The people don’t know the menu at all and made the wrong sandwich even when I questioned what they were doing twice. They then couldn’t understand how to use the rewards on the app so I just gave up and had what they had made for whatever price because it was taking ages. Just go somewhere else if you stop at this services.

Had a takeout for 9 people from Apollonia Greek Cuisine, and overall, I was quite impressed. The order came close to £100, but the quality and taste made it worth it. We decided to collect it ourselves to avoid the risk of cold food from delivery services like Deliveroo or Uber. We ordered a good variation of dishes, all of which were tasty and well-cooked. The portion sizes were more than acceptable.

I found the mixed grill to be great and nicely cooked, and the chicken skewers were delicious. Overall, I was happy with the order, which only took 30 minutes to prepare. I will try and visit for a sit-in experience next time, but overall, it was nice food and definitely worth a try.

Have literally just eaten from here. I love Greek food and have been to the islands a number of times. I ordered a chicken gyros and it was just perfection from the first mouthful right up to the last and just took me back to my first one in Rhodes.

The service was excellent and a really friendly atmosphere.

If you haven't been here and are thinking about it, stop thinking and just go.

I have been visiting this restaurant since 2022 and i have to admit that the food is great like no other Greek Food store in Milton Keynes. Service is wonderful and staff is very friendly. I cant wait till I get the opportunity to visit again. I appreciate charbroiled meat very much , something rare to find these days.

Requested a receipt several times just to be ignored. Literally ignore twice. The staff then walked away again. Provided the order code 6 times to be told we haven't ordered as its not on the screen. I had to shoot down the cooking area to get someone to come out again to even try to follow the legal process of providing a receipt. They then produced someone else's receipt. Alderbury they could get our receipt as it takes 15 minutes in the office..... what the gel is going on guys. Sort ot out. Train your staff better.

Went for a meal, have not been to The kingy for many years, I used to work there back in the day and was really looking forward to it... The football was on, it was on loud all over the pub. So we could not enjoy our meal as we were having to shout over each other to be heard and understood. The customer service was non existent, such poor service by the two people who were working. Safe to say will not be returning.

We had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas with family. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The table was decorated with tinsel and crackers. The food was excellent. We will definitely be recommending the Kingfisher to friends and family and we will definitely be returning very soon.

Not good. We booked this place for a family get together before Christmas to exchange gifts and have a nice meal together… what a mistake!
On booking we asked for a table of 13, and specifically asked not to be separated.. What we were given was a table of 6, table of 4 and 2 tables of 2! All very well it was on a ‘stage’ where we were all in the same area, but most definitely not together! We all ate separately and didn’t see each other face to face properly.
It would not have been difficult for a pub of this size to push 3 tables of 4 together and seat us all together and possibly 1 on the end of that.
We had all driven 1-2 hours from Wiltshire and Hertfordshire to be together and that’s why we chose the location as it was about halfway.
On arrival we were informed that if we wanted roast dinner there was no beef available and turkey was the only option. That was ok as we had already decided to order from the regular menu, but that too ended up being a problem.
Most wanted steaks but these were also in short supply. After 2 orders they had to run back to the kitchen to see how much steak was left!
Our waitress was excellent and the only reason Iv given 2 stars and not 1 is the fact she came and wrote down our orders at the tables (4 of them) after we went to order at the bar and asked for a pen and paper… however, as we were all on separate tables the food came out very sporadicly so those of us that had something in front of us had to get on with it before it went cold.
The main reason for me writing this review is the shocking customer service I received from one server there.. she would get zero stars from me and the rest of my family present. I had received my meal, a sirloin steak (cold) that should have been medium rare. On cutting into it, it was medium well and definitely on the well done side. I called her over to show her my steak was well done, to which she replied “no it’s not” and walked off!!
I watched her go back to to kitchen shaking her head like we were a pain in the arse for being there and not ordering the easy roast they are geared up for on a Sunday.
The nice waitress did apologise and tried to make things right, but it was a bit too little too late.
We (mostly) ate our meals as we were all hungry after our journeys but definitely not you would expect from a Green king pub and certainly not what we are used to from a Green king where we live! Filthy finger prints all over the toilet doors and dirty windows are least of this pub’s problems.. rude staff are what makes or breaks somewhere like this, but I’m sure the locals love the place…. A lot of money was spent in that pub today but there will not be a return of business which is as shame as location great for us but.. 1 member of staff ruined the whole experience and we most definitely won’t bother in future.

New to the area so first time ordering for take out. Pleasant staff patient and nice. The meal deals are great value I ordered the Cali Cali burger which I so loved 😍 fries are great quality and tasty. I picked the buffola wings was not to keen on the sauce little thick for me will try another next time as a new customer. Service was great would definitely recommend to friends. Thanks guys :)

Very poor service at 15.40 today at Pagnell M1 Northbound Subway. First the person got my order wrong. Then he slammed it down badly wrapped. The food was very disappointing. Waste of money and lost a customer.

Not a good experience at all. Love the brand but this place is pretty disgraceful.

Had the sliders and little munchkin meals, sliders were all banging, as was the little munchkin burger. The fries were incredible. Great value and definitely recommended 👌

Has gluten free on the menu. Wait 10 minutes to get served just to be told sorry no gluten free.

My dad suggested that we come here for the carvery lunch. We was not let down as we found the food very fresh and well cooked. The service staff were friendly and the venue seemed nice and clean.

Booked a table for 3.30 Sunday 15th October. On Arrival they couldn’t find the booking. Not a problem was shown to our seats waitress was lovely. Took drinks order some 30 minutes later still waiting. 45 minutes later was informed that a delay with carvery waiting for mash potatoes and new meat. Not a problem happy to wait. Unfortunately when we did sit to eat our dinner it was cold. Having heard good reports about their food was really looking forward to returning sadly it just didn’t seem like it had improved.

We came last Sunday for a meal, the food and service were excellent but we feel the decor really let's you down. The tables and chairs feel like you're in an Indian takeaway and the artwork has the feel of a chain hotel from the 90s. Sorry to say the decor feels generic and not special enough for the beautiful building, setting and food you offer. Its a huge shame not to lean into the buildings history with more style and panache.

I have gone to this establishment on several occasions and it never lets me down the food is always good I recommend the steak. you can pick your steak and get it cut to whatever size or weight you want with several choices of meat

The food was amazing, the steak was cooked to perfection, the lamb on the shank just fell off the bone, best bit was that it was mashed potatoes not instant mash, the gravey was just right! will definitely be coming back here again!

The food is fantastic, the only reason I did four rather than five is I think there is always room for a bit of bettering. But it is fantastic. Value for money is brilliant and the staff are fantastic and very polite. Great aesthetic to the restaurant and great atmosphere.

This is the 2nd time I've been here. However, it wouldn't be my first choice for food. My family absolutely loves it, so I have to go as I'm always out voted, 😆. They do have some lovely food, but I'm a fuss pot, and I find some of the dishes are 'dry' as no sauce. The service is second to none, and they can't do enough for you. And if you don't book well in advance. Forget it. It's packed! I'm sure I'll be going again. I will be out voted as usual 🙄. If you like Turkish, then you have to go, you won't be disappointed. The food 4 stars is because I want more sauce! But as I said, the family loves it

Booked a table for 6:30 this evening. Without doubt, the most flavoursome fillet steak we have ever tasted. To top it off, the sevice was five star - pleasant, attentive, and genuine. Looking forward to returning a second time.

Lunch with an old friend.
Nacho starter to share, then we each had the 'Special' braised short beef ribs with homemade mash and fresh veg. Extremely tasty and filling. A busy service and well worth the visit.

Had lunch here with my parents and the service was prompt and attentive. The menu used ingredients sourced locally and were all delicious. It’s great to see a restaurant promote and embrace small businesses.

We had Sunday lunch here and it was really tasty. The food was served hot and there was plenty.
Staff were polite, friendly and cheerful.
It's not often I'm in the Area, but would definitely eat here again if I am.
Oh and parking was good too. Plenty of space.

Popped in for lunch as this was out the midway point on our trip up north. All the ordering machines were working and appeared clean, and service was very quick.

I ordered the triple whopper with fries and tango, my partner ordered the limited edition chimichanga fries and burger with a coke. The staff asked if we would like bacon on the chimichanga fries too, apparently this is an option but the machines don't tell you this!

The food was excellent, made even better by the fact we don't have a Burger King near us, and lots of seating to eat at.

Place nearly empty, stood at the bar for 5 mins and nobody came, wandered off to find another pub.

This is a beautiful hotel on lovely grounds. The restaurant is great and the staff are excellent. Rooms are basic but I'd take a basic room any day to have the outdoor space to relax and the great food and service. You can order online from your seat the picnic table and your order will be delivered to you.

They dont allow the Burger King App offers or anything, there is no point buying from here with a KFC next to it which is much better. Also no coke freestyle machine. The management of this Burger King must be braindead.

We went to the restaurant. The steak is supposed to be the feature of the meal... you pick your meat, size, how you want it cooked, say hi to chef. Was all pretty cool until we got the steak. I asked for medium rare. It was so chewy I couldn't swallow. For an overpriced pub meal, I was disappointed. I could only have a third of the piece of meat, and that was pretty average. The croquettes were nice, and so was the wine. Shame, really.

Honestly I would leave 6 stars if I could! Visited The Red House for my birthday today, my husband and I went for the afternoon tea. We had never been before and I was surprised a place like this did afternoon tea but I couldn’t be happier we decided to give it a try! As soon as we walked in I loved the place, the atmosphere and decor were perfect. The service from Pedro was absolutely impeccable, he was accommodating to my dietary requirements as I’m currently pregnant and was so polite and friendly. He really went above and beyond. The food was absolutely delicious and you could tell the chef really cared about the food he served, even down to the quality of the chicken in the sandwiches. Top notch! We will definitely be returning and I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone! Thank you The Red House for giving me a fantastic birthday lunch! :)

Been here twice now and both times the food was banging. First time had the Slaw Burger and second time went for the Cheesy Cheetos Chicken Burger which was incredible, lots of cheese sauce tasty meaty chicken, good amount of salad (a little messy, but to be expected) we had the loaded fries to go with it which were also decent, lots of cheese sauce and bacon and a good amount of seasoning including pepper. Prices are very reasonable and food is top notch.

We've just had a lovely meal tonight. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Thursday night is pie and a pint for £10. The meal was freshly cooked and the pie was homemade, it came with fresh vegetables, mash and roast vegetables and gravy. I'll definitely be going back.

Had a lovely meal here with friends. On arrival we were told their would be a wait for food as they were quite busy, and we hadn't pre-booked a table. We were seated right away in the garden room, which was quieter than the bar area, but suited us perfectly. Had drinks and a couple of sharing appetisers while we waited. Then the meals arrived so it didn't seem a wait at all. Main courses were delicious and very well cooked and proportioned. Good choice of desserts. All the staff were very friendly and l would definitely recommend visiting for a meal or drinks. So glad we decided to call in here. Thank you.

Lovely friendly pub, excellent food , spacious rooms, very well equipped, plenty of fresh towels, parking outside room, local well stocked shop, all same courtyard. Pub not rowdy at all at any time. Quiet area.

Good burger with a larger range than some other Burger Kings I've been to. Staff also seem to be doing a good job serving the customers.

Not sure five stars cut it if I'm honest, doesn't feel adequate enough. From the moment we entered to the minute we left I just felt such a glowing sensation. The young girl who seated us and catered to us throughout was so lovely, the food was immense, I haven't tasted anything quite so authentic outside of the Mediterranean and the authentic atmosphere and decor just topped it all off. The only let down and in no way a bad mark against the business, was the number of rude, jumped up customers that came in whilst we were there. It's bad enough when abroad seeing British arrogance but when we have visitors from abroad who have better manners than the locals, it's just downright embarrassing. They literally cost nothing and you don't even have to mean it, just makes you look a better person.

Stayed here for one night whilst attending a nearby wedding. I found it really comfortable - lovely room and very good breakfast. Great beer in the bar too.

My family took me to my birthday meal. Can not fault anything the staff was very accommodating excellent food. Even served a birthday cake with candles. Big thank you, The White Hart Team.

I enjoy the breakfasts here so much that my friend and I meet here about once a month for a full English breakfast with quality bacon, quality sausages and lovely scrambled eggs (other options are available).

Unfortunately on arrival we received a cool reception almost like we were an inconvenience. A local had to ring the bell for us located on the bar and still it took a while before anyone came to greet us.
Thankfully the person who served us at the table was friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. We all had a pie, mash and veg can recommend this.

Beautiful looking pub from outside. Had read good reviews. Dog friendly, so decided to go here for Saturday lunch. Inside, the pub is completely different from outside, it is completely soulless, all character gap been removed and it is bland with no atmosphere. Only 4 people eating and one man sat at the bar. Menu limited and typically sandwiches etc served with chips. After seeing how deserted and lifeless the pub felt, we decided just to have coffee and a dessert. Coffee lukewarm and not very nice. I ordered treacle tart, which had soft floppy pale pastry, appeared uncooked in centre, inedible but was warm so I assumed it had been briefly microwaved and returned it to the very pleasant barman. He spoke to chef who apparently said it hadn't been microwaved, it had been in the oven! Obviously not for long enough! My husband had lemon meringue pie which was cold, pale very soft meringue and tasteless filling, not nice. We paid and left, found another really nice dog friendly pub with a welcoming, friendly atmosphere and had a very tasty lunch. We would not visit The Dolphin again, nor recommend it.

Booked a table for 8 people on Saturday 11th March. The staff were amazing, very accommodating, and the service was excellent as usual. I love to book and eat here for the vegan menu. As a vegan you get sick of the only option being a flavourless bean burger, but not at The Chester Arms, this night I enjoyed tempura “cod” and chips and it was delicious! The rest of my party enjoyed their meat filled meals and the night was made special by staff joining in singing “happy birthday” to my 16 year old son. Thanks to all!

Introduced our friends the Wilson's to this pub, took them for Sunday dinner! They really enjoyed their meal as did we all. They tell us they have been back several times with other friends and family. Well done White Hart for such a nice meal and creating a warm welcome.

Treated to lunch by my mother in law. Food was good and well priced and they had a selection of alcohol free bottled beers to help with a dry January pledge. Happy to eat there again.

This is my third time visiting this place, since I live near by. This restaurant is best in Newport with decent prices. I tried cali cali and passion mocktail. Staff was full hygienic equipped. It was worth it.

This is the best pub food I've had in my whole life, period.

Everything's home-made, and tasty as hell. The vegan options are insane (forget the usual veggie curry or salad, we're talking vegan pies, vegan fish&chips, vegan puddings that are not just a scoop of strawberry sorbet, and more), and there's a plethora of them.

The staff is really kind and helpful, and the mood is super cosy, feels like home, really.

An absolute favourite.

Amazing from start to finish, especially their vegan food. Absolutely delicious and some more adventurous dishes such as vegan"fish" and chips, vegan "scallops" and a really decent pie. Excellent, personalised service, good beer, roaring fires. We will definitely return.

What can I say about this subway visit, well let's start with the menu! The joy of subway for me is that you enter pick your bread pick your filling then choose what salad you want, you make your sub your way, however in this one the choice is so limited 12 subs and they tell you how you have it, yes there was the create your own but that was basically only a unplanned mix of the other twelve! I have to say I was very disappointed with the selection and found it very hard to decide as I felt I was being forced into what subway wanted me to eat, not what I wanted! The gentleman serving was very informative about the situation and what was going on, and was very helpful, but I have to say that if all other subways go this way then I will really consider whether to go there if I'm being told how to have my sandwich and not given free choice as have always been used too! I might as well just go to tesco and buy and sandwich from there!

Great dining, food was delicious. We had the Christmas menu. Second time we've dined and the meal was excellent. It's been redecorated but feels like it's lost its character.

Super speedy delivery, chicken burger was great! However, the beef burger was not so good. A really good selection of toppings that sounded great, but somehow it didn’t quite work in the burger. Good, not great. Would give this place another try though as the chicken burger was good!

Absolutely terrible 50% of the que ended up asking for a refund including myself it took that long. After a really long day at work and still hours left till your home. To then be pointlessly stood in a queue for 40 mins still to get no food. And the staff quite honestly couldn't care. Like they just are so use to people complaining it don't phase them now. I'd just drive to any other services than waste my time here again

The best vegan roast dinner I’ve ever had! So lovely to see such a large vegan menu, and the ‘beef’ seitan was amazing! Definitely coming back for another roast soon 😊

Staff slower than a sulking snail.

In a rush so ordered a whopper by itself. Took 20 mins to arrive.
When I finally received the burger it was cold. Took it back and they microwaved it. All of it. Hot lettuce, boiling mayonnaise and steaming ketchup. No time left ot argue just had to accept it.

Burger King. Your restaurants are badly run. Every one I have been to has had problems. Last visit from me.

Me and partner who has a dietary requirement (gluten intolerance) went to subway because they have a GF option on their menu. When asked for the GF bread option however;
subway worker 1 to sw2 " do we have the gluten free bread?"
Sw2 " yes, but it's in the freezer and I don't know where that is"
Sw1 "oh, no we don't have any sorry"

How do you not know where the freezer is? Do you work here or not. Was it both their first day. Maybe go look for it? But no, instead it's easier to just say they don't have it after already saying they did. Bad customer service, lazy staff, poorly trained if you can even call it that

You need a big appetite! The food was lovely. I went as part of a staff party. We preordered our meas. I had the beef Wellington. It was lovely. However, not one piece but two. I did not have a starter (which were huge) and after my meal I was stuffed and satisfied. However I had forgotten I had ordered dessert! I could not finish that too. In fact t we all had two courses, and not one of us ate everything. Beautiful food, great service, reasonably priced but, and bear in mind I like my food, too much on the plate.

Even though we had to wait about 25 mins for our order (they had several large orders before us) IT WAS ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT. My husband and I totally enjoyed the two burgers we had (house special and slaw burger) as well as the maple glazed sweet potato chips were beyond good. We are from out of town, but would travel back for this!!!

Popped in to get a quick sandwich. Realised it was card only just as the guy had got the bread. Each to their own on how they want to charge people. But they have lost my custom. A bit crazy an international franchise accepting only card.

Great family dine in atmosphere and is a pretty good sports bar ! The service speed was extremely fast and very good ! Also the food was delicious , well cooked and tasty ! Another characterful English Inn. Popped out of the blue to have a meal with 2 family members and was treated like a local. Food, beer and atmosphere is top notch. My meal was fish & chips and it was very fresh and tasty. The Charles Wells Bitter was very tasty too and we will certainly pop in again when in the area.

I Ask For A Sandwich with A Little Bit Of mayo, And Took The Sandwich Back to my Car! Then Unwrapped The Sandwich To Find A Pile Of mayo On the Sandwich. I Felt the Employee Just Did Not Care Absolutely Horrendous.

Yummy. Love Turkish food done well so I'm both easily pleased and easily disappointed. Luckily in this case it was the former. Had mixed mezze and the special grill. Everything was very good.

If your staff training does not include manners and hygiene perhaps you need to rethink your training, I ordered a mega melt breakfast on 6 inch sub only to be given it on a flat bread when I tried to correct my order I was told I had to have it as it was made even though this was not what I ordered, then a member of staff turned up from another part of the services and took my order out the toaster without washing his hands or putting gloves on yet again when I brought this up he said I was only in which Smith. Very Very Poor

Went for the set meal which included a starter of hot and cold mezzes; a main of mixed grilled meats such as kofte, lamb shish, chicken shish, chicken wing and lamb chops; and a dessert.

I was pretty much full after the starter so took most of the main home. The portions are generous and we were given complimentary bread with some chilli and garlic dipping sauce - very tasty.

We had to wait 45 minutes for. Our table to be ready but that wasn't a problem as we were told when we made the booking it would be ram packed, and we were given some complimentary drinks - white wine for my partner and Efes beer for me. There was live Turkish music as well which kept us entertained.

The member of staff serving me was lovely and freindly

3 adults and 2 kids aged 6 & 8 on a busy Saturday night. Lovely food. Very nice friendly service and good portions. Team saw my wife had a 'Birthday Girl' badge on and surprised us with a Happy Birthday rendition and ice cream at the end. Great service!

The kids loved the food, including the good sized kids meal of chicken wings.
