Visited here yesterday whilst on holiday but unfortunately not very impressed with the hygiene at all. The girl serving on the till looked so ill she really should not have been working! She was coughing everywhere, then handling our drinks and no apology or cleaning her hands what so ever. I later saw her serving up ice-cream and handling food which is even worse. Absolutely shocking behaviour that this employee is being permitted to work around food & drink when she clearly has a cold/covid/flu. If you are in the area this week avoid!!! The guy serving on the bar wasn't much better either, he was also coughing and spluttering everywhere. Absolutely disgusting. As for the carvery, this is very misleading. Prices outside say from '£5.50' but no prices on the menu inside. Turns out its actually £10 per person and its very mediocre. Only 1 choice of meat and the potatoes were dry and hard and watery gravy. No one serving for ages either so lots of standing waiting around. I will say the pork, stuffing and Yorkshire puddings were nice, but as for the rest of it and the value for money its very poor. Defintely would not visit again, their lack of consideration for customers health is extremely off putting. I have contacted them privately to voice concerns.
I ordered on the app and the service was very quick! I think it took about 10 minutes to arrive.

The food was good but the curries were very poor. They were just shop bought jar curries. The meats on the carvery were fantastic, especially the beef. The pizza was freshly made in front of you and tasted beautiful. Overall a great place to have a good scran just avoid the curry. I would definitely recommend this place
We have been coming to Butlin’s for years as a family, we’ve always visited this venue when we come. We’ve never had a problem with it, however this year we have visited and unfortantly we were very dissapointed, the food price compare to what you get is shocking I don’t know if prices has changed but the quality hasn’t got any better for the price.
We had 2 young children and had to buy 1 adult breakfast for £6.50 because they didn’t have a kids option then we had to pay £3.75 for 1 sausage 1 egg and 1 peice of bacon for our other picky child.
The pop was very over priced £4.60 for 1 glass of Pepsi, which didn’t taste the best.
We then had to pay separate for our toast for our breakfast which was 1.50 for 2 slices meaning we had payed around £45 for our small family, we know prices has gone up and we don’t mind paying however it was dissapointing to know that the breakfast we had bought called ‘the big breakfast ‘ for £8.99 we then had to pay an extra £1.50 on top for the toast! I just think they need to rethink the prices…

On holiday and we wanted to try this restaurant because of the ratings. And I can’t actually fault it at all. Food was tasty and very flavourful, the chips were the ones I love and the tuna sandwich was very delicious too. The garlic bread and burger was appetising and very generous with the cheese and fillings. Food was hot and arrived in a great time. Service was great. Nicole our waiter was friendly and attentive!! Sat down immediately and the menu’s had a wide range of food to choose from. Highly recommend this restaurant- 10/10👍🏼
Spent Saturday night . DJ played some great tunes from 80’s all way to recent. Door men and security was very helpful. Ladies in bar serving was both friendly and welcoming . Lunch was lovely too
Had a fabulous night. The food was amazing. There was so much to choose from, pizza, Chinese, Indian and a gorgeous carvery. Really friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Absolutely loved it. Will definitely be back and have recommended it to so many people.
Out for a day trip with a friend and called in for a fish and chip lunch. The food was really good and the service excellent. The restaurant is wheelchair friendly and the waitress was really helpful and very pleasant. We will definitely come back here for lunch when in Skegness for the day up.

Everytime I come on holiday to Skegness the Marine Boat House was one my favourite places to go to for the carvery. However I visited the place last week in September 2024 while on holiday and it's really gone downhill.

Super Greek restaurant with excellent food. There are 'British' options available too and a good cocktail menu
Went for an evening meal, service was good and attentive, portion sizes are fine. Didn't really gel with the food to be honest which is a shame. The quality seemed fine. Just the flavour wasn't there for me. Seemed very popular so maybe it was just us.
We visited here on Sunday 1/9/24 we really enjoyed our Sunday Carvery & drinks, they were lovely. We sat in the outside pod with dog. The pods are lovely and comfortable. The staff were friendly and excellent.
We were quite surprised at how shabby the interior has become, definitely in need of cleaning and upgrading. The food was tasty and plentiful, but my husband became poorly the same evening with stomach cramps. It's a shame as the service was great.

We visited after seeing this place go viral on TikTok. We thoroughly enjoyed the food here, and it's true, as much as you can eat. Good tasting food with a wide variety of options.
Wasn't particularly busy when we went (Tues 20th Aug) The tables were all dirty . We ordered our food - my husband ordered fish and chips - it got sent back as there was no fish - just a lump of batter !!! ( we were refunded that) I had a cheeseburger and chips - see photo - it was dire !!! Should have gone to McDonald's!!!
Went for carvery as only place still serving late on Sunday afternoon. Tables were filthy and had to ask twice for table to be cleaned. Sign outside said £5.50, turns out that is child price under 12. Adult £12.99. Meat variety was good, enjoyed the carrots although the rest of our party didn't. Gammon was very nice but other meats were very dry. Everything over cooked. Parsnips like rock, roast potatoes tasted like they had been cooked in old oil. Yorkshires although huge were tasteless. No mash, peas or cauliflower cheese. My son couldn't eat his meal and got his money back. The rest of us ate what we could. Certainly will not be returning. Toilets disgusting 😫😫
Great little place, food was lovely and service was great, they were very busy when we went but we were still served and looked after quickly. Thought the food was a little bit expensive but not ridiculous. Overall fantastic.

Alright carvery, nowhere near enough selection. Would’ve liked mash at the bare minimum. No turkey either so I had the pork but that was lovely to be fair. Great atmosphere and friendly staff but I would be lying if I said I was satisfied after my meal.
Absolutely shocking!!!!! We went for a Sunday dinner as we were all hungry and ready to eat. We went to the top floor and ordered. The options were very limited!! No veg just carrots that were really dry, meat wasn’t greatly cooked, the beef was far too salty. The roast potato’s were so dry. Another thing was the tables are far too close together so couldn’t pull chair out much to sit down.The only thing I enjoyed was the large Pepsi max!! I will definitely not be returning or recommending it to anyone!!!
Nice pub in the Centre of Skegness. Good disabled access with a lift to all floors. The place was clean and the staff were welcoming. £4.20 for a bottle of corona. It had plenty of seats available when I visited. It looks like they have entertainment in the evening but can’t confirm as I visited in the daytime. Nice atmosphere and pleasant surroundings.

I Took my wife and grand daughter in for a carvery. The upstairs carvery and bar had young staff and a manager that took ages to serve the people waiting to order .Then the carvery queue was building up and customers getting frustrated with the wait T The staff were still not serving for a good 15 minutes , eventually a young lady appeared and started to start to carve the meats which was obvious that she not slicing the meat properly or the knife was blunt and all the meats she carved broke up just like pulled pork. the meats we had was dry tasteless. Roasts potato’s dry, carrots dry. We started to eat but it was so awful I stopped complained to the young female duty manager. I showed her the quality of the food we’re were served . She agreed to refund two out of the three carvery’s, but not my wife’s, because she had started to eat the Yorkshire pudding but nothing else. It’s the worst expensive carvery experience I have ever had, customer experience we had was not good and whilst we sat at our table we heard two other customers complaining I I won’t be going back,, or recommending it my friends or family.
Me and the wife called in and managed to get a table, what a lovely place. The food was amazing, I had sirloin steak and it was a huge piece with hardly any fat and was cooked to perfection. The wife had lasagne and of course I stole a bit (who doesn't?) and again it was amazing, one of the best lasagne I have ever had! Would definitely recommend to any one to go! We will definitely be back again!
Overall a very poor experience, went at approximately 8pm on Saturday evening and it was not very busy, the staff were all miserable, was really disappointed with the food as it was only warm and not the greatest selection, if you have seen the create your own burger advertisement then you will be extremely disappointed as you get nothing that looks like it. A positive was the pizza which was quite good. The desert choice was minimal.

Extremely disappointed today 04/07/2024, been Twice so far so this week Monday 01/07/24 & Wednesday 03/07/24 me and my wife had the 2 meals for £12 and was really nice, both times my wife had the fish with mushy peas and it wasn't a problem but today the girl behind the bar said that we were not allowed to have the mushy peas that it wasn't an option on the 2 meals for £12, how can it change in just 24 hours. What ever happened to the customer is always right? We asked to speak to the manager but was told that there was no manager on duty today which is hard to believe. This was our favourite place to come and have a nice meal every time we came to Skegness but not anymore!! Will definitely NOT be going back to the Welcome inn. Such a disappointment!😡😡

We came tonight with our 2 dogs . We sat outside it’s a beautiful area to sit in . From the moment we arrived we were treated so well. The lady serving us is so lovely so was the man that brought our food out. The food was delicious and plentiful we will definitely come back again. So sorry we forgot to tip as well deserved one .

Alright place but it does seem like the lasagna isn’t freshly made. It does taste nice but the meat is dry so it’s either over cooked or it was cooked then froze to cook. Plus it was quite small portion. Rather had more lasagna than chips. You get lots of chips with your meals which taste good. There’s a server that’s very lovely guy compared to the woman. Place does need a deep clean tables are super sticky and aren’t cleaned up often. Meals come out quick. But you don’t get ice in your drinks
Food comes cold. You get a portion of chips for a 3 yr old. Lasagna was just a small strip. Chicken tikka had small man bread poppadom tasted like paper. Food comes out fast but most likely microwaves. The rice defo came out of a container as it was clumped together and freezing cold. The tikka was like warm the spice is the only heat you can get. The burgers were alright. Not worth the money. Under £70 for 5 drinks and 5 meals for cold small portions. The plates are hotter than the meal
Quite empty for a wednesday night in Witson week ? Burgers ok , fish not bad , however " steak & gravy pie" wasn't sure if it was gammon / pork or some scraps of steak ... veg like bullets & mash still had powder in it ( not stirred properly) couldn't use gravy to soak it up as like custard with thick skin . No staff around to check meal ok
Not the best night if I'm honest. We paid £16.50 for Chicken and ham in a garlic and cream sauce. We got this with little salad and frozen chips. Very over priced for the food. In my opinion. The young waitress was running round trying to deal with most tasks and looking flustered. The Atmosphere was choice and on some occasions personable. I have given a 3 star but only because the wine was nice and the building and decor was lovely. Would I return? Maybe but they need to rethink the prices of the mains.

What an amazing visit I had. AC DC tribute band was amazing. The place was on fire with fantastic fibes and music. Atmosphere was unreal. I'll be calling in again on my travels back and forth. Not sure if they have events on all year round but I certainly stumbled across an amazing one. Bar staff so friendly and efficient and enough of them to cope with high volumes of people. A massive outside space to sit in nicer weather. Try it you won't be disappointed. Didn't try food sorry maybe next time.

Went to The Olive yesterday for a meal. I had the Pollo Vesuvio and my friend had the Margarita pizza. We were both very happy with our dishes and the service. Nice atmosphere and the staff are very friendly. Will definitely go again in the future.

A hidden gem on the main street on the top floor of Lucky Strike building! Food is very tasty and pocket-friendly, came hot out of the kitchen, portions are quite big. You can see Skegness sea panorama while you eating. There is kids play area very next door so it gets very noisy sometimes...

My sister & I came to have lunch a few weeks before Christmas, been a few times before food always pretty good, we sat upstairs by the fire, didn't really wait long for food, my plate was put Infront of me & there was a hair on my plate, I took the food back downstairs & showed them. My food came again & i did wait hardly anytime for my "fresh food". I know the hair had been just taken off the plate & put under a heat lamp as my side salad was hot & the lettuce was wilted. There was no offer of a discount or even a free drink nothing just an apology.
Well we've been 3 times now for their £5 lunchtime special, their Christmas 3 course dinner and on the 3rd occasion the normal menu.

Went here yesterday after hearing good things about the food. Booked a table and my friend and I were impressed by the cosiness and welcome feel. We decided to go upstairs to eat and on bringing out the food we were amazed at portion size the food was hot, presented well and tasted delicious. Fresh veg lovely gravy. Can't fault it we will be back.
Update: We still really can't fault this lovely little restaurant. The service was excellent, the food was really tasty and fresh. Not over-seasoned or over-sweet. The atmosphere was welcoming and prices were very reasonable. Just been back for my birthday and had a wonderful time. Highly recommended 🤩
Absolutely amazing home cooked food for a family of 6. Children's portions were amazing and out kids loved the ice cream included. The adult meals were fresh and home cooked. Throughly recommend this restaurant to other potential customers. Also dog friendly.
We had the £5 special here today. The special was a full on roast pork dinner. Honestly, we couldn't believe the generous portion on our plates. The food was very tasty. Absolutely good value for money and can thoroughly recommend. We also had some homemade pumpkin cheesecake which was delicious. Will definitely be back.

A bit disappointed, in the summer we sat outside and the atmosphere was excellent, last week i actually went in and maybe I was expecting the same sort of atmosphere but mid afternoon there were a lot of people who clearly had been drinking all day, the language was not very good, they don’t serve food which considering the size of the place surprised me. There was nothing wrong with the decor plenty of televisions, pet friendly and children friendly, need to try again, maybe I was expecting to much

my meal was thechicken tikka so yummy. but a little bland. very white person. add some spice please. also great atmosphere but about 8 years ago they used to do mac n cheese which was the best i ever tasted in my whole life. however now its not on the menu. i miss that mac n cheese. i think about itdaily. please put it back on the menu. my heart is empty because its void of that delicious meal. my family didnt like their meals either. great view tho good for watching people and playing smash or pass. would come again.

Always drop in for one when in Skeg every bank holiday, music always good, drinks reasonable, maybe we hit it wrong, but it's always empty? I often wonder if in the wrong place, do folk even know it's here 🤔
Food was lovely for lunch, quick and easy service. Food came hot and quick from the kitchen. Everyone enjoyed their meals, food and drink were fairly priced for what you got. Will visit again!
My husband has an egg allergy, Vito the manager was very helpful and got the allergen book and went through all the dishes and desserts my husband could or couldn't have. All the staff were very helpful and polite,we ate there for 4 nights as the ready buffet was good but the cooked to order food like seafood risotto, burgers, pasta dishes, grilled meats was delicious and delivered hot to your table . There has been some negative reviews here alluding to poor quality food and lack of variety, but for us thats just not the case, can't recommend this place highly enough.

Decided to have lunch here , menu was reasonable . Was presented with a burger that looked lonely without salad , a small ramekin of chips ( frozen generic type ). Expecting better but unfortunately let down .
Drinks prices were very expensive . Minor redeeming factor was the ability to have. Drink / Meal combination .

We came here and were able to stay overnight in our van 😊 the staff were brilliant, so friendly and welcoming! We had a meal which was really lovely. It was a Saturday so the wait on the food was a while however the restaurant was very busy so it was expected! We will be returning on our travels 😊
Nice pub serving good food at a great price. No complaints from 4 people who normally find fault with something. It’s very dog friendly and that’s the main reason we chose the place in the first place.
We visited last night for the first time after a glowing recommendation from a family friend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Started with the antipasto to share. Then we both had the spaghetti carbonara each and both enjoyed it.

Went to a northern soul night, the venue was fantastic, the drinks and food where very reasonable, the atmosphere was brilliant, the staff were great very helpful, very clean, could not fault the place
We always pop in for a coffee when visiting Skeggy, its always busy and the food looks lovely but we never have any room after fish and chips. We love sitting near the window and watching life go by.

OMG - this place has loads of room inside and out - staff are friendly and the food is sooooo good !! look at the onion ring stack ! they are the best i've had in a long long time - great food guys, we'll be seeing you again, thankyou 👍

The bar maid was really friendly and very polite. I was looking for ages for a pub where my dog is allowed and i saw her outside collecting glasses and asked her, she gave my dog water and only charge me a pound for some sausage. Will be visiting again.

Went in for a visit before we went to our Caravan park and got a few drinks. Prices for the drinks were reasonable and the seating both inside and out was large with a bouncy castle area for the kids, unfortunately on our visit 2 of the bouncy castles were not working. The drinks we got were some Cokes and 2 slushies the coke was fine but the slushies tasted off and the kids didn't like them very much. However, friendly staff quick service and what looks like a good food menu.

Great location as just opposite the train and bus station and at the end of chip pan alley, ad its known, the paved over road down to the sea front.
Ordered a large cooked breakfast and it was very well cooked, no grease at all. Good service too.
We stayed to watch the singer as it started raining. He did two sets, really good entertainer and good voice too.
Later on in the afternoon a band came on stage but not our taste in music.
Busy throughout the day, with groups of adults meeting up for a drink. Lovely beers. Always been one of my favourite pubs in Skegness and still is.

The place, the view and the service are great, but I can’t say it for the food. I got an hamburger “Cheese bacon burger” and the only thing that was warm was the burger itself, the bun was cold and there was some not melted cheese as well. The “Chorizo” pizza and it tasted worse than a frozen pizza you buy at the supermarket. Anyway, the whole menu was 20% off so if you are looking to save some money and eat an “OK” food, this is the place. Again, the view is really nice and the service was good.
Been coming here for a few years now. New menu, good food, had the seafood platter, very tasty. Well worth a visit if you are on the sea front at Skegness, head for Lucky Strike, and take the lift or stairs to the top. Nice views, friendly staff.

Kids meal was also good my son at it all, chips were nice and crispy and soft.

Been meaning to try the carvery here for years. Finally had one today, very fresh and well cooked vegetables the beef melted in your mouth. It's help yourself and it's served between 11.45am - 16.00.. Also dogs welcome.

Great views and baguettes tasted great. Hot cajun chicken baguette sauce was really nice on the side too.
