My husband and I stopped here on accident and were SO happy we did! The mushroom risotto was AMAZING and the lamb dish was very good too. Started with the cheese curds served piping hot and melt in your mouth good.

My roommate and I were hungry after exploring marquette and we find this amazing restaurant! The chef even let me eat my food right from his hand!

french cuban panini was good. I added Indian chickpea soup, the flavor was mainly of the stewed tomatoes that one can get in a can at any grocery store. Must confess this has happened to me before (taste of stewed tomatoes from can) when I grabbed a lunch to go before catching the train in the city. Whenever one sees soup on a menu secretly hope it is homemade, made from scratch.
Amazing pastries. The coconut almond frangelico was amazing and tasted like of like a mounds bar. Macarons were really good as well and they have a lot flavor options, the cherry and cream was really good. They also have sandwich and burrito options and made a great stop for lunch. Very good vegetarian breakfast burrito and they do warm it up for you when you order.
I was surprised that it was nearly empty on a Thursday evening. My partner and I visited after a long day of driving and it absolutely hit the spot. The service was wonderful and we will definitely be back!
Wonderful place to stop in for a drink and treat. If you sit and eat down stairs you will see the kitchen, everything is made there and delicious. My daughter and I had a wonderful time there ❤️
Food was good. The server was absolutely rude. Didn't come by to ask how we were, never refilled our drinks, and when my card wouldn't swipe because it's worn out, I tries to just tell her the numbers because I have it memorized and with a very snotty attitude she looked and me and said "I can read". Very rude staff.
Two words: life changing experience. We were lucky enough to get there while the seasonal winter menu was still being served. It was our first visit to Marquette and thanks to all the great reviews here, this was our first stop.

Love love love the atmosphere, staff were so pleasant and kind. The appetizers were INCREDIBLE, highly recommend the cheese curds. Changed my life. Ascended. The filet mignon was a touch disappointing, served medium well when I asked for medium rare; but I think that can be accounted to by the fact that we were here pretty close to closing. Loved their mocktails, especially the Grateful Dead. Creme Brulee was pretty solid.
Atmosphere was very, airy. Great view of the street and passersby. Think the heat was broken but had great company! Menu choices vary depending on the day before.

This is the ONLY place I order a hot dog at (they may deep fry them??) Quiet place for a Friday night at 7:30 but that was okay--Star Wars: Return of the Jedi was playing on every single TV. Imagine never knowing what Star Wars is and watching the Jubba the Hut scenes on mute?! What a wild fever dream. If you're lucky, someone will open the very inconveniently placed basement floor door and retrieve supplies...hopefully, they don't keep a rancor down there! Kimchi balls are 10/10, mac rolls are fine but overrated. Get a hot dog dude, especially the bulgogi one!
Lovely patisserie with the sweetest staff and sweet treats. I really enjoy the lunch options and savory snacks here too, not just the indulgent sugary sweets. It’s been a great place to find a table to relax or work in.

Didn’t order food but the drinks were great. I had the jalepeno cilantro martini and it was awesome. 4 stars for atmosphere bc it was a little weird that there were kids in there and people were crushing chambongs.

SO GOOD. Service was great, atmosphere was so cool - it’s a little movie theater! And the food and drinks were fantastic. I had the foghorn leghorn chicken sandwich and it was phenomenal. I had the mule and the cheese curds too. Definitely get the cheese curds.
0/5. If I could leave 0 stars I would. bone dry lanes, smells like old, musty dirty. Technology from 1980. If you’re in Marquette looking for something to do, this isn’t it.

This place has wonderful service and great food. I would eat every meal here, but I'm not sure about how good it is for my health. Still recommend 5 stars out of 5.
It is exactly what I expected out of a bowling alley, stuck in the 90s and fun as heck. Prices are good.
Put to many people with us was interfering with our game. To many balls thrown in the racks. Was many open lanes but put them next to us. To many people! Waste of money and time!!! They shouldn’t allow kids to roam by themselves!!
Great old school bowling alley. Food is good for the type of venue this is, and they have a nice bar for post-game beers. Some great sports memorabilia as well. Arcade will occupy the kiddos who're tired of bowling.

Fabulous place with great ambience! ✨ I was surprised we were able to get a table without reservations. If you’re looking for a great local spot in the U.P. to share with an intimate date, close family, or a night out with friends, this place is a hidden gem! 💎
Went there to get our bowling balls drilled after about 3 weeks of them telling us that will be done next week thay finally drilled them and got them back all messed up why offer a service if you don't know how to do it now I have to take my ball somewhere else to get it fixed

Wow... Just wow, it'll be hard to say how good Bodega is in words... Great look, great service, the food selection is awesome and tasted better.! Needs an extra star IMO... Plus everything is locally sourced a major plus! Cute bar in back, wanted to come back for that, but was outvoted! We love breakfast and this has to be in our top 3...too bad it's 5 hours away, but is probably worth the drive!
Husband's pasty had carrots and was NOT made with lard. He's a little high-maintenence, so this criticism was unsurprising. However, I give the Dumpster Water Grill 10/5 stars. I can't say enough about the simplicity of the atmosphere and refreshing nature of our visit here this winter. My cudighi and foie gras sandwich was perfectly seasoned, paired with cilantro caviar and a refreshing bottle of '91 Mad Dog in apple flavor. 100% recommended. Reservations would be helpful as it seemed there was limited seating.

One of my favorite restaurants in town! The food is always great and the service is wonderful.

Recommendations:
✨ They have the best whitefish chowder in town! You have to give it a try!

✨ Their breakfast tacos are really unique and extremely tasty!

✨ Their ceaser salad is really fresh and one of my favorite things to order!
It was ok. I think breakfast is their specialty we had lunch. Burger was dinky but tasty. Had to ask for ketchup and mustard to put on burger. Service was fair. Cabbage soup appeared to be left over was watery with very few vegetables. Atmosphere could use an update. Bill seemed a bit much for what we got. Salad was tired.

Digs was amazing! The service was great, our waiter was wonderful and checked on us just enough, made sure our drinks were full - the rest of the staff also made sure the food was good too and that we didn’t need anything else. And the food was SO freaking good! I had the big dill pita and my significant other had the Ruben, and holy cow - the food was perfect, seasoning was on point, corned beef was tender, and that dill cream cheese I would eat on literally everything. We will definitely be back.

Bodega came recommended on social media as a vegetarian/vegan friendly place to dine. I wish I would have found it out sooner! The server was friendly waited on me promptly and helped me make decision between two menu items. The food and bloody mary was absolutely delicious! The bonus is the food is made from scratch and from local ingredients!
Wowww!!! 👌🏽 I am wildly impressed with this place! Super modern ambiance and a kick-back-like environment. Excellent food- creative and interesting flavor and texture combinations, quality, fresh ingredients and a diverse menu! Popped in for brunch on a Sunday (brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday until 2 pm) and its not to be missed! Perfection 🤌🏼 in all the options we tried- from a Nitro Iced Latte (with a subtle maple flavoring 🍁- nods to Michigan Maple products peppered throughout the menu), a Milk and Honey (whipped Ricotta and an actual honeycomb), a Southern twist on an Eggs Benedict and the young one in our crew had some of the fluffiest French Toast I've tasted to date, from the kids menu served with a side of bacin and *actual* fruit (pineapple ans watermelon!). This place was worth every cent! Server, Andrew, provided us with excellent service and care, and had detailed answers for our questions about the history of the building and how that ties into the restaurants decor today! The giant projector you'll see on the wall was the same space used for movies in the old theater! (Thank you, Andrew!). Easily a new mqt favorite. ((Wonders if they'd recognize me if I popped in for dinner today also 🥸🕵‍♂️)) 🤣😜
Tip: There is two hour parking (unmetered) one block up moving away from downtown behind and up the hill from the parking garage.

Enjoyed a lovely breakfast with my parents. Croissant was toasted to perfection. Cinnamon French toast was the perfect amount of sweetness, didn’t even need to add any syrup. B&G was alright, had a strong chicken stock taste. Coffee was served in various mismatched coffee mugs.

We visit the UP every year and a visit to Delft is always a must. The food is delicious, staff is always friendly and you can catch a bit of a film while enjoying your food. I’m gluten free and there’s plenty of options. We love the Brussels sprout appetizer in any seasonal form and the burgers
They call themselves a Patisserie. They are a genuine Patisserie. I've been to Paris and other European cities, and European style cities this side of the Pond like Toronto, and 231 stands up.

Delightful sticky bun.
Got a triple or quadruple espresso, plenty strong, delicious flavor, *not* bitter, absolutely perfect.
Had a breakfast burrito, plenty of flavor and a nice balance of flavors, touch of heat and serves with Cholula to adjust to your preference and it all worked well. Also, it's been like 20 minutes since consuming it and it's sitting well.

Music is on point, really nice mix of jazz and folk and a few other things. Came here to write and read and such, music really helped me come in and out of focus, which sometimes I have difficulty doing, so, 10 bonus points for music.

Had light conversations with other patrons as I spent the morning here, very friendly.

Artwork is fabulous. Above the register is the silliest print: two old school robots on the Golden Gate bridge, one has just jumped and slammed down, causing the bridge to buckle like a child's playground and launching the other robot up. It's just silly. Meanwhile, in the seating area, you've got Batman brushing his teeth, a bunch of colorful astronaut prints, and a breathtaking woman in a dress who is also sewing her own dress and the darn light switch (like, the actual light switch) is painted to match and from across the room I legit can't tell if it's a real light switch or just part of the print.

Lighting is right. Not too much, so, if you haven't had coffee yet, you're not getting assaulted, but plenty of light to read and write.

For starters, how cute is this place!? Decorated with lots of local/UP decor, and the merch for sale is adorable too. Secondly, almost everything from the menu is locally sourced! How cool is that!! Thirdly, the food was amazing! And the prices were fair as well. I will definitely be back!

The Dill pickle pita is what I ordered and it was absolutely delicious. They do have a kids menu/offer kid sized portions like cheeseburger and fries, etc. Atmosphere was just like a regular bar. Lots of college kids, it appeared, mixed with tourists like us. Located right down town. We rode our bikes but parking looked limited. There were several drink options to choose from. Once they started getting really busy, the 2 bartenders/ wait staff obv seemed more focused on the people coming in. We waited about 10 minutes after we were done and sitting there before we were approached again. Our waitress didn't offer to get us more drinks, which kind of sucked bc we wanted more drinks. By the time we were offered more drinks, we had already received our bill, so no use to getting another at that point. Overall, the staff were friendly, there was good food and a good atmosphere and I would definitely recommend eating here for at least 1 meal your vacation stay.

They warm the syrup, plus! Offered coffee to go, Abby our waitress was great! Clean. $14.50 for 2 eggs, 1 pancake, coffee - a bit much. But good option locally.

Delightful atmosphere, located in a renovated theatre in downtown Marquette. The wood flooring throughout is absolutely gorgeous and they have movies playing on a huge screen for the kids. Fun! Food was good. Our party of four enjoyed burgers, cheese curds (yummy!), the halibut piccata & the steak tip baguette. Our favorite was the halibut - ssoooooo delicious! The steak tip baguette sounded good, but could have had less chew and more flavor. Beware the table water - very metallic tasting. They also had several Gluten free options and the server clarified sensitivity vs allergy. Our celiac guest did not have any reactions.

The BLT on cinnamon raisin bread was super tasty and unique, I would definitely come back for that (I added pesto to it). The bodega bloody was fresh and delicious. Goat cheese omelette on special was awesome. Really great service and vibes. No complaints here, can't wait to try more.

We have no complaints! So, so good!
This restaurant is also very inclusive of gluten allergies and dairy intolerance. We were able to customize our food. I would HIGHLY recommend the gluten free dulce de leche banana bread. We couldn’t get enough!

Very cool place and laid out extremely well old movie theatre. They have a board when you walk in of what movie is playing, and it's on the wall like a movie theater.

Took us about 20 minutes to get it. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable.

I got the chicken sandwich as my wife and my daughter got The Legend Burger. The chicken sandwich has aoli on a pesto bun with pickled red onions and Brussel sprout coleslaw. It was pretty good. The legend burger was extremely good. Fries were ok.

The game changer are the cheese curds
By far, the best I've ever had anywhere. And the spicy ranch is just as good. Pretty cool place

Overall I was good. When you first arrive you may be a little questionable on the looks of the outside but it's nice inside and the people are overall friendly. The food was decent and you could tell made with care and not just thrown together. The front room area is a little small but they have a backroom section as well. Overall I would say if your looking for a decent breakfast that won't break the bank check them out.
As devoted social influencers in the freegan community, we were simply delighted by this quaint dining experience. Their rotating menu and buffet-style offerings were exactly what this family ordered. The decor also felt inspired and the vomit stain near the bottom of the artisanal brick work was reminiscent of Basquiat at his best. We couldn't quite finish it all, but luckily take-home cartons (slightly used) were close by. My son gave the double boiled chicken skin two thumbs up! Don't pass by this unassuming, family-friendly, and pet-friendly culinary delight that provides an unpretentious urban vibe. City life meets home cooking, "Momma, I'm coming home!"

Absolutely amazing! I loved everything I ordered! My eggs 🍳 were perfectly yolky the way I like them which was a total score! Appropriate portion sizes. The milk & honey was absolute heaven! We will definitely be back to try more! Today we tried their weekend brunch menu.
Loved the place, was having some bad asthma issues, but once inside within 20 min, I was feeling better & symptoms nearly gone, but they lost one star for noise & the multitude of bright flashing lights I guess they don't realize some people can have seizures from flashing red or white lights. While they were at a birthday party, some had to leave solely because of those flashing lights . Overall, it was fun. I can't share any photos due to kids in them & won't without parents' consent & I'm not going there.

Wanted to try something different, and glad we tried DIGS. I got the pulled pork mini hot dogs. Exceeded my expectations, so delicious. My wife got the beef sliders and we exactly what I expected. Unique items, and great for sharing.
The glow blowing was a blast! And there party set up was great! Definitely one of the better birthday options for kids in our area
Such a great place for breakfast. The homeade sausage patties extremely delicious. The server was fast and friendly. The coffee refilled a lot and place full of people but didn't feel crowded. The decor is very old school but I loved it. Extremely glad we went here for breakfast on our Michigan vacation.
Very positive experience. Visited on a Saturday morning just before lunchtime. Our party of six was seated almost immediately, staff was friendly and helpful. I personally ordered a cudighi sandwich with the works and hash browns as the potato. I was very happy with my choice it was all perfectly cooked and delicious! Others in our group ordered breakfast and all were satisfied with the food. I would definitely visit again when in the area!

A fun small bakery with a decent selection of pastries. We got there later in the day after dinner, so I’m sure there’s typically a better selection. The white chocolate dessert was delicious! A great balance of sweet and tart. We found the flavor options of macaroons to be a little unadventurous. And some of the more adventurous options weren’t all that good. Our favorite was the fig!

Overall they seemed to have a lot of nice space for patrons to eat, work, or hang out with others. This was definitely a place I didn’t see being in the UP but Marquette is a great spot for it.
Marquette has grown and expanded quite a bit since I’ve been stopping in here. This pastry shop is one of the latest incredible things to pop up in upper Michigan. Who knew that a pastry shop in a remote part of America could make such stellar examples of French pastries? They knock many of their offerings out of the park. The croissants are gorgeous - no easy feat. I will definitely be back every time I’m in Marquette going forward. They make everything from scratch here and it’s worthy of a Parisian patisserie.

Cool place, good beer, and good service. I got the garlic cheese curds for an app and they were great - really loved the dipping sauce. I got the whitefish tacos and they were also really good. I recommend them for someone looking for something not a burger, dog or wings (others at my table did get them though and all were very pleased).

I've been here a few times for beer and trivia, but this was the first time we got food. The flavor of our sandwiches was excellent with in-house sauce. The Mac Rolls were a mind-blower, and even though the dipping sauce was a little thin it was delicious. I'll be back and will get them as my entree! They has Oddside's Bean Flicker on nitro, and that was a glorious experience as well. We played board games at the bar and, unlike other places around town, the games had all the pieces and were well maintained. It made for a good evening.
Great food, great prices. Tuesday trivia night is not to be missed.
