Wonderful wal-mart store. We were pleasantly surprised to see there is still a WM store that has a gun selection. Store was well stocked and even organized during the crazy Christmas season. Every employee seemed happy and friendly.
There’s an exceptionally annoying obvious trans “woman” who works in the pharmacy that has a very condescending attitude and they make a lot of unnecessary comments about the things you buy. Telling you things about your medical condition that any idiot would know. Completely inappropriate and smug personality. It’s pretty inappropriate for someone with such serious mental issues being in a position where they are privy to sensitive private information and who doesn’t possess the common sense to understand social etiquette and personal boundaries. What a nightmare of a person.
Had such a wonderful shopping experience at Walmart today.

I agree customer service is great. The issue that needs worked on is there’s a huge deal about privacy. So why is it ok that I’m being helped and two other people interrupt asking where something is and I have to wait and these people are standing close to me by counter. Dude - Just get a sign or something and tell people to wait there. I mean anything. I thought it was pretty funny too when the second person said oh I’m not trying to cut you 😂😂😂👍👍👍👍👍👍

Staff member Alyssa was so much help checking out the other day, with how many people are in Walmart on a regular basis I was sure it would take me forever to get out of there with the few items I had. There where a few people behind me and she quickly directed me to an open check stand, and assured that I found everything I needed with ease, she was extremely friendly and made my experience better than usual. 5 stars goes to Alyssa, really wonderful customer service!!!
i give the store itself a 1 star, but i receive some of the best customer service from this amazing worker named alyssa. she was my cashier and may i just say she was so welcoming and nice. most cashiers there are rude, but she was an absolute angel to talk with. i give her a 5 star just for her great customer service!!
I had the absolute best customer service experience with an employee named Alyssa Cissell. She was so helpful and so kind to me. She was knowledgeable in navigating the store and she is one of the only employees I see on the checkout line frequently. She is constantly working hard. We were able to have time for a conversation when I was checking out. She was very personable and I could tell she really cared. She is definitely one of the best or at least my favorite employee at Walmart.
One of my favorite co-ops, because of the immense selection of bulk foods, sauces, seasonings, etc. and also the hot bar, salad bar and prepared food in general.. and last but not least the coffee bar where you can sit and eat the food and drink the copy they sell there that is always perfectly brewed. Also nice that they have a water station there and silverware.
The whole store and the coffee bar area in the dining area, and the restrooms are always super clean.
Really cool landscaping as you walk in with a really well done flower garden that is hard to not stop and admire, and also smell a rose or two.
Also the prepared flowers and flower bouquets right when you walk in look amazing.
I finally bought a few flowers last week for an upcoming anniversary, much thanks to Hannah, who was nearby and was so helpful and gregarious with helping me pick out the flowers and also advice on taking care of them on the way to Kalispell. Her advice was spot-on because they're still looking amazing three days later!
I was just listening to a Wayne Dyer audiobook and he was talking about higher spiritual energy people and once you get above 200 on this scale you start to radiate goodness and influence people just with your presence.
He also talked about how this happens with food too and how you can hold an apple with pesticides and feel weak, and then hold one without pesticides, and feel strong- even though you don't know which apple had pesticides before holding each one. Something within knows.
I realize after listening to that Wayne Dyer audiobook why I feel so good walking into co-ops, but especially this one more than just about any other one I've been in.
So on the last trip I not only walked into the store feeling good because I just completed a workout, but also because I basked in the glow of the positive ambiance of the food within the store, and also had an encounter with a high-energy being (Hannah).
Also the coffee was spectacular (as always) so I floated out of the store on a pretty good high (and no I didn't stop at the Greenhouse Farmacy beforehand).
I included a view of a in the distance from my camping spot in the mountains the morning of.

I came from southern California and am used to Super Walmarts. I miss the abundant selection of clothes at a great price point. The quality of some of the merchandise was just great.

Today was not a good day at Winco. Dennis the checker scolded me and said his line was a no humming zone. I thought he was playing with me and laughed. He was serious. He said he hated humming. Embarrassed me in front of the others in line. Then I said I'll make sure to not come in his line again, cause I'm happy and I hum. He then said " Oh but I'm the best and the fastest. What a weird morning and what a jerk
Great store for natural and organic products, vitamins and suppliments, and handmade products! Friendly and helpful staff as well.
Love this store, from the top-notch service from Rosauers staff -- to the abundant selections to the best quality product. The organic store inside here is just another reason we frequent this store when in Missoula.
On the pricey side and didn't have all the ingredients we needed. Nice staff tho.
I really don't have a problem with the store other than its expensive but their damn app never works! Check outs always blame the wifi which it probably is but without the app coupons, I'm not paying their prices so I seldom go.

Not sure why the entry box for the balloon dogs contest was unavailable on August 26. The deadline is August 31. As a regular store customer, I was disappointed and won’t be entering contests that are run in this arbitrary way. A waste of my time.
This was my regular work stop. Not all places stay open until 11, and the evening staff there was always friendly. The store is usually well stocked and clean, and unlike a few locations in town, I always felt safe in this area.
I love this store. It's just the right size with a very good selection of products. Their produce is nice and fresh. There is a huge vitamin/supplement section as well. The best part is the staff. They are always friendly and helpful. Prices are about what you would expect in a natural food store.
They have a large selection of organic produce as well as a large variety of supplements. Love this store...
The bakery in Missoula has really gone downhill. Several times I have bought cream filled donuts and the middle is doughy. Yesterday I bought a chocolate cream pie the chocolate pudding is watery doesn’t look like pudding and overnight left a watery consistency in the container. So disgusted and some of the staff in the bakery are snippy. Rosauers use to be my favorite store.
I love this place. Great buffet, coffee shop, good selection of everything healthy. Lovely kitchen store adjacent.

Love the produce selection and prices here. They don't carry some things I look for like whole bean coffee or baking mixes/supplies, but overall a good place to shop and buy stock up items.
I do not like their meat or produce .doesn't last long before going bad. Poor quality. Good prices for canned food drinks your basic necessities. You get what you paid for eith the .watch and produce
I really do love this location, but I’ve noticed more times than one the produce is not always the best. I hate that I have to go to a completely separate location just to get fruit, but that is better than molding rotten fruit
I don't like that you can't use credit cards and you have to bag your own groceries, but some of the prices are really good. Like the ice cream! Cheapest I've seen in town.
I just visited this Albertsons and had the worst experience I've ever had.
I got a cake I had ordered and had great service from the employees in the bakery but when I went to check out at lane 4 today 8/3/23 at 12:40 pm the 2 young girls working, cashier and bagger, were very rude. They said nothing to me and kept talking to each other, the cashier kept glaring at me and once I paid I had to wait for the bagger to put my 3 items in the hand basket after I had to tell her I needed the basket, she was walking away with, because I was pushing my daughter in her stroller she threw her hands up and looked angry at my request. She pushed down on the top of my cake and kept ignoring me and talking to the cashier. She just barely moved out of the way for me to have to lean over and grab my basket. Never offered to help with anything. Never said have a good day or thank you. They are awful, rude employees and definitely need some supervision or training.

I am white American, and 3, employees approach me and say a security guard saw me vaping. Some older lady reported it because I had it in my hand. Then I realized, I was being racially profiled,,I had 2 work friends with me, Hispanic, and they were followed like criminals in this store.
I observed it and you didn't know I was white. The disgusting look on these rude employees was pure hate. You truly fit your environment guys. And look as weak as a placenta.

Great store! Some hag came halfway across the store to ask us to remove our four items from the basket. She doesn’t have enough work apparently, assign her some tasks. She can start by emptying baskets!
Travel tip, most Rosaures have a deli area with tables. Stop in. Pick up some fresh food. Enjoy the sitting area with restrooms nearby and get back on your travel plans. Little diamonds in the rough on road trips
Went here at July 15, 2023. Had a decent experience, but am disappointed to hear that staff often feel like they can't rest for a minute on job. I also found it rude that injured employees are not allowed to sit down because it's seen as lazy while a group of employees were standing around chatting even though it was busy!

My husband got bad food poisoning from a chicken salad there once. He’s avoided it since. I’ve had a few sandwiches over the years without any food safety issues. I did not get one for a while because they were selling sandwiches which did not have the meat casing off, so the waxy bit got sliced up with the actual meat. They gave us a refund and were nice.
Yesterday, I picked up an Italian sandwich because I’m pregnant and was craving one over the past few days. I’m technically not supposed to eat deli meat due to the risk of listeria. However, the chances of me getting actually sick from it are lower than me getting involved in a car crash. I’ve seen the number “1 in a million” thrown around, so yes, I got my pregnant butt a stupid sandwich.
This most likely gave me diarrhea. I have not had any other symptoms, so I am not saying “LISTERIA!!” but I know no deli sandwich should be causing GI sickness, unless there was something wrong with it. All I ate aside from that were other things I’ve been regularly eating, without a problem.
So if you’re eating from the deli, you’re gambling. I know they’ve sold moldy sandwiches in the past too. I’m just lucky I wasn’t the moldy sandwich victim. Please avoid the deli.
Lastly, the prices are too high. Not competitive at all. They will purposely keep expired product on the shelf. One time I found an entire row of expired chicken broth, like six months expired. I informed the cashier and told them the whole lot of that brand was just sitting on the shelf, every bit of it expired. I went back some time later, like days or a week later, got curious and looked back there. It was all still sitting there, in its six month expired glory. Gross.

Hands down the best grocery store in the country! I grew up watching The GFS evolve into the incredible place it is now! It was a tiny store when I was a child and I got my first job as a sample person in highschool! Whenever I visit Missoula I have to visit The GFS. They have everything from delicious ready made lunch/dinner to fresh made smoothies/Sandwiches and all your grocery needs! The staff is always so friendly, too.
I’ve been a fan of Winco since my first visit in Idaho 9 years ago. Great prices. Great produce. Best place to get my favorite drink: Bing, natural energy
Expensive but has items that other stores might not. Fairly good produce but some times I’ll find wilted cukes or lettuce. Deli folks are great for slicing slabs of meat for a Chef’s Salad.
If this was not the closest grocery store to me I would never shop here.

I think one of the many that do this is the manager? I mean four or five of them just at the front of the store chatting and laughing. They don't greet customers, they don't offer to help, just socializing and getting paid for it. There are a couple of the checkers that are nice, but most have a sour disposition. An example, yesterday I chose self check out and there was some gooey stuff that the last person had left on the scanning shelf. I nicely asked the woman who was minding the area if she could clean it off as I didn't want to get it on my items. She lounged over with a wadded up plastic bag in her hand and smeared it around on the shelf and walked off. Attitude! I mean, come on. Isn't keeping the area clean part of your job?

I’d love an answer back on this, why is it that I can get off at 6 pm, and you’ve been out of fresh groceries in the veggie sections when I come by? 60% of your veggie chill wall was empty. Making me go to Walmart which I find has lower quality than you guys. Please fix it so your deliveries are keeping your veggies in stock through all business hours. I get shortages but dang 3 times now is concerning.
Orange Street Food Farm's own brand of coffee beans are the Best in town! The Peruvian 'Detonator" whole bean is now the only coffee I buy. Thank you Orange Street Food Farm. Thank you. Thank you. As long as you have that on the shelves, I will faithfully purchase it every time. And thanks for the awesome tunes we get to listen to and dare I say sing along with at times while shopping. It always puts me in a good mood.

Don't let the name fool you, not everything at a good food store is good. It was a nice store, but very pricey. Doubled my grocery bill with less groceries. I'd come here for a thing or two, but I won't do all of my shopping here again.

A friend was visiting me from out of town and wanted to find a specific kind of beer that is difficult to find. We found it, and other nice beers, at Orange Street Food Farm.
I like the bulk section, fresh veggies, and the hot pizza and occasionally the salad bar. Outside of that it can get rather pricey here, but i think that’s how they roll. Also, the fresh ground peanut butter is wonderful, just be careful not to overfill the container cuz the machine keeps spewing a bit longer after you let go of the grind button!
Wow. Such a disgrace. Just wanted to buy some meat and cheese from the deli, and had to wait 40 minutes while the staff were talking to each other, dancing, singing, and messing around. Rediculus. They said: "It will only be 5 minutes." But ended up almost waiting an hour. I'm never going to this deli agian. To top it off, after waiting that whole time, the checker was rude, and didint appear to care about her customer service what so ever. I don't recommend it.
Though its bit pricey, but im kind surprised that they got what i did not see in other similar establishments. The pharmacy inside and the helpful attendant makes the visit there all the worth.
Albertsons is a nice grocery store. I went in to get fried chicken and it was very tasty we also bought coffee, they have a great selection of coffee and the bakery was good too. Very friendly staff in the deli!

The bulk goods section can often beat Costco for selection and pricing if you're looking for a particular thing.

Mike (I think he is a manager) appears to be indifferent to his coworkers and customers.
I was waiting at customer service today to buy a gift card. The young lady at the desk was on the phone helping a customer find out the price of some item in the meat department but couldn't find it in her system. She called "Mike" to the front for assistance. He sauntered over and pulled up the information on her terminal. Didn't say much. Just walked away leaving his coworker to figure it out. She had to yell after him to find out what the price was.
Mike made no eye contact with me, didn't acknowledge that I was waiting or check to see if there was anything he could do to assist me. I could forgive that if he seemed to be really busy or in a hurry but he wasn't moving with any sense of urgency. It looked more like casual indifference. Like helping an employee help a customer was inconvenient for him.
I could have this all wrong but if that is typical behavior for one of your managers, he is costing you good employees and customers.

Amazing! Huge and everything you could need. Bulk section is massive, water is .29 if you bring your own gallon. Also have ice and an ample prepared food area, coffee, home goods. Check out the made in Montana area—some real good stuff over there
Absolute amazing place to shop or even work! I've only worked here for a few weeks but everyone is super nice and it's been great and I've shopped here for years and they have everything you could ever want! Absolutely amazing store gets a 11/10 from me

The store itself is great, but don’t park in the front. There needs to be speed bumps between the entrance where the nail place is and the entrance. I almost got rear ended. This is a huge liability to shoppers and will end with accidents and I’m sure it already has.
I did not realize the extent of their local products until tonight. Thank you, Good Food Store for what you do. I will definitely be visiting more frequently.

One of the most pleasant grocery store experiences I’ve had ever. An extremely clean store, with very friendly employees so much so that I could even tell the other customers in there we’re happy. I did not realize this was the shopping experience I was missing by usually going to Walmart. Thank you Albertsons for restoring a little bit of my hope in humanity.

Good deli food. They have a bunch of hot and cold options all very health conscious. There's a dining room where you can sit and eat. Sweets from local bakeries. Good selection of vitamins. Excellent bulk food section. Store is always neat and clean. Employees are always smiling even when it's busy. I love the self-care section of the store it's my favorite. They used to have cooking classes but I don't know if they still do post COVID.
Great produce for a great price! All the organic goodies. We always make a stop here when we're in town.

They have an amazing produce department as well as phenomenally delicious deli items. It may cost a little more but you get what you pay for with the sliced deli. They have a fabulous selection of wine and beer. All the checkers is super friendly and the general vibe and there is just good.
Extremely wide selection of food, wine and beer. I buy my coffee beans here - they have a very wide selection from several coffee roasters. Great produce section too.
Ordered order from Albertsons order came with human spit in one of the fresh spice containers. Called up Albertsons on North reserve to complain was put on hold no manager would answer call lady said it was out of their hands! Shopping Albertsons my whole life and this will be my last! Any grocer this lax and carefree needs the good old health department rain on down on them!
A very nice store with all the necessities for basic (and sometimes beyond) grocery needs. The parking lot can be a bit busy at times, so look about and stay aware as you navigate to find a spot. They have great sales, especially if you're tied in to their loyalty system.

The prices are great and the quality of the products are awesome. We use the meat in just about everything and the box of bones for broth and our dogs is awesome!
This store is amazing and I will shop there in every town my travels take me to that one is located. I have been looking for kumquats for months and haven't been able to locate them and was able to here along with so many other amazing items. Thrilled to have discovered this store. Full of natural products and organic food items. Also has a great wine selection, great food bar and unique items.
Loved going there,it was rather enjoyable..not so crowded and noisy..wine selection plenty and quality of the meat wonderful.

Have had countless pounds of meat products from these guys and must say they are one of the best.
Their hams are the juiciest and most flavorful I have personally had not only in western Montana but anywhere I've been.

Absolutely one of the best markets in missoula to shop at. Hands down. And most of the staff are very friendly.

One of my favorite grocery stores in Missoula. This place is always kept clean, the staff is great, the food is great, what more can you ask for!
They have everything you need. Even sock monkeys! Love the organic section, tons of healthy choices like fig bars and natural shampoo. Plus they have a cozy little lounge with a fireplace and free WiFi. Open late until midnight!
This store seems more like a local establishment than a large chain - in stark contrast to Good Food Store, which has a definite large chain vibe. Really threw me for a loop when I found out the opposite was the case. It has more of a low-key vibe, a bit shabbier but more attentive staff and lower prices. The main downside is the lack of a bulk section - and I think less selection in general than Good Food Store. Otherwise, it would be the clear winner in my book. Not that I don’t like GFS, it’s just got that wanna-be Whole Foods, trying too hard vibe. I prefer the middle-aged hippie feel of Natural Grocers - at least this one, I haven’t been to any other locations. I’d definitely recommend it for your non-bulk health food store needs.
Not only the best pork they also have fantastic beef products and pepperoni sticks . Try the smoked pork chops if you don't want to cook a whole ham

Love love love this place so happy that they opened one here in Missoula I was so sad when I moved away from my place just down the road from the one up in kalispell. The pepperoni sticks are to die for.
