Really great day out at Nederburg. Make sure you book for the wine tasting as it gets quite full. The wines on offer are exceptional and you can also buy there and have your tasting fee waivered. The setting under the oak trees is a perfect setting for Cape Wine Tastings. Really good day out
If you have young kids (or any kids for that matter) let them try the flavoured milk & cookie paring as well!

We have visited many a wine farms here in the Cape, but this has been by far the best wine farm we have been too. The atmosphere is fantastic and it's kids friendly, they have an awesome play area for the kids that left the adults to enjoy a lovely afternoon.
Nederburg was AMAZING! Words cannot explain our experience. We are South Africans and we never had a experience like this ever before. Who knew you can pair Coffee, Wine and food together! THANK YOU it was absolutely worth it! Get yourself some wine coolers and fill them up with their incredible wines!
Fantastic wine. I am opening a bottle of Nederburg Noble Late Harvest 2003 today (24 December 2023).
Was there with the Fanpark of Bokradio during the Rugby Worldcup. Enjoyed the atmosfere and have been at the estate before,definitely worth a visit. Nice restaurant and wine tasting.

A wine estate, in the Paarl. Awsome views of the mountains. There are 2 restaurants and a Farm Grocer to buy fresh products and gifts. Lots of space to walk and cycling around. I will for sure go back
Watched live music and rugby game on tv here. Food was good, prices reasonable, but temporary toilets had no fresh running water to rinse my mouth.
What a pleasant visit we had at Nederburg Wines. It was a cold and rainy day, but we were welcomed by warm smiles. To our surprise, without any prior booking, we were lead to a seat right in front of a fireplace. We enjoyed a complimentary glass of bubbles while we waited for the rest of our guests to arrive.
For the wine tasting I had mostly red wines and a dessert wine. There were two wines that REALLY stood out for me: the Brew Master from the Heritage Heros range, and the Nobel Late Harvest. I just had to get myself a bottle of each!
Bringing our visit to an end, each of us had a slice of carrot cake (and another glass of the Nobel Late Harvest...)
This was certainly and outing to remember. Thank you Nederburg, I will be seeing you again very soon!

My heart place, Boland, did not disappoint. We only tasted and bought wine. Now we are good to go back to the Free State. 😁
Exceptional wine estate! The sheer beauty of the estate superseded my expectations and I tried to capture the beauty in the pictures I took.
The wine and champagne tasting was presented by a most friendly and knowledgeable staff member; and although not a wine drinker I rather enjoyed the varied flavours.
The buildings kept to their originality and the grounds were extremely clean-cut. There is a quaint little deli to buy local produce and other yummy goodies and the most exquisitely designed restaurant.
There is plenty to see, take a walk or ride a bike along the carefully marked trails.
I was exceptionally impressed but more in awe of, well just about everything.
You will not be disappointed.

We had a variety of foods served at our table. From pizzas to hamburgers to chicken wings and cooldrinks and coffee. All was amazing and the venue was great. Lots and lots of people. TVs all around the venue and a huge screen in the front. People's behavior was reasonable especially during the game. But all credit goes to our waitor. She was on the ball
The wine tasting service was lacking. Our 1st bubbly was explained to us and then our server vanished. It took us a while to order our tastings and we waited for long for the bill.
What a charming place to spend the afternoon. Upon arrival, the staff was welcoming and friendly. Our server was well-trained, and she freely shared tales and her knowledge of our wine selection.
The cheese platter was delicious, and so were our mains. This was indeed an afternoon well-spent, and we certainly recommend a visit.

We attended the women’s day high tea. It was disappointing. Not sure why it was advertised as a women’s day “event”. It was just a regular high tea, and we didn’t receive any actual tea as advertised. Would not say it was worth the R500. The venue itself is stunning, and the food was tasty. But next time they could put a little more effort into the actual “event”
Stoep restaurant: I ordered skaapstertjies. When I got them 2 were ice cold as if almost defrosted. They were heated up for me. Then I received my rump that had so much sinew that I had to chew and chew eventually I had to remove it awkwardly. It was very embarrassing. This was the worst experience I have ever had. There was no apology from the manager. I'm very disappointed.
I spent a memorable afternoon with my best friend at Nederberg. We sat next to the fire and got taken care of the whole afternoon. Murdo treated us like royalty. The Ravioli was truly memorable, as for the port wine and Amarula cheese cake(that was heavenly.. what an experience! Thank you Nederberg, my friend and I had an unforgettable experience. I can't thank you enough..
Nederburg was five-star today! We had the warmest reception from Carmen and Mundo served us so well. Murdo was attentive to our needs and even had time for our very busy boy, taking him around to see the kitchen. We haven't had such a wonderful, relaxing afternoon in a very long time. Thank you to the chef as well for the food from heaven. One of my best meals ever! The beautiful farm, views in every direction, the great lawn and the fantastic, huge play area for the kids, just added to this great experience.
After scrambling on nearby Paarl Rock we decided on an impromptu visit to Laborie Wine Estate.
The security guard was super friendly and very welcoming, the grounds are beautiful and the character buildings are in pristine condition. Despite the car park being quite full it didn’t feel overly crowded which made for a relaxing and pleasant experience.
After having been shown the interior of the manor house we were seated on the veranda. Instead of the seemingly more popular wine tasting we ordered a bottle of the Laborie Rose along with the mixed charcuterie platter, both of which were delicious and well priced.
We will definitely stop by again next time we’re in the area!

It was really awesome. Their food is wonderful as well as the service.
They have a great menu! The staff is very friendly and the big trees in the garden creates a wonderful atmosphere!

Nice spot to sit under the trees and enjoy a wine tasting. Arrived too late to eat at their restaurant but the food prices look good and there's lots of grass out front for the kids to run around. Friendly staff.
