about a prenatal ultrasound. Another test was recommended and we received a call about the results on the following day. This was appreciated because we were not left worrying for a long time.

Nurse Roxanne is so special. She completely calmed my nerves and validated my fears. She is truly such a caring and compassionate person, not to mention extremely knowledgeable. I’m so grateful to have her on my medical team. Thank you so much Roxanne!

I have been going to this clinic for more than 20 years. My doctor Mr. Mahmood Nizam is very caring & always be there for us when we need him, even if we need any prescription over the phone he calls us back on the same day & help us out. I give all 5 stars to this clinic & highly recommend to everyone!

While the staff and doctors are decent and professional, this place is not really a warm or welcoming environment. It's efficient and great if you don't need anything out of the ordinary.

Dr. Mensour is very professional and very efficient. He has been the most timely doctor I've visited with and is refreshingly no-nonsense. Not for patients who won't put in the work for their health. He's great for patients willing to take charge and manage their health more actively, though. Be honest and he'll steer you right.

However they will charge you for cancelling appointments even if you're sick, and so they'll force you to go in and risk infecting others, or force you to pay for trying to be considerate.

They're nice folks but their policies border exploitative.

Terrific clinic. Managed extremely well. Always very clean. Always easy to get a hold of, whether it is by phone or fax. They understand the importance of holding same day spots (sadly this is not common practice elsewhere and it really should be). All of the staff are always extremely professional, friendly and efficient. I am sad that my doctor is retiring, as I drive from Spruce Grove to see my incredibly knowledgeable and compassionate doctor - Dr. Dean Cave and his wonderful team. Thank you for 8+ years of exceptional care!

I have been going to the Heritage Lane Medical Clinic for around 35 years. I would not trade the people there for anything. The staff has always been extremely helpful and Dr. Husain is my hero. Not only does he check on my physical health, he's also very interested in my mental and emotional health. I give him credit for saving my life by sending me for my mammogram when I had forgotten about it. They found a tumor but because it was caught early, surgery, chemo and radiation got me through. As long as they are there, I will never go anywhere else.

Exceptional medical care. Dr. Ticu is absolutely the best. She is so thorough and goes above and beyondfor her patients.

I recently started seeing Dr Young at Hawkstone medical! I did not have a good experience at my past drs office in spruce grove, so I was happy to get in here but nervous I’d have the same experience. The opposite! The reception actually greet you with a smile and are friendly! Dr Young is amazing…she actually cares to listen to you :) and the nurse I talked with today (Amanda) is so kind and made me feel so comfortable talking with her :)

Seen Dr Ben a couple times, very nice guy but every time I've come in I've waited 30+ mins for my scheduled appointment time. Just today I had to leave because even though I took an extra hour off of work to make the appointment I still had to leave otherwise I'd be late for work. Time management needs to be worked on, but based on how long he's gotten these types of reviews he obviously doesn't care. Not happy

If I could give 0 stars I would. It took “Dr” Ben 4 weeks to call me back and when he did he yelled at me as a patient of his telling me my wife is not welcome to call the clinic on my behalf. His receptionists deserve negative stars because of how awful they are at their job. They do not return voicemails, they do not call people back when they say they will, and they told me “it will get done when it gets done.” They started screening our phone calls and not giving us answers for when our paperwork will be done. He then proceeded to inform me he was refusing me as a patient all because he was “too” busy to fill out 2 forms. His office staff was beyond incapable of doing their job. They refused to take our calls refused to call us back all because they said we called them too much. All of this was regarding just getting 2 forms filled out for veterans affairs which now I will not get because I no longer have a doctor to see. I do not recommend this clinic to my worst enemy.

I had a scheduled appointment. Waited a hour and 15 minutes in a room waiting for the doctor and I finally ran out of patience and left. When I arrived I was the only patient I noticed in the building. While I was waiting I could hear him in his office on the phone which sounded like personal calls.

I waited weeks for this appointment and it was very important for me. The lack of respect made me question if he was even going to properly diagnose me.

Never again.

4 days after labor, I got UTI and can barely walk with the stitches. Healthy Beginning staff recommended me to contact my family doctor and have urine test in 24 hours. The receptionist just said there’s no available appointment and told me to walkin. I emphasized this is 4 days after labor, I can barely walk. The staff said OK? Sounds like I am acting crazy. No caring, no empathy. Then she said to check with the doctor and call me back, of course, I never get a call back from them. Stay away from this clinic if you want to live longer.

If I can give 0, I’ll do it. The reception called me this morning to cancel my mom’s family doctor appointment next Thursday due to the doctor moved to another branch. I was asking if that’s possible to move the appointment to the other branch? The answer is no, I need to call another branch to re-book the appointment- slot not guaranteed. Then I asked is that possible to see another doctor at the same time slot as I have this appointment booked before Christmas because I know it’s hard to book appointment on the day works for you. The answer is also a No, as they only take walk ins. I can take my mom as walk ins on the same day. I said I still have to work afterwards, that’s why I booked appointment for the certain time to go to the clinic. The answer still a no, if my mom needs to see a doctor, she has to walk in and wait there, whenever it’s her turn on walk ins that day. This clinic is ridiculous!!!! They have doctors on that day, just can’t see you on your scheduled time, you have to walk in and wait…..there is a reason people make appointments ahead of time!!! I would never go back to this clinic anymore!

My husband has been seeing the same Dr for 40 yrs. He moved to Hawkstone Medical Clinic a couple of years ago. The staff are rude and unhelpful and whoever runs the clinic obviously cares more about the money than the patients. My husband called today to book an appointment only to find out that his Dr had retired. The receptionist said that they sent out a letter informing them, which is not true he received nothing. (He had received other mail from them so we know they had his address) Instead of the receptionist acknowledging it could be the clinic's fault she said well, too late now we have no space you will have to find someone else and hung up. My advice would be never to go there.

The receptionist Cheryl is wonderful. Clinic was extremely busy and she had such patience and compassion with each and every person coming in. Our healthcare system is so over stressed and her professionalism and genuineness was impressive. The Dr. I saw was also very efficient and thorough. Thank you

You always wait SO LONG to see the doctor when you have a scheduled appointment. Their time management is terrible. I was told I would get a referral and never heard back, even when I called a couple months later to request it again. Family doctors never know what the problem is. I've been trying to solve my issue for YEARS. On top of that, getting an appointment here always takes over a month. Our entire health care system is broken and this place is no different.

I love my doctor. She is super sweet. But I hate waiting an hour every visit and having to micro-manage them in order to get proper care.

Dr. Colthrust is a great doctor. I am so glad me and my family are able to have him as a family doctor.

The staff are amazing and diligent with making sure notifications of appointments are known, it's very clean and professional. It's been awhile since a previous appointment time made has been met. Love this clinic.

Having Dr M’hamed Mensour to be my doctor is the luckiest thing that happened to me this year.

My original family doctor whom I had been seeing for decades retired last year. I met Dr Mensour for a complete physical and luckily became his patient this summer.

Then I had an accident. I fell, got a mouth-wide cut below my jaw and bled quite a bit. The following day I walked in to see Dr Mensour without an appointment for there was yellow fluid seeping out. Both receptionists at the front desk were very nice and helped to inform Dr Mensour about my condition. I was put through to see Dr Mensour without a long wait even though the clinic was very busy at that time. Dr Mensour examined my wound and took time to do the stitches for me even though he was very busy and had patients waiting for him in the other consultation rooms. After the stitches were done, my wound was healing very well. On the very next day after I had a X-Ray done, he took time and called me in person to tell me the X-Ray result even though the X-Ray result was normal and showed no bone fractures. After the stitches were removed, the stitches were done so well that it cannot tell what happened there before; it’s like a magic.

Dr Mensour is a very good doctor. He even showed me pictures from his laptop screen to illustrate my problems and answer my questions. Dr Mensour is very responsible, skillful, knowledgeable and he cares. He doesn’t mind to go extra mile to make sure things are done properly. I am lucky to have Dr Menour to be my doctor.

Probably not the clinic for you, if you are not vaccinated. My first highly negative experience with this clinic as this winter when my dr refused to give me a referral to a neurologist until I got vaccinated. As he said ‘call back when you’ve done your part to protect the elderly and I’ll give you a referral then.’. And then my second negative experience was when I called in and booked an appointment, and taken the time off work. Only to get a phone call the morning of the appointment to say it was being canceled because I was not vaccinated. And that Unvaccinated people were only allowed to come Friday afternoons and they were booked up for three weeks, so to book an appointment then. I then proceeded to tell the reception staff how this was stupid considering I needed to see a dr and they had an opening but I was being refused based on my vaccinated status. I was then told that due to being rude to the ‘nurse’ I wouldn’t be allowed back at the clinic and to find another one. Which was actually probably the best situation anyways.

I’m a patient here and am suffering from a very painful ear infection.

Reception tells me doctor Pickle is only doing phone calls today, I was offered an appointment on Thursday……

Have been seeing Dr Gingles for all my obstetric needs for all of my kids. Excellent medical attention. Appointments are quick but thorough and she listens to my questions and concerns.

I have recently known Dr. M. Mensour as my Family Doctor. I am seeing the Dr. for my back pain. I am better now. He is so kind, funny, knowledgeable and has lots of perseverance. He explains everything in detail. All staff in the clinic are so kind and helpful. Clinic has a very nice and beautiful space that a patient can really enjoy.

We moved to Canada 6 year back we've been visiting Dr Mansour ever since. He is too good in his field n his diagnosis is very accurate. He gives his 100% time n concern. My husband and me is very very pleased with him too. He has resolved all his issues with patience and great consultantation. Very considerate and kind hearted. He makes follow up calls He has always given us the right medication. We highly recommend as a family physician for all ages.

Magrath dental is the absolute BEST dental clinic I have ever been to and I've been to alot! I have never found one I like until I found Magrath. Both Dentists there are equally amazing! Not only are they extremely knowledgeable and professional but they actually care about their patients on a deeper level. You're not just another patient to them, they care about you and your well being. They go above and beyond . I encourage anyone looking for a new dentist to go to Magrath! The secretary and hygienists are also amazing! Super friendly and kind! I give them 100 stars!

Dr. Nizam has been my doctors for about 10 years now and I could not be happier. I can get my appointment on days that work for me, and the staff always follow up when they say they will. In instances when I cannot go in, Dr. Nizam is always accessible by phone to discuss whatever issues I may be faced with.

Dr. Mensour is a no nonsense, very knowledgeable, medical professional who really is interested in my personal health and is not prepared to prescribe medications unless they are absolutely necessary.
He will give you his best but he expects you to follow through on his recommendations for you.
As a professional engineer, I respect Dr. Mensour’s willingness to fully explain any test results in a clear and organized manner.
I appreciate his honest straight forward approach as he works with me on continuing to help me develop an all around healthy lifestyle.

I have been going to this clinic for many years. The staff are efficient, friendly, compassionate and very helpful. They have helped me through breast cancer and treatment, a broken arm, and other medical events. Dr. Lund has been amazing, even calling me at home with test results. I would highly recommend this clinic.

Dr. Virani is best described as a doctor that isn't willing to do anything for his patients. I had other issues whenever I needed to see him but brushed it off, the last straw was I simply needed a signature for a replacement CPAP machine (sleep apnea) I had already purchased to submit for insurance. Told me to figure out a different way to get a signature because he was worried about a lawsuit. Reading other reviews, I don't know why he doesn't just retire. Do yourself a favor and find literally any other doctor accepting patients and don't waste your time here.

I went for a meet and greet and from the moment Dr. Virani started talking, I immediately knew this wouldn't work. He focused on mentioning everything he does not do, that he is a solo practitioner and therefore, if he is out of town the clinic is closed. Sounded as if he was giving us reasons not to pick him. My husband and I did not feel comfortable at all in that meeting, so we just left knowing this was not the doctor for us.

I have been with Dr. Virani for the past 4 years and honestly it’s been great. His personality is more in the serious side but he’s respectful and kind. Julian the medical assistant is very nice too

Dr Virani is the most worse Doctor ever in this Universe.He is very rude and not helpful at all. Whatever you ask him, he only has a very limited answer to say. Always in rush to get away from patients. Only recommended if someone wants to have the doctor's note to meet the benefits requirements.

I’ve called twice times, once to just asked if my physician was still there and they said no. I went to google to find out where he was. Second call was to ask for further information about where he had moved too because I looked on both website to where my physician was but his information wasn’t there. I don’t know who the receptionist was but she was no help, kept telling me to click number four. Yes I understand my physician has moved but none of these contact information works.

Lastly, I called because I needed help or a little guidance to where my physician is but the receptionist was rude, not helpful and clearly doesn’t care.

This would be an excellent coaching opportunity for that receptionist on telephone etiquettes. September 2 2020.

Highly not recommended. Unfortunately I share most of the bad experience with Dr Virani. They are true and it only shows that many people feel the same. Arrogant, not very knowledgeable, no empathy whatsoever, always looking for extra appointments just to earn $$$. Does not care too much about people. Clinic open until 5 pm but last appointment is at 3...Even with a life/death results, he would not provide information when begging the nurse to do so at 4:30 pm when the clinic was still open and he was there. Made me wait and I ended up in a walk-in clinic and got the results I was waiting for. I had many unpleasant experiences with him and this clinic so finally, although the location is comfortable for me, I decided to change the doctor. Now it is less stress for me and a nice friendly atmosphere. Don't waste your time with Dr Virani! I also experienced his wife- a psychologist in the same clinic that treated her worker really bad, poor lady! Both of them only make money and this is what matters for them. They look down on patients and their workers. Stay away from this clinic!

Dr Virani is the most uncaring doctor I have ever come across, no wonder he is accepting patients, because no one wants to see him. My husband went in for a meet and greet today ( May 29, 2020) He hasn't been feeling well, and doesn't look well, Dr. Virani said to him " You don't look well" and then told him he would not accept him as a patient. Who does that? I thought doctors were suppose to be caring. I am giving 1 star because I can't post with out at least 1 star

If I could leave less than 1 star, I would. Dr. Virani is the most arrogant person I have ever met in my life. He refuses to do any basic female exams and brushes off anything you tell him is happening with your health. All he wants to do is send you for unnecessary x-rays, etc because I assume he gets a kick back for how many exams he orders.

He is dismissive and rude. I'm not sure why he doesn't just retire if he is so miserable being a doctor. I've since found a new doctor and the experience has been night and day.

I had a bad experience here. At my first meet and greet the doctor was late and unfortunately I had to leave. I just rebooked, not a problem. Then at my next appointment they called me in early. I came in early and then the staff said you have cancelled you appointment 3 times. I'm like the doctor was late the first time, the second time you called me in early so yes this is the third time but it's not my fault. No one seemed to be aware that someone at the clinic called me in early. They said it must be someone in the back. They spent the whole time talking about their needs - this is what it costs for a missed appointment, this is what it costs for a missed physical, these are our hours, etc. Then they insisted on me signing to transfer my medical records on the spot. I needed time to think about it. I think this clinic needs to spend some time organizing to ensure they know when patients are coming in and please focus on your patients, not yourselves. I didn't get any time to discuss my medical needs. There seem to be too many staff and no one knows what's happening.

The nurses and the doctors have been quite exemplary in their service. We just joined this clinic recently, and are pleased with the overall service. There is just the one receptionist who can be rather surly at times- perhaps some training in public skills should work. The clinic does not deserve a 'fly in the ointment.'

After going to the hospital with breathing problems and chest pains and getting told I had a few hour wait due to a large number of ambulances arriving. I left the hospital and came to the clinic and was immediately pushed through to receive an injection. The staff were amazing. The doctor was very prompt. The clinic manager made sure I had everything I needed and even stopped to chat while she monitored me to make sure I was okay.

I am seeing Dr. Yan while my regular doctor is on maternity leave. She has been outstanding! You know the saying that no news is good news...well she doesn't listen to that at all. She has called me with the results of tests that were a concern AND when there was no concern...and the calls were AFTER hours! Communications from a doctor that is hard to find these days. Bravo Dr. Yan.

Great family clinic. Very timely and attentive staff. They respond to messages promptly and are diligent to follow up on tests and referrals. I am usually surprised when I call to make an appointment and they say “we can get you in today”.

This clinic is so organized. They should be sharing their secrets with other clinics!

Dr Allen Wong has been my family physician since 2006. Both he and the front end staff have always been very caring, and accommodating. I am always able to schedule an appointment without issue, and in semi emergencies, they usually are able to get me in that day or the next. Simply the best care I have ever received.

I have been a patient at this clinic for several years and never had an issue. The staff are kind and welcoming. I love that it is appointment only as this ensures you're not waiting too long unlike many other places I've been. My child was squirmy when he was an infant and they knew exactly how deal with him.

I see Dr. Dean Cave and have never had any complaints. He is to the point, doesn't sugar coat anything and gives you all the facts. He also has a great sense of humor for being a busy doctor. It's been about 6 years that I've been a patient of Dr.Cave and will continue for as long as he is practicing or that I am in Edmonton.

I've been using the clinic forever. The doctors I've dealt with are professional, knowledgeable and caring. The front end staff are good. Remember though, they are there to book appointments and keep the office organized, not to offer medical advice or get into an extended discussion of your symptoms.

My mother and myself have been going to this clinic for over 5 years. I've never had issues with getting an appointment in a reasonable amount of time.
There seems to be a lot of negative reviews about front staff. My last visit - the front staff was perfectly polite and friendly. No issues ever with unfriendly staff.
I've been with Dr. Lynda Nguyen and I've only been in once while she was away on vacation, but was promptly put in to see Dr. Cheung. Both Dr.'s listen to my concerns and address them with great results.

1 and 2 yr old negative reviews need updating. As I sit here waiting to see a doc the receptionist staff are incredible. Better than most any doctors office I have been too. Will update soon-ish.
Post visit ?? - update: Amazing! Things only got better through out the entire visit. I was lucky enough to get a doctor who didnt rush me out. Took the time to hear me and even asked me my thoughts. He wanted a thorough understanding. I have never had that kind of interaction. The overall human experience was unbeatable.

I have been going here before the clinic was in Magrath and they have always been great. I always feel welcomed and they listen to me when I call. Yes they deal with a lot of people and I seen a few bad reviews on here and I think that it is not fair to say the ladies are rude...as they are NOT..they are great and have always served me well!
Dr Holly is wonderful and she is a warming smile every time I come in. So thank you to all that work at the Magrath Medical Clinic. Keep up the good work!

My doctor is Dr. Cheung and he is awesome! He takes his time with you and isn't rushed. You can tell he truly cares. What I don't like about this clinic is their front staff. They are rude and could be friendlier at times - in person and over the phone. I feel like they don't care. I hope they get replaced by real healthcare professionals who cares about the patients, better yet who loves their job. I wouldn't return to this clinic if it wasn't for Dr. Cheung's care. Thanks Dr. Cheung!!
