This local Neighborhood Walmart is nice and convenient since it close to my home. The employees are nice, everything us usually stocked pretty well and its clean. Its great for when all you need is groceries and not looking to deal with the craziness of a super Walmart. The check out sometimes has lines but they are usually quick and efficient.
Manager is very nice, but was paying well over $300 for a space there & happened to see an ad - $96 for same size space. Pretty drastic difference. Would've been helpful to have offered a special price to me or another 13 year renter there.
My favorite stores are 🌈 Rainbows and Ross. I never have a problem
Admittedly, this is a beautiful space that COULD house several merchants, but unfortunately as someone said... It is severely underused. There aren't many vendors here. I'd go on limb and bet the required rent is astonishingly high; deterring more merchants from renting here. It's unfortunate because it could enhance the area and help local shops thrive.
Walked through last night...there's quite an eclectic group of vendors and a mix of things being offered. Not sure much of it appealed to me. But there was a cute smore vendor that looked tasty with some unique boutique smores offering.
Selden Market is a cute concept and it goes through iterations where it's fabulous and times where walking through is kind'a boring.
Sometimes it's loaded with goodies and new vendors and cool items - but there is a lot of turnover here.

Lot of potential here, but under used and under shopped. Went for a few hours during/after "lunch time" on a Tuesday afternoon and we only saw one other person other than the workers at the shops. To be fair, most all of waterside Norfolk was the same. I'm not sure if it was an off day or what, but I feel bad for the merchants forced to survive with no income. There was a leather shop with some high quality items and they can even do custom items. A very cute French cafe with a small selection of macarons and a tasteful sitting area. And I think those were the only places open. Most of the stores sit empty, and the rest were closed. There are 2 restaurants at each end, and an entrance to the public library. Parking is in nearby garage. Building itself is clean and bright. Handicap accessible. Hoping for continued growth and support.

They cut the lunch specials in half and pay the same price been here twice figured that it would be better but the outcome was the say wouldn't recommend

All new Planet fitness I love it its never packed. Hopefully it stays like that. I'm thinking alot of people haven't seen it yet though. You should clean before and after your workout because people don't clean them good.
Very clean neighborhood Walmart market. Easy to shop here. People are friendly. No homeless people hanging around.

Very nice mall
This used to be the spot for shopping for locals. It had kinda died down but it's coming back now. Ross is there and I believe they are really helping.
Food Lion is nice here. Several places to eat. Great bar in this shopping center also.
It still needs some work, but it's slowly getting better. With the addition of ROSS, I can see this area becoming more active, I just hope there's more police presence in the area for the business's sake as well as the shoppers.
Excellent store, clean and always well stocked! Friendly staff and not the normal rude customers of Walmart down the street!

I like Food Lion, prices are high here but compared to Wal-Mart, you can find bargains, and compared to Harris Teeter it's so much better because They don't have the big jar of Kraft mayo for the same price as the small and neither are on sale, Food Lion has some good fresh meats and nice produce.
Not the best in and out for parking, so be careful. Good variety of shops. Decent amount of parking for a busy city lot
Prices online and in store are different. Customer service was not helpful. They must have been having a bad day in the store because not anybody was friendly. I'm not sure I will be using this as one of my regular stores. The store looks nice but that's it.
Guy came out with my groceries in 5 mins. Very nice kid. Big change from the rudeness at the southern shopping center Wal-Mart.
The lady who helped me was very helpful but I was quite disappointed in certain things that were not asked. Seemed indifferent, same way at Lynnhaven. I felt the glasses I purchased were (2) were very pricey and I have insurance. My sweetheart was denied by Pearl Vision and we went to Vision Works where he had a great experience. Very disappointed.
It's actually Popeyes and that's pretty much it. Parking lot needs a pick up. Easy access but all parking is Popeyes only

Looking bad here. Lots of trash and no upkeep
Why is everything so dilapidated and dirty here? Huge potholes in the parking lot and no sign that there is ever any one keeping the parking lot clean due to all the trash I see in my parking spot every time I go. The cashier in the express lane have been helpful and friendly at this location but in the self checkout lane the service sucks. I'll go to self checkout for speediness but at this location they block it off and you cannot check yourself out unless they take the Rope down which they take their sweet time doing even though they see customers waiting. Come on folks, learn some customer service skills and then actually use those skills one's obtained.
Food was great. Staff were friendly and welcoming and helped me decide on my sub choice.

This shopping area is one of my favorites in Norfolk, VA; because my favorite Thrift Store is next to this strip Mall. It's called, "Thrift Store City." Shoes, Blankets, nice pieces of Furniture, Coats and boy do I mean Coats! The best time to get any coat you want is during the summer months. Boy! The fashions and prices are great. You will be surprised of the gems you may leave with. Shoes and Jeans are always available with great prices. I can go on and on about Kids clothes although I don't have kids but I am always helping out somebody's child. You should do the same! Why wait until people demand that you spend your money on holidays when you can spend your money when you have a little extra cash like today.. Pressure to do this or that is what's getting people all stressed out! Calm down people and learn to enjoy life more when you do things at your own pace and time....

Pearl Vision an old faithful. You get good service and they're polite. The doctor that they use is really old school but very thorough. She knows what she is doing and will give you the truth about what's best for you. She get 5 stars.
People always out front of the stores begging for money etc, also cars use the parking lot as a race track half the time, people already park like idiots and wonder why the area is so bad

Very friendly people ( staff ) willing to help you or your situation with your eyeglasses situation!!! Thank you for helping me!!!! would not charge me because one of the ear arms on my glasses broke off, they took the time to repair for me. I was soooo thankful!!!!
I frequent Pitbull Smoke Shop and more and Plaza Del Sol. I love Plaza! Loyal guest. Pitbull is cool as well. I'm an indecisive person, can't help it, I try not to be, but at the end of the day, I'm me, and I'm spending money. SOME of the sales associates are very patient and helpful.

It’s unfortunate that this shopping center has not worked out an agreement with CoVa Brewery next door to allow their patrons to park here. Forces overflow patrons to park across Ocean View Ave/Shore Dr in very limited parking areas and then make an extremely unsafe pedestrian crossing on Ocean View Ave.
You would think the landlords would want to encourage more people to visit this shopping center to improve visibility of the shops within. Heck have the unused parking area along the road be for CoVa customers. You could even add meters and people would probably pay.

I went to AJ Gators for thr first time today. Spent almost 65.00 for tasteless food. The hot wings even though they were mild should have had some sort of flavor. None!!!! No spice and no seasoning. The fried shrimp was just as unimpressive. The slaw was decent. The fries were the best and they were soggy. I will not be going back. It was a waste of my time and money and I had such high hopes after coworkers said the food was good.
The building is deceiving. Once side of the building faces Prume street And the other side faces Granby. The building is old.
I always go to AJ Gators for lunch and dinner. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The place is always clean and even the restroom is clean. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get.come by and check us out.
This place always looks a little run down with riff raffles hanging about despite the fact that upper scale housing has been built all around the area. Its not a place I would feel comfortable visiting after dark and even during the day, I try to avoid it if possible.
Lots of cool places you can eat and drink plus some interesting places to shop.
Decent shopping center. The laundrymat has good prices. The massage parlor only has one person working there.
Foot spa is the place to relax and catch some therapy and a nap;Yes I said nap.Its that relaxing!!They have the hands like Arby's got the meats.It's what your body want and need and they always deliver the goods. You will thank me for sharing about this foot spa.

Great savings. Limited choices but what they have is great quality. If they do not have it then the Harris Teeter is just blocks away.

Parking is a little funky, I've only been to Bheny's and Maymar. Both good. I've never had any issues here.

The parking lot is kind of...strange, but other than that it's cool. My personal faves are the Firehouse Subs shop and the Book Exchange. Totally recommend both places. In fact, you should go to the Book Exchange and get a book first. Then take your book into Firehouse subs and enjoy it while eating your awesome sub!
Grand opening for Aldi. Things looked great. Store is smaller than I anticipated but still has all the things I expect from Aldi
I’m giving 3 stars because a lot of places here have closed and most of the shops haven’t been re-leased after they close. I think the Landlord is either waiting on Aldi’s to open or is about to redo this shopping center. I tried to lease a space in here a few years back and they just weren’t very receptive to negotiating anything and that space is still available 2 years later.

Get here by 2pm to enjoy Sandfiddlers' breakfast or lunch. The food is always good, & they have wonderful daily specials.

A beautiful indoor market for small entrepreneur owned shops. Hand crafted leather goods, jewelry, shared work spaces, ect abound here. The market ends at the entrance to the library, a delightful marriage of classic and modern architecture. If you are in the area, I highly recommend you visit.

Harbor Freight Tools really does have great offers,if you are into basic quality tools . Bring the coupons from both periodicals and online to save more money. And registering to their mailing system is proven to be worthwhile.
Its a shopping center, nothing special. This Shopping Center as well as went down from day one, even in it's heyday it didn't have much in there to offer, a bunch of hidden shops that no one could see which all have went out of business now. None of the businesses that were ever in there was something you would just go there for, with the exception of Harbor freight. not the greatest store for tools but good prices.
Best Thrift. Great selection, always changing, best prices for a thrift store we have seen in a long time. Items have tickets with dates on them. If the date comes up the price gets lowered. Have made multiple trips to check out whats new! Highly recommend!!
Best Thrift is the best thrift store you can visit. Harbor Freight is a great place for buying tools and supplies in a budget. And the little watch repair shop is always there when you need it!

Went to the Sandfiddler for Breakfast. Be prepared to wait for a table. Stellar friendly an efficient service. Awesome food too. And wll worth the wait

I can't thank this addiction treatment center enough for my second chance at life. Within my 30-day stay at this rehab. facility, I found the support and help I needed to fully commit towards quitting my drug addiction permanently. I want to also give a special thanks to the staff. Their genuine dedication in having each patient live drug-free really inspired me to keep working towards my own sobriety. I now can't believe that I'm truly leading the sober life I've only dreamed of having and I'll always be thankful to Your Choice for showing me the way to do so.
The dedication of the staff and doctors here at Your Choice Addiction Treatment center is seriously remarkable. I just never expected that this drug rehab. actually succeeded in sobering up my dad. He's struggled with his Adderall addiction for years and for a while now, we were resigned to the fact that we'll have to live with this drug dependency forever. Thank you all for being there for our dad when we didn't know how to anymore and his newfound sobriety.
