Meal and beer were absolutely delicious! Fries made from scratch, real beer brewed locally, the best wienerschnitzel I've ever had. Wish I could fit in a dessert, but the portion was too big for me to manage. Worth booking!
Nice little place that has great good and great service. It's an Austrien focused cuisine restaurant, and it's perfect if you're looking for a taste of locals. Both indoor and outdoor seating were amazing, located at the centre of all attractions, but on an inside street where things weren't overly crowded!
This place was your standard German/Austrian meal. We got lunch here so we could say we ate at the “original schnitzel” restaurant. It tasted on point, but the potato salad was really good.
I really love it. We ordered goulash and asparagus. Both were delicious. Service was fast, bread was super delicious. Kind staff.
Very good service. The food was very good. The price/performance ratio is good. Unfortunately, you can't get in without a reservation. But I can understand that.
This was the worst Michelin star restaurant I've ever been to. The waitress had no idea what was in each course and struggled to remember what was being served. Despite ordering the vegetarian meal, I was served chicken. My colleague joked with the waitress that it looked like chicken, and the waitress said it was not. After one bite, the main waiter came in and took it away. Finally, there were fruit flies buzzing around the table during the whole meal. It was a memorable meal, but for all the wrong reasons.

Between two, we ordered the feta parcel, sweet potato and avocado salad, two gyros and a baklava to share. The food was tasty and the portion sizes decent. The baklava is different from the typical (it wasn’t syrupy) but still enjoyed it in any case (although would have liked to have been told that it wasn’t the usual).
Das Restaurant verbindet geschickt klassische und moderne Elemente und wirkt dadurch jung und konservativ zugleich. Die typisch österreichische Küche war hervorragend, das Luxus Cordon Bleu ist genauso zu empfehlen wie das hauseigene, sehr erfrischende Helle. Der Service war zuvorkommend, das Personal am Nachmittag dennoch etwas mit der Vorbereitung des Abends gebunden. Dafür kamen Speisen und Getränke in Rekordgeschwindigkeit auf den Tisch. Klare Weiterempfehlung, abends ist unbedingt eine Reservierung erforderlich.
Klassische Wiener Gerichte in angenehmer Atmosphäre sehr stilvoll präsentiert. Wie angekündigt eines der besten Schnitzel der Stadt, auch die Qualität aller anderen Speisen ist top. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist das freundliche, symphatische, nie aufdringliche und einfach tolle Servicepersonal welches einen hervorragenden Job macht. Absolute Empfehlung!

when I entered the restaurant, the waiters seemed doubtful about whether we wanted to go there, so while standing at the door, they immediately put a menu into my hand just to check the prices. 😅

We went there a couple of weeks before Easter and there were some Easter Bunny figurines around. They accepted a late booking on a Monday evening and we were given a 2 hour window during which to have dinner - a bit stifling, but I guess that’s how they do things here. The servers could all speak decent English and, although maybe a bit dry in manner, they were all efficient and well versed in their delivery. We ordered their specialty, namely Wiener Schnitzer, which was good. Overall it used a must do when in Vienna and we were not disappointed .
The Best kalbscnitzel ever. So fresh, crunchy and ...what ever you expect from schnitzel. Size was enorm for us. I took vegetables instead of parseleypotatoes. Friendly personal and warm atmosphere. You dont have to wait the food too long. And gruss from kitchen was nice surprise. It could be also espressosize cup of good soup 😊. See you next time.

Super „Edelgrieche“ in Wien. Nicht allzugroße Speisekarte mit tollen Gerichten, sehr griechischlastig natürlich, aber nicht ein klassisches griechisches Restaurant. Sehr guter, aufmerksamer Service. Das gesamte Personal sehr freundlich, fleissig und sehr sauber. Die Cocktails/Drinks top!!! Junges Publikum, eher laute - aber insgesamt doch zum Lokal passende und stimmige - Musik. Sehr gut und zentral gelegen. Preise völlig OK und passende Speisengröße!! Empfehlung: Negroni mit Kalamataoliven zum Apero. Whiskey sour als Betthupferl! Danke :)

Ein griechisches Restaurant sollte in keiner Stadt fehlen. Überaus freundlicher Service. Das Essen war gut, die Portionen reichlich.

Our dining experience at this restaurant was fantastic, offering what is arguably one of Vienna's finest Schnitzels. Both the cuisine and service were exceptional. It's advisable to book a table in advance. I strongly recommend it.
Entgegen der anderen, bis auf den letzten Platz gefüllten Gastwirtschaften war ich unter der Woche abends der einzige Gast. Service aufmerksam, geringe Wartezeit aufs Essen. Gute Suppe, Fleisch für meinen Geschmack etwas wenig gewürzt, aber von guter Qualität. Preis/Leistung für die Lage absolut in Ordnung.
We’ve been here for a lunch a couple of days ago and were surprised by how big portions are and how fresh the I frisierte were in their specialty gyros and marcos mix plate. So, it’s a solid recommendation from my side to get something good here:)

The food was absolutely incredible, all dishes had a unique taste. The service was on point, as well. Our waiter was helpful, informed us about each course, and contributed to a fun and friendly atmosphere throughout the evening :)
Amazing Japanese takeaway lunch place. It gets very busy (for a good reason) so be prepared to potentially wait. I had the curry noodles and they were excellent. The portions are very decent! Recommended.
This place offers a great experience. The service is good and the atmosphere very nice. The food was good but nothing that you can't find at a cheaper price. It's overpriced for no reason. Just because something is traditional it doesn't have to be 30€.

A very good restaurant in Vienna. I made a reservation a week before and everything was ok (by the way, you couldn't even eat without a reservation, everything was fully booked).
The service was very good and fast. The waiter told us what is best cooked in the restaurant, including describing the portions so that we don't over-order.

After not being able to get a spot in the busier area's, we came across this place. We wanted to finish our trip to Vienna with authentic food, which is what this restaurant offers. So we asked to be seated here.
The interior looked cozy and the atmosphere was nice, although the tables where rather small. The staff was very friendly and helped us make a choice from the menu.
It took quite some time to get the dishes to our table (about an hour). But once it got there, it was very enjoyable! The meats were tender and the flavours rich.
Afterwards we got a free homemade pudding dessert, because we had to wait a bit long for our main course earlier. Really attentive.

The online reservation worked really well, and the staff was very polite and helpful.
Unfortunately, not everything we ordered arrived on the table, and the main dish (souvlaki) arrived 45 minutes after we ordered, which was really unfortunate because the atmosphere of the restaurant is really good.

Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. However, except for the zucchini balls which were very tasty (photo attached), the chicken suvlaki wasn't tasty at all and quite overpriced. They forgot one of our dishes and never brought it to us, but the waiter was very sweet and offered us a dessert to make up for the mistake :)
Came here after seeing an Opera, so it was quite late...close to 10 pm. The service was outstanding and the waitstaff was very friendly and personable. I ordered the steak with peppercorn sauce, which was perfectly cooked to order (medium rare) and the sauce was rich and tasty. Very much enjoyed my dinner, and the price was very reasonable.

I’ve heard about this place from my friends and decided to try it and IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT 😍 the menu items were absolutely delicious and the ingredients were brought straight from 🇬🇷 They make everything from scratch no wander it had a strong flavours . My friends had different plates but I had the souvlaki 👌 it was extra delicious the Chicken was perfectly marinated and tender. The 🫓 pita bread was amazing with muhammarah and hummus .

In Vienna on Christmas day and most if not all restaurants are closed for the holiday. I stumbled upon Ariston Hellenic via Google maps and asked my hotel to help make reservations for me. I usually get my Greek food fix in Astoria, Queens so I can say Ariston Hellenic is legit! Food is absolutely delicious and service is impeccable. Owner is very friendly as well. Come here for a great unforgettable Greek meal! ευχαριστώ!

Puah, I really love their food, but damn man, they went from 5.5 Euros to 8.5 Euros for 1 gyros. I used to order a lot more, almost every weekend, but 8.5 per gyros and 3 euros delivery (which also takes always more than 1 hour), you guys have to chill...
We loved the restaurant and the service offered. The menu offers varied menu of Greek cuisine at a good quality and price. Highly recommended if your in Vienna.
Absolutely amazing! The food was to die for (especially the schnitzel), and the atmosphere was extremely intimate. Our waiters were efficient and well mannered. For the quality you get, the price is great, especially as you are right off the Opera House!

Lovely restaurant. The food was amazing and our waitress was so attentive and friendly. Really glad we found this place!
Tastes better than other greek restaurants, but it's a bit pricey. The guys working there are always polite, but it would be nice if they prepared the orders according to the catalogue, since 80% of the time, our order has been wrong.
Stumbled upon this Greek restaurant by Stephansplatz. The lamb chops was really delicious, totally recommend! The waiter was extremely helpful and nice
From their food that was authentic and just superb to their professional and pleasant service; there are only good things to say about the place. We all left full and satisfied. It’s definitely on the list of my recommended restaurants.

We ate at this Greek restaurant whilst spending a long weekend in Vienna. The menu was all very tempting, and we chose the Eggplant and Avocado Tower and the Taramasalata with warm Pita Bread to start... Both were superb. For our main course, we had the Meat Plater for two, which was again excellent. With a couple of gin and tonics and one beer, our bill came to a reasonable €89. Service and ambience were both very good. We'd most certainly love to dine here again.
One of my go-to lunch places! Food is made in record speed and ready to pick up in only a few minutes. Usually it gets a bit more busy after 12pm but they still have your food ready in 10-15mins. Most of the food can be ordered in two sizes (Small/Large). My favourite is extra spicy tantan. Give it a go!
Great food and great atmosphere. Found this place while walking through Vienna and trying to find something other than schnitzel, as much as a I love it. The chicken kabobs with tzatziki sauce were wonderful.

We also tried out their chicken gyros, greek kebab, and calamari … the portions were generous and included fries a dip and salad! A+ I would definitely order them again especially the calamari but I would ask to make sure it was hot.

Bei der ersten Reservierung keinen Platz bekommen, beim zweiten Versuch erst ab 13h! Dort angekommen, das Lokal war leer, ich war zu zweit und auch die einzigen Gäste! Meine Bestellung: Filetspitzen mit Pfeffersoße und Schwammerl und Wedges. Das Fleisch war hart und die Pfeffersoße war auch nicht das Wahre. Ich werde dieses Lokal nicht mehr besuchen und ich werde es auch nicht weiter empfehlen!
We were luckily able to get a table at the last minute after checking into the hotel. The food was some of the best we have had. Coming from deer country, we were excited to try the Austrian Venison, which was incredible. The crispy pork was perfect, the tomato dish left me wondering what was in it because it was so tasty. Yes, dinner did take 2.5 hours for the two of us, and we wished we'd ordered bigger bottles of water for between courses, but the experience was amazing. We knew we were home when presented with six types of bread and five types of butter! Loved the amuse buche courses too. Thank you so much for an incredible experience.
Small cafe restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. It is on the expensive side. We tried the shrimp salad, Greek salad and chicken soup. The food was very good . Service was friendly but slow. Nice for a light lunch.

We had a lot of difficulty finding restaurants in Austria for this group. The alcohol-free beverage accompaniment was very nice. We got a mix of the five and seven course selections. Overall, the food was excellent and encouraged a lot of discussion. Some of the items verged on molecular gastronomy, which was very interesting. The morel dish in particular was amazing.
CONS: We got the impression that service was understaffed. It took about 45 minutes between courses, so we were there for 5.5 hours. Similarly, for everyone who got the wine accompaniment, the glasses were only filled (with small pours) with each course, so we primarily drank water for the 45 minutes before the next plate was brought out. To our surprise, we were each charged 38€ for the water as well. I felt that the pricing in general was not transparent, as we were each charged about 100€ more than we were anticipating. Dinner dragged on so long it actually became comical, like we were in episode of Fawlty Towers. At the table next to us, one of the diners got up to refill her wine glass from the bottle they purchased since the waiter only appeared every 30 minutes or so, and the waiter came over to let her know it was his job. Overall, it felt like fine dining in a prison, where we mostly ate bread and (expensive) water between small courses every hour. It was definitely the weirdest fine dining experience I have ever had.

YUMMY! We went for lunch and the place was almost empty so i was very confused. They have lots of seating, a nice staff, & GREAT greek food! We got the greek salad, lentil soup, souvlaki & greek gyros for food! We also got a glass of the riesling & an aperol spritz of course!😍 Bathroom was downstairs & very clean as well, thank you!

I ordered here an the rice dishes are not good. It was way too much dry rice and the curry came with no sauce, i was almost only dry rice with vegetables. It wasn’t a curry. Please improve!
We had a great birthday meal at Ariston. Really delicious and affordable food and drink, with large portions - very meat heavy for the meat eaters, but also a good choice of vegetarian options. The service was super friendly and very accommodating for our large group (20 tourists!), who were very flexible about our booking. They also provided birthday dessert for one of our party, which was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend.

Friendly staff, but the food is low quality and all rice dishes are awful.
As you see, it is impossible to identify what this is, but it is very dry and does not taste good.
There is a thin layer of something, covered with corn salad, but under this very thin layer there is nothing, but dry rice, dry rice and dry rice. It is tasteless.
To cook this, it is neither more complicated, nor more expensive than making a cup of tea.

Food is amazing and the place has such a nice interior design plus the prices are really good.
If i could give -1 star - I would. I ordered chicken pita gyros from the restaurant, the taste itself wouldn't be bad, but the chicken was undercooked (not based on pinkiness, but the texture and taste ). Definitely not happy, waste of money
The food is ok, but not great. It is very convenience as there’s practically no waiting time, everything was prepared. That’s also one of the reasons the sushi is not amazing. Just be aware of how long the sushi had been sitting in the fridge. The quality of sushi is also just 5/10. The fish is fine but the sushi rice is too dry. If you’re near the area it’s fine to check it out, but I don’t think it’s worth going there just for the food.

We had lunch there today. The food could not have been more delicious! The staff were helpful and very friendly. I wanted to taste their home made bread and they brought me two slices, for which they did not charge. Prices very reasonable for the quality of the food and the location. We will certainly be going again!

The restaurant is quite large, the vibe is pleasant and the music is in keeping with the restaurant.
The food was delicious, I ordered “Sophia Plate" which contained four types of meat - chicken fillet, gyros, pork steak and pork fillet. I’m not able to choose which one of these tasted the best - all of them were perfectly grilled, well seasoned. I only can say that the steak was juicy and tender, the chicken tasted excellent, gyros - palatable, and pork fillet was also fine, however, not my tastes. It all was served with tomato rice, fried potatoes and tzatziki (I highly recommend trying them all). For dessert, I tried the chocolate cake, it was pretty sweet, perfect to end a meal.
The service was attentive and kind, the prices appropriate for the quality.
All in all, everything tasted better than I expected, I consider this restaurant to be one of the best I have visited so far. It’s a great place for everyone to spend time with family, friends or even alone and enjoy the Greek specialties.
I’m looking forward to visit you again!

Had lunch there, really good experience! Food is authentic, owners and staff are greek. Everything tastes like your grandmother cooked it! There is this typical homemade feeling in every dish served (except the dessert I took, but there are also other typical ones in the menu. Definitely would come back and can only recommend it. Service was nice too.
Everything tastes great, is freshly prepared and delicious! The Pita was amazing!
Had a lunch there. Ordered gyros and burger. Overall dishes were OK, pommes was homemade, however there is always a however 🙂 Bun was dry and just little warm, meat in gyros was a bit dried and overcooked. There also was a smell, coming from the kitchen.

Got there 15 minutes before closing, they still took the orders and let us have our dinner in peace. Very good food (especially that fresh gyros bread and potato fries) 🤤 and great service.

Das Restaurant ist zwar optisch schön, aber leider reicht das alleine nicht. Sowohl die Suppe als auch die Beilage der Hauptspeise waren komplett versalzen. Nachdem ich die Beilage reklamierte erhielt ich erneut eine versalzte. Das ist meiner Meinung nach für einen Preis von 8€ für eine Frittatensuppe und 27€ für ein Lachssteak zu viel. Fazit: Preis Leistung sehr schlecht. Das war definitiv mein letzter Besuch!
Went to restaurant on Christmas day and it was lovely! Great prosecco and delicious food. My husband got their schnitzel with potatoes and I got the salmon steak. For dessert, we got the vanilla creme brulee. Both meals and dessert were flavorful and would definately recommend! Although, keep in mind if you are thinking about coming here, it is fairly expensive. Most entrees are over €20. Very good restaurant for special occasions.
Service is not as it used to be. Some of the waiters behaves as if they are the owner of the hotel.

Bar and toilets are on the opposite side to the left. You sit there overlooking the Lobby / Entrance hall and / or the Ringstrasse, as one prefers. There are
few walls, just glass. So its like a big Open space. And the Lobby is Extraordinary elegant, propably one of the most beautiful ones we have here. With tradition. Newly renovated, but one of the oldest Ringstrassen-Hotels. Founded 1870. Recently bought by an Austrian-Saudi Business man. Sometimes they have a Piano Player downstairs. Check the Pics on the web-page. Food is also great, and big advantage: Open nearly 24/7. Daily 06:30 - 24:00. Great breakfast and Sunday brunch until 3pm. Next Time i will make some Pics, if i dont forget, i promise. But be aware: there is an even better Restaurant at the 7th Floor: Le Ciel.

We had a nice evening. The food, wine and cocktails were very good and the staff friendly. They mixed 2 menus for us and gave good wine recommendations.
Delicious food of Viennese style and flavours. Halal food served on their Arabic menu. Foods are cooked well. Great flavours. Wonderful ambience sitting on the balcony of the first floor overlooking the piano being played. Chandeliers look regal.
