Departments don't answer their phones and don't answer their pages. Customer Service is rude. Got transferred and put on hold 3 times. No wonder why I shop at the Delavan Walmart. They at least are helpful not snotty like those in Lake Geneva

Automotive center is useless. Was absolutely inconvenienced when to get my tires changed waited 2 hours to find out they lost one of my lug nuts that I know for a fact we're on there prior. Refuse to change the tires only to do an oil change for 2 hours. Will never ever come back.

Very nice and clean store. The amazing part was there were cashiers waiting on me eager to check out. Very helpful associates

I was treated like if I was a famous person by giving me all the attention I needed when I was looking for a product.
The attendant was a very nice young Mexican American girl who deserves all the respect and considerations to be picked as the employee of the year. Her name is Jennifer or something like that, don't remember exactly.

Poor service in the lawn and garden center, no one at the registers.Am employee had just punched out and was going to buy some food and was going to check out in the lawn and garden because it was" quicker" he paged for someone to come to lawn garden to no avail . I had to haul my patio furniture to the front of the store to check out. On my way out I drove past the lawn and garden and what do you know? There was five employees standing around the register in the lawn and garden 👎🏼

I have been "randomly" asked for a receipt for the past 10 consecutive visits to this store. I understand it may be policy to ask to check when there are no bags but, when the other walmart I frequent in Illinois has never asked me for a receipt when I also never have any bags it leads me to believe I am being singled out deliberately. Also the amount of workers that watch self checkout instead of running registers is ludicrous. Either trust your customers or put more people on the register and remove the self checkouts.

I'm writing to express my frustration with a recent experience at the Walmart located in Lake Geneva. I was stopped by an elderly woman at the exit for a receipt check, and the encounter was extremely unpleasant.
The elderly woman was rude and condescending, treating me as if I were a suspect rather than a valued customer. Their tone was harsh, and they seemed more interested in asserting authority than providing any semblance of customer service. The way they handled the situation was embarrassing and disrespectful, making the entire experience uncomfortable.
I understand the need for security measures, but they should be conducted professionally and courteously. This experience has left a very negative impression on me, and I hope Walmart addresses this issue to improve customer interactions in the future.

I love that it is open till 11pm every night. When I work nights it is easier to just go there after work and get what I need. Otherwise I have to rush to get things and it takes me away from where I need to be. I also like going later at night because there are less people and not over crowded.

came to shop for doordash delivery, asked to use the bathroom and the lady who was working this morning was very unprofessional and unnecessarily rude.

Manager was super kind and this store is stocked !

Place was a mess! Cashier was outside smoking when I came in. They are charging more for merchandise. I would describe this store as a pig pen. The store is obviously poorly managed.

This is the worst Dollar Tree Ive ever been to. The store always looks like it was tossed around, and when I was waiting in line today, the worker that came up to help get people checked out blamed ME for not calling?? How about you pay attention to your OWN store buddy? Jesus. I work in retail and hardly ever leave reviews but I cant stand this dollar tree. Drive 20 minutes away to burlington, it’s worth it.

Came two hours before close because it says they close at 10 and they’re closed.

So this store is brand new (well to me anything under 5 years old is new heh). Finally, we have our own little all-in-one store in como! This place has a little bit of everything. The prices are pretty fair on almost everything but the food.
Why is your food more expensive than a gas station? You having an actual large food selection is probably the thing we were most excited for. A 2 minute drive instead of 15 minutes to get groceries? Awesome! But then we get smacked in the face with high prices. I haven't been back to the store in about 4 months because of it. Such a huge letdown. Price your food fairly and you'd have waaaay more business. We don't expect Walmart prices, but it can't be 2-3x higher on everything.
Besides food, the building is nice. Clean. Looks good. However, for the first 6 months I went there they had a lot of breakdowns on their equipment. From air conditioning, to the self check out register, to the cooled refrigerators. How does a brand new place have so many problems?
The employees are all super nice. Maybe locals? Probably bored out of their minds for most of their shifts. Rarely is that place busy which is a shame. Probably the most expensive dollar general around tbh. I'll continue to shop at dollar tree and the other shops 15m away for now. 😔

Enjoy coming to this store. Seems like all of the kinks have been worked out with A/C, pipes etc. Great place to shop, great staff! In and out easily!

I like stopping after work for things I need and they are closed to often no air conditioning for over a week? No employee's?

This dollar tree has some of the BEST and WORST employees I've had the pleasure of dealing with. There are a couple of women who have worked here who were AMAZING individuals who did everything they could to help you... However, my last visit really soured my opinion of this establishment.
I searched up and down every aisle for something. A product I'd bought from here previously. While exploring, I finally decided I would settle for any product that was even remotely similar to what I was hunting, but still no luck...
I truly hate asking the employees for help. Most of the time, it is a Russian roulette as to whether or not the employees decide they will help or sound like they wish you would drop dead and leave them alone.
I asked the only employee I could find, the cashier.
My receipt says his name is Mataio. He informed me that he didn't work at that store usually and had no clue where to find my item but said I could ask the other guy.
"The other guy," I actually thought was a customer...
He was kinda walking around and completely zoned into his phone, seemingly ignoring all else.
Not to mention the giant headphones on his head.
So, I decided to walk around a bit more in hopes I'd find some kids bubble bath or some paw patrol toys for my toddler without having to disturb, "the other guy."
Ultimately, 3 laps later, I finally broke down and steeled myself to talk to the other guy.
I saw him near a cart loaded with boxes to stock, and I swear he must've known I was coming to speak to him as he quickly rounded a corner and vanished. I waited a bit until I saw him come back to the cart, again, phone in hand, eyes not deviating from the screen. I approached him until I was about 5 or 6 feet away and called out, "Excuse me. "... 3 times... Each time louder and more exasperated than the last, waved my hand in his direction before the final 4th "excuse me" and waving my entire arm toward him.
No response... Either his headphones have some seriously great noise cancelation, or he was proudly ignoring me altogether. Either way, it was embarrassing and I quickly made my way to the front so I could leave with the few Items I had and the small amount of dignity I still held after loudly calling out and trying multiple times to get his attention.
I am a store manager of a local business, and while I may not know the policies of Dollar Tree in particular, I can't imagine they are so vastly different from ours that noise canceling headphones and a fully immersed cell phone experience are high up on the job requirements and expectations... That being said, this was by far one of the worst experiences I've had at any your stores... I've had some rude employees in your various locations in the past, but "the other guy" trumps them all...
Looking back, I wish I'd have gotten a name or a picture of the young individual in question... But unfortunately, he was just the other guy on shift...

Drove 20 something minutes just to go here and it’s closed at least 4 hours early. Sometimes things happen and a store may need to close early BUT, this is not the first or second or even third time. They’re so unreliable! What a shame this place can’t manage to get it together.

What a mess. This store is messy, the floors are filthy and the shelves are bare. I haven’t been here in a few years, but it’s gone way downhill. Does corporate ever check their stores. They need help here.

This review is for the company not the store
I dont know whose corporate brainchild it was to throw company funds away bringing another dollar store to twin lakes but trust me!! Every single person ive talked with can't believe n our lil town we now will hv 2 dollar stores. Lake Geneva has one dollar tree twin lakes a fraction of population there....& on top of that ur a garage sale store. Youll b closing ur doors.. cant sustain a business with summer traffic only what a waste & a disappointment.

I genuinely feel awful for the employees here. Not only do they appear to be miserable, but the amount of OSHA violations at this location are mind blowing. I find it hard to wrap my head around the notion that Dollar General cares this little, considering all they have done for years is willfully violate OSHA regulations.

This store seriously needs help all the The shelves are empty I'm so Surprise the upper management has not stepped in to try to help the store. I don’t even know how they’re even managing with not having pretty much no merchandise on the shelves and being able to keep up with profit...

Just drove 20 minutes when they’re supposed to be open. It’s 12:57. Store lights are on, doors locked and no one’s answering knocks or the phone. A women walked up with us and as we were leaving a few other people had walked up. Poor business practices.

My first visits was great! Rob the cashier was very kind, and personable. The aisles are a bit thin, bit I was suprised at the selection of darn near everything. I can definitely avoid the hectic Walmart more often. A second cashier, Hailey, was also incredibly kind to chat with me a bit while I was the only one in the store and waiting for the accessible van.
