We had a table on the balcony with nice view of the beach. It was order at the counter service but staff were all nice. The calamari was soft and lightly coated in batter and chips cooked until perfectly crunchy. Chicken schnitzel with choice of sauce (we chose mushroom) was also good. Perfectly good pub food.
Awesome SLSC in an amazing location. Wonderful friendly helpful staff. Delicious food and excellent cocktails.

Have been going to PBSLC for years as my boys were nippers from 5yo … fun times … and now they are 29 .. love the club

But yesterday was a hot day … sweating it out inside having lunch while sweat runs down face and back 🤦‍♀️ meals great but uncomfortable with people fanning themselves with menus … not a good look … we arrived 11:30 …. I think aircon came on at 12:50 pm … too late … that should have been cranking since opening ..

Just a suggestion

A great local pub with a view and friendly people. Food takes a while but it’s worth it and really good. Live music is played frequently, it’s loud if you do mind it, but if you enjoy it, it’s great.

Highly recommend the fish and chips!

Went to palm beach surf club for lunch got the salmon that was nice n the chicken snitzil I’d never had it with the salt added I found was a little chewy n over cooked n meals are not cheap here really for a surf club drinks expensive all in all ok place to visit
Our table booking was exactly as requested which is advisable. If you’d like a special spot we always like to sit on the balcony if available and a nice day that never disappointed with a beautiful view of the ocean and sometimes dolphins.
A great surf club with large variety of tap beers and a large variety of food available, gaming and punting room for the Saturday arvo session. I will say if you want to go for dinner make sure you book as it is always busy. The staff are very friendly and helpful and management should probably put a couple of extra staff on weekends as you can wait some time to put keno on or get assistance on gaming machines as staff are busy at the bar. But all in all a great club and definitely worth the visit.

Busy Sunday lunch but managed to get a last minute booking. Arrived to a bustling bistro with beach views and loud but fabulous live soloist Rene Le Feuvre. Food was good pub food however Laksa lacked the depth and gritty complexity it is famous for but still tasty. Chips were awesome.
Tonight the four of us ordered a roast pumpkin salad with grilled haloumi, chicken parmigiana, beef Wagyu hamburger and a classic butter chicken.

Atmosphere.. we opted to dine inside and initial impressions was the floors needed a thorough vacuum. Heaps of TV screens to watch live sport. It's your typical RSL/local sports club bistro feel.

Verdict on the food..the missus enjoyed her classic chicken parmigiana. The roast pumpkin salad was generous and satisfied my teenage son requirements. The Wagyu beef burger was underwhelming as patty was over cooked and consequently very dry. I kept the best to last. The butter chicken packed with the wonderful traditional flavour. The chicken thighs was cooked to perfection and was perfectly immersed with the delicious sauce. The rice had a subtle hint of cardamon and gloves and was accompanied with sliced green shallots and a warm, soft naan bread.

If you are looking for an unpretentious place to dine, which is walking distance to the beach or Tallebudgera creek, this is the place.
Really enjoyed my meal tonight. So much better than last time I ate there. The difference in the food quality was really noticeable for me. Great service as well.
I'm a local and I love this place, staff and the atmosphere. I just wish they could get the food right. I had to send a meal back the other night AGAIN. I hope with renovations we get a new menu and new chefs and kitchen staff. We would eat here at least 1-2 times a week if it were good.
I went to another surf club for lunch today and the food was brilliant. So sad we can't have that at the Talle.😔

Very happy with our meals, the butter chicken was delicious and so was the fish and chips.
We met Vicki the first night of our holidays and she felt like a best friend from the start, the whole club has the best service, staff and atmosphere!!
We were eloping a few days later nothing planned for a reception just dinner and some drinks…… well our darling Vicki went out of her way and decorated our table with lights, a beautiful orchid centrepiece and to top it off we didn’t plan a cake so she went and bought us one so we could have one…… we love you and will never ever forget you all. They gave us more memories of our stay and wedding. Ps, Vicki got the bouquet!!!
Thank you, your friends from down south, Marcelle and Paul ❤️
A very friendly club the food was delicious 😋 the facilities were fantastic the deck was great and the staff were more than helpful and friendly.
Slightly disappointing as the food was only warm rather than hot…having said that our party enjoyed the fish and chips and burger…the chicken schnitzel was fine but the pepper sauce had a very antiseptic taste…efficient staff and a nice environment
Considering this is the most expensive item on the menu was somewhat underwhelmed. Members price would be closer to reasonable. Waited just under an hour for mostly cold items and greasy fried food that should have taken a few minutes. Quality of the actual seafood was questionable. I would suggest the club looks at the platter and if anything, charges more and provides a higher quality of food or scrap it altogether.
