Amazing place, got it recommended by a local in connection to work.
Very good food, but very busy place, so service is at slow at times and few mishabs, nothing against the waiters, they are polite and helpful, even if you don't speak Spanish well.

Comida reservada para grupo. Tardaron muchísimo en servir, platos muy escasos de cantidad y contestaciones fuera de lugar de una camarero . Sin duda me ha defraudado.
Visitamos Vigo en Navidad (error) y almorzamos en este restaurante. Algunos platos, como el rape al ajillo estaban muy muy buenos. Otros como el bacalao al horno no tanto. Las raciones son justas, ni abundantes ni escasas. Los postres sí que los considero escasos. La camarera muy amable, nos recomendó muy bien el vino a elegir.
yo fui varias veces a cenar con amigos y de celebraciones familiares, la comida esta muy buena ,estilo casero y la atencion es buena ,aconsejo a todos que pasen alguna vez por alli

What a terrific find in Vigo! This is truly fine and elegant dining but at a very reasonable price. Service and atmosphere was relaxed, which I always appreciate.
We had 4 different dishes, and ALL were tasteless. Chickpeas from a can, frozen mackerel, soup made out of what looked like industrial glue and tasting like what I imagine glue tastes like. Takes a special talent to not hit a target even once.

Remarkable little restaurant in the Centre of Vigo! Food had very high quality and tasted delicious (we had the salad, scallops, fresh fish and tried the meet and ended with the ‘egg’). 5/5 + very attentive and proactive service! Keep it up!
Un lugar muy bonito en el centro de Vigo. Decoración ecléctica y terraza muy bien utilizada pese a ser pequeña. Comida de vanguardia pero aún así con el toque de Galicia. Lo que más me gustó de su carta fueron los gambones con masa filo (de 10) y su ensalada.

I read some of the great reviews, unfortunately for the value, the food was not great. We had the gyozas which were good and that was as good as it got. The Tuna tataki didn’t hold well (we ate on a Sunday) the fish didn’t taste fresh, it’s a semi raw dish so it’s more noticiable when it’s old. The Cordero and the squid ink fideos disappointed. Way too much salt/fat. Two people and four plates plus 4 glasses was €66. At that price in a Galicia, food needed to be almost impecable. I wouldn’t recommend nor return. Service was lovely.

Simply the best food I've tasted in Spain. Everything we ordered was exceptional. The service was great in the beginning when there were not too many customers but then it was slower when it got more busy.
Staff were charming. Food was imaginative and very well cooked we had Turbot and shrimp and shitakke risotto. Nice music and ambience. Recommended.

Hasta donde yo se hay una ley que lo permite y obliga a los establecimientos a ofrecer esa opción. El caso es que coló y no se llevaron lo que sobró que, por otra parte, pagaron religiosamente. Pero bueno....en fin....

Really, really good dinner. All dishes exceeded our expectations. The season's mushrooms are a MUST.
What I don't understand is the endleess saxophone cover versions of old classics playing in the background. It really doesn't suit this place. I would love to make a playlist of quality music that matches the super food.

Excellent food at a very low price in the center Vigo. Two-gang menu and cafe for 11 euros, dessert for additional 2 euros. Quality is that of a star restaurant. Recommendable !
Delicious bacalao (salt cod) with beans and clams. Highly recommend, great menu selection with a good selection of wines.
This is probably my favorite restaurant in Vigo. Of course there are other amazing options that offer fresh and delicious seafood/traditional Galician dishes, but sometimes I want something different. The menu at Picadillo is creative and bold! I could honestly eat here 3-4 times a week. The staff is always friendly and very accommodating. Highly, HIGHLY recommend that you make a reservation here ASAP. Leave me a comment or a photo with what you ended up getting 💛 Much love to the Picadillo team!
Excellent food served piping hot straight from the kitchen. It’s worth noting that the chicken burger is minced chicken which my daughter found off putting and the baked cod was a bit too salty and the sauce oily however both these observations are just personal taste. Everything else our party of 5 ordered was excellent and I’d go back to this restaurant again.

Ugh, we went for lunch and had the worst experience from when we walked in. The waiter was soooo rude. They only do a set menu for lunch, which is fine, but it wasn’t great. Everything about this place is just bad vibes/not a good experience. Maybe dinner with the full menu and different staff is better?

Have been here before and had a lovely experience, however we came this evening for my mothers 70th birthday, and despite the restaurant being empty they insisted we sit right by the bleach smelling toilet. We asked to be moved, as this was a very special occasion, however they refused. Very rude service and awkward atmosphere and sadly we won’t be returning.
Fusion cuisine. Black rice not to miss. Unique dishes mixed with standard items. Love the traditional decor.

Their pulpo a la gallega is probably the best one I’ve ever had, it had some texture yet it was super tender at the same time.
Ask for what empanadas they have of the day. We tried the anchovies one and it was outstanding.
Try to make some room for desserts too, you’ll see them once you are entering the restaurant :)

I should also mention that our waiter Pablo went above and beyond with service, he even took a better picture and did a performance with octopus cutting 👌🏻😁

The food was fantastic! The ambiance was great! Service was spot on! I would definitely come back here on my next trip! Ps the strawberry dessert was my favorite!

A unique restaurant in Vigo Spain 4 for dinner. Impressed with the presentation and quality of the cuisine as well the service. The place is small but well lit and clean. We ordered 4 apps and 4 main courses all on point.
We wanted to try local food in a nice location. Again another gem!!
Excellent! We stopped in while waiting for our train and enjoyed one of the best meals we've ever had. We had a lentil soup opener that was most savory. We then enjoyed a egg omelette with prawns, greens and smoked salmon. The main course was bacalaho done perfectly. It was a beautiful portion of line caught fish and the best bacalaho I've ever had. Dessert did not disappoint as we enjoyed an amazing vanilla creme with cubed custard and orange glaze. The service was stellar. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Fantastic! Service, ambience, presentation. We went 2 nights for dinner. Hats off to the chef and his crew, able to observe guests enjoy his culinary delights through the glass. This chef is deserved of every award he receives. Go there, split the starter and main with the mandarin cava and enjoy putting a smile on the faces of those putting their heart into your dinner 🤌

The food is oké but not worth the price. Our entrecôte was not prepared as expected. It was prepared with far to much chili which made the balance not nice. Moreover, the combination of spices could be better selected. Salmon tartar with banana sugar chips is a daring choice but not very tasty in my opinion. On the other hand, the wines were very well selected.
We stopped here for dinner by chance, and were NOT disappointed. The service was friendly and kind, and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was creative and executed perfectly. Great value, highly recommend. Their Vermut on tap was delicious.

We turned up without reservation but they were kind enough to arrange a table for both of us with just 30 min waiting time.well worth the wait because the food was good, feels homey and service was prompt (the waiters are very very attentive, the moment you finish one course another will come right away). We started with bone broth on the house (so full of flavour), tried the saquito (this is a bit bland/sweet maybe just wasn't what we were expecting but the bechamel sauce was so good), arroz con marisco mixta (so full of flavour again) and filloas with crema (love it!).
Acabamos de casualidad un jueves en este restaurante. Fuimos sobre las 15:15 y nos atendieron muy amablemente, explicándonos que los jueves tienen cocido de menú pero que se les había acabado. Nos pusieron sopa de cocido de primero y dorada de segundo (a esta me acordé de hacerle la foto cuando me la acabé, estaba muy rica). El camarero nos atendió muy bien y muy atento. Había mucha gente y fueron rápidos. Volveremos seguro.
Es un restaurante lindo, un sitio donde se come el mejor bacalao. Merece la pena conocer y probar, también disfrutar de una charla con los propietarios, personas encantadoras que han traído la esencia portuguesa a ese lugar en Vigo.

Absolutely delicious food! Glad our first stop on the Camino ended up being in Vigo. The mango crab and lemon sorbet starter was recommended and it was beyond incredible. The portions are great too as is the service.
Very disappointed with the food here. I asked, very simply, for my burger to be well done. What arrived was a pink, tasteless lump of luke-warm beef, with cold soggy fries on the side. Paid €16 for my troubles. Would not recommend.

What can one say about this restaurant that isn't just pure excellence. The exquisite attention to detail, friendly and efficient service, everything 'just so'. The food was as one would expect in a top class restaurant, excellent cooking, imaginative presentation; the perfect dining experience. A definite box on your 'must do' list in Vigo. Chapó.

What an amazing experience in Vigo. Everything that we taste was really nice. Even without a properly table we had a great time. And the empathy of everyone was great.
Siempre es un acierto celebrar allí. Llevamos varias comidas y cenas de comunión, bautizo y cena de amigos , nunca nos decepcionan. La atención, el buen servicio, la ubicación, orden y limpieza, amabilidad y flexibilidad. Los menús que tiene son muy variados y con buena preparación. Comida en abundancia pero muy buena. Siempre lo recomiendo.

Don't forget to leave a coin in one of the available spaces between bricks in the old stone wall. It's supposed to bring you good luck.

And we went once again, and I lost my words in my mouth once again. I needed all my attention to enjoy those dishes. We tried some new items in the menu and I exploded in excitement. I couldn’t help licking my fingers and the plate, oops!!!
We are on the Camino Portuguese Way and stopped at Vigo. We are so happy to have had dinner here. The service was more than excellent and we felt so happy because everyone was so kind (we did not speak Spanish and could only speak English). The food was excellent and generous. We had the steak, lamb chops and the little dumplings. Definitely a must visit.
My favorite place! The menu del dia is always amazingly tasty! It's not a cheap place but it's totally worth it! (not expensive either) Bon appetite!

Nice place with traditional Galician food cooked in a modern and tasty way. Recommend 100%. As a (small) con, red wine is served a bit colder than expected.

Seafood is the boss here and it tastes pretty good, really. Octopus was very fresh and soft (my dining partner wished for less salt and more paprika, though) and the monkfish/king prawn skewer was on point (but we wished the portion was larger). They also served a cute little fried tapas to start.

Wow, what a treat! The service was phenomenal; our waitress was so patient and friendly as we tried to speak in our broken Spanish (luckily she knew enough English to help us along). The Rice with Monkfish and Scallops (Arroz con Rape y Vieiras) off the specials menu was truly unforgettable. Food portions were more than generous, and the prices so fair. Overall, it was a superb dining experience without any hint of snootiness. We cannot wait to go back!

The second time, we were more aware of the place. You have a first room - bar-style - and a second interior room - fine dinning - but that only opens after 21h00. We had the risotto vegetariano and the solomillo de anojo. The food was very tasty - although the meat quality does not really reach the quality of the preparation. The risotto was one of the best in Spain. The wine list was diversified, but on the expensive side, from a spanish point of view.
Overall, we will probably return next time - probably the better you know the place the more you will be able to navigate its ups and downs. Expect a 35 euro per person, with drinks.

Since my flight got cancelled out of Vigo, I had an extra day to spend some time exploring. I saw that Casa Marcos was one of the most reviewed restaurant in TA so I decided to check it out. The bf called around 1pm to see if they were open. Yes they were open and completely booked however we got Lucky and a 1:30 table was available. We left the hotel on foot and arrived there on time.
It’s nicely decorated and I felt that I was under dressed. They didn’t say anything so I was cool with it. Prices aren’t too expensive. Bottles of wine range from 16€+.
Bread: I assumed the bread was COMPLIMENTARY because the server just put it on our plates. Later when they bill came, they charged us 2€ for each piece. I didn’t even want it but since it was there, I nibbled on it. It’s not that great.
Then the server brought out a blended pineapple chupito with sprinkles of jamon. Weird combination - tasted alright.
Croquettes: delicious and came in an edible bowl. I was surprised at how many pieces were there - probably 8 pieces.
Foi special - the presentation was beautiful. The Foi with the sweet jelly on top of the toast was a great combination.
Uni scrambled eggs - I didn’t taste too much uni and it was very very wet. I thought it needed a bit of fluff.

What a great place for dinner: quirky yet cosy environment, original dishes, pleasant service and reasonable prices.
We stumbled on this place which looked very basic from the outside. The food was excellent. We had percebes, cigalas , chipirones encebollado and empanada casera. Everything freshly cooked and seasoned to perfection. Highly recommended and not touristy like many of the restaurants closer to Rue Pescadeira. The owner was so helpful and friendly.
