We had such a great time at I Monelli! The place has a really cozy vibe that just makes you feel at home the moment you walk in. We tried the homemade pasta, and it was delicious—clearly made with a lot of care. The ice cream was the perfect way to wrap up the meal, super creamy and just the right amount of sweetness. And the cocktails? Absolutely spot on!

Everyone working there was super friendly too, making the whole evening even better. It’s really nice to find a spot where it feels like the staff cares not just about the food, but also about making sure everyone has a good time.

Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the mood for some genuine Italian in Dublin.

A good small restaurant. Pasta and broccoli were cooked a bit too much to my liking. Generous portions. Lovely waiting staff.
Not cheap. A small glass of wine is 9 euro.
You can find disc parking spots nearby on the canal, that are free after 6.30pm

Unfortunately not the experience I had expected. The food was presented beautifully but the taste was quite disappointing. Seabass is served in a way that tries to preserve the taste of the fish (which is great) but the sauce was not giving any balance and the use of herbs amplified the strong smell of the fish which was not pleasant at all. Potatoes that were served along the lamb sirloin were covered in oil which ruined the flavor. The lamb sirloin was decent but given the pricing and the how the restaurant is presented I had much higher expectations. Staff was kind and I appreciated them asking for feedback given we didn’t finish most the food we got served. Hopefully they will listen!

Very nice service and the food is 10/10. The portions are large and the ingredients have been homemade not prep frozen meal. Great for a group of people, they brought all the food together.

This place is phenomenal! We saw it as we were walking to the Guinness store house. As we walked back when it just opened we were lucky enough to get a table without reservations. So glad we did. The service was impeccable. The staff were friendly and inviting. The manager was fantastic. The food compared to the service. I love the small atmosphere so cozy. Please, take your time to find this place. Definitely won't regret it.

We where really looking forward for our dinner here as heard so much. Booking was for 8:30pm. Unfortunately we felt rushed by the person taking our order from start. It felt like we were on a conveyor belt & he just wanted to be done / flip the table. Other staff were lovely.
Starters were ok mussel risotto / ox tail a bit dry / deviled egg bite size was nice The popadum was my favorite innovative twist. We shared a bottle of white wine. For mains we had cote de boeuf to share expected a real treat meat tender perfectly cooked but nothing extraordinary a lot of fat has to be cut out. Shnitzil was also nice but u can get it any cafe in Austria. We shared x1 cheese cake for x4 people. Bill arrived: 110pp+ !
have had top tasting menus in Dublin 5-6 extraordinary dishes. For that price point one must deliver. We just left feeling fleeced. Essentially up market “pub food” (that was nice overall) but we felt it was too expensive for what it was 😔

Came here for dinner. It was a great meal. The ambience is very nice. The owner chatted us up, and he was so friendly and funny. We had the deviled eggs, bone marrow and sourdough, the night's special which was pork chops, the pork schnitzel, asparagus, and the choux bun and cheesecake. Everything was delicious. Recommend this place.

Extraordinary dining experience ! Each dish is carefully curated and perfected super fresh ingredients filling lovely wine selection cosy atmosphere. Starter selection can be stronger when compared to the mains there is a big step up lovely deserts to finish but mains remain top in the menu ! Highly recommend !

Best service and food of our trip. Only wish we'd gone sooner so we could go again! The staff recommended the Beef Cheek & Ox Tail House Roll (amazing) and the Chicken and Leek Pie (huge, also amazing). All around one of our favorite culinary experiences in Dublin.

On the main food, the fish was well-cooked but tasteless. Rather than the fish, the chorizo with its strong taste was the hero of the dish, the main taste you could get out of the dish. You couldn’t say even if the fish was there. The dessert was mainly a rhubarb jam topped with a tasteless foam. So again nothing spectacular.
The placement was too small but still could be managed better. We were a group booked for 4 & another one 8-10 super loud people booked at the same day same time sitting back to back. We were almost incapable of hearing each other; like sitting in a crowded pub. So all & all, the vibe also didn’t help with the experience of tastes.

Couldn't recommend this enough, we came in for an early bird meal on Friday and it was nicely full but not packed. Menu had just the right amount of selection and super affordable, 2/3 courses under 40, can't bate it. Wine was great and service was super.

We had THE BEST dining experience. This is a pub that turns into a restaurant at night. A VERY GOOD restaurant. The CockALeekie Pie and Bitterballen are must haves. Make a reservation days/weeks in advance. This place stays booked up, it’s so good.

The deviled egg with caviar was an absolute perfect bite. Loved the whipped mushroom butter with the sourdough bread. The Delmonico steak for two was 98 euros, so while the flavor was delicious, I wasn’t expecting one of the largest pieces to be 90% fat, only the tiniest piece was edible. I love rendered fat on steak and gladly ate the fatty bits on the other pieces, but those were steak with fat not fat with steak. It was served with a bearnaise sauce on the side which was irrelevant (maybe Irish people love that on their steak?). We couldn’t find a use for it. We tried dipping the chips in it, but ultimately had to ask for ketchup. The chips were nice and thick, but were undercooked and underwhelming. Roasted potatoes would have gone better, especially with the delectable roasted onions. The asparagus was fine, nothing special.

I’m judging this critically because when you advertise a Michelin star, and pay a lot of money, you expect more. Service was friendly, but they need to hire a busboy. Our empty plates sat in our way for quite a while. I went to the bathroom and was surprised they were STILL there when I came back. Gratuity of 12.5% was included on the bill, and I’m fine with that since I’m used to paying twice the gratuity in NYC, but we didn’t encounter that in any other restaurant in our two-week vacation in Ireland.

Food was great, i really loved the interior of the restaraunt. Overall had a great time, but one thing to note is that our main courses took quite a long time to arrive, and we found quite a lot of the dishes to be quite salty

Prior to visiting Locks, I was really looking forward to indulging in fine seasonal Irish food with some friends I brought along! However, my recent visit left me with a mixed impression. While the menu offered unique options and seasonal items and looked beautiful, the food arrived tepid & under-seasoned, falling short of expectations of warmth & depth of flavour.

Lastly, while the ambiance was pleasant, I was anticipating a level of hospitality and warmth that extended beyond mere formality by staff members.

Although this surprised me for such an establishment, I’m hopeful that Locks can use the experience as an opportunity for growth with their commitment to natural and seasonal flavours.

Excellent food and atmosphere.
I felt I am sitting in a restaurant in Italy.
Staff were amazing, service was great.

Had a risotto, a bit dry but others were beautiful. Fungi was my favorite. Calamari was absolutely delicious and generous amount.

We had a reservation on Saturday evening, the staying time was a bit tight that we couldn’t finish wine though.

Really lovely restaurant
It has a intimate atmosphere
Upstairs and downstairs seating

Would highly recommend booking - to popular for walk ins
The restaurant is wheelchair accessible but bathroom is located upstairs.

Has the goats cheese starter and Ox cheek for main course. Mashed potatoes side was also very good.
Food was absolutely delicious but it’s not a big menu.
Very enjoyable experience

Such a beautiful location it was a shame we didn’t enjoy our meal. It was a set menu of €49 which is fine but think it would be great to have a choice of 2 courses instead of having all 3 - The cheese was an additional €8 which I’m not sure why as there is no prep needed and bread was an additional €5.
The food all looked beautiful but not to our taste. Crab starter was cold dressed crab with warm bisque and the potatoes for the main dish of pork just were soggy and felt old.
Dessert was great!
Would be lovely to see a more approachable menu - we both struggled to pick anything off the menu which is rare for us. Overall there was a lot of staff on for a small number of guests and our glasses were constantly empty and the food looked beautiful but just odd flavour and texture combination. Left very dissatisfied.

I have to say that it went over our expectations. A few hours after our arrival in Dublin we went there for dinner and were sat at the counter. We couldn’t ask for more. The staff is extremely friendly and so is the owner. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great. A unique experience overall. I wish we stayed longer in Dublin to pop there again. Definitely recommended!

Everything about Camden Kitchen is fantastic. The setting is intimate. When you walk in the door, you are made to feel special. Which continues to the service and the food. The staff are very attentive and super nice, and Greg had suggested a white wine we had not tried before which was very good. As for the good, every course was delicious, from the chicken parfait (pate 😉) to the duck, and finally the apple crumble. Lovely, lovely, lovely. (And the staff were super accommodating to my fellow dinner who did not want coconut ice cream). This was my first time at Camden Market, but will definitely not be my last, and I shall be recommending to all my friends who want a lovely meal, served my staff who love what they do.

Nice experience here that we had Xmas dinner at Locks. The beef tartare was great! And the dessert was tasty, fresh in mouth not too sweet. Impressed by the side dishes. Service is warm and friendly. Very good.

This is a hidden gem. The food was genuinely outstanding. We got 3 starters and the steak as a main. Absolutely blown away by the skill.

Undercooked chips. Watery garlic dip.
Chicken wings were gross no flavour and a bit smelly. It all went in the bin. Really nice people who don't get the Americana vibe of the food their serving. The cheapest food cooked badly.

Really tasty middle eastern (Indo-Arabic) cuisine. Majorly a takeout affair. Really loved their soft (but thick) naan bread and the hot and spicy Phal curry. Definitely budget friendly and worth a try if you miss Indian food and spices.

Camden Kitchen - your neighborhood culinary institution that offers fantastic bites and a small but very well curated wine menu at a certainty fair price point. The Irish inspired dishes were all well crafted and presented in a aesthetic fashion for us to enjoy. Both the veggie and the fish/meat options were delicious. The staff was super friendly and attentive. One thing they could and should offer: A wine decanter! You are offering wines such as Chateauneuf du pape - wines like this need to be decanted to reach their full potential. All in all a top local restaurant which we will pay a visit again and again.

I just had a Kebab. Numerous hard little bits were in the minced breadcrumbs meat. Don't think it was bones.
Now I understand why the rules are so strict back in Germany when it comes to name your dish a real Döner. For a real Döner the meat needs to be real meat slices and not a mix of minced meat, fat and breadcrumbs.

Nice service tho.

First time here and won’t be the last. As ops manager for a hotel in the city I work late nights so finding good food early hours isn’t easy to come by but this place hits top marks.

I got the chicken tikka in Naan and it really is fresh. The meat itself was beautifully cooked and you could taste the charcoal and the salad was fresh especially the cucumber slices. The only fault was I ordered garlic and salad separately and added chilli sauce on the kebab but it was more like the meat was marinated in the chilli making it more of a marinade making it very spicy. No fault of the takeaways on my incompetence, I just advise ordering with garlic sauce and the chilli sauce separately with the salad. It would be a lot nicer this way and the way I’ll order moving forward.

Thanks lads. I can tell you take pride in what you do and I thank you for it. Highly recommend.

Really special dinner experience. It’s a classy dining room with attentive service. Our cocktails were pretty and tasty. The food was outstanding! Beautifully presented and delicious. The oysters were a standout with a fabulous sauce, and my fish was cooked perfectly. Make sure you get a reservation in advance when coming to Dublin, it’s definitely well worth a visit.

I love going here for a spicy chicken shawarma kebab after some drinks. It's absolutely gorgeous! €5.99 for the medium or €7.99 for the large (Pictured). Make it a meal for an extra €2.50 (Bag of chips and a can of your choice). Very friendly staff too. :D
