The bronze depictions of the annunciation, nativity, baptism of Jesus, last supper and crucifixion are absolutely stunning.
Everyone that works here have been such great people to deal with. Very friendly and open to all comers.
We give money all the time. Water the trees . If it costs more this extra hot year, then pay your water bill before other upgrades. The shade trees are dying of thirst out on your land. You already don't have enough shady places to park and now you are killing the few trees on the property.
Dress code should be considered more in my opinion. Mass is always so insightful. Time to reflect and having a clear head and open heart are required. Shame ppl feel like they need to dress up like if it’s a club
The church is super friendly and welcoming. The gospel choir fantastic at 11 o'clock mass.
At 8am mass, traditional Latin hymns were sung. Free parking is available in the dirt lot next door - get a parking pass and place it on your car's dashboard.
Traditional atmosphere and devoted faithful in attendance.
Excellent church. Very reverend parishioners and fantastic priests.
The priest was a joy. Small Saturday evening crowd, and they were so friendly. The music was uplifting
I usually visit here at least once on my Vegas visits for a daily mass. Great church and community.
Beautiful church and it was the perfect place to surprise her when I got on one knee. By the way… Marriage license is around the corner
I'm still stunned by the peace and holiness of this Church in Downtown Las Vegas. Jesus! All I can say is don't miss an opportunity to go to Mass in this reverent Church!
We were supposed to hear mass here but we got the schedules wrong. Nonetheless, we stayed a while to admire the various statues and art work in this lovely church. I must say the one that really stood out was the Last Supper sculpture.
Congregation is warm , diverse, and caring! I enjoy the services!
What else is there to say that hasn't been said. It's the prettiest church in Las Vegas with some of the most welcoming people you'll ever meet and a Priest that exudes humility and grace while being extremely intelligent and personable. If you want something traditional or are curious about the Eastern Liturgy, come visit. It is worth at the least a visit.
I've attended the Divine Liturgy a handful of times here. Fr. Nathan's homilies cut straight to the heart, and everybody is welcoming. I can't wait to return.
Amazing gospel choir at the 11 o'clock service. Everyone is so welcoming. So grateful to find such a great parish.

Absolutely beautiful! I loved visiting this church and the byzantine mass. Very worth coming to.
The priest is very sincere and kind during confessions, I felt much better talking to him.
May God have Mercy of all the people especially the people of Las Vegas the city of sin.

Beautiful building
Good service
Friendly people
I enjoy the feeling I get when visiting the Archdiocese. The education I receive in the classes I take is very valuable. I better understand the faith and my place in the Church. I feel comfortable at the offices of the Archdiocese and feel.very welcomed. Great staff and excellent conditions to better support and serve the parishioners of the Archdiocese of Las Vegas.
The Most Exquisite spiritual experience with a priest who rocks! If you are looking for Original Christianity, Friendliness and a Priest who is both knowledgeable and kind, this is the spot
What a fantastic Parish. The Holy Spirit is here. Thanks Be To GOD.
Whenever we stay near the Fremont Street Experience we always come to this local church just about half a mile away! A short 10 minute walk! The church is very pretty and it is a small one. But we have never been disappointed with the services here! So next time you are in Sin City at the Fremont Street Experience area and it's a Sunday make sure and go attend Mass here!
Attended 2 masses over the Christmas weekend, audio was best along the side, very beautiful Church, friendly parishioners.
This has been my primary catholic church since moving to Vegas back in 02. Love it. I've had all my kids baptized here and had their sacraments done here as well. Services are always great and I enjoy the traditional catholic songs sung during masses.
Conveniently located next to the Strip if you feel like hearing mass or just contemplating on the excesses you’ve been doing lately. It’s a short drive from MGM Grand, Planet Hollywood, or the Marriott’s Grand Chateau. Lots of parking spaces for those who arrive by car. Mass services are offered in English and Spanish, you have to check the schedule. Whenever I’m visiting family in Vegas, I am dragged by my sister to attend mass which is just a 30 minute service. The church is clean, spacious, and well-lit. We’re going back again before leaving the state for blessings.
I am new to this area; I really like going to Mass here! The people are very friendly n cordial!
I love the entrance it is inviting! Thx u 😘 💓 💗
If you want to experience a touch of Heaven on earth, this is the place to worship. Father Nathan is also a gifted preacher. His homily was culturally relevant and practical. Glory to Jesus Christ! Glory forever!
Very beautiful, holy place... very good staffs and clean church and surroundings.
Everyone at this church is devout, kind-hearted, and genuine! The priest is beyond knowledgeable, and he didn't only preach but also teach much of the congregation. It is a beautiful church with symbolic artworks adorning the walls and ceiling. The interior trim is gilded beautifully, and holy relics are handled with care and honor. Latin is used, and to put it in terms of using modern rhetoric, this church is truly "old school." You will be met with traditions rarely seen anymore, and it is a cherished experience!
Love this place coz all the songs are in Tagalog besides lots of Filipinos are going there to hear mass ...
Looking for something different. Found this church when I was in LV and it’s an old church. Traditional church that some church goers still wears veil. I like the church and the mass was solemn the day I attended the mass. Simple and clean church, even it’s an old one. 🙏🏻
My son and I came today for the first time. Absolutely loved ot definitely want to make this our church and get fully involved in anything we can. Service was beautiful.
Love St. V... one of the best Catholic churches in the Las Vegas area! Great mass hours, good confession times. A must see for a true Catholic.
One of the youth teachers likes touching kids so this church is a bad idea if you have kids.
I don’t understand how you can get calls and even read the reviews yourself that you clearly have an issue in the office & the church is not willing to fix. The church is great itself yes, however the office? You can ask for someone else they are all rude. Unprofessional, they do not know how to talk. They will talk over you insisting they are right. It’s very sad for a good Catholic Church to go down for the people in the office. Please fix it, God bless you and the women up front in the office. They truly need it for the way they treat the people at the church.
If it’s one Catholic church in Las Vegas that’s got them all beat on its church in terms of gorgeousness — the inside and outside — it’s St. Viator.

And if it is a mass, communion, penance, or state of grace after mass you need, it’s that, too. The most gorgeous, statuesque, that will not only bless your eyes with its beauty, pageantry and tradition, but can bless your soul.

I was baptized at St. Viator when I was a mere infant, and I did catechism as a child. Many memories. It is my lifelong, holy-grail church that I will always cherish and go to. Born here and have lived a a few mins walk from my childhood home, luckily where I still live. Growing up with St. Viator was a blessing. And of course, the beauty of it on the outside. The beauty of it from the inside: upon entrance, holy water upon entry for Ann ointment. Immaculate, decorative and elegant. Hard to pick a favorite part of the essence of the interior. But if I did, and the weather’s perfect, it’s how the sunlight filters through the windows on a crystal clear day. It filters through the windows and spills in, emitting itself onto the entirely of church. Ambitious sun beams filter through the colored-glass, sending in pops of color. Its breathtaking every time I see it.

Really special place.
Easter Sunday in Las Vegas!
Who Knew?? Not me!!
Beautiful Roman Catholic Shrine🙏✝️. About 3 times the size of my parish back home. Absolutely Breathtaking. Amen

I love going to mass here with my family. The choir is great, there is one man who sounds just like Elvis so my brothers and I love it when he is there. Father Steve is the best and everyone here makes us feel welcome.
Super blessed to find this place! Everyone was friendly. We have some experience with the Byzantine Divine Liturgy. But, it was nice to have a greeter help us out with how everything goes.
This church is the most welcoming church I've ever been too. I haven't been to other churches that have such an established community and that will accept you into the family. Try 11 am Mass for the wonderful Gospel Choir. Or to 8am Mass for easy parking xD.
We were doing an asylum workshop for Cuban asylum seekers
Nice place and atmosphere for Sunday mass.
I'm born and raised here in Las Vegas Nevada I went to St Joseph's and Bishop Gorman... This church is awesome to say the least, the way it's built the stained glass it's truly beautiful! And right by the Las Vegas strip, come on man it's perfect just as God intended it to be!!!
Celebrating at St. James Roman Catholic Church
19th Annual Gospel Jazz Brunch. Members are welcoming to us new comers. A Very JoyFull afternoon.
I love this church. The priests are so nice.
They have armed guards and cameras to protect the parking lot. They're definitely hiding something BIG and illegal. They chase our kids away as well as the homeless they are not a helpful God abiding church they're hiding things
Stunning intimate spiritual experience. Beautiful church. Unique architecture. Everything about it and mass services were the best Catholic Church visit I have had in Las Vegas this far. After 5 years, and visiting many churches of various denominations, definitely a memorable one. I will be back.
I don't know why I decided to give this church a second chance, the two ladies at the front office made me cry in front of my children. They had no empathy and seem not to care at all. I took the day off to go register to baptize my baby. They were so rude to me, I recently baptized here because my friend wanted too and I gave it a second chance. They didn't ask me for no requirements, they only asked me for the class certificate. And now that I wanted to baptize my own child 2 weeks later they asked me for all kids of things. And said they changed the rules right when I told them I baptized 2 weeks ago. I noticed they choose and pick who they want to brake the rules for. They kicked me out of God's house, they said I didn't have to be catholic if I didn't agree to the requirements. They two ladies were arguing and so rude to me. Please avoid this place, they are not good people here, they shouldn't work at the church. I have let all my family/friends know to avoid this church and I have notified all social media/news about them. I would honestly stay away from this church! They are so mean, I don’t know how I came back when they kicked me out with my son the first time.

Responding father to your reply-

I don’t recommend this church for the kind of staff you have working at the front office that handles baptism questions and paperwork. Not everyone is bad there, but I have not been lucky to meet nice people at this church. I wouldn’t dare to lie about my comment father. I am highly suggesting for others to avoid this church by going to another church that is welcoming and treats people with respect and not make you feel that you are not welcomed in God’s house! These man made rules are definitely something that don’t require our faith to be proven for our children to be baptized! And yes this church breaks rules! I have a lot to backup my statement here. I just baptized my friend’s baby here and at no point I was required to show any type of paperwork. Your front office ladies can tell you their side of the story but trust me when I say you have pure evil working there. No need to speak to anyone at this church. I have found a church that has welcomed me and my family. I don’t need to hear false information from this church and be treated the way I was treated again by your two ladies at the front office. You can clearly see all the bad reviews from these ladies but they are still working at this church. I can definitely provide you with the proof on how those ladies break rules and choose who they want to request documents from. With all respect father you will clearly see I’m not the problem posting fake news here. Review the reviews and you will see who clearly is making this church look bad. Have a blessed day father.

Went to mass on Easter Sunday. It was crowded but a good service. Nothing too special to say. Honestly, I was disappointed in the retired priest’s sermon.
Beautiful parish. The beauty of this parish is breath taking. So many awesome statues on the outside grounds. Also inside several prayer areas. Cute little gift shop open after Mass. Bring a sweater they keep the AC going strong! Adoration available as well. I was so grateful for a 1210 Daily Mass.
Great church, horrible church representatives ever! The front lady is the worst👎 she is very ride and sad part is that here on the reviews they say "I'm sorry you feel that way, what can I do to help? " yet they don't change the people in the office, I've since her in the office since 2008 and she has always been that rude. To make things worse, they are the ones responding to the reviews lol so that is why nothing gets done! Wow
I love it 😀 people friendly and close to my house 🏠
Absolutely beautiful as several stories from the Bible are in 3D, projecting out. People very friendly and a nice priest. The gift shop is good. It is right off the LV strip, across from MGM Grand hotel and casino.
I need a priest to talk to I need a extroism done
So honored and privileged to attend service at St. James. Beautiful and welcoming church. Made me feel like I was home. If we do relocate this will be my home church for sure...
the church itself is beautiful and a blessing. but the people you have to deal with there are so rude and give the church a bad rep. they don't care about you and make it very obvious all they care about is money money money such a shame what they have turned the Catholic Church to. the two ladies at the office are the worse to deal with.
I will be attending this parish while I stay in Henderson its worth the drive. Joan of Arc was an amazing woman I cant wait for Wed 630pm mass.
Shameful! When we need the sacraments the most we are deprived.
This church is very nice and very spacious. Although there are lots of seats and space, almost all of them get filled up pretty quickly and some people have to stand. I would recommend adding an extract place were people can sit or do something else that can solve the problem. The bathrooms were nice and tidy and the orchestra was good. The father talked loud and clear and that’s a big thing in churches. I go here every once in a while and I really like it l.
One of the best churches in Las Vegas, it has that European feel to it, and is really old design looking on the inside, just brings me back to Austria or Slovakia. Love this church been going there since 1990. Any that is catchlic should go see it at least once.
Dont judge a church by its sinners......judge a church by its SAINTS!!!
Love the service and the feeling of peace.
Definitely a beautiful church to visit and attend. The youth choir has very energetic sound and uses a mix of traditional and current Christian music in the services. Acoustically balanced rhythmic accompaniment delights the ear raising the level of worship in one's heart mind and soul!
Found this very beautiful church when my family, and I, moved to Vegas in 1999. It feels like a real Church! My personal opinion is that a lot of Catholic Churches that are being built now are too Modern, plus they have bands that play with loud electric guitars and drums that is totally not the same music I grew up listening to. Old school amazing choirs and heartfelt music. My husband, and I, renewed our Wedding Vows for our 30th anniversary!
Lovely and peacefull place to pray English and Spanish and always support the community
Wonderful church
I can feel my soul praising God when I attend the Sunday mass in this church. I can feel the presence of God in here.
