We used our own wetwipes on our table, and it was so dirty that we considered taking our food out to the gate to eat it there.
We also had one in our group with celiac, and the only thing that was gluten-free was tomatosoup in the whole food court area inkl. Burger King.
I REALLY do not recommend eating here, at least not if you have allergies!

I think it's not pricey. Also provide a lot of options. You can get free tap water
I've just paid a highly inflated price for one of the worst things I've ever eaten, gluten- free chicken roll. It was stale, dry, and boring. Can't believe they can sell this to gluten- free ppl and charge a dime even.
We ate breakfast every day for 5 days at this restaurant while we were staying at the Hilton. The food was incredible and we were very much pampered. A special shout out to Si for all of her efforts. She is the host - making everyone feel like a VIP when they come in.
Terrible Caffe Latte. Not sure what kind of milk they used, but it was terrible.
Our waiter, Angel, was fantastic. Group of 4 women with lots of questions. Very professional.

I recently visited La Place for lunch and while the food was definitely ok, the prices are on the high side. The service, however, was very friendly. It was an overall satisfactory experience.
The Luxury baguette grilled chicken sausage sandwich was very tasty and filling. Good service was delivered.
Great dinner once it arrived. Buddha bowl was fresh and delicious. The norweigen salmon was crisped perfectly and flaked nicely. However, I was very disappointed with the attentiveness and the awareness of the server. A couple was seated after me and I waited through their entire dinner to receive my entree. After the meal, the server finally checked on me and I asked for the check. I then watched him serve multiple tables for several minutes until he finally looked my way and realized he had forgotten the check. Very disappointing.
Great place for lunch. Surprisingly good, crispy pizza. They sell wine as well. Numerous seating arrangements: hightops, low tops, soft seating...Lunch for two people +/- 30 EU.
Service staff barely friendly. Food either cold or tasteless. Friend had tomatoe soup which had no taste. Steak asked to be med rare and served cold and beyond rare. Went back and server put it on grill (grudgingly) for another few minutes on one side. Still rare. While making the best of it as was very hungry....two brown mice came by!!
The Commune restaurant is located in the Sheraton Hotel at the airport. We wanted something filling but good. My husband had a delicious burger & fries. I had the Dutch Pea Soup with ham. Best I have tasted! Service was quick and I loved the atmosphere
Decent food at airport price level. One can find good combinations of meat and veggies. Ok sandwiches. Hard to find a place to sit, be prepared for waiting a lot to find a free spot.
It was down hours so there're only two servers. Had fries and medium steak but it came as apparently well done+. They prepared again and the 2nd one was more a medium well+ but I didn't want to bother another wait due to the flight.
Service was okay (could be more attentive as there're only 4 tables of guests), given it's in Hilton and for the pricing I had a higher expectation on both food and service.

Food options are good and quality is good as well. Was here in the early morning, and there were plenty of options for breakfast.

Received excellent service from Angel! He was friendly, asked questions to get to know us, made great recommendations for our trip and made me a delicious coffee with cute designs.
Very expensive for what you get! Our small veggie breakfast was about 10 euros each, and just an espresso is about 4 euro! The coffee was also very burnt and we had to ask for it to be remade. It was still disgusting when they remade it, they need proper coffee training for that price!! Don’t go unless it’s your last option.

Jamie Oliver should be ashamed: overpriced coffees and breakfast pastries (healthier smoothies were prohibitively expensive) and the staff would have had to charge me €3.75 to put water on my own ginger teabag in my own travel mug. Having never been charged for hot water when asking as a customer at an airport food / drink outlet, this was very disappointing.
Apparently, there are to places on Google Maps for the same restaurant (Tastes of the Lowlands).
The place is nice, plenty of chairs at the bar and tables to sit.
Good service, the plate I ordered was served fast and fresh.
The price is ok, considering you are in an Airport.

The food was absolutely amazing. The staff is very friendly. Different staff provide special attention for a complete service. The atmosfere is pleasant. I highly recommend having the experience to eat here. In my case expend 40€ for a hamburguer and 2 beer, plus 10% tip.

She took it, saw it blinking and beeping, and tried to charge me a second time. When I said I already paid, she asked why I went to the cashier and I had to explain the grill worker sent me over. She sent me back to the grill and another worker found my burger.
Fruit cup was only half full. It's inexpensive food, but it should be a full serving as advertised. Staff seemed flustered as the same cashier ran back and forth between two registers to ring up orders, confusing the patrons in both lines.

Bad and pricey food. I had breakfast at Jamie's. With 16 Euros I had à small veggie breakfast and à granula and yoghurt. The veggie breakfast costed over 10 euros and it was pretty small, the eggs didn't look like freshly cooked and everything was salty and spicy. The granula was good. Thr music was very loud so I ate and took off ASAP.Probably donc on purpose so you leave your seat quickly.never again
Friendly server and bartender, excellent bitterballen, great fries, lots of seating, and the prices were normal! We were on the hunt for bitterballen, which took some effort, but they came through!
For Amsterdam being one of the friendliest vegan cities in the world I was shocked the airport had such limited options. My best choice were these 12 baby potatoes from Jamie’s, who proudly says he’s serving food with love, less stress, and good ingredients. They have a porridge on the menu (it wasn’t avail) but it’s not vegan (it can be it’s so easy to be vegan) their pancakes have eggs and I think dairy in it after conferring with the kitchen (the lady making coffee after I waited in line to ask her made me get in a different line to ask.) they have a stewed tomato and some potatoes for the ONLY plant based option and it isn’t even on the menu you just have to ask. Thank goodness they have a real fresh orange juice. They charged me .70€ for 1 packet of ketchup also, which you absolutely needed as the potatoes were a bit dry. I just felt like with an advertisement Liem Jamie’s being touted as you order with his picture and quote, this place would have been more thoughtful and offered simple easy things that could also be plant based. Even if just the one oatmeal with fruit was my option I would have been thrilled. That’s already on their menu but again it’s not vegan and it wasn’t even available. I thought this place could have done a lot better….
Bit worried about the hygiene of the food in this restaurant. Was about to order from here till I saw a guy coughing on a sandwich and constantly touching it with his friends( absolutely disgusting ) ,because of their self service concept
Delicious food! Totally recommended if you're in the airport 👍. Different dishes options, was little difficult to pick just one per person.
We decided to stay for a quick dinner in the hotel as after the flight didnt want to go anywhere else.
That evening the Bowery was open which was nice, it is not always the case.
The ambience is fine, we got the window table, so the view is great, I like the concept of the open kitchen.
We stayed with burgers and beers (Saturday night :-)), I decided for the veggie burger which was really nice, with the french fries it was really decent portion to not starve anymore. I was surprised with the beans and cashews under patty - POSITIVELY and I liked it.
As of the service - we had two gentleman that evening, one very attentive and open to any wish such as swap sweet potato for the regular fried ones and the other one we paid to - a bit less attentive. This can be improved with a little bit of smile and then you will be perfect!

Music a little too loud, also ordered a hero cassis but got a fanta cassis, not a big difference but its the idea. Since hero was on their menu card, however great place, fast service and everything
Not sure how to rate this so please read the review. Prices are not accurately reflected on the menu and no warning is provided even though the server was aware of the incorrect pricing with a previous customer. One star as I think customers should be aware that the prices are not accurate.
Extremely annoying experience. Rude service, overpriced fast food. Paid €33 for 2 soggy, tasteless breakfasts that didn’t even come with a single slice of bread. They “accidentally” overcharged me €2 and then screamed at me for complaining.

Good prices for being in an airport. Tomato soup was tasty but the salad plates were a bit tasteless. Everything needed some salt and pepper.
To be honest, generous portions, but it doesn't help, chicken dry (and obviously not a corn fed range) and no flavour, salad with "french dressing " were exactly dressing???, asian stir-fry ok. So, upset? Yes. I was starving, and like result, overpriced for nothing.
Terrible place, suprise how this terrible service can be in so good Airport. First you waiting waiter 20 min, but they near to you busy with theirself, after when try order, advice order not will be ready than more 30 min, on question but inside 1 hour no answer. Suprise. Exactly if i like spend my time in restoran i will do it in restoran outside of Airport.
Disappointing and extremely expensive food that maybe was fresh at some point before sitting out all day. Cold old soup and an ok tuna sandwich and bottled water for 18€

I had the full English. The sausage and bacon both had a decent flavour, but the whole dish was only luke warm. Cooked items kept in dishes with no lids, so they dried out. At €14.95 it was not cheap, even so, if you wanted mustard, that was 65¢ extra. :-(
I ordered two 'regular' teas, but they only had 'small' cups. :-(
Our table had not been wiped, and no tables were wiped down by staff while we ate. Sad that COVID cleanliness lessons are forgotten so fast. :-(

If Jamie runs this place he should stop, and focus on his cookery books. If it's a franchise, then he should have it run by people who will build his brand rather than damage it.

Going through a lot of airports, service here borderlines I don't give a xxxx! Was trying to order breakfast and staff are just doing their thing, without the slightest acknowledgement to customers, after a good five mins I had to ask if this was the place we order and staff's attitude was hold a moment. I mean I understand if you have work to do but at least smile and acknowledge the customer, maybe they are better off going the way of self service order kiosk.

Extortionate prices for hard bread, poor pairings, and barely anything on the actual sandwich. While polite, the staff can't heat a sandwic properly.
Go to MacDonald and you will have Better and more real service and food. Super expensive for what they offer and the guys here are incredibly rude
We have strawberries smoothie, salad, bread and grilled salmon/ fries (2 sets). The salad and bread are good. But the salmon and fries are too greasy and not so tasty. However, I do love other La palace restaurants.

20€ for a sandwich, muffin and orange juice. The staff member, who I asked about allergies, rolled her eyes and told me to scan a barcode which didn’t exist. 8 members of staff working but only one till: I watched a man take 5 minutes to pay for a solitary muffin. Bon voyage!
Don't come here if you're in a hurry, burgers take 20 minutes if you order one! A nice Dutch pub with few but good selection of beers. The taste of my beer was very ordinary, so nothing remarkable! The hamburger was not as delicious as the rib eye. Normally hamburgers should be good in a pub, but mine was dry!
Great place to stop in for breakfast. I had the ham and cheese omelet and a coffee. It was initially difficult to order. So I moved to another table and was immediately served. Great service once noticed.
Delicious meals, wonderful service, and very relaxing ambiance. This restaurant is conveniently located inside the Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We had a wonderful experience dining here. I highly recommend them.

I don't recommed it. Pastry filling didnt have a good flavor. And the dough wasn't good as well, very chewy, more like bread.
We ordered the Seaweed Vegan burger to share. The patty was nice and flavorful. The staff was okay and seemed kinda disinterested. We requested them to cut the burger in half before serving and they straightaway told no. They didn't tell us the burger came with mayo and ketchup (and somehow charged us extra for ketchup). Overall we liked the food but not so much the service.

Flug verpasst, Warten auf den nächsten Flug und Hunger! Also Restaurant gesucht und gefunden. Es war auf jeden Fall sehr lecker, aber eben auch nicht unbedingt günstig. Daher ein Stern Abzug! Aber wen der Preis nicht stört, kann hier super essen. Der Hamburger war lecker!!!
Bag your own tasty pastry and pay at the till. I enjoyed a sausage roll and almond pastry. Both were delicious and fresh. I was disappointed to not see an espresso machine to pair a cappuccino with my pastries. They do have a coffee machine that makes them at the push of a button. Lots of places to sit and watch the sunrise or the planes come and go.

This place has some fresh fruit and vegetable options which you cannot find elsewhere in AMS. I chose to eat here because they have soup and salad. The bread and the banana bread were quite nice. The prices are high for the food quality, but that applies to everything in AMS.
We bought 2 hot dogs at Hema Zeist. They were cold. ( the bread and the sausage). Very frustrating.
Might sound a bit nostalgic, but Hema feels like it's part of Dutch culture. You don't want to know what's inside their smoked sausages, but you do know it feels like home.

A basic buffet salad bar with grill. It's not good value for money, as you might expect in an airport. The prices are very high considering the average quality of the food, the moody and depressed seeming staff and untidy floors and tables. When we visited, around eight pm, there were a lot of items missing such as the steak and several salads and burger buns. Juices, beer, wines and sodas are available to buy from a fridge.

Actually I am pretty happy with the fact they are open till late, the choose if food is pretty wide and the price is good as well. Disappointed about the fact the tables are not very well cleaned and it looks a bit messy. Th staff is friendly but not really professional. Three stars only because I know there are more decent and much cleaner and better La Place restaurants in the Netherlands.

I've just try order some sausage with the mustard which was a lot in front of me and thebkack lady tikd ny they are already sold out! Not the first time and what I heard from my coworkers totally not the first time for the with guy but if U are tan skin they will served you!
This rubbish was listed as “grilled sirloin open sandwich” and cost me €8.50. Here I was thinking it would be a steak sandwich. Would also help if the wait staff knew more English than just “yes or no”. Next stop Burger King.
