Reviews

I have been seeing Dan Reed for a year and a half and not only has he corrected the issue. I initially came in for but has always been a lot of fun to be around. He and his staff are extremely friendly and helpful and recently Dan took the time to research Nerve damage pain that I was having and explain what additional things I may need to look into. I appreciate his care and concern and highly recommend his services. -Robin

Bella is amazing. Dr Dan’s spirit is infectious and his care is genuine. Mission Chiropractic & Wellness is what a chiropractic office is meant to be! I am
better for their services. Totally recommend.

I am so pleased to have found Mission Chiro in Grandview. Dr. Dan is a humble family man and a great doctor. I was having severe neck pain and stiffness and we took X-rays and I was able to get adjusted that day. I have since been in several times for follow up care and I thoroughly enjoy the staff and ease of each visit. Booking is also easy via an app so I can book in under a minute for services day of or in advance. Office is clean and there are three or four treatment rooms. I also love seeing smiling faces on kiddos when I pass them on their way out of the treatment room! An overall excellent experience from this team!!

Bella and doctor reed have educated me so much on my path to recovery! Thanks for making this a smooth transition for me as I heal !

Came a few months ago basically with no ability to walk due to an accident. Not only am I able to walk now, I went on a Vacation recently and was able to walk 15miles a day. I am very happy with the results.
My improvement is continuous. Cases like mine don’t heal overnight and I’m grateful doctor Reed was available and able to work with me!

Mission Chiropractic and Wellness isn’t just a doctor’s clinic but a home for me. I am always welcomed with love and care by Dr. Dan, Bella and Layla. Best people to be around. And the adjustments are super awesome making me feel good about myself. I can’t thank Dr. Dan and the team enough.

I’ve been receiving treatment by Dr. Dan for over a year, I’ve never missed an appointment. When I first came in, I was misdiagnosed with scoliosis, in constant spasm and pain, had regular headaches and UTI’s, and was completely out of energy at the end of my 8 hour work day (I’m only 30). Instantly after reviewing my X-Rays, Dr. Dan told me I did not have scoliosis and my condition would improve. I did however possess multiple curvatures (including a reverse curve in my neck) and over half of my back was locked up with subluxations. I began feeling the benefits of chiropractic care literally immediately! Now, after sticking with my care routine with him and at home, I rarely have a headache, my spasms have drastically decreased, I have energy to be productive after work, I no longer get UTI’s, I’m more balanced, flexible, and strong, and I’m regaining the curvature in my neck. If you’re struggling with pain or headaches, it’s absolutely worth it to stop in and get adjusted.

Worst customer service experience of my life. I'm extremely ill and came in for a follow up with the doctor as instructed by the ER. The woman at the front desk, Mandy, laughed in my face condecendingly multiple times and generally behaved like a charicature of a high school mean girl. Her behavior was disgusting and frankly she has no business in any position where she interacts withe the public.

was put on hold for 45 minutes for scheduling and then was sent to voicemail. that happened twice even when the phone said “there are no callers ahead of you in line.” also i was sent a $400 bill for an physical exam when the appointment was for an anxiety evaluation (there was no physical exam whatsoever). the school advertises this as a place to get your needs addressed quickly when in reality you would get in quicker at a CVS minute clinic, spend less, and be treated better.

Super comfortable environment filled with some of the most friendly, helpful people I've ever met. Without them I would still be in pain and struggling to do daily activities. it was one of the best decisions I've ever made to make the phone call and book the appointments. Feeling relief on my first adjustment visit was life changing!

So the clinic only operates Tuesdays and Saturdays only?

Updated:
Was lied to that my insurance didn't cover my visit when I knew it did. They actually never sent a claim to my insurance, trying to get me to pay over a hundred dollars for something that is covered for me. Told by my insurance, in my unlucky case, that they needed the clinic to call them to authorize the claim filing. Clinic I visited couldn't do anything. Call and support center only take inbound calls and cannot call my insurance. Apparently, I'm not the only one who has to pay over a hundred dollars for something that my insurance should have been able to help. And for a cough suppressant that was prescribed after they told me they didn't know what was wrong. On top of all that, the cough suppressants didn't work at all for me. So joy.

I am so grateful for the kindness and care this clinic provides. Got all my labs and medications done here. Thank you!

Just go to urgent care! It’s cheaper & you’ll get better service. Quick appointment but I felt like the nurse practitioner working was annoyed I was there. Diagnosed with an ear infection & was given 6 days worth of an antibiotic. After finishing the antibiotics, I still had an ear infection. I called & asked if they would refill my antibiotic script. (For reference, I am a poor college student with no health insurance. I couldn’t afford another visit)
They told me that the antibiotics should’ve worked & that I just need to take ibuprofen. The NP literally told me “good luck.”
I am sitting at an urgent care as I am typing this, where I paid exceptionally less, was treated better, and diagnosed with an ear & sinus infection. Don’t waste your time or money!

The staff has no medically accurate information (they did not even know that a PCR and RNA are the same thing), and denies COVID tests to individuals needing it for field research, interaction with young children, immunocompromised relatives etc. even to students paid by the university to complete PhD degrees with rigorous requirements. The university has shown a history of having questionable medical practices and people in charge of scheduling at this center need to be fired. If I could give a negative rating and take legal action, I would. Go to a CVS, OSU has subpar practices and its medical professionals treat students like numbers, not humans. Ridiculous and this will be taken up with the President.

I had come in with very bad ear pain and such bad throat pain I could barley swallow She looked in my ears said they were fine said my throat was fine gave me a covid and flue test it came back negative and she told me to get some cold and flue medicine from the Kroger they were located in…. The next morning I woke up scared because I couldn’t swallow and I couldn’t hear and had such bad ear and throat pain I was in tears, I went to urgent care which I should’ve just done in the first place because this place wasted my time the lady at urgent care spent less than ten seconds in my ear and said oh my gosh both ears are severely infected got me meds on the spot. She told me that she didn’t know how the lady at the little clinic missed this because it didn’t happen over night…. It’s scary to think that the nurse at this little clinic use to work at childrens. I would never recommend this place to a soul this was the worst experience I ever had for the simple fact that the nurse DID NOT CARE ENOUGH to correct diagnosis me causing me suffering and stress. I’d rate this place a negative if I could. Absolutely horrible they need new drs who can actually diagnose people

Clean easy access

Not sure why there are so many negative reviews. They answered my call the first time, and were able to give me an appointment only an hour later. I saw a Certified Nurse Practitioner named Kaitlin and she was incredibly kind hearted and knowledgeable. I will definitely be coming here the next time I have a medical need.

I have been instructed by my doctor to get tested for COVID-19 because I am very sick. I scheduled my appointment for 11:20 am. When I arrived I called to check in per the directions on the website. I called to check in at 11:25. They told me to come inside and so I entered the store and walked directly to the desk, assuming they would want to immediately separate me from everyone else as a possible covid risk. There were two people working, a man and a woman. The man, I believe his name tag said "Mike", asked if he can help me and I tell him why I'm there. He asks what time my appointment is and I tell him, to which he loudly responded "well you're 10 minutes late so you need to reschedule" (I wasn't 10 minutes late). The person next in line comments that there's a line ahead of me and "Mike" turns to her and once again raises his voice to say "I know, she just skipped the whole line". I was obviously horrified and embarrassed. I responded " I'm sorry, I didn't think you would want someone with a possible active covid infection just standing in line with all your other patients!" I left and will not be returning.
In summary, the little clinic (at least this location), has very rude staff that openly tries to humiliate their patients. They have apparently no covid precautions in place and expect people with a possible active covid infection to not only come inside the store, but stand in line with all their other patients. I don't think I've ever been so upset with a customer service experience. If I could rate them 0 stars I would.

I attempted to go to another clinic for my daughter's sports physical. That clinic did not even acknowledge we were there. We immediately left and went to The Little Clinic on S. High. They acknowledge that we were even there. They even got us in without an appointment, with little to no wait time. This is definitely my go to, when I can't get my children to their pediatrician.

Easy access, lots of parking, handicapped and accessible for people with canes.

This place helped/saved my life. Amazing staff, everyone truly cares about everyone walking into the doors. It’s about a 1.5 week wait to set up a Telehealth appointment, but it’s worth it.
Great job guys! Thank you for all that you do.

This place leaves me so frustrated almost every time i go there. The availability is awful, it is rare to find an appointment within 3 days of the time you call or schedule online. If you need quick care for non emergencies you are much better going to a minute clinic. Wilce offers little help for students with insurance questions and many workers are rude. I am writing this review after walking back empty handed from their pharmacy my third time in the past week because their hours do not match the ones posted online and my prescription was sent to a different pharmacy even though i told them i wanted it there. The only redeeming quality is the doctors- they are all so sweet, caring and amazing at what they do.

Best clinic for me! They helped me and always been here for me in my worst moments. I would like to thank you guys!

I've never been turned away. They prioritize appointments but make sure to at least sign up and speak to all of the walk ins and allow a few slots and have stand by in case an appointment no shows or cancels. The corporal and mental health services are provided by qualified students and supervised/review by overseeing doctors. All my expieriences have been beyond satisfactory. I can honestly say this place has saved my life more than once.

Called them and was put on hold for 12 minutes then they literally hung up on me
Update: I want to add that I believe they just don’t know how to use their phones, I don’t think they actually intended to hang up. But either way that’s kinda bad considering I was asking about post-covid heart problems 🥴.
Also once I saw the doctor they were super helpful and accommodating! I just can’t believe it took so long and so much effort to actually get in with them. They literally have same day availability but it took 4 weeks of trying to actually get a hold of them during business hours and find someone who could schedule me.

I'm very thankful for the free clinic. They provide a service that not easy to find in other cities. Student doctor providing excellent care under the supervision of their educator's. Your the patient (talk to them), they will help. Why they're OSU BUCKEYES.

I’m really happy with my experience here! They took me seriously and truly listened to my concerns. This has given me access to healthcare that I didn’t have before and I’m grateful for that.

I have had so many negative experiences with this place, it would be impossible to list them all out here. Highlights of these negative experiences include:
- Screaming at me in the middle of the waiting area after I had expressed my concern for being “moved to the bottom of the list” and not told for over an hour and 45 minutes.
- Told I had mono (but not tested for it) and was told to come back in four days and get tested (I did not have mono).
- Worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had anywhere - especially via phone
- They do not care if you struggle understanding the healthcare system, they will yell at you and be frustrated with you anyways.
I absolutely despise going to this place and only go if I absolutely have to now. With all this COVID testing happening, I got selected for surveillance testing and when I called for more information I was treated horribly again. The ladies who answer the phones are AWFUL and I cannot stand to schedule appointments with them.

They are very nice. They take the time to listen. Love them

Ann was so very helpful and sweet. This clinic is the best! They really go above and beyond to help you.

Dr. Panau great physician

I was initially thrilled with my experience but that changed when they wouldn't authorize another refill of my antidepressants while everything was shut down due to COVID-19. I have tried getting in contact with them to no avail. I was able to get my hands on another prescription elsewhere but I am running into the same problem again. I have enough medication for 2 days and then I am stuck going through the withdrawals that come with stopping the meds cold turkey l.

You can take your appointments online if you are student of OSU. Very practical and they offer lots of specialties. It has a friendly staff. Health Center has a free parking if you are patient. Also, it has a pharmacy on the bottom floor.

When do they open for the walking please?

This place is a joke! Completely overlooked a pregnancy, even with a pelvic exam!?!? Thank the heavens my baby is healthy. Blood work, pelvic exams and mammograms yet they were clueless.

Just google your illness. Not helpful, lied about taking my insurance.
During my appointment, this minute clinic told me they would take my insurance, ran it, and even confirmed after I asked them if they accepted it -- this was all before the appointment began.
The professional who looked at me did not know what was going on, and i basically had to give them information based off of things I googled, to which they would respond "yeah, that could be it." The medical professional had to ask another worker who also was uncertain. After about 20 minutes of them looking at me puzzled and poking at my lymph nodes, I left. I did not get a diagnosis and just had my blood pressure/ears checked. I was annoyed at what a waste of time it was when i could be in bed getting better, but at least they said they took my insurance!
Flash forward 2 weeks: I get a charge on my card for $140 (this is in the upper range of their medical services prices listed on their website). I called my insurance provider who said that this minute clinic is outside of their service, which is inconsistent with what the professional told me when she ran my card. Save yourself the trouble and go to another medical professional/urgent care center. This has not been worth the trouble whatsoever. Just take your vitamins and if you want someone to poke your lymph nodes for $140- find a hobby.

The doctors are great, but the nurses are horrible! Each one that I have met expect maybe one has been horrible! Today one was incredibly bossy, demanding, and rushing me out of the center! I dont know who is in charge if hiring the nurses, but they need to re-consider who the hire because none of them have any compassion or manners.

The reception staff is not professional at all. We were there and had an appointment at 6:15 pm. We were there from 5:30 and waited until 8 and they overlooked us. This is really rediculous. Not recommended if your time is precious.

Awesome experience. The guy who took care of my issue showed a lot of care and genuinely seemed knowledgeable and worried about me getting better, including follow up that he highly recommended for me. I got in and out in 30 min. Way better than the other mini-clinic at the other grocery chain

I had a great experience! I walked in after work, had no wait whatsoever. The nurse practitioner was very kind, explained everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions with care! She was also very transparent about the cost of my visit and every procedure she performed. In and out in 30 minutes or less with a diagnosis and prescription.

I just don’t know where to start, but I couldn’t of asked for better care than what I received, HUGE Thank You to CNP Dana for helping me with the burns on my hand. Dana was kind enough to diagnose, prescribe medicine, help pick out gauze and reusable elastic bandage for future use. Dana was also kind enough to show me how to apply the first round of medicine and wrap my hand up. Add to the end of the day it felt like an absolute blessing from God that I went to the Little Clinic and if I ever hear of anybody needing any type of medical assistance I will certainly refer them to a Little Clinic.

Went in October and got a physical and several vaccinations. I asked how much each vaccine would cost after insurance, as money is tight. The practitioner looked at his computer, presumably to see what my insurance would cover and said "Insurance won't cover the physical, but the vaccines are 100% covered." I paid for my physical and went on my way. Now, two months later, just a few days before the holidays I receive a bill for the ENTIRETY of the vaccines. My insurance would not pay a dime. Yes, my insurance company is full of cheap shortcuts, but I WAS WRONGLY TOLD BY A CVS EMPLOYEE MY VACCINES WOULD BE 100% COVERED BY INSURANCE.

The nurse practitioner was extremely rude and arrogant. I had a horrible sinus infection and had mentioned that in the past I had been given a Zpac and a 7 day prednisone pack and it always had helped. She took offense like I was trying to tell her how to do her job. Any idiot could see that I was clearly sick. I would not recommend this clinic and pray that this nurse practitioner learns empathy and compassion instead of the defensive attitude. She brings no value to medicine other than to give antibiotics. Other than that she victimizes the good people who were raised to respect professionals but she treats people less than human. She see’s herself as the elite super nurse and talks condescending to her patients.

I received outstanding care here. For the 1st time in years I felt as if a medical professional was actually concerned about my medical problems. The nurse practitioner reminded me of a small town doctor I used to see years ago. Fast, friendly and knowledgeable 5 stars all the way around.

Had an amazing experience today. Nurse Practitioner Deana was amazing!!! She was the only one there and had to check people in, and treat (it was pretty busy too!). Can't speak highly enough about her. Polite, professional, had a great sense of humor..and treated us so well. Felt very cared for. Would recommend this location to anyone

I didn't have to wait at all after booking an appointment online. Doctor and assistant were nice and attentive. Had had a severe rash for two weeks and prescription worked great from day one, massive improvement after a few days. 90 dollars seemed reasonable. Very happy

Went there to get food and free check ups by kind nurses and Doctors.

i had to give this place a star, but would like to give them a negative rating. terribly disappointed. he was told he had bronchitis and fluid in his ear, yet, no antibiotic. he was told that if he gets worse, go to ER. he went there simply because of being in between jobs and waiting for insurance to start. she gave him nothing to help him. so, $155 later, still no treatment. he was told he had bronchitis! a simple antibiotic would help!
