It has become nearly impossible to get an appointment in a reasonable amount of time. The receptionist will often recommend I go to urgent care but this is not an affordable option. It also shouldn't be the solution to apparent understaffing. I am now forced to find a new doctor, which is really upsetting because I like the doctors here.

Dr. Sandra Lee is the worse Doctor I ever had as my Primary. She doesn’t care about you (the patient) all she cares about is herself. She put me through Hell just to get an Antibiotic. Horrible, NO Stars !

Set an appointment 3 months in advance to get a physical for it to get canceled less than a week prior to the appointment. Only time offered was the next day a day that I was not available for. While asking about that the staff member Lauren asked if I worked with the company with a condescending tone. She did not offer any other days that were open other than the next morning that I was working. Would not recommend would give 0 stars if possible. When this practice was on Bensalem blvd was ran completely different wouldn’t recommend any to come to this branch of Jefferson.

Be VERY careful. I went in for an office visit when I had a cold, and ended up being sent a $430 bill for MULTIPLE unnecessary tests (all negative by the way). YOU SHOULD KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU AGREE TO; they may try to trick you into spending A LOT of money unnecessarily. I’ll never go back.

The entire staff from check-in to check-out and those answering the phones are all very friendly and helpful. They quickly helped with physical forms for employment and provided scripts needed for specialists. Dr. Sandra Lee takes time to explain results and responds quickly to questions in the patient portal.

This place is the worst. No one answers the phone so you'd literally have to walk in to make an appointment which isn't feasible with my work schedule. IF you're somehow able to get through to speak with someone, expect an appointment that's a month out. Not to mention Dr. Commodaro is extremely cocky and rude. He doesn't give you a chance to explain anything and just cuts you off/shuts you down. I'm looking for a new doctor asap.

If you need to speak to your doctor without a visit The doctor will not talk to you. Have nurse Call you . There are a couple of rude I have spoke to so far they are very rude. Not only they go around your question they also hang up on you.

The list of things this practice will not help you with is lengthy. The level of care has dropped in the past two years. I have seen three different doctors since Dr. Dan left and was treated carelessly and spoken down to. My very last visit I thought I was going in for an annual but because it was not scheduled as an annual I was told I would have to reschedule and come back. Also was told they don’t “handle complaints” during annuals. Meaning any medical concerns the patient may have. What in the ??? I had to wait three months just to get that appointment. Conveniently the office manager had “just stepped out” when I attempted to speak to her. So instead of rescheduling I will be leaving the practice.

Just transfered my care to this office dr Heller was awesome very attentive and caring,and office staff very friendly.

This place is the worst. Been a patient for a while and the office staff is always so rude. I called recently to make an appointment and they had limited availability. I asked for a day that I had off they said they could make an exception for the morning. Then told me I never had an appointment. Anytime I call they are horribly rude to me, constant miscommunication. Doctor Heller never actually listens to me, only cuts me off and throws medicine at me. But when I inquire about specific medicines or ask questions he dismisses me. This place is so awful.

Dr Martino is the only Dr I can trust. All the others I don't like. Dr Martino is caring She takes the time to explain what's going on.

Amazing office and staff! Put the patients needs first and are willing to go above and beyond. Highly recommend

I've been going to BMP for years. Joanne and the girls behind the desk are like family. Joanne knows me and my history and is always on top of my care!

Im currently in a neuropathic pain spiral and I’m writing this because Im so thankful for all that bmp does for me… I really needed dire help right now. I’m 45 and I’ve been a patient at bmp since I was 8yrs old. I saw Dr. Morris for many years, then switched to Amy. I don’t even know where to begin. Amy has “saved my life”…many times. To me, this means helping me get out of pain that is unbearable and chronic. She takes me seriously and knows I know my body. I’m a complicated patient with facial nerve disorders, fibromyalgia, interstitial cystitis, endo with an eventual
Hysterectomy. Chronic pain is my curse. She is an amazing practitioner. You will be in very competent and compassionate hands with Amy. Her years of experience at bmp and willingness to go the extra mile is endless. I know she has “seen it all” over the years…but she is never jaded about her job or dismissive. I also have a Bipolar 2 diagnosis and she never judges the fact that I am very sensitive emotionally and physically. She will do everything she can to get you the care you deserve. I’d be amiss if I did not mention Tina at the front desk. This is a very busy office. If you want the warm and fuzzies from the front desk, you may not get it here. Sometimes it’s hard to get through on the phone, but trust me…it’s worth it. Tina has been there for as long as I can remember. Any time I need anything…referrals, pre-authorizations, prescriptions…you name it…she’s on it. Fast. She really is the backbone of the practice. No doubt. I have never experienced somebody who is so quick to understand the complicated ins and outs of insurance. She is a master.
Your wait time may run long…you may be frustrated in the office, but a little patience will definitely get you what you need. EXTREME gratitude for Amy, Tina, and everybody at BMP. Your hard work and dedication has really kept me functioning as a human in a world that has no patience for sick people.

The customer service and professionalism here is alarming. The girls behind the desk are talking loudly, Dr. Heller is RUDE and there is a serious lack of communication at this office. Do NOT go here.

Bensalem medical is amazing. I couldn’t be happier there. Joanne took time to explain to me about all my blood results. She also went over a long term plan with my health. This was my first visit and it felt like I been going there for years. I didn’t get treated like a patient I was treated like family.

After being at this practice for years having Dr. Martino as my Doctor.... this place has gone down horribly. Dr. Patel is my primary now and I have no complaints with her care. She Is sweet and very helpful. It's the OFFICE STAFF that are rude and very ignorant. Most recent, I was told I had to wait 3 weeks to be seen by my primary doctor. Now when I finally went to my appointment to address some concerns, Jackie.. a medical assistant (who was very rude and unprofessional) that I can only tell my doctor 2 health problems for this visit. I didn't wait three weeks to only talk about two things...
There was many more stressful encounters that I endured with this office staff. But, they are unprofessional and give an attitude when you request for something

Ever since they changed doctors, the place has gone DOWN HILL. I’m currently sick, I feel unheard and not cared about. This is the second time I’ve tried to make an appointment to be SEEN and they fail to put me on the schedule for an in office visit. Never coming back. And I hope no one chooses this office. It’s a waste of time and not trustworthy.

Dr. Patel is a real super star doctor. She is very compassionate and knowledgeable. I really feel like I’m taken care of when I go to see her. The nurses here are great! I have a fear of needles and they made me feel as comfortable as possible.

Something professional must be done at Bensalem Medical Practice!! So much, good and nice doctors!! But unprofessional staff and nurse!! Tina is the most unprofessional medical personnel I have ever met!! Eight(8) out of ten(10) patients have the same problem with her!!! I am a patient for the pass twenty (20) years!! I had enough!! Time for her to go!! Bring back Shila!!

My family and I have been going to this doctors office for years so it is very unfortunate that I feel the need to do this. I LOVE Joanne and Amy...both are great doctors and very helpful! I’m leaving this review for the woman at the front desk that returns phone calls/confirms appointments. She has an attitude every time I speak with her and I feel like an inconvenience to her over something as simple as a refill. I felt like I received another attitude today when I asked a simple question so I did confront her. I Told her I do not appreciate the attitude and instead of an apology she denies it and says “I’m not going to argue with you”. I did make a complaint to the manager, she was very nice but tried to explain protocols like it was an excuse for the attitude. I did tell her I completely understand protocols and policies but it can all be done without an attitude! This is not the first time I have been unhappy after speaking with her so having a lot on her plate with covid cased is not an acceptable reason. Patients calling about heath care do NOT want to be greeted by miserable people, they want to be greeted by happy people! After reading other reviews I can see that I’m not the only one so hopefully this issue will be corrected at some point because the doctors are absolutely great!

Probably one of the worst medical offices of which I've been a patient. The staff does not care about their patients. The receptionists or insurance clerks are terrible. They give attitude when offices are approaching closing times. If they do not like working with patients, maybe they're in the wrong field. When I requested a prescription to be faxed, they quickly rushed me off of the phone just so they can leave promptly. I really hope the manager of the administrative staff really cleans out shop. If the manager created that environment, Jefferson Health needs to take a close look at this office. I've been a patient at this medical office for 15-20 years and after that encounter, I'll be looking to move from here. In all of my years here, I've never received this kind of treatment. Do yourself and favor and look for a different medical office.

I’ve been a patient here for about 4 years now. I absolutely love the staff and how efficient and friendly they are. My doctor is Dr Minkovich, she is really sweet and truly cares about her patients.

Dr. Commodaro is beyond words. He listens, cares and spends time whether on the phone or at an office visit. He is ALWAYS right on the money with whatever issue I am having. His knowledge is astounding! I would never, ever have faith in another physician like I do with him!

Dr Jennifer Minkovich on Bristol Pike, fabulous physician, caring and spends time with her patients listening and thoroughly examining their problems.

Earth Angel Dr Commondaro. Always Listens and bed side manor is top notch. Saved my life by finding an aneurysm that wasn’t giving normal signs of having one. The best doctor in Bensalem.

The office and doctors are great once you are there. They never answer the phone when they are supposed to be open and do not have much availability for appointments. I have on more than 1 occasion had to drive to the office just to make an appointment for later in the day.

Had an appointment at 830 told the lady I just got done doing a 12 hr shift and was to tired to drive to the appointment and wanted to reschedule.. she tells me their policy is that if it’s your first appointment ever being there I would have to find a new doctors office how rude and disrespectful couldn’t work anything out didn’t even mention that that was their policy when I first made the appointment I mean what doctors office tells a patient that they need to find a new doctor because they were to tired to drive after a 12 hour shift

Joann Is definitely the best practitioner at Bensalem Medical ... I recommend her to everyone I know from friends to family, I have grown up here ... moved 2 hrs away and commuted to stay within this practice. I am very happy to live back down here as there is no commute however, she is definitely worth it and I would do it again if I had to. I will only see Joann and will continue my care with Joann as I have a fear of seeing anyone else. She has been the best to me and my family. She takes the time to get to know you, be there for you and makes sure you have the best treatment. I highly recommend her to everyone and anyone!!!

I've been going here over 20 years. I knew it wasn't the greatest but I'm definitely done after my most recent call to their office. I'm a healthy 34 year old so I'm not in their office frequently. I hadn't been in for 2 years luckily but when I recently called for an ear/throat infection they said they'd call in some RXs since they had no available appointments this week. They called right before closing and said they aren't calling in the RXs and said to go to Urgent Care. I made clear I didn't want to go to Urgent Care that's why I have a doctor and of course they didn't care to hear that. I've never asked for anything outta the norm from them. They think because you haven't been sick enough to call the past 2 years you're not worth their time. I've already started searching for a new doctor. Plenty of other negative stories but this was the most insulting one. Joanne is great and there isn't much else good about this office. She should find a real office that cares about their patients.
