This has been my primary catholic church since moving to Vegas back in 02. Love it. I've had all my kids baptized here and had their sacraments done here as well. Services are always great and I enjoy the traditional catholic songs sung during masses.

Love St. V... one of the best Catholic churches in the Las Vegas area! Great mass hours, good confession times. A must see for a true Catholic.

One of the youth teachers likes touching kids so this church is a bad idea if you have kids.

If it’s one Catholic church in Las Vegas that’s got them all beat on its church in terms of gorgeousness — the inside and outside — it’s St. Viator.

And if it is a mass, communion, penance, or state of grace after mass you need, it’s that, too. The most gorgeous, statuesque, that will not only bless your eyes with its beauty, pageantry and tradition, but can bless your soul.

I was baptized at St. Viator when I was a mere infant, and I did catechism as a child. Many memories. It is my lifelong, holy-grail church that I will always cherish and go to. Born here and have lived a a few mins walk from my childhood home, luckily where I still live. Growing up with St. Viator was a blessing. And of course, the beauty of it on the outside. The beauty of it from the inside: upon entrance, holy water upon entry for Ann ointment. Immaculate, decorative and elegant. Hard to pick a favorite part of the essence of the interior. But if I did, and the weather’s perfect, it’s how the sunlight filters through the windows on a crystal clear day. It filters through the windows and spills in, emitting itself onto the entirely of church. Ambitious sun beams filter through the colored-glass, sending in pops of color. Its breathtaking every time I see it.

Really special place.

Went to mass on Easter Sunday. It was crowded but a good service. Nothing too special to say. Honestly, I was disappointed in the retired priest’s sermon.
