Wish I could give less than one star.
Worst customer service possible...
After placing an order and more than half hour after we were notified that order was coming we checked on status they said order was ready for pickup ...
When " manager " got on the phone (difficult to understand) one track talking never listening to customer!!!
Insisted that order was never scheduled for delivery.
We had an email that is was scheduled.
PLEASE GO ELSEWHERE, THIS IS SECOND TIME FOR THIS BURGER SPOT.
but never again... and for all I can advise here in Garden City.

It is a small place but very welcoming. The staff was very attentive. We had different burgers which were delicious. I eat vegetarian so I had the homemade vegetable pattie which it was tasty. I personally prefer crunchier texture but I would eat it again

Lady behind the counter was very sweet.

I ordered a ham egg and cheese and I received one slice of ham on the sandwich. It was the emptiest struggle sandwich I’ve ever been served. For $8 I’d expect more. Won’t be coming back. They should really not be so cheap with portions. There’s a Pantonos bagels next door and they aren’t stingy.

The service is so bad. I asked for two cheeseburgers with pepperjack and one of those with garlic sauce. I receive the burgers and only one of them has the cheese I asked for, on top of that the garlic sauce was just two drops, could barely taste it. I went up to the counter to ask for more and they said I had to pay, honestly a scam but ok, I said my hands are dirty can I finish the burger and get the sauce and pay after, which I have done before. The cashier makes a disgustingly fake giggle and says “you need to pay for it now”, I asked again and everybody looked at me like I had three heads. I don’t know why the employee was so cheap and annoying… I don’t thing I will be returning which is sad because i’ve been coming here for about 2 years but if that’s the case then so be it, many burger spots around, their loss 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

One of the best breakfast sandwiches I ever had. The French vanilla iced coffee is definitely a treat. The cashier lady was extremely nice and helpful aswell.

Was in garden city and wanted to do a quick breakfast . There were few coffee shops but the breakfast there was expensive. .went to bagel man and it was good . Not that crowded when we went . We all had various bagels with cream cheese .. 🥯 and it was good . Wish they toasted it more but it tasted good overall… service was good . Always smiling and greeting us . They had few tables inside and few outside to sit and eat . Parking is a bit difficult. Road side parking is tough. Good experience overall.. 4 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

It was my first time checking this place out. I love local spots where you can find friendly locals and great food for a good price. Let me be clear…None of that was found here! The food was terrible, me and my wife took one bite of the sandwiches and we threw it out. The fries were soggy. The onion rings were a disgrace to onions. Everything is obviously frozen. Contrary to what they advertise online. The employees weren’t that nice. Fake smiles as far as the eyes can see. And wait until you hear the price. 2 meals for $40. Absolutely ludicrous. You can eat at any sit down restaurant for less than that. Please take your business and your money elsewhere.

I've been a patron of this restaurant ever since 2013, when I was a student at Nassau. I live down south now, but always make sure I stop by for a bite every time I visit New York! Literally everything is good there and I've tasted every burger over the years, so here are some of my other recommendations: Garden City chicken sandwich, sweet potato fries, chicken salad with cilantro ranch dressing, cookies and cream milkshake, lemonade; etc. You seriously have to eat here!!!

I’ve been coming here for about a year since I started working close by and I can safely say that I have never ever had anything bad. The food is always fresh the burgers, the chicken the french fries are always perfect not too soggy not too crispy just right. Highly recommended

Very nice food and good service. Fish in the sushi tasted fresh.

Have had great experiences at the old location. Since the move, I have only been able to dine one time. Made a reservation and was told there was going to be a 45 minute wait minimum. Another time, put my name on the wait list and was told 30 minutes and got a call 1 hour and 30 minutes later. The takeout is a mess as well. Would love to see management step up and solve the reservation and walk in situation. The poor hostess was clearly overwhelmed and seemed to have no guidance from managers.

Randomly came here with some of my family and was pleasantly surprised! We got a bunch of different things and everything was good!

Ordered via delivery today, spent a fortune and I feel the portions were so tiny. The sushi rolls were microscopic compared to most sushi restaurants locally. The sesame chicken came with a tiny square container of rice. The delivery driver was also grumpy. Not certain if I will be ordering from here again.

I like being able to support local businesses while traveling. Bagelman is great! Fantastic bagel sandwich! Perfectly toasted, fluffy eggs, and make sure to order extra crispy bacon! The woman at the counter was super helpful and friendly. Customers are obviously regulars and also have great attitudes. Coffee is solid and piping hot! Really reasonable prices.

Ordered the sashimi appetizer and Alaska roll for takeout. Roll was salty but fine, sashimi however was really bad, wound up not eating it. Weird chewy texture, smell off one of the fish, and small sloppy cuts. I don't like leaving bad reviews but can't believe they served it in that condition.

What a wonderful experience we had. I booked a holiday party for some customers and everything was wonderful. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was wonderful with huge screen TVs playing mixed martial arts it was a lot of fun! The service was impeccable - they literally cater to your every need. My customers were delighted, and my expectations were far exceeded! whether you're going with a large group, with a few others, or just by yourself to grab some sushi, you won't be disappointed! I will be coming back and will, of course, entertain customers there again. What a great experience. Thank you, Kinha Sushi owners, management, and staff!

This was a very unique sushi experience with lots to enjoy. I usually just get sashimi when I go to sushi places but the sushi rolls they offer were just too good to pass up. Restaurant decor modern beautiful. great design!!! Their stuff very friendly. Highly recommend!!!

Great bagels and super nice people! I’m a native New Yorker who lives in Chicago and was in the area for work. Went to Bagelman for lunch and had a delicious bagel with cream cheese and lox. I left as they were closing for the day so they offered me a free bagel or two for the road since they make new ones fresh each morning. When I told them I was flying home to Chicago and that my family loves New York bagels, they loaded me up with a free big bag of them to take home with me. My family has been enjoying them all week! Customer service at its finest, and a great quality bagel!

I really like the food there. My friend recommended me to check it out and I am glad that I did.. We ordered different type of sushi and lobster miso soups. The soup very delicious !! My friends really love it too. We will come back. Highly recommended!

My boyfriend and I come here all the time. Although it's not big, it is very nice and clean with plenty of tables to dine in. The food is always great and fairly priced. The service is amazing. Everyone who works there is very kind. I truly recommend this place if you are in the area or an Adelphi student. As for rolls, the Adelphi roll, Redhead roll and 100A roll are delicious. Plenty of parking spots as well and the area is nice for a walk around.

We arrived at 9:30 on a Monday night, just before the 10 pm closing time, seeking a quick bite. Despite finishing by 10:06 pm, the experience was disappointing. Our order included two rainbow rolls and a specialty roll with mango, and unfortunately, the sushi fell below the standards of even gas station or grocery store sushi. This stands as the worst sushi experience I've had on Long Island – the rolls were poorly made, dry, and tasted horrible. The subpar quality, especially given the price, has led me to decide i will never come back here again. I strongly advise against choosing this place for sushi; opting for grocery store sushi would likely yield a better experience. This establishment doesn't deserve your business.

We visited here for the first time since moving into town 2 years ago. The food was decent but seemed overpriced. There are other options like Taku (even though it is not known as a sushi restaurant) that has better food and is cheaper. Also, this place charges a "non-cash fee" which is unfortunate.

Always our "GO TO" place... friendly service. TODAY ESPECIALLY grateful for the prompt 6am service to get 5 breakfasts and 5 lunch sandwiches together in record time!

Completely dissatisfied!! I order from this place for years, my orders are usually above fifty dollars… tonight the tofu that I normally enjoy didn’t not taste good at all I couldn’t eat it , it almost tasted like chemicals I called and told them in good faith what had happened asking for a credit on that one dish that was not at al edible. I was told that there was nothing that they could do for me unless I returned my order which I threw away. The place is filthy and they are rude !! I am very disappointed in how they would loose a customer over a few bucks.

Very cool ambiance- kind of retro classy, and somewhat gaudy but really original. It has a very interesting ambiance. The staff is friendly, attentive, professional and just downright awesome. The food is delicious. It's a bit more expensive but it's really, really good. - American Chinese food- i.e beef lo mein, fried wonton, sesame chicken, general Tsaos chicken, etc. Very Very good food. Pick up is good also but the vibe of eating in can't be beat. This place is one of a kind. Love it. Highly recommended 👌 get the general tsaos chicken, the beef looks mein and the Hot and Sour soup. Orchid has the best Hot & Sour soup I've ever tasted. 😋

Relaxing atmosphere with elevators and stores on the upper level. There's seats and plenty of parking. Found a real brick and mortar Lands End store here too which is pretty cool.

Why is there such a difference in the price of lunch vs dinner menu? This place can be even more nice if they do an update. The food is very good

Always ask for the price of a sandwich before you order it as they removed the prices off their menu. I got a simple sandwich, white bread, turkey, american cheese, and ranch. $13-$14 They didnt even put the ranch on it. Very friendly service but this is honestly a rip off.

First time here . We ordered sushi and ramen. We arrived at lunch time , they only offered dinner menu. I had to ask for the lunch menu… The food was decent but the service wasn’t welcoming. I will not return

An old school elegant Chinese restaurant. This is Chinese only, not asian fusion. They have the large wide crunchy noodles. It's a large place with a lot of seating. It's underground so lots of steps from the parking lot. There is an elevator by the rear parking lot entrance. Very enjoyable.

Delicious & consistent! Delivery takes a while when they are busy witch is understandable but pick up is ALWAYS ready within 10-15 minutes. Believe it’s family owned and operated very nice people. Highly recommend if you’re looking for consistent basic Chinese food!

This place is amazing. You can go to a lot of great stores in just one visit. A lot of good restos and perfect parking areas. Most people don't know that they have a basement parking area. But since they built this like earlier than 2013. We always park in the basement. It is located in the BENEATH and middle section of the building that is close to Ulta and Noodles and Co.. From clothing companies to restos to dessert places and even grocery to shoe and home stores... It is perfect! The crowd is above average and I always feel safe everytime we go here. Love the atmosphere!

Food is incredible and very fresh. Doesn’t take long at all for the food to be ready and the staff are all very friendly and efficient. Love coming here when I’m too lazy to make dinner!

I went to Trader Joes, and although it's a bit far for me, I like going here. The staff does a great job. Love the town names at the registers.

The only good thing about this place is the service. The food has no taste, chicken was rubbery, corn soup had pieces of corn husk in it, and the shrimp tasted undercooked. The carpets smell musty, and everything seemed like it could use a cleaning and a bit of an update. Not sure why this is everyone's favorite Chinese place, I've had better food from much cheaper Chinese restaurants.

The workers there are great and hard working. Food is always tasty and cooked throughly. I will be back!

We stopped in while visiting from out of town. We were there during the week and it was still relatively busy. The service throughout the night was outstanding. The ambience was really interesting. It felt high class. My Orchid Shrimp dish was excellent. A couple of the other dishes were overcooked a bit. We had two cocktails. My wife had a Malibu Bay Breeze that was very good. My Old Fashioned was very watered down. Even though everything wasn't perfect we still enjoyed our evening.

It's still amazing! It's a destination stop every time we are in Long Island!

I simply cannot rate Sushi Ya Garden City highly enough. We live in Delaware and it is our favorite sushi place because nothing in Delaware measures up. Kelly and Eric the owners are fantastic, and everything they make is devine. The quality and selection of sushi and sashimi is outstanding. The little touches like fresh wasabi (as opposed to the usual little green ball) are excellent. The pineapple fried rice served in a half pineapple shell are to die for. Hibachi is available. Simply in ambiance, service, and quality there is simply no place that is better. Give yourself a treat and spend some time here.

Good but not great. Pretty good sushi , plenty to choose from. The spring rolls are a bit too oily.

Went to Saks Off Fifth Avenue and it was a great experience. The sales representative was very friendly and gave me opinions on handbags I wanted to purchase. She was very efficient and knowledgeable.

I love walking around there and window shopping. All the stores are nice and clean, the parking lot of big so plenty of space to park. Food options are great there too!!

Plenty of shops. Love all the clothing stores available and the fact that you can end the day doing your groceries at trader Joe's. Parking is a bit hectic on the main floor but there's an underground lot that's rarely full.

A bunch of good shops and restaurants all next to each other! The Starbucks is especially good, along with Trader Joe’s. Parking can be difficult though, especially on weekends. I think there’s some underground parking but I’ve never used it- there aren’t any noticeable signs that tell people about that additional parking.
The stores seem to turn over relatively quickly (there used to be a bakery and a boutique, but those have both been replaced with new stores). I personally wish there were more interesting stores and restaurants than The Container Store and department clothing stores, but that’s just me- stuff more like Paris Baguette, Spuntino, Trader Joe’s, and Mystique Boutique, which are all there (besides Mystique, which was replaced). No offense Container Store and Nordstrom Rack😁

We liked the restaurant and have been going there for sometime but for the past few month the quality’s of the food is BADDDDDD.,the service sucks. The lady has an attitude.

I went to this deli for the first time and can't wait to go back!! The chicken cutlet hero w cheese was amazingly delicious, I regret not getting the blueberry muffins that were sitting right in front of my face🤦🏻‍♂️ they looked delicious, Sam Rothstein would of been proud, those muffins had alot of blueberries 🫐 😋 😀 🤩

The food is absolutely amazing, customer service is great. My husband and I had our first date here 8 years ago. Since then, Kinha has become our favorite Japanese Restaurant.

Very upset. I’m considering calling a lawyer to sue them. We came with 20 people and it was my sisters birthday . The Peking duck got my sister and I sick. Out of the 20 we were the only ones who ate the duck. Nobody else got sick. Very mad that we had to pay about $80 for food poisoning.

Apparently gone downhill. This was an extremely busy night and we were spending a lot of money at their restaurant. They made me totally sick and my sister was also on her burthday the next day. We are there on the 25th of march 2023.

This place is the absolute best deli, best staff, best food you'll ever eat.
They catered our wedding and 5 years later people still mention the food and how delicious it was.
Everyone there is so kind, so loving, so friendly and they care about your order.

Highly recommend Kinha as your new go to sushi spot. Everything is absolutely delicious and I would say their sushi is among the freshest you can get on the Island! A beautiful interior & the attentive staff created an excellent dining experience all around!

Fast delivery, some of the best food I’ve had. Even when they are busy they do their best to cut down delivery times. Come here all the time and never had a bad experience!

They are one of the best sushi restaurants I have ever been to!! We dined inside and the vibe was really cozy and peaceful. They have plenty of outdoor dining space and there’s a huge parking lot in the back.
We ordered hibachi steak, chicken ramen, 100A roll, and Adelphi roll.
Hibachi steak and ramen were alright, not too bad and nothing extraordinary. Ramen just felt like regular noodles to me. Sushi on the other hand was the best!! Totally loved it! I would definitely love to try the other rolls on their menu.
Staff was super friendly and the service was quick. Their prices are also reasonable according to the portions. I’ll definitely recommend this place for sushi.

We come to the new kinha sushi last week with family and it was just great. Sushi and sashimi are fresh and amazing. The dinning room is nice and clean. Service was outstanding.

First time here, came in for lunch with a few of my colleagues. The customer service was very friendly, but when I said yes to fries I didn’t get them. Then paid extra for fries and sauce and only got fries so I had to get back up a few times which frustrated me, since I couldn’t eat comfortably. Anyways the food was good and burger was yummy, I’d recommend the burger spot if you’re in the area.

So I was looking for bagels, and I ended up here! Did not disappoint!! I got an egg everything bagel with cream cheese and bacon. So so good, fresh and crispy! To drink I got a Bagelman Mixer which is their creation of pink lemonade and sweet iced tea! Very very good!

I've been here a couple of times and I must say there Signature Sushi, Udon, Soba are on point. Appetizers are also really good like the Rock Shrimp Tempura, Kobe Beef and the Jaiozi.

The inside is nice and with a subtly dark background, so if you like a subtle dark space you'll like it. The have 3-4 High tables on the front side of the restaurant, the walls of the restaurant have booth-like seating on both sides and standard 2x3 tables with chairs towards the middle of the restaurant.a small middle sector with 5 tables and only chair seating.

I personally like the 3 tables of Japanese Seating with cushions 2 tables for four people and 1 for two people. It's like the traditional Japanese seating but it's built in seats make it so that you can sit normally at standard seat height. Pretty eye catching if I'm honest and makes you wanna sit there w/some Sushi/Udon and Sake. IMO it's just has a good vibe to it and it's pretty unique.

The sake is really good. I prefer cold sake with Fuji Apple. The Lychee is an adquired taste but not bad at all. They got a bar in the back so you can get your standard shot, Teq's, Vodka's, Beers and etc. Margarita's and Specialty drinks are also available.

I won't give it 5 stars due to the Ramen and they served 1 of my children last. I don't think it was on purpose due to the size of my group, but IMO ALL the children should be served before the adults in any Restaurant's Serving Standards.
Besides that the staff are friendly and attended us well. They come to the table a good amount of time in between. They clear the tables and don't rush you you to order. All in all pretty good.

The Ramen was standard nothing too crazy. If they improve on the Ramen Bowls they could definitely see more customers. I know people that go far for Ramen so if they have some 🔥 Ramen nearby even better for Customers and BUSINESS. More flavor on the meat of choice and the broth a customer orders and they could see a sea of people come in especially WINTER.

A reminder they are a Sushi Specialty Restaurant, so the Ramen being standard isn't a surprise. Fo'Sho they got the Rolls & Udon/Soba on the dot.

I have my opinion on the Ramen heavily due to my taste and likes and I would like to see it improved. Hell might see me every week...

The Bento boxes are assorted and you can get Hibachi or Teriyaki Boxes/Entrees. The got a bit of everything as you would expect and you can try different combo's for something with more your taste. I prefer the UDON/SOBA or the Drunken Rice Noodles.

They finesse the flavor and it's the right amount or salt. Not overbearing/rubbery at all and goes well with a Fuji Apple Sake IMO.

Mochi was nice and decorated pretty. They have a good amount of flavors, even green tea. Tempura Cheesecake was Delicious, HOT and went down smoothly after eating it. It was like a crunchy creamy churro with a subtle sweet and obvious cheesecake flavor. It all melted really well. Some Hot Tea and Cheesecake in the Winter; that's some nice stuff. They even got Tartufo which is nice if you want something chocolaty, but smooth and cold

All in all if you can try the UDON, SOBA AND TEMPURA CHEESECAKE. Obviously the Sushi and Rolls as well but that goes without saying. Oh, and the Sake; 18+.

Anything I stated that may have seemed negative; was in light of hoping that it can be tweaked. Presentation on any of the dishes is special and their plating is eye-catching and is something one learns to appreciate, especially on the Sushi.

It's reasonably priced as well and the sushi pricing especially. Apps are worth especially the ones mentioned above IMO.

Entree's/Dishes, Non-AL Drinks, Dessert should cost ya anywhere from all together from 25 to 40.

The same estimate goes for the Rolls assuming you get two of them. Get only one roll and you drop to around 20-30.

With AL Drinks add 15 to 40 bucks especially the specialty drinks or bottles for non brand in-house drinks. Without dessert take away 8-12 bucks from the cost add-up.

Great spot for a quality burger! Ordered the original cheese burger, kids burgers, the Belgium and onion rings. Crew was a little young, but their was senior staff in the back and they were holding their own.

All the food was great, tasty, and would definitely grab and go again if in the area!

Hiding out in a down stairs store front is this High end Chinese restaurant. The food here is great but the duck is outstanding. I’ve never had duck this meaty and tender. Excellently prepared and served. The wait staff is also outstanding. We had the Peking duck, orchid duck , pu pu platter and the triple crown. It’s getting harder to find sit down , Hogh end Chinese restaurants, so this was a find. The decor was fabulous.

My family and I took my father to a casual dinner here. We had been here once already and enjoyed it so much, we had to come back!

But back to the restaurant! The atmosphere is very relaxed. All kinds of people come in, from an old couple to a small group of four friends.
I ordered something simple--the illusion salmon. But what I saw and ate was a delicious display of fresh salmon.
The special dishes are extraordinarily beautiful!

Our family loves this restaurant and it seems we end up visiting on a weekly basis! We eat sushi often, also making it at home, and think the quality here is great. The food is consistently fresh and prepared with care. Min is wonderful as well!

There is truly no finer Chinese food on Long Island than Orchid! We have been coming for the past 20 years and always have a great experience!! The service is always top notch thanks to our favorite waiter Gary who has become a part of the family! The food is second to none; our favorite appetizers include the scallion pancakes, their ribs, dumplings, crab Rangoon’s, and of course the egg rolls. Their Peking duck is phenomenal as well as the sesame chicken, multiple lo mein’s, and the best pork fried rice!! Their ice cream is the perfect end to the wonderful feast!! Highly recommend!!
