I am giving 4 stars because I believe there is always room for improvement. However, I can state I have never been disappointed. The restaurant is clean. The servers know the menu items and are very helpful. My last visit Megan did a great job of greeting us, seating us, explaining the soup of the day and suggesting menu items. #ShopLocal

Riverside is one of the best restaurants in town. The food is delicious and they give you a generous amount of food for your money. Meg was my waitress today as she did an excellent job as always, I will definitely be back!

I always have a pleasant time at Riverside and the food is always good but I have such a good time when Megan is my server. She's such a delightful girl and she gives off the best energy. One time I spilled my full drink all over the table and floor and just as Megan had finished cleaning it up... my sister knocked her drink over. We felt so bad but Megan never showed a bit of bother or burden and she even made us laugh through what was such an embarrassing moment for us. I can honestly say that I'm not sure I've ever had a better server anywhere and she's definitely what keeps me coming back to Riverside.

My boyfriend and I love eating here. Liz is always on top of things and does a wonderful job helping us enjoy our time eating here. Thanks Liz

My server Sabrina was great! She was very attentive and friendly. My food came out promptly and was absolutely delicious! Thank you for making my experience at Riverside cafe worth while!

I ordered the Riverside breakfast today. It was terrific! I especially liked their French toast with sugar-free syrup. My server, Kalynn, always had a smile and was very efficient even though it was a busy time!
I also really like their Reuben sandwich.

excellent first visit! short wait for a packed sunday. we tried their chicken and waffles and corned beef hash skillet. both dishes were perfectly prepared, flavorful and fresh. the corn meal waffles came with a delicious strawberry orange marmalade butter! coffee was pretty dang good too. well worth the price.

Just moved to Muncie and I was in the mood for Chinese food. I was not please with the blan taste of my pork fried rice it was a take out order the rice was dried and it look like they used orange food coloring. I think this restaurant needs a new cook. Sorry CK I will not waste my money at your Restaurant again.

I really like this place. My husband and I come here frequently. Only thing is, I think it’s absurd that one single American cheese slice on a tenderloin costs an extra $2.99? And onion added and pickle added are $0.99 each? Why? If there’s an up charge for toppings then what is supposed to come on the tenderloin to begin with? Or does it just come plain?

Had the beef Manhattan lunch special.

Decided to order delivery last minute tonight and My expectations were beyond exceeded. Not only did my delivery get here 45 minutes sooner than expected. My crab rangoons were stuffed and folded with pure love. the shrimp and broccoli had really good flavor and to my surprise my 2 year old ate a lot of it as well. Very well priced and my name will be on the order screen again soon lol

I enjoyed the food and the hometown atmosphere. Bacon was crispy and good. French toast was delicious! Excellent service! Sabrina was amazing and was such a wonderful hostess! I will be back😊

We went here because our usual place Asian Kitchen on McGalliard was closed on a Monday. Wen we ordered and heard the price, we thought wow, we pay more at the other place for the same order. After getting home and opening our food we see why. Asian Kitchen your containers are so full that it almost spills out when you open it. Here, hardly anything. Less food and a lot less taste. Won't be making the mistake of going back there again. We'll stick with Asian Kitchen.

Used to be such a good restaurant and you used to get a lot of food. This container is hardly filled. And just did not taste very good at all. Very disappointed.

I’m extremely disappointed. The customer service was fine - but I got home and dove into my food, and it tasted like they either cooked it in 8 week old used grease, or they pretty much just reheated 4 week old rice.. and the veggies were cold and undercooked. I will NEVER order here again. My first and LAST time ever eating here.

With that said - any advice on how to get this nasty aftertaste out of my mouth, because I have eaten something separate, brushed, and rinsed with mouth wash, and it is still lingering.

Also, this is literally the only bad review I’ve ever left.. ANYWHERE.

Came all the way from Anderson, this was THEE WORST food I ever had from any Chinese restaurant! My husband and I ordered the General Tso's Chicken, the chicken was hard and it wasn't very fresh! The two gentlemen who were working the register and counter were very unprofessional, they were just sitting, no greeting, these two gentlemen were dressed like they were hanging out instead of working, and it looks rather bad they had a friend hanging out in the restaurant, it just didn't look good for business, we have already decided that we won't be returning to this establishment, didn't like the atmosphere, didn't care for the unprofessional service, the lack of taste in the food, the fact that the item we ordered was very hard to eat! This restaurant really doesn't stand a chance of staying open with food this unpleasant and staff that was very unprofessional!

Have had the General Toas many times and was good.
Last order lacked any sauce and I have knawl on steak bones more tender than the chicken

Shout out to the kitchen!!!! Hands down some of the best food I have eaten. Usually it's an amazing steak, tonight a Bacon Cheeseburger. I honestly think this is possibly the best burger I have eaten in my 44yrs on this earth. I could eat this every night. It was all so good, but the burger takes the cake. Thanks for another good night filled with good food.

I ordered the red beans and sausage. If you ask me, they had been in a slow cooker for days. Absolutely terrible. The young man working was the only employee in the entire store. He was very polite and working his tail off. I didn’t bother to complain to him because he was truly doing his best. Owners need to get their place staffed or shut the doors. I will never eat there again.

Our food was awful. The rangoons and egg rolls weren't cooked and were just full of grease. The egg rolls only had cabbage in them,
despite our order being for 2 shrimp and 2 pork. Our general tso's chicken had NO sauce. Our soups were both bland and neither had the correct ingredients. The only reason we will go back to this restaurant is to get our refund.

We love old saloons, so this was perfect! The broasted pork chop blew me away, like 2inches thick, juicy, hot! Nachos were fantastic! Real cheese, no liquid cheese, tons of meat, green pepper and onion, fish dinner was just one piece of fish but he loved it. Great waitress, cold draft beer. We got clams, taco sticks and mushrooms. The bill was much less than I expected! Going back soon!!!!!

The food is good, our server Trina did a great job considering we had a very large group on a busy night.

I cannot express how much i going to yats to get food. It seems every time i go into the building there’s a sweet girl named Austen working. She has the best attitude and her customer service is remarkable. She is super sweet and helpful in suggesting how to make my meal better. A few times I’ve noticed (like today) that she then goes and makes the food herself after taking the order. Her ability to multitask while still smiling under what seemed a busy situation she handled all on her own was impressive. The food she served to me was absolutely delicious and fresh. If she doesn’t already, she should own this business because she does her job so well and should be recognized as the great employee she tends to be time and time again when i have come in! Great food and worker!

My family LOVES going to Yats when we are in the area and need a quick, healthy meal! The food is AMAZING and so homey feeling! The atmosphere is so relaxed and chill. We absolutely love our servers too! Especially Austen, who makes a point to remember us and what we like most! Austen is always so kind and welcoming. Austen is also so patient and not rushed when a ton of guests come in. Each guest leaves feeling their needs have been met and they’ve gotten amazing service, too!

This location never misses a beat! The food is always fresh, everything is always so clean and well ran. I had such a great experience with Austen as my server. She was so personable and you can tell she puts her heart into her work!! I will definitely be back soon!

First of all if you want an "American bar as seen in theaters": this is what I think of. I'm not personally fond of the atmosphere because it seemed somewhat depressing, but it's what I imagine most bars to be like in the morning.

As for the breakfast, I'm going to be blunt: they should open at 11AM. This was, without hyperbole, one of the most disappointing breakfasts I've ever had and especially been served: 1) The pancakes crumbled merely by lifting them up, I couldn't even butter the ones underneath without feeling like I was doing a puzzle, 2) the coffee tasted like it was made from a 30 year old Mr. Coffee with shoe water, 3) and the bacon was hanging on for dear life trying not to be presented as entirely burnt... it was a mess.

I liked the staff and patrons a lot. They seemed down to earth. I felt oddly unwelcome for coming in to eat the breakfast they literally serve, but then again they could just not be morning people and I'm used to grumpy Midwesterners.

On the plus side: I hear their lunches are especially fantastic so hit that up if you're curious. Not that I would after that fiasco of a breakfast, but I still encourage others to try them out and make their own opinion.

I give food service and atmosphere a five star review. Can't beat the service and atmosphere! Food always delivers for me. It is somewhat spicy which I like!

They gave us samples and immediately decided to eat here after a sample! Excellent customer service. Vegan White Chili is comfort food for a rainy day. Delicious! Large portion and filling. I’ll be back.

2 Filet mignons at our table. Both were over cooked. They must be cheap prepackaged cuts too. Hostess was great. Liked to open atmosphere too.
Men's bathroom could use some updates and cleaning.

I love their food but this will be the last meal I get from there. The cooks acted like it killed them to do their job and literally took over 20min to make it with no other food orders. They raised their prices which fine I understand but they really need to evaluate their portions cause this is ridiculous $2.50 for fries and $3.50 for onion straws as you can see in the pics. Bartender was more concerned about over pouring drinks than to hand me my food which had sat there in the window not to mention drinking on the clock. Onion straws were over cooked and hard.

Wife and I went to Timbers for lunch. My tenderloin was amazing and took up the plate. Fries were great. Wife's burger was cooked perfectly. The staff were very friendly and treated us like old friends. We will definitely be going back and recommending this place to everyone.

Laid back environment. Always has decent food and a variety of menu items for everyone. Prices are super reasonable. Staff can be a bit hit or miss at times but, for the most part, are always friendly and attentive. Not a huge drink selection but they have the basics covered.

We will be back! Food and service was great. We had the meat lovers skillet and southwestern omelette with pancakes. Sugar free syrup is available upon request. Pancakes were fluffy and absorb the syrup. Our waiter was great and answered our questions. Lighting is a little dark but the place is nicely decorated and clean.

Great place. Food is good. Lacks tasting 100% authentic (although many make gumbo different). Had the gumbo and the jambalaya. Amazing customer service. They'll even let you sample dishes. The bread is just wow!! I highly recommend this place!!

The owner and staff were very friendly and the chicken was delicious! They were my favorite chicken wings I've had in Muncie. I can't wait to catch a show here someday soon.

Fantasic food, the chicken was incredible. A very cozy atmosphere and very friendly service. I would highly recommend Jazz and Blues Kitchen.
