I have been associated with Hawthorn for more than ten years now and I am impressed by the school's commitment to growth as a community. Students and staff come and go but the spirit remains and seems to permeate the classrooms and activities in a perennial fashion. It is a positive spirit that is open to improvement and open to all kinds of people.
I love this school.
It has become a family with friends for life and endless wholesome activities and events. It' s my 2nd home.

We transferred to Northmount last year right after March Break, and the difference is amazing. Our son is confident, is getting great marks, teachers take their time to make sure the subject is crystal clear and understood, and outside of the schooling they are also brought up with values such as Responsibility, Accountability, Self Control, etc....

This school changed my life I went from apps to a pluses everybody’s very nice there’s a very nice teacher call Miss Perez all of the teachers there are very nice and I would totally recommend the school Crestwood over UCC
Crestwood Lower School was a tremendous place for our son to learn and grow. The staff and environment are very welcoming and they inspired a keen desire for learning in our boy. I would highly recommend Crestwood Lower School.
Both my daughters attend Hawthorn School for Girls, and I am grateful for this special learning environment. Student centred learning, along with authentic character development, has allowed both my girls to make positive relationships and build their self esteem . This remarkable school supports each student through kindness, understanding and community. The teachers , staff and administration are generous and dedicated people who focus on learning, family and conviction.

I had a very bad experience with the receptionist when I was following up on my call to arrange a school tour for JK & SK. After I left my initial message with a receptionist, no one tried to contact me for 3 business days. When I called again, the entire time the receptionist was talking down to me. She told me that my kids may not even get in as they do written assessment for all grades and that I should probably just go to another school. I'm surprised that any good school would keep a receptionist that is so unprofessional and allow this kind of behaviour. I've never seen such awful service at any private school I visited.
EDIT: Vice Principal, Yana, called me after reading my review and apologized, offering to come see the school. She was very polite. Unfortunately, I just don't feel safe with my kids going to a school where this kind of behaviour is tolerated. After reading some of other reviews, I can see I was not the first to have this experience and seems that nothing is being done to correct it.

It is amazing to see how in a short period of time, last year in March, you have managed to bring the whole school online, so students can continue learning. Our son transferred to Northmount this year from another school. Despite COVID-19 protocols and restrictions, this school has surpassed our expectations in every way. The curriculum is structured, organized and the parents are kept appraised on what is going on all the time. through detailed communications on Edsby. In addition to the rigorous academic standards, art, phys-ed and music teaching is of high quality. The teachers and the principal are palpably invested in the school and the character building of the boys. The parent community is warm and welcoming.
I took my first course at Victoria back in 2008! And 12 years later, I am taking "Online Marketing" course taught by Oliver Gu. I got my money worth the first day literally.

Victoria Education provides lots of training sessions for over 20 years. Now they have entrepreneur college to help Canadian entrepreneurs to start and develop their business. I attended several courses, and feel they are tremendously helpful! For example, Jenny’s online marketing course offers a lot of practical skills to use the social media and video advertising to help promote business growth. Very helpful!
I have known Maria Sun, the founder of Victoria College for 12 years, she is such a dedicated person to education, she and her school have helped so many new immigrants to better settle down and get success in Canada. I have learned many of the courses Victoria College provides and they are so helpful!
I was blown away with Victoria International College. The atmosphere was lively, exciting, and very inviting. The facilities are very clean and tidy. Teachers there are always willing to help you with any questions or concerns that you might have. They were patient, kind, and most importantly, humble. I'm very glad to have chosen to learn at this place, and would definitely recommend people to come here.

Prestige Private School has a good reputation for sports and student support. It's private elementary school is recognized for its longstanding commitment to academic rig our and excellence in a small, nurturing environment – but that’s just the beginning. All the teachers a close-knit community that celebrates creativity, diversity, and innovation, where all the students, learn, and grow together under one roof, like a real good friends. Private high school here also is one of the best in Toronto and even all over GTA. My nephew got here an excellent education in a warm, collaborative environment. He is highly appreciate the way Prestige Private School cares about each student and the friendly environment between teachers and students here. I would highly recommend this private school for your children!
I am so happy I found this school. I was looking for a preschool for my son and stumbled upon Hawthorn after weeks of touring other schools. From the moment I walked through the doors, all the staff and teachers made us feel welcomed. Everyone was so friendly and kind. My son immediately fell in love with the teacher and school.

There was no question in my mind she would continue with Hawthorn and is currently attending kindergarten and loves her teachers and all her friends at school.

All they care about is your money, they would literally do anything to lure you to pay for their courses. Once you make the payment, their attitude turns 180. I took their SQL fundamental online course in Montreal and was so disappointed by their lack of course planning and irresponsible attitude towards students. The teacher was ok, but the management and teaching assistance team is completely useless! They get paid for doing nothing! Avoid this terrible company, save your money and time to obtain real knowledge!
As a student who has been here for all my life I can proudly say that this is a wonderful experience. I still have 1 year to go and I have not had a single problem. There is a very nice atmosphere around the school and all teachers do their jobs extremely well. The curriculum is 1 grade ahead for elementary and all students learned better than in public schools. The high school curriculum meets or exceeds expectations. All of this I can say from first-hand experience. I recommend Prestige School to anyone looking for a good, affordable, safe, and fun school to learn in.
Our son joined Hawthorn’s daycare when he was 2 and he’s almost 4 now. I must say that his time there has really helped him develop academic and social skills. He’s loved his teachers and staff since day 1. Coming from being home with mom, teachers and staff have been extremely warm and caring in making every transition a breeze for him; even a simple switch from toddler to Pre-school. I highly recommend the daycare to parents looking for a structured and academic-oriented option.
My years at Hawthorn were transformational in so many ways. It was here I truly found the love of learning. School wasn't just about memorization and marks - it was a place of discussion, reflection, and making connections. The teachers, students and staff created an environment where every student felt safe, loved and confident. There were so many opportunities to participate in sports and extracurricular activities so each girl was not only intelligent but also well-rounded.
My daughter started at Hawthorn this year and already loves it there. I couldn't be happier for her. I am so grateful that our family will once again be involved in the school and reap its beautiful blessings.

Hawthorn is a wonderful school and daycare, the teachers, ECEs and all the staff are amazing, kind and loving and they truly strive to make sure every aspect of the school is taken are of for the well being of the students; a thorough academic curriculum, healthy meals, clean, well maintained facilities, and the list goes on. We have nothing but great comments about Hawthorn and highly recommend it both as a daycare and as a school.
My son started Grade 11 at AVRO. His academic skills improved considerably more in one term (two months) at AVRO than they did in a year in a public school gifted program. If I could give 10 stars, I would! The teachers and staff are wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable. I had my doubts at the beginning but all those doubts are gone. I have nothing but great things to say about AVRO.
AVRO Academy is one of the best decisions we could have made for our Son. Our Son has Tourette’s Syndrome and for years he has faced challenges in the traditional school system. At AVRO Academy, the entire team has made him feel welcome as they worked with his individual needs. During this past year at AVRO, he has been more successful than he has been in the previous 3 elsewhere. As a team, AVRO has demonstrated patience and perseverance to help with his success. I love how they challenged him in the unique ways he required to re-build his confidence. Also, a special shout out to David the Principle, Liam’s teachers Jason, Efrat, and Ben…as well as to Shannon in administration for always being available and keeping the lines of communication open.

Our daughter has been at Prestige for 4 years. Wonderful teachers and administration. Special emphasis is placed on the school atmosphere. I especially appreciate the elaborate school musical plays that are put together several times each year by the teachers and students. High level is placed on education with emphasis on math. Also very happy that lunch is always a healthy, hot and balanced meal that is fresh and brought in daily from a Russian restaurant. Over all great job.

An incredibly amazing school that focuses not only in the academic excellence but also in the character shaping of boys. In tangible ways, we see the difference how the teachers bring out the best in our boys. And what's more, there is a unique partnership with parents when it comes to the educational upbringing. Good moral values, virtues and kindness are reminded daily, lived and practiced. A dynamic community that one will just be proud to be a part of, as I am.
This is a fantastic school for boys, with very engaged management, teachers and staff, strong spirit of excellence in academics and character development, and practice of the Catholic faith in a very natural way. I am able to say this from experience as a proud parent of the school.
My son is graduating this year after five years at this hidden gem. He will leave this wonderful establishment fully prepared for any future challenges. We are sad to leave as a family but we are happy to leave a spot for a new family to experience the joy of being a Northmount family!
I've done 5 highschool courses (4 maths and physics 12) there so far it's it's been great. I did everything at the location on major mac. Gregory the current math and physics teacher is very knowledgeable and is actually quite fun to talk to. Prestige school is far better then the highly recommend discovery academy as you actually learn. My only complaint would be the very thin walls.

My daughters just finished their first year in Hawthorn's Lower School and will be attending next year, too. The attention students get from their teachers is excellent, personalized and effective. It is as if they are teachers and tutors all-in-one, and parents are kept in the loop as to the progress and challenges their children have. This school helps bring out talents and skills that could be neglected, addressing virtually all areas of their development. Girls are prepared for life, not just passing the next test. Parents are recognized as first educators of their children and school and parents work as a team.

I am proud parent of a student in a private school in Toronto. I am glad to look back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers of the Prestige School, a top private school located at the 44 Appian Drive, Toronto, M2J 2P9. I sent my son there and would like to express my sincerest gratitude to those who touched our human feelings. The curriculum is so much necessary raw materials but warmth is the vital elements for the growing plant and for the soul of a child.
