Stopped at Margheritas after not having been to the Keene location and had a great time! We were seated promptly by an employee who was incredibly freindly and had Tino as our server. He was accurate and quick to get us our drinks and food and got us a refill on the chips in under a minute. The food came out fast an accurately with substitutions and was just as tasty as I remembered! Definitely coming back soon.
Food was delicious! it wasn't until halfway though the meal until I realized it was fully gluten free kitchen. Apparently we went there because someone in our party has gluten allergies and I didn't even notice. Great place for everyone. Such cool furniture great atmosphere.
Had a great experience at a different location, so we ordered pickup at the Waltham location. Everything was fine until we started eating. The steak was overcooked and unseasoned, the rice was clearly boxed rice and undercooked, and the queso looked like it had been sitting out all day. We both ended up getting food poisoning from this restaurant. We will never be going back.
The restaurant looks great, it’s has a pretty cool vibe and the music is nice. The servers are for the most part great. The cocktails are also great. The food on the other hand, specially their rice needs work, this is coming from someone who eats rice regularly and enjoys rice cooked in many different ways, but the rice here taste and feel like heated leftovers and for a restaurant that’s all about being “Mexican” that’s quite the insult, I’m sure no Mexican would be proud of the rice they serve here. Also the desserts are not worth it, overpriced and just not memorable at all, so don’t waste your money. By the way, what’s the point of having a reception if there’s no one to receive you and you can spend 15 minutes standing around waiting for someone to ask if you need help and get you your takeout order.

Affordable, great food. Ordered beef and pork tacos, & bupusa. They don’t rush you out either which is nice. Tacos are served with two tortillas.
Our waitress, Ashley was amazing. She knew her job. I didn't have an empty glass the entire time. Genuinely a nice person too.

She got a 50% tip off her service.
The food wasn't amazing by any means. But I'll remember that waitress forever.

I had high hopes based on some of the reviews however i agree the food was pretty average. The food looked amazing but could have used more seasoning. Service and atmosphere was nice. Also the tacos felt smaller than expected.

Not from the area, but we went to a coffee roasting event and the owner recommended checking out Moody St. My friends and I first saw Amuleto when driving too Moody St. We all like Mexican, so agreed to try it. This place did not disappoint. They seemed short-staffed at that moment, but they waiter managed just fine. Great food and drink selection and my friends are vegetarians and had no issues choosing their lunch or apps. Overall, the place is really nice inside and the food was great!

I'm down in the New Bedford area and we have our fair share of great restaurants, but I would come back here again, with more friends.
Rice came totally uncooked. Server looks like she was just waiting to end her shift.

We have had really good experience at the Nashua location.

Waltham - I might not return based on the experience.

Excellent Mexican restaurant on Moody Street in Waltham. We had a party for 8 for 5 PM. Our reservation was honored and the service was great. It was extremely clean and nice inside. Parking was pretty easy. Ample street parking there is a free lot around the corner.

The drinks were very flavorful and pretty strong 😉. The food was excellent as well.

Ordered Beef Chapli and Chicken biryani but it turned out to be chicken qorma mixed in biryani rice, even had qorma gravy. I felt like the beef chapli was overcooked, reheated and not fresh.

I’ve been to so many Pakistani restaurants in the U.S but I have to without a doubt say this place is my number one now. The food taste fantastic, you have to try the flavorful chicken tikka kabob with the traditional big naan(bread). The white sauce is also extremely unique to this place. The staff were incredibly kind and the area looked very traditional with ethnic seating available. My wife loved the place so I will be coming here very often!

Not that great. Not even close to any authentic Peshawari food. Served frozen samosas. Food looked good. Don't try any Karahis. Cook up in tomato 🍅 paste and garnish ginger to make it look good. Naan 🫓 bread was good 👍 Service is in paper plates and forks.
Now after my honest review, here is the response from owner! Just Wow! Real customer oriented, showing his true character!!!
"Your standards are too high for us, you should stay home and cook for yourself"
Yes I should, just like they are doing buying frozen samosas and fry it and call it "authentic Peshawari flavor" 😂😂🤣

I really hate when I have to give a bad review. I have been trying to get food from this place and finally I did. I ordered nachos with asada steak, I said no onions they were full of Onions 😡. The nachos had no flavor at all. I also ordered tacos de lengua 🙄 also NO flavor. The flautas were ok. $50 + for food that I didn't eat. Never going back.

My brother, his wife and I visited this restaurant last night (on a pick up order), and I was blown away how atrocious the quality was. I know we are from Texas and likely have higher than normal standards for Mexican food, but this was a nightmare.

The torta I had was bland as paper and the chicken was a little undercooked. The bread was awful as well. The beans were mediocre, and the rice was below average.

My brothers enchiladas were a disgrace. They were so terrible, the average person would not have been able to identify the plate as an enchilada. His wife had the quesadillas, and then too were a complete fail.

From our one and done visit, I implore you to avoid this place like the plague. There has to be 1000 restaurants in Boston that would be a much safer choice. This establishment should be ashamed of the awful quality of food they served.

I ❤️ Antojito's, great food, fast service, reasonably priced. The atmosphere is pleasant but no frills, really. A lot of sunlight and nice plants in the large windows to block out prying eyes but its a breakfast/lunch place, so it is really a more casual eatery. Definitely a loyal clientele with Mexican and South American fare.

Delicious food, we took Lamb Gyro Platter and Chicken Tikka Kabab Greek salad.
True, wherever we take a similar lamb dish, the meat does not taste like real lamb.
The closest location was open after 9 pm from our hotel.
We bought food to take with us, but the inside of the place is very atmospheric and cozy. There is a dastarkhan for a large company who likes to relax while lying. The only thing I didn’t like was that you couldn’t pay by card through the online application, only PayPal. But we paid by card on the spot.

Nice mexican place! I absolutely enjoyed the food. It also seem like a very popular take-out place. Meat tasted a little salty but still enjoyable. Refried beans were amazing. I wished they gave us more chips as we waited quite a bit for our food.

Best tacos I’ve had on the East Coast. Really (really) small spot, but great place to pick up some food during my lunch break.
Everything was outstanding, from the minute we were seated. Carlos was our attentive but non- intrusive server who was both personable and professional, a delight to interact with. Also a really sweet young woman assisting, didn't get her name. House margaritas were exceptionally good, roasted chicken mole was out of this world, carne asada was a very cleanly trimmed whole strip center cut cooked perfectly medium rare with an addictive avocado sauce and accompanying chicken enchilada mole poblano. Apps of baby back ribs and octopus were really spectacular. We were very impressed with the unusual takes on
dishes we have tried at many different Mexican eateries. Amuleto is a must is you're dining in Waltham.

This is the greatest place on Earth. Halal heaven. Big portions. Carpet area to hang out. and they have a praying area too so you can express your upmost gratitude towards Allah before eating the best food he's blessed upon you
Best tacos in the Boston area. I’ve been coming for over 10 years and have never had a bad meal. Staff is super friendly and service is quick. I always go with tacos especiales with cabeza, but everything on the menu is great. Cozy inside so if you have a big group, get your food to go. A not so hidden anymore gem!

Kind of deceiving reviews, customer service is not good, they will give you expired drinks, food is not bad, but nothing special. I’m not against tips I’m always all in for tips based on customer service but they make tips obligatory and they put them in the invoice I think that’s not a good practice.
here are things to love about margaritas. Great location (next to Charles river with outdoor seating till winters) and ambiance and wonderful service. These aren't going to change so let's take the constant. At some point though I would imagine the lights and the ambiance would start feeling dated.

now we ordered fish tacos, burrito supreme, "margaritas" - I ordered the black cherry and my friend the mango. We then followed with dessert with me ordering churros and her fried ice cream. My friend liked her food, but I thought it was just ok. Caveat was that both of us were not as hungry when we ordered.

Here is what worked. The quantity of the burrito was great, it was cheesy and a full meal. However the sabor/flavor was slightly mild/bland. The burrito was too soggy/drenched for my liking. The churro chocolate sauce left much to be desired. The quantity was okay but the taste and runniness is something that could be improved. The margaritas had a kick but perhaps would have served to have alone rather than with food.

That said I wish I would have given feedback to the staff but was engaged in conversation plus it was a birthday treat for me, and if the host liked the food, i didn't want to come across as critical.

Assumed it was a higher end restaurant based on the pictures and reviews, but ended up being pretty average - which was unfortunately.

Great location by the corner of Moody street with wonderful staff that make you feel comfortably at home.

The main dishes were good, but could have been elevated further with some additional seasoning. Possibly try something out of their wheelhouse to rejuvenate their menu a bit and make them stand out.

The chips for the appetizer were too hard, and uncomfortable to eat. But the flavors in the salsa and guac were definitely there!

Overall, a good experience.

My friends recommended this place and we did take out from here. As per their recommendations I took the beef Chapli kebab with biriyani rice. The kebab was really good with great flavors. My wife got the chicken kofta kebab which was equally good. We tried their kheer as well which was okay. I definitely recommend the Chapli kebab.

Had the beef cheek tacos and it was solid, especially with the sauce. A little under $13 for 4 tacos. My friend loved the burrito, but felt the beef taco was a little dry. If it wasn’t in Waltham, we’d love to go more often.

They seemed busy with people coming and going, but the wait wasn’t too bad
Tonight was our first visit and we really enjoyed it. We started with the three mini tamales plate. The mole sauce on the chicken tamale was outstanding and even better was the tomatillo sauce on the pork tamale.

We also had the brussels sprouts with pork belly and the fried plantains. We enjoyed them both.

Last we got two tacos to share. You should always be able to order a single taco. The first was the pork which was generously filled. The second was something I had never seen before. They took a jalapeño and stuffed it with shrimp. It was wild, but so so good. I highly recommend getting that. Maybe get three.

The service was friendly and the space is nice. It is a small dining room but they do take reservations and you can eat outside in nice weather (it was raining today).

Bottom line: we’ll worth a visit.

Out of town visitors seeking good South Asian delights. Peshwari Kebab did Not disappoint. While the restaurant is a little divey, the traditional decor certainly adds a unique flair. The food really hit the spot. The seekh kebab, chicken tikka and Chapli kebabs were perfect. The food tasted fresh and the naans were great. Service was good and fast. Overall we recommend this restaurant!

We initially have it delivered by Ubereats but was surprised that the food was dry and the portions were small. We had lamb tikka and Beef Chapli. Came with two types of sauce: white non-spicy and green spicy. The rice was delicious. After my review here, the owner reached out and offered a replacement. We were pleasantly satisfied by their excellent service. I love the atmosphere as well, very authentic Pakistani place. Their lamb kebabs and beef chapli were tender and flavorful, completely different from our initial delivery order. Highly recommend dining there or takeout!

A hidden gem on Moody St. Delicious, authentic Central American food for a great price. We loved the pupusas, carne asada, and gorditas - no complaints at all. The food came out fast and everyone there was super friendly. Will be recommending this place to our friends!
It is cash only but they do have an ATM inside.
This place never disappoints. I go monthly, if not more. Oscar is my favorite waiter. He is so much fun, interacts with you and makes you feel as home. He has a personality that could light a dark room. Kasey is also a great waiter. He takes the time to get to know you, like Oscar. I never leave there without laughing with the staff.

The food taste good but they have very poor costumer service. I told them about my hot chocolate tasting more like water than chocolate and I was told I was going to be charged twice! After some side eyes, they added half a packet of instant hot chocolate.
Prices always changing, they only accept cash and the atm machine doesn't work. Do take out, don't dine in.
Dios mío - comida deliciosa !!
Authentic taste of Mexico right here in Waltham ! Food 5 ⭐️ | Service 5 ⭐️ | Ambiance - who cares when the food is this great tasting.

Highlights- Chabeza ( cheek) tacos
Chorizo ( sausage) tacos
Carnitas ( pork) torta
Horchata ( rice milk )
Veggie lovers don’t be disheartened- ask for the veggie enchiladas, trust me they are at par with the meat dishes.

Taqueria team thank you for making our Mexican dinner enjoyable.. we loved the food and the service.

We had to wait a solid 35 minutes to get a table, they have only a handful for tables ( 6 to be precise). There is a big queue for take outs, the kitchen is busy like crazy.

At the table our hostess was great, friendly and attentive. We didn’t have to wait a lot for the food, in the meanwhile chips and guacamole kept us busy.

We finished the food with a tres leche cake which was tasty but a bit too sugary. They seems to have gotten a “top 100 places to eat” award from Yelp. Honestly I am not surprised… they are just too good.

Google thank you for a great find, I will keep coming till then “ disfrute de su comida” ( enjoy your meal)

It is crazy. They always charge different price, and you don’t get a recipe. I was expecting to pay $12.00 for a take out order. The actual price was $19.00. I even do not know how those number came out. It is much better if they have a solid prices on the online menu. Plus, they only accept cash.
Truly the best authentic taquería in the Boston area. Not only is their food consistent and tasty, but their welcoming stuff will make you feel right at home. I have gone consistently in the past 6 months, twice per month at least, and my personal favorites as the "Tacos dorados", "quesadilla", and any of the burritos. Be prepared to wait if you go at "food rush" hour as the place is truly small and there will be a wait.

One of my best finds for authentic Mexican food in recent times.

Ordered chicken soup, quesadilla, chorizo tortas, Pollo al cilantro and Harchata. The food was delicious and very flavorful. It has been a very long time since I had nice delicious authentic Mexican food. The tortas bread was perfectly warm and the chorizo melted in my mouth. I personally like the Pollo al cilantro, the cilantro sauce was a bit spicy and added a nice kick to my taste palate.

On a nice cold day, I would recommend their soup. It is loaded with veggies and chicken and the chicken broth is delicious.

Best, Fresh, Tasty taco.

One of the best taqueria in the Boston area. The restaurant is small and best for a party of 2 to 4. I would highly recommend dine-in here. Their salsa is fresh and flavor packed. the tacos are delicious and made fresh with soft corn tortilla, the preferred choice of meat, avocado, and cilantro.

The Chorizo taco is worth not missing.
Pretty good! The sodas were great and the outside patio was nice. Just wish the waitresses were a bit more attentive. I loved the nachos- just wish they had hot queso!!! All in all is a pretty good hole in the wall joint for a quick lunch
Good service, fresh flavorful food at a great price. The perfect small “come as you are” spot. Definitely coming back!

Service was great. Two of the three of us are vegetarian and there was only one vegetarian option on the menu but our server worked with us to figure out alternative options. The salsa was fresh and tangy, guacamole was awesome, and the hot sauce was actually hot and paired perfectly with the tacos. Both of the main plates were great. Flavorful and well cooked without feeling oily or overdone. Everything felt like real home cooking. Amazing meal for only $27! Definitely will be back!

I've been here several times. The staff is friendly and the menu has decent depth to it. Just about ever plate comes with rice and beans and they always hit the spot.

My last time here I ordered the Mexican Plate which comes with two beef enchiladas, one chicken taco, and rice & beans. I believe you can get the red or green sauce with the enchiladas and both are really tasty.

*July 2023 Update* I'm declaring this one of the best Mexican restaurants in the Boston area. Today I had the Banderazo plate and it was superb. The red sauce that the beef was marinated in was to die for.

Again, the staff is always super friendly and the price:portion ratio is perfect.

I recommend coming here if you're in the mood for Mexican.

Just sat at the counter and let my eyes order for me by requesting what the stranger next to me was eating. I ended up with two chicken gorditas, they are unbelievable! My new lunch spot whenever I'm working nearby!
