Exquisite! The best meal I have had in ages! There is an excellent selection of dishes and all the pasta is made fresh, in house, everyday. The desserts were phenomenal. Our waiter was outstanding! Just outstanding, fun, friendly and knowledgeable. I am a top 10% restaurant reviewer on Google so I eat out a lot and I have to say this place is one of my all time favourites. This is a place with Simple Excellence and not Complicated Mediocrity like many places.
Lovely staff and atmosphere - highly recommend the pasta with mushrooms and truffle oil that’s a regular on the menu. The Bolognese was unfortunately slightly bland, but all other meals I’ve ever had including apps and salads were delicious! Great place for an intimate dinner or a larger group. Will be going again soon!
Came for dinner on a Sunday evening. We were seated at the back patio outside (which I preferred than the front patio watching traffic on Farmington Ave). The wait staff were courteous and efficient. The food was all delicious and well seasoned.
The food was amazing and the staff was very busy staying on top of things. However, I guess the Air Conditioner wasn't working in the section they sat us in, so we roasted in our own juices for the entire meal. Towards the end, I asked the waiter to at least open a window to let in a breeze for some air movement, and he opened it for a few minutes before it was closed again. Might try it again when it's not 91 degrees outside.
Stopped by for dinner on a Monday night and enjoyed sitting outside in their covered patio area. They had a nice selection on the menu and everything was reasonably priced. Delicious zucchini blossoms, Cacio e pepe, and rigatoni bolognese. Our waitress was friendly and took great care of us. We will definitely return!

VERY BAD SERVICE EXPERIENCE. Waitress were literally lecturing us how we should put in order for her convenience. Ordered a take out and called in wanted to ask them if we can add an egg on the side. And her response was “we can’t just add an egg for free”. Well, no one said we are not paying… But this waitress giving me a feeling that we want to take advantage of her or something. The order arrived missing the extra noodles that we originally order. Called in, waitress lied that she putted the extra noodles in the package and starting to lecturing me how we should be more clear on the order so it’s clear to her we want extra noodles. But who’s the customer here? Why don’t u lecturing me on how to make a noodle pot, which might be more helpful. And if the waitress indeed put the extra noodles there why is she asking us to make the order more clear? 🤯 Again, Who is the CUSTOMER?
First time to Bricco was everything I expected it to be. Great vibe, service, and excellent food. Our waiter Zack was attentive, personable, and recommended some great dishes. Eggplant parmigiana was delicious!
This place NEVER disappoints. I’ve been coming here for over 20 years and have never had a bad meal. I’ve never even had an ok meal. It’s always incredible. Food is consistently fresh and delicious - from salads to entrees to pizza to dessert. The waitstaff is always accommodating and friendly. One of the best restaurants in the Hartford area.
Update: They have behind the restaurant parking. I just parked in the front because I was new lol.

The ground beef already comes with it in and the Glazed Buns were a great blend of sweet but not overly sweet. The parking is a little tedious but once you find a spot you're set! Will definitely return ❤️.

I’ve been going here for probably 20 years, it’s one of my favorite spots! The shaken beef and shaken chicken are my favorites, along with the wonton soup. The staff is always super friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!
Melissa took excellent care of my husband and I for our first visit to Bricco! We celebrated our 1 year anniversary and it was perfect! The peppered tuna was fantastic! We had fried calamari, bacon wrapped dates, salad , lemon cake desert and espressos! The Aperol spritz was also delicious! Ambiance was relaxing but beautiful! 10/10 we traveled from new haven to visit! Was definitely worth the 45 minute ride! Thanks Bricco!
The appetizers and entrees were mouthwatering!!! Definitely will go back to try more dishes. It is a very popular spot so go early.
So so good! Literally hit the spot. The soup dumplings and buns were so flavorful and texture was perfect. I had the nummy noodles with egg and corn added. So freakn good. I'm still thinking about it !

Great spot for an excellent lunch. I usually get the little pot with either chicken or minced pork. I had some of the others as well. Service is excellent, but if you’re here for a vibe it’s not that kind of place. Bring a friend you like for good conversation. The only thing I wasn’t a huge fan of was the soup dumplings. It likely came down to my palate preferences.
Yummy, we enjoyed the pork buns. I thought my boyfriend's nummy soup was better than my little pot soup. Solid Asian fusion restaurant.
If you're looking for a satisfying filling meal with great service you've made the right choice. Everyone is so nice and definitely top of the list for all occasions - date night, occasion dinner, girls lunch or treating mommy out.

Best Vietnamese food in Connecticut. Small family business that caters to their customers. I love Chicken and lemon grass and Fried Egg Rolls. No frills just delicious authentic Vietnamese food.

The place was empty when i was there. The food was alright, but I had better. The waittress tried hard to be accommodating. When I'm back in the area, I'll probably try the other Vietnamese restaurants nearby
Got take out, it was great. They have a whole separate vegan menu. I got Drunken Noodles with Steamed Tofu. Nice cozy place for a date, great atmosphere, friendly staff. I'll definitely be back, try more and will follow up here.
My husband has been eating lunch here for over 5 years now and has never been disappointed. Authentic homemade fresh Vietnamese delicious food !!! Run , dont walk if you want to taste lllthe best Pho in this area. Sizzling pancakes are out of this world fantastic as is their entire extensive menu. I had the most pleasant experience today with Kim as our server. They have been around for 35 years … Totally doing everything right
Hot Basil is one of our favorite go to restaurants in the region. They are family owned and operated. Their food is exceptional and provides a wide flavor profile. The owners are super friendly and always go out of their way to insure their customers are happy. We couldn’t be more pleased with their operation and dedication to excellence.
The pad Thai was unremarkably flavored. Our Thai iced tea was great. Finally, the yellow curry failed to boast something engaging and worthwhile. Watery curry base, a tenuous burst of flavor. The vegetables were tough and chewy, curry presented well, but tasted off. Would not recommend.
Treva was on of the best dining experiences we have had in a very long time. Everything from the food to service was top notch. The cocktail program was diverse while offering lots of classic Italian options. The food stuck to Italian roots and what perfectly executed. We will definitely be returning. Our waiter, Khalid was amazing.
My food did not make it home! I enjoyed it to the fullest. I’m glad I did not listen to some of these reviews. I am satisfied! Inside was clean and cute. The girl who took my order was friendly and patient with me.
I came here with my Wife for dinner. Place was busy and there was a lot of going on inside so we sat down outside.
We both ordered N.Y. Sirloin that were cooked and seasoned to perfection. Good size cut of meat for the price. Sides were delicious and plentiful. Bread prior to meals was delicious.

Best pad Thai I've had in CT. Great option if you're in the mood for Thai food. Crab Rangoons are solid too. Overall the food is great, but there's a spice/vegetable that is in a few things that I could do without (tastes like spicy licorice). The price is a bit high too, but that may just be a function of inflation...
Lunch today was amazing. We started with the Brussels sprouts - A+. I had the really fresh arugula salad with grilled chicken to perfection - their lemon vinaigrette was so light and flavorful. My husband had the sausage gnocchi which was superb and both dishes were so plentiful we brought half home. Service was perfect (as always) and next time we have to try some of those Italian meats…
Absolutely fantastic place. The dumplings are so delicious. The decor and atmosphere and music ✅. The prices are worth the quality, taste, and quantity of food.
If asian fair is on your mind no one in west Hartford does it better than nummy! We drive over an hour just to taste the outstanding broth of the little pot(pictured dish) the combinations of texture in the soups is the best I have ever tasted I would definitely recommend trying something even if it's beyond your comfort level because everything they serve here is with care and come out fantastic! Shout out to the owners and staff that always make us feel us accommodated and taken care of!
Edit - Food quality is very unpredictable! Last 3 experiences here have been very very bad ! Uncooked veggies in stir fry , watery Thai curry !

This is our family’s favorite restaurant! We have been going for over 33 years and the food is the freshest and most authentic Vietnamese cuisine around. We like the delicate balance of sauces and spices, with fresh vegetables. They make their own tofu in-house and it is amazing! Also, their portions are generous, so it’s great to take the rest home. The restaurant is not fancy, but it’s very comfortable - we like its family atmosphere and everyone who goes there is welcomed in a personal way and recognized with warmth. They are grateful for your business, and treat their customers like old friends. They have our highest recommendation!
Staff was very good. When I eat ethnic foods I really don’t want to hear American pop or anything but authentic music. I did not like that they kept seating people close to us when there was so much room. It was a little loud - save that for when the place is busy. When it’s not give people space. Anyway, food was presented well and looked great; however it lacked authenticity - maybe over-cooked and not the Thai flavor I get in NY. The Thai iced tea was great and the fried ice cream. We ordered fried calamari (good), chicken satay (average), pad Thai, drunken noodles and a cashew dish - these three were very bland. Also the bathroom was really bad and looked like no one details it. I understand with covid restaurants are short-staffed.
Hard to believe this place is still in business. Just got takeout from here for the first time in about 6 years. What a mistake! No flavor at all. Food tastes as if I tried to make Thai food myself this is the way it would come out. Or if McDonald's attempted to serve Thai food, this would be it.
There are microwave frozen Thai dishes with more flavor. It's a big disappointment. There are other local Thai restaurants that taste like Thai food.

Food was great. Service was horrible. The fried buns with condensed milk were killer! My husband got the mega hot pot and he loved it. The eel rice bowl had a hefty portion but at the price point of almost $20 I would expect so.
The only reason it’s 4/5 stars is because the waitress/cashier lady was so rude and standoffish. She was on her phone when we walked in, didn’t bother looking up. I eventually walked over and tried placing a take out order. She had an accent which is totally fine (my entire family does too) but I had to ask her to repeat some words again because I didn’t catch it. She ended up sighing and yelling at me because I asked her to repeat her words. I felt like such an inconvenience to her even though I was a customer. The food is good but nothing special enough to come back and deal with that lady.

Picked up lunch from here and ordered the lunch Thai Basil with chicken and brown rice. Make sure to combine it! 😍 so good! And def have to dine in at dine in at some point because the ambiance is phenomenal.

Everything about this place was amazing! Small very quaint quiet with nice music in the background. No bar but it's a byob. The food was amazing I had salmon with a sweet chili sauce and it tasted just as amazing as it looked! The food was plated beautifully I felt like I was at a MasterChef restaurant we had chicken curry puffs and beef satay for appetizers and everything was fabulous... They seem to do a very good business there but the majority of it was take out. I will definitely be back..hope this was helpful..plz don't forget to hit LIKE if it was

Came here based on reviews. Ordered the chicken drunken noodles for lunch. Food was ready on time. Staff was friendly. Food was ok. It lacked flavor/sauce. Overall bland in my opinion. When it comes to drunken noodles this place does not deliver. Lunch portion comes with noodles only. Unlike other place who give you soup/salad or spring roll.
Great food, just amazing and mouth watering! A little on the pricey side but worth it in my opinion. Large portions and strong drinks make up for that hefty price. Nice staff & friendly inviting atmosphere overall.
After 30 years of dining here, it just seems to get better. Waitstaff is constant and friendly, atmosphere is same as it always is, strait forward, quaint, and spread out . The food is the real treasure though . Strait out of a kitchen in Vietnam, this cuisine is the best of it's kind in Greater Hfd.

I'm no stranger to Thai food. It's hot, it's sweet, it's sour and complex. But Hot Basil is one of the few places that gets it right! I came here today with my mom because I wanted something that would properly clear out my sinuses. The first thing that struck me was the decor. There were plants everywhere! Due to this, the air in the restaurant was crisp and fresh, and I didn't realize how much I appreciated that until I left. The place was cozy but not cramped at all and I enjoyed the quiet buzz of conversation from the other patrons. My mum got the Thai iced tea and it was yummy and fresh. We got the chicken satay for an app and the peanut sauce that it comes with is nothing short of f&$king delicious. The lunch combo comes with soup and spring rolls. I opted for the tom yum chicken soup, which was hot, sour, and loaded with fresh veggies and tender morsels of chicken. I ordered the drunken noodles with pork, and holy hot sauce, it was packed with flavor. You could tell that the veggies were fresh and that everything is hand selected. My meal was about $15 after everything was said and done. I'm definitely coming back
