Beautiful restaurant, interior for more fine dining attire, outside on the patio was perfect for a late summer dinner. Food was great . Will go back on future trips
Great place right in the center of Antwerp. Booked a table for my family while visiting the city. All the food we ordered was very delicious!!

Walked in for lunch on a Thursday and the owner couldn’t even stop her frivolous conversation to greet me.
I sat down and waited over 20 minutes while she talked to other patrons and even took a phone call.
Never once did the owner say hello or offer a menu to have me look over. The service experienced here isn’t just unprofessionally informal but rude.
How a business runs like this I do not understand.
After 20 minutes of waisted time, I decided to leave and support another restaurant.

Arrived in Antwerp and this was our first stop. Could not have picked a better first meal. Many thanks to Mr Joachim of Peebles for his warm welcome and amazing service. The staff and atmosphere of this place is really special.
Some days ago I went with my husband to celebrate my birthday in this restaurant. We made the best decision to have dinner here. My husband ordered the beef stew and I ordered the fish pot. It was delicious. Don't order appetizers, it's enough with one dish per person. The staff was very friendly and they spoke English. The restaurant it's in the city center near the cathedral. I recommend this place for a romantic dinner.
Nice mussels and fries on the terrace for lunch. Food came very quickly. Service was great! Small vol au vent portion. Lovely Brussels waffle. We loved our visit
Watch out for this tourist trap. We ordered mussels and stake with fries and the sauce and a small dish of ketchup cost you $$ too. It’s not really the money but Nicole and dime way of doing business is absolutely “inventive”.
The restaurant is located in the central but a quiet area. It was not crowded when we entered at around 12:00 on Monday and the food was served quickly.
The food was all excellent, especially tartare, truffle spaghetti and beef stew were very tasty. We’d love to visit again.

Great food and great location! The fish pot, beef stew were fantastic! The ribs were also good.
Our server was friendly, professional and accommodating from start to finish. We all loved our food and cleaned our plates! My son has celiac disease and they were especially accommodating to his needs, including a separate gluten-free plate with GF bread. He appreciated that they even gave him separate butter. Menu items with gluten are clearly marked with * so it was easy for my son to navigate the menu. Thank you for your thoughtful service!
Loved this place! Fish pot and meat kebab were great, the garlic potatos tasted excellent and there was a small side salad on the house. Reservation recommended!
Overall Good food, but sardines was canned. I don’t understand how you can charge 13 € for caned food.
Booked De Pottekijker for my birthday dinner with my family and the experience was really good. Cozy atmosphere, great food. The slow cook ribs were amazing as was the fish pot. Will come back again!

This case runs bad food which left me with food poisoning. They hide the bad comments and keep saying they are fake. While the only thing that is fake are the people there and the business. This business deserves to be closed down, horrible how that they treat their customers! Their food is disgusting.

We had a scampi in garlic sauce and a cocktail with brown shrimp as appetizers. Both of them are not bad, only my understanding of scampi is different from the restaurant. The main dishes we ordered are a fish pot and a beef stew. The fish pot is quite rich, there are shrimp, codfish, salmon, and mussels in a very creamy sauce. The beef stew is just okay. The flavor is rich and special, however, there is one particular flavor in it that is extremely strong and kind of covered all the other flavors... The drinks are fine.
They also served bread with butter but..butter in a small package...
I would recommend it as a dining place and I may revisit it if nothing else to try in this town, but I would not recommend any special dish that you really have to taste.
Forgot to mention, dog friendly! Very important! :-) We chose to dine outside because it was small and crowded inside for our dog.

The food at this restaurant was excessively expensive. Additionally, the portion sizes were small, making it difficult to satisfy one's appetite with the 3-course menus offered. Furthermore, the presentation of the dishes was lacking in quality. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant.
We had garlic mosselen and they were so sandy we could not finished. As well as a beer. The prices are a bit high.

One of our favourite restaurants in Antwerp. We visit regularly. The terrace in the summer is nice and the interior of the restaurant is beautiful too! Staff are so friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!
Stopped by around midnight to satisfy our late night cravings. The staff was very friendly and answered our questions, the service was quick. The Adana kabab was spot on and authentic, similar to the ones we had in Istanbul. The prices were reasonable, highly recommend.

Both options we’ve ordered had a very dry and hard meat. Seemed old and kept in the pan for showing ups. Hardly any souse and veg in. Fries not crispy at all. Vey disappointed.
It was time for dinner and I was craving a mix grill, and sometimes it is difficult for a restaurant to get it right. Then I saw Cappadocia on Google map as closest location and they had a mix grill. I went in, the waiter was super friendly and kind, I ordered the mix grill, and in 15-20min the food came, super fresh and excellent portion, I ordered it with a side of rice and it was amazing. I went back the next day because I craved it. A definite recommended restaurant for people looking for an authentic nostalgic Arabic grill food.
Despite without reservation the free table was found. Service was friendly. I had vitello tonnato but for the size it was pricey. Though the taste was delicious.
Yes, it's visually gorgeous inside, but when it comes to substance, it falls short. If you're looking for a dining experience that's more than just a pretty face, I suggest exploring other options. The food it is quite plain and just the minimum of hospitality.

We had a dinner for a couple. First - you have to book a table, otherwise it will be low chance that you will get a table when arrive.

Sorry to say for me but for me it the first time and last time that I will take out the orde here. I orde kapsalon kabab döner, the meat is very dry and hard. It look like a old meat that they were put for me (I have to troll more than half of kabab meat). Very disappointed!!!! Service also 0.

Their carbonade almost moved me to tears. To say it was divine would be an understatement, and I’m highly critical as this is my favorite dish. Do yourself a favor and try it, and get yourself the cheese croquettes too! When I called to make a reservation I was told they are fully booked - I asked my hotel to make a reservation for me and it worked. There were also some vacant places in the restaurant which weird. However, the atmosphere was great, the service was super kind and overall it was an unforgettable experience. Pets are allowed.
The kafta sandwich would be 4 or 5 star if it wasnt dry,the tagine is something else,beyond horrible and soo saturated in salt i could feel my blood pressure going through the roof

This is our favorite restaurant to go on a Sunday night because the kitchen always open bit late compared with other places, didn’t visit for couples of weeks and they just renewed the place and look amazing and modern touch of fancy, the food as always never disappoints, very friendly staffs, nice environment and lekker food!
Worst place, for no reason owner is telling me that I should talk Arabic and does obscene gestures. I was there a second time and he told me to eat somewhere else. i was shocked because other people order there and it was fine. Aside from that the place is very unorganized and dirty. This place Is an example of how some people treat others. Does not deserve the 1 star even

Niet wat het moet zijn!! Spaghetti bolognese?? Je krijgt alleen maar gekookte spaghetti er zit amper saus en gehakt in! Ik heb zelf tomatensaus bij toegevoegd ! Bij de burgers vragen we kaas bij ze doen nooit kaas ertussen!! In de broodjes amper groente en saus! Eten is altijd koud! Paar keren hier besteld maar altijd een teleurstelling! Ik bestel hier nooit meer !
Good place to eat in Antwerpen. They have a garden where they grow herbs and vegetables, so everything is farm to table fresh. I had the ribeye for $55 and my sides cost another $40. Not cheap but not too pricey. Also, its kind of a trendy but small place off the beaten path. The wait staff is super cool.

We were not happy. We had a table at the back of the garden next to the wall. The wall is covered in plants/ trees. The plants were full of mice. We understand that this can happen in a city, but then don't put the tables super close to the wall.
The service wasn't good either that particular evening because there weren't many waiters. No one came to check if we wanted more drinks or more food and we had to go and look for someone to order more. If there had been more waiters the experience would have been better as they could have taken the time to inform us about the right food quantities and to check in from time to time to see if everything was 'ok'. We had to wait for 1h and 20min for our food, but this could have been avoided if the waiters told us that first the cooks would prepare the starters for everyone in the restaurant (which we didn't take) and the main dishes would end up at the end of the queue. We then could have ordered some starters as well.

Before going to the theater we had dinner here, and what a delight it was. They serve local produce, which are very fresh and surprisingly tasty. I never had hops before so thought I’d try it and we weren’t disappointed; they look a bit like soybeans, they have a comparable crunch, but their flavor is so much richer. The witlof tarte tatin with goat cheese was delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is sober, which allows for good conversations. The service was friendly, knowledgeable about the ingredients and quick. I’ll most certainly go back.

Food is great particularly the fish and meat options are cooked very well. Nice open kitchen so you can see the team work from some tables. I would give this a 5 if it wasn't for the haphazard table service that were not attentive and felt like you were left alone for long periods of time waiting to catch attention. There is a terrace dining space and plenty of air flow in the restaurant.
Fine dining experience! The dinner is a 5 course meal. Amazing service and delicious food. They have a nice collection of wine. The restaurant is a bit outside of the city center.

Without doubt the best in town! I drive 20 km every time for this great food. Without doubt the best in Antwerp. Super friendly owner too! And the most important is: the owner succeeds in maintaining this high quality already for many years!
The food was very well presented, delicious and with sizable potions (I couldn't even finish my plate and had to have it parceled as takeaway). The host was quite friendly as well. I loved it and recommend it.

Fantastic wine list and really good food. The food is a fixed menu based around an eclectic mix of local and international ingredients. Spacious interior with a lot of light and high ceilings.
Cheap and tasty food. The house specialty is sandwiches made on Turkish flat bread. Fresh bread and ingredients and the owners care about what they are doing. There is love in the food.
