BJSCC went above and beyond to support and provide calm, reassuring and supportive customer service over the phone. The receptionist provided multiple options and insight with scheduling and availability! Thanks for always treating your patients with such warmth
I enquired about an appointment over the phone with the receptionist this morning - unbelievably rude and unprofessional. After reading some reviews, I asked if there were any additional costs. She became very defensive and after a few more times asking admitted there would be extra costs. Base rate was $190 for a basic skin check or $390 for mole mapping and then it’s an additional $55 - $70 for a photo to be taken of one mole, with extra costs for “other services” which she refused to explain. Exorbitant prices considering all other places do this for half the price and don’t charge extra for additional services. Glad I didn’t book an appointment and hope the receptionist can find some manners in the near future.
Dr Trevor Tingate is F- usless to put it nicely. Poor guy can't even smile. It's a roll of the dice there waiting. Hopefully you don't get him.

Rude and very unhelpful
I got my skin checked last week. It was a brilliant experience. The whole team from my first contact with reception to the detailed scan and my operation to remove a cancer was first class. They have a full map of my skin so can see quickly and systematically if anything changes. Couldn't recommend the team highly enough.
If I could give more stars I would! This medical centre is the only one who have GREAT customer service and really care about their patients. Absolute legends here!
I hope the front desk staff who’s working in the most inside seat can improve her customer service skills. Because you are stand for Australia National Status. I feel so cold service when I suffered serious pain in my stomach and asking for toilet. When I said so many time “excuse me” to her, she pretended unable to hear me and I was like talking to the air.

My parents and me are first time to travel in Australia and visit Bondi Beach. Because of her, we feel Australian people could be that extremely cold. And I even think this is exactly treat to me differently and she is a racist to our Asian people.

In addition, the toilet should be fixed.
We are from WA and when in Sydney we use this centre since many years. Grateful for bulk billing. Doctors and receptionist are very good. I miss Dr. Balafas who is an excellent diagnostician. Very good, thank you. Gunther and Sue Jank, Perth
I generally have no issues with doctors other than the occasional dismissal when asking for referrals but when you pay for the consult you tend to be seen faster and “get what you pay for” basically.

They seem to have reduced their bulk billing “capacity” now. Went in the afternoon and was told first available doctor was not an option as they no longer do bulk billing at that time (2.30 pm) and that was due to the busy period they go private after they’ve reached their bulk billing capacity. This didn’t quite make sense as they couldn’t give me a hard figure on how many bulk billing patients was their maximum and it wasn’t overly busy either? Sounded a bit fishy but I was seen.

Shame the owners of the practice take advantage of patients this way. I know GPs are not adequately paid but patient health care should be the primary goal and not profits - many walked out. Business is business I suppose.
This is the best skin clinic I have been to. They use a computer to map your skin so that every check up is compared to the previous one so I feel it is much more thorough and safer than other places.
Also the staff are great and the receptionist is always so friendly and helpful and makes it a very pleasant visit. Would highly recommend.
I’d like to say Thanks you for Dr.Myf for the lovely service and care with me today. She was really nice and for sure I will come back for another appointment with her. Also for the receptionist the asian I don’t know her name but she was very kind , I arrived after 5 pm and was already closed but she was very sweet trying to find a Dr. able to help me.

Given the possible vulnerable state of patients who go to a doctor, the least they deserve is to be welcomed and treated with empathy and be helped by the receptionists as well as the doctors. Well this is the worst medical practice I have encountered in my life! How are there such unhelpful human beings on the forefront of a large practice is beyond me. Please train them or let them go! They are heartless and need an injection of benevolence

Angela, the receptionist is incredible, she always goes above and beyond to cater for all my needs. She is always positive and displays a can do attitude , no ask is too big!! Going to the doctors is always a daunting experience for me but thanks to Angela and the team, I feel at ease knowing I’m being cared for in good hands.
Experience is not what it used to be, no plan to remediate and the lower rating is for the receptionist. This morning when I called to follow up missed calls from the Dr, she was about to go all ghetto on me! I could hear it in the tone so i thought just leave it there, you ain’t going to ruin my zen so early in the AM 😂 not a friendly place anymore
Avoid at all costs. The staff at reception are incredibly rude and have 0 empathy. They could do with a lesson in manners and how to treat people nicely.

Dr Stuart Morris however is lovely and was very informative in my last appointment with him. It's a shame the staff at reception bring the place down.
Dr Robyn Kaye at Bondi Junction Medical Practice is a dedicated doctor who goes above and beyond for her patients - thank you would not go anywhere else👍🏻

Just called to book an Appointment on the phone with this ladys that just told me off and told me that didn't have any appointment available today and said " We don't have bye..." and hang up the phone .
I couldn't believe the interaction...
I called right back after and ask why they don't give any other options, she ask me if I was already a Patient with them I said No and she told me " Then I cannot do anything.. Bye" and Hang out again.
I am just trying to book for a referal and didn't even have time to tell her that, that it was already a negative answer.
The Interraction was so rude and hanging out on People.. honestly..
I am working in Customer service in retail and This would be the perfect Exemple for the worst Interraction ever!!!
This skin clinic is amazing!!!!! the staff and doctor are lovely and very knowledgeable and friendly .
Any time you have questions they will answer them and if any time you need an appointment asap they will find a way to fit you in .
I highly recommend this place , I have been going here for many many years with my husband . And we will continue coming here for the rest of our lives .

The staff is pretty rude. The way of talking to the customer is not acceptable. Came for the first time and doesn't know the instruction or the way they work, but the staff talked back blaming, in the way rude and unprofessional.

This is a superb little skin and medical centre in the heart of Bondi Junction. Angela the main receptionist is fabulous beyond measure. Angela always goes out of her way to asisst in making my appointments seamless and nothing is to small for her to help with!! It truly is a pleasure to be greeted with warmth and kindness every time I visit.
Dr Greg Norris is a fantastic skin doctor and GP who I highly recommend.
The GP reception is completely disorganised. I booked into a 9am appt over the phone, when I arrived they hadn’t booked me in and told me I was probably booked into another GP in Bondi. They rescheduled my appt 2.5 hours later after taking time off work. I waited around and came back, was waiting another 45 mins as I didn’t “sign in”. The receptionist was v dismissive, threw a QR code scanner on the desk telling me to sign in. I understand it’s busy but taking ownership for not booking someone in goes a long way.I paid my bill at reception and then got a phonecall 5 days later saying I had to pay another 35 dollars for a flu vaccine that only cost 20. Completely disorganised

Very rude receptionists.
Not only they are rude, and, disrespectful, but they are also liars. They said to me: we called you yesterday to confirm your appointment and your partner picked up your phone...Well my phone was with me not with my partner (my partner is overseas) and I had received no phone calls from them. I wish to give them 0 stars.
Robyn Kaye is an Excellent Doctor who takes the time to listen and discuss.
She is very thorough and ready to refer if necessary.
The practice is flexible and aware of situations which can change and tries to accommodate to avoid unnecessary anxiety

Really easy and quick process, receptionist was lovely despite being rushed off her feet. Dr Yasmin Langford-Wells was great, really lovely and personal and took a lot of interest - she was focused on solutions for me.
My wife and I have been going to the Clinic here for quite a number of years now, and even though we moved away from the area and a couple of hours away we wouldn’t go anywhere else.

From the always helpful Vincenza (who never gets fed up with us when we mess about with appointments and dates and is a pleasure to deal with), to the well trained nurses who do the imaging, and especially the Dr himself - we know we are in safe hands.

Irrespective of how many times they have to do the same thing and maintain their focus, they do - they are professional and proven (the Dr identified a tiny innocuous early melanoma on my wife that I suspect many may not have)

Would recommend without hesitation
The staff and service at the clinic is amazing! They show so much care and are so diligent with checking changes over time. I’m so grateful for their expertise and professionalism. The receptionist is lovely and very accommodating with fitting me in for an urgent review. She kept her promise of waitlisting me in the event of a cancellation and got me in quickly. Thank you!
The best medical centre I have been to in the eastern suburbs. Dr Tatiana Blagova was very reassuring when diagnosing me and gave me great resources to get better. Would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a GP especially because they are the only medical centre that is bulk billed. The receptionist was very helpful and kind guiding me throughout my appointment. 5/5 🤍
I permanently stopped going to this joke of a practice purely due to the raw incompetence of the reception and their harsh way of dealing with me as one of their patients. Of the 5 consultations I had with my GP, 4 times I had significant problems with the admin processes of reception (all entirely their fault), ranging from problems receiving medicare rebates to payment processing issues to god knows what else. Nothing went smoothly with the admin team at all. To fix just one of the problems their admin caused, I had to wait for at least 2 hours in total in line at Medicare 3 times just to retrieve an $80 Medicare rebate that Bondi Junction Medical Practice clearly should have organised for me easily in the first place! The entire admin staff are all incompetent and honestly awful people; especially the team manager, who honestly cannot do her job at all.

The only reason I am giving this clinic 2 stars instead of 1 star is because of the GP I was seeing, Dr Langford Wells. She is an absolutely stellar doctor that cares a lot about me as her patient. She has given me both very professional advice and treatments.

The reception team has turned me permanently away from seeing Dr Langford Wells as a patient.

Do not go to this practice. You will highly regret it.
I have been attending this clinic for over 15 years. I have always been treated with the utmost professionalism, and received top level care. The clinic has the best equipment available, and whilst I now live on the south coast 3 hours away, I continue to come to Bondi for my regular check ups. When I had a serious issue, I was treated with great respect, called after hours, had everything explained to me. I have never had anxiety, because I know am getting the best care available.

Regarding costs, I briefly went elsewhere, and the costs were the same. It would be great if it was bulk billed or if the government through Medicare gave better rebates, but as I am at high risk I will continue to invest my money in this medical checkup, at this service, because of their high tech equipment and attention to a detail, because my health is the most important thing to me.

It has not been my experience that unnecessary procedures are performed to make money, in fact on occasions, I have walked out without a single procedure being needed. I have been butchered my a ‘doctor’ in the past , who thankfully no longer practices, so I do have other experiences to compare this service to.

I have found the receptionists to be wonderful, trying to fit my appointments in, to coincide with my other reasons for coming to Sydney. I find Dr Donnellan to be personable, informative and he will take the time to explain what is going on.

In regards to people complaining about wait times, this is not usual and if it has happened, to me I just assume that a patient has had an unexpected diagnosis and required more time than was anticipated. In that case, I am happy to wait, and if work was calling, I could always rebook and come back another time. I can honestly say I have been left waiting less time here than in the average GP office. This is not a fast food outlet it is a service with one doctor. Reasonable expectations need to be applied.

I cannot recommend this service more highly.
JULY 2023 EDIT - DONT DO IT ! Keep away from the 'ANY DOCTORS' and seek out a GOOD DOCTOR . My recommendations ,Dr Stuart Morris , the two Aroney brothers ( the Aroneys will not take appointments though and it's random luck if you get to see them) and Dr Myfanwy (a competent caring female doctor ).I also recommend Dr Faye Sinn who has now relocated to Bondi Junction Medical and Dental Centre in Bronte Rd Bondi Junction ,another caring and competent female doctor
RE the 'any doctor ' I saw re review below ,I have since found out the script was way too high in strength that she gave me. I complained about her already in my JUNE EDIT before I knew this .This was a serious medical mistake which would have led to my skin being burnt off!!! There would have been dire consequences if it had not been for the diligence of the Pharmacist who phoned me concerned about the high strength . The ointment was supposed to be 0.10 percent in strength , she wrote it as 1 percent, 10 times stronger!! As I wrote previously my bad experience here with this particular doctor reminded me of why it's so important to seek out good doctors, and why we need to read reviews first , before we see any new doctor. It's the only way to protect ourselves.
The 5stars I originally gave are for Dr Stuart Morris, Dr Myfanwy, Dr Faye Sinn and the Aroney brothers It will remain for these good doctors.
The 'any doctor 'as I complained about in June made it obvious already that she had ZERO care and look what happened, it translated into medical negligence.She has been reported to the Health Care Complaints Commission .Honestly she should not be a doctor.

I've been a patient of the 7day Medical Centre Bondi Junction for 10plus years and stick with good doctors once I find them however today the doctors I would normally see were away , so not knowing anyone else I mistakenly agreed to see
'any Dr'. Don't do it! The Dr I saw today was dismissive, uninterested and unprofessional. Absolutely no joy or interest for her job whatsoever , that was obvious. Her manner was such that you really felt like you were a big nuisance to even be there?? It was an unsettling experience and not the way you should feel after seeing a medical professional.
-Ladies if you need to see a female doctor for something 'female' I highly recommend Dr Myfanwy( who works Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but please confirm times with reception). Dr Faye Sinn has left unfortunately
If Dr Myfanwy is not available, find out the names of the available doctors that are on and please check their reviews first before you see them. Do not agree to 'any doctor'.like I did today .
I had forgotten how bad it was . The general standard is shocking, Doctors with absolutely no pride in their work or care for your health. I stick to the same doctors for years once I find someone good, and today was a rude awakening reminding me of past times when I had had more bad experiences than good with random doctors.
-The male doctors I recommend are , Dr Stuart Morris(Mon - Friday) and the Aroney Brothers . The Aroney Brothers though don't take appointments, however Dr Stuart Morris and Dr Myfanwy (female) do take appointments.
-Please everyone post reviews of good doctors so we know who to see.

I called to make an Appointment as per Dr Esra's request. I was on the waiting line for 10 minutes. and then the receptionists pick up and just hang up on me.

Shame on you dr Simon Kerr.
I'm pregnant and he is one of the ONLY GP shared care for pregnant women.

I called up and receptionist told me he was working all day. I came in around 4pm and he refused to take me in. Coz he wanted to finished up for the day.

I came back on the very next day at 2pm. And guess what? he went home early again.

Wow. I traveled all the way here to see him. And he just disappears whenever he feels.

I hope this is passed into him. Shame on you for not honoring the times you work.

Old review - April/May 2021

I highly recommend going here for bulk billing and bulk bill GP.

The receptionist informed me that it will be up to an hour wait. Which I was totally fine with.

I like this place coz its walk in. And no appointment.
So I'm totally happy to wait.

I was prepared with my laptop and worked on stuff. Which is awesome for passing time.

I went on a Sunday.

And I got called out after say 40mins.

Awesome doctor too. So helpful.
I do NOT recommend going here due to the extensive wait time, given we arrived early to our scheduled appointment time.

This place was disappointing and also not the friendliest receptionists x2.

Why make patients call up and book in a time, when the Doctors are not going to honour that scheduled time?

This place should only do walk ins if they will make patients wait over an hour... right?

(Note: I'm happy to wait approx 15 mins from a scheduled time, but nearly 1 hour. That's wrong.)

I understand that a session can go overtime, and that is why they should change their processes, systems, operations.

Management needs to provide a better customer experience.

The receptionists should also avoid booking patients back-to-back, and spread it out.
And allow doctors to properly examine and spend their time with patients during sessions.

The receptionists also have lack of professionalism.
1) one of them answered the phone and you can tell it was a friend of hers. And she was casually swearing and joking.
2) a patient told her she as work and she said the list of people in front of her. But when the dr came out, the receptionist lady put her in front of us and she got called.. She favored a patient over us. Not happy about the receptionists at all.

This practice was listed on Google Ads. And I understand that it is competitive in Bondi Junction, but dont spend money on PPC (pay-per-click) ads to cover up all the negative reviews.

Another note, whoever's is responsible for replying to the negative google reviews, claiming that the patient who wrote the review is incorrect or mistaken for a different practice, honestly... that is the wrong way to handle negative reviews.

Ok I'm done giving business advice to this place.

I hope they show and forward my review to the business manager or director.
