Presici testaroli con i funghi...mi aspettavo funghi porcini freschi invece sono arrivati funghi secchi misti ma non porcini reidratati ma qualcosa è andato storto risultavano tenaci e legnosi.. in quel di Pontremoli e con cotante recensioni avrei sperato in un piatto in pochino più curato...do 4 stelle perché gli altri componenti della famiglia hanno mangiato bene. Buono anche lo spezzatino di selvaggina.

In relazione a ciò che abbiamo mangiato e due calici di rosso dominante sangiovese con contaminazione di cabernet souvignon abbiamo speso non poco 119 euro in quattro.

This is a simple, ordinary, even dated, restaurant where every dish, every bite grabs your attention and wakes up your senses. This is my one and only visit here, but if our meal was typical then this is the real deal.

Serata di ordinaria follia!! Di passaggio, Inconsapevoli della nuova gestione, abbiamo "cenato" in questo ristorante. Accomodati al tavolo chiediamo subito un cambio di posata perché sporca, la cameriera porge le scuse e c'è la sostituisce,ci viene portato il menù a tavola avvertendo che buona parte del menù non era disponibile. Abbiamo preso 3 porzioni di testaroli (molto piccole) una delle quali presentava un grosso pezzo di pellicola trasparente cucinato all'interno!!
Ormai pronti per andare via Ci sostituiscono il piatto non addebitandolo in conto. Mi sembra il minimo!!
1L di Vino della casa senza infamia senza lode. Discreta la seconda portata. Caffè da 2 euro ciascuno, imbevibile!!
Dal conto facciamo togliere una bottiglia d'acqua nonostante fosse stata rimandata indietro. prezzo totale 98 euro, esagerato nel suo complesso.
In questi paesini,fonte di cucina genuina ci si aspetta ben altro!

Ottimo cibo in una trattoria semplice e verace! Prezzo fisso 11 euro per un primo, un secondo, un contorno, acqua, un quartino di vino e caffè!

Nel centro storico quindi con prezzi non bassi, porzioni non esagerate ma piatti buoni.
Due primi , acqua due caffè 36 €.

Un consiglio : se non ti funziona il bancomat metti un cartello fuori dal locale .non puoi dirlo all momento del conto .

Nice food, it's a good lunch spot. Love the seafood. We booked a table and arrived on time, it took so long to be acknowledged by staff we lost the table we booked. Were finally sat half an hour after our booking, during which a waiter rolled his eyes at us and complained because we needed a table with shade, not in the sweltering glass box. We had a baby with us and requested to not be directly in the sun in advance, we must have reiterated it a dozen times. But they took so long to organise themselves and seat us, they closed off the section with an empty table we'd been asking to sit at for nearly half an hour. It wasn't too late to sit there when we arrived, but it was when they finally remembered us. Had they sat us at the time we booked, they wouldn't have had to shift things around to accommodate us. There was no reason for that attitude.

Mi spiace averlo provato dopo il cambio gestione ma di sicuro non è più la trattoria della Bietola di una volta...Rapporto qualità prezzo INESISTENTE, non c'è un piatto sotto i 13 euro...eravamo in 4 ed abbiamo speso 72 euro senza aver mangiato praticamente nulla...un antipasto di salumi da dividere (3 fette di numero per tipologia, e noi eravamo in 4) 14 euro....un tagliere di formaggi 14 euro (seppur la qualità del prodotto fosse buona la presentazione ed il piatto era davvero ridicolo), 1 torta di verdure e un piatto di carne di maiale presentata su una foglia di insalata... acqua e mezzo litro di vino della casa, 8 euro nemmeno fosse stata una bottiglia!!! Mi spiace per il paese ma hanno perso una grande trattoria, almeno una volta lo era!

A causa di alcune recensioni insensate rischiavo di perdermi una splendida serata.
Cibo ottimo, atmosfera rilassata e conviviale.
Dico solo che in fase di ordinazione ci è stato detto che il coniglio con olive taggische era finito perché aveva solo 2 pezzettini e quindi non sufficienti a fare una porzione. Abbiamo chiesto di poterla ricevere comunque e oltre ad essere squisito ed un buon quantitativo ( a Milano ci facevano 2 porzioni) la deliziosa Sara ce lo ha regalato.

Breathtakingly good authentic Italian food all sourced locally and served by the friendliest staff you could imagine. Not cheap but you really do get what you pay for. Eat out back overlooking the valley. Reviewers complaining about the lack of a menu simply don’t understand the way things work in these parts. Highly recommended.

As a vintner I really appreciated that distinctive flavour of a red wine out of a demijon (that might have been sealed with olive oil)..so genuinely and old school. I'd say it was a Grenache too (i've made single varieta grenache). Having it chilled was perfect, as those light reds easily beat a chilled white any day.

Had a really good lunch here on route to Levento. Food was excellent, good atmosphere full of locals. Price was good too. Well worth breaking your journey for.

Nicely located restaurant. The food is quiet mediocre though. The coteletta Milanese I had was fried and the piece of meat was so unevenly that parts were still rose. The fries were a bit fluffy. Except for the tiramisu, which was quiet good. The service is quick and friendly. Although the first time I tried the get a table the waitress totally forgot about me.

What a gem in this fantastic little town! We felt welcome, service was fast and kind, the food was fantastic, and tons of wine choices. The place is clean and well kept, cute decor. The menu likely changes with the season and what's fresh, but we recommend the tortelli and of course, testaroli. Honestly all the food was delicious. Definitely worth a meal, recommend you call and reserve a table.

Ragazzi giovani che gestiscono questa chicca, piccolo ristorantino nei carrugi del paese, interno in pietra molto suggestivo. Piatti unici della tradizione di alta qualità, ad ottimo prezzo.

Non si possono pretendere grandi cose ,ma piatti semplici e saporiti sono sempre presenti.
Costo davvero irrisorio ma non ti fanno mancare nulla,come essere a casa di un parente, sempre piacevole e cordiale

Trattoria a conduzione familiare. Servizio discreto e veloce. Materie prime utilizzate di ottima qualità e di stagione. Menu base standard, completato da piatti tipici della "nonna" eccellenti. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo.

Di passaggio a Pontremoli, ci siamo fidati delle recensioni positive e che, soprattutto, lo indicavano come posto nel quale mangiare piatti tipici. In particolare, volevamo assaggiare questa torta d'erbe tanto decantata nelle recensioni. Il locale è molto spartano, il che per noi non costituisce un problema, in quanto interessati ad assaggiare piatti tipici caserecci. Personale dai modi sgarbati. È vero che siamo arrivati sul tardi (ore 14 circa), però nel menù proposto (a voce) non c'era nulla di tipico, al di fuori dei testaroli al pesto (che abbiamo ordinato). Per il resti proponevano piatti "banali", come pasta al pomodoro, al ragù, al pesto, bollito, finocchi bolliti, e poco altro.
Quando abbiamo chiesto della torta d'erbe, ci è stato risposto sgarbatamente che arrivavamo tardi in quanto la cucinano per la colazione...! Siamo rimasti male, in quanto poteva essere detto con altri modi, anche tenendo in conto il fatto che fossimo turisti, e che quindi potessimo anche non conoscere questa organizzazione. A questo punto, ci siamo limitati al primo e siamo andati a mangiare la torta in un altro ristorante! Non metto una stella in quanto il piatto mangiato mi è sembrato buono.

Siamo nel centro storico di Pontremoli, bello e inatteso per coloro che conoscono la cittadina solo come indicazione di uscita dell'autostrada della Cisa. E l'Osteria della Bietola si trova nel cuore del borgo, a due passi dalla piazza del duomo e dal Campanone.
Il locale è piccolo (25 coperti), rustico, senza un dehors (non c'è lo spazio), né vista panoramica, ma la qualità della cucina merita senza indugio la sosta. A maggior ragione se si considera la generosità dei prezzi praticati.
Cucina della Lunigiana, naturalmente, della quale Pontremoli è capoluogo. La carta delle vivande è sviluppata in maniera semplice: antipasto con salumi (tra i quali, immancabile, un eccellente lardo di Colonnata), "torta d'erbi" e torta di patate e cipolle; a seguire testaroli (piatto simbolo del territorio, qui realizzati alla perfezione), ravioli di bietola, ricotta e spinaci, tagliatelle, gnocchi di patate e gnocchi alla pontremolese (ovvero lasagnette di farina integrale, eccellenti), da condirsi, a scelta, con ragù di carne, pesto, sugo di funghi porcini oppure olio della Lunigiana. Tra i secondi, coniglio o costolette di agnello di Zeri, alla cacciatora o fritti (quelle di agnello valgono da sole il viaggio, tanto tenere sono le carni quanto fragrante è la frittura), cavoli ripieni, involtini di vitello. Per chiudere una cena (o un pranzo) di sostanza, sono disponibili un tiramisù "casalingo" (nel senso più alto) che riconcilia con un dolce troppo spesso avvilito da sbiadite interpretazioni e crostate con marmellate, prodotte quotidianamente dalla cucina. Le referenze in fatto di vino sono striminzite, ma non ne avvertirete il bisogno perché il "vino della casa" (per noi, un modello di riferimento del genere) è un buonissimo Chianti biologico di grande bevibilità.
Il servizio, come del resto la gestione, è piacevolmente e confortevolmente familiare. Senza rinunciare ad essere, oltre che cordiale, concreto ed efficiente.

Great quick prix-fixe working man's lunch. Primo & secondo, vino & aqua for a very good price and the quality is always top notch. The help hustles so have your order ready & don't expect chats if they are busy but they are both helpful & kind hearted. Great value.

Excellent restaurant. I ate here twice over my short stay in Pontremoli. The food is simply delicious, a festival of flavors for your palate. From the selection of cured cold cuts to the delicious tagliatelle with sausage & porcini or the incredible tortelli di cipolla con gola croccante you will rediscover the flavors of slow home made cooking just like grandma did.
The eggplant parmigiana & the lamb chops are also highly recommended. Finish your meal with a homemade crostata or any other desserts made by your host Signora Mara. Martina provides excellent service and can suggest the perfect bottle of wine to pair with your delicious meal.I will come back to Osteria della luna on my next visit to beautiful Pontremoli.

There are few places that I rate 5 stars and this has to be one of those. If you want a succulent lunch/dinner with elaborate dishes in a calm atmosphere, don't think twice.
This family run business can offer you exquisite food at honest prices. Absolutely recommended.

Nice staff. Our dogs was really welcome there. Authentic local food. We tried testaroli with pesto pontemolese (basil olive oil and parmesan) simple but good. We got also chiodo Al coccio ( sausage coked in special ghis pot). All food was good and quite cheap. I strongly suggest this place for a stop

We had the best dinner at Mara’s restaurant during our stay in Pontremoli. I can recommend this restaurant 100%! We loved it so much we went there for dinner twice 😊 Try the truffle pasta & the fig ravioli - a dream! 😍

Mara is a lovely host and great chef. Everything is made from scratch and tastes amazing. You need to try the tortellini with Parma ham and figs. Best pasta I've hab for a very long time 😋

Good place. The food is very good and unique.

Lovely find for lunch - access is off the via Garibaldi along a covered walkway (not obvious) but it has a terrace overlooking the river. Get there early as it’s very popular with the locals ( always a good sign) it was full by 1pm but we got a riverside table at 12. Traditional foods and local wine. No English spoken but we managed. Friendly staff

A group of 4 were all pleasantly satisfied by the testaroli with pesto, gnocchi ragu, ravioli ragu, grilled lamb, and gelato. The service was good, staff friendly, and ambient space.
