Relaxed atmosphere in a stunning setting. Friendly staff.
A wine estate, in the Paarl. Awsome views of the mountains. There are 2 restaurants and a Farm Grocer to buy fresh products and gifts. Lots of space to walk and cycling around. I will for sure go back
My heart place, Boland, did not disappoint. We only tasted and bought wine. Now we are good to go back to the Free State. đ
Exceptional wine estate! The sheer beauty of the estate superseded my expectations and I tried to capture the beauty in the pictures I took.
The wine and champagne tasting was presented by a most friendly and knowledgeable staff member; and although not a wine drinker I rather enjoyed the varied flavours.
The buildings kept to their originality and the grounds were extremely clean-cut. There is a quaint little deli to buy local produce and other yummy goodies and the most exquisitely designed restaurant.
There is plenty to see, take a walk or ride a bike along the carefully marked trails.
I was exceptionally impressed but more in awe of, well just about everything.
You will not be disappointed.

The wine tasting service was lacking. Our 1st bubbly was explained to us and then our server vanished. It took us a while to order our tastings and we waited for long for the bill.
We attended the womenâs day high tea. It was disappointing. Not sure why it was advertised as a womenâs day âeventâ. It was just a regular high tea, and we didnât receive any actual tea as advertised. Would not say it was worth the R500. The venue itself is stunning, and the food was tasty. But next time they could put a little more effort into the actual âeventâ
Stoep restaurant: I ordered skaapstertjies. When I got them 2 were ice cold as if almost defrosted. They were heated up for me. Then I received my rump that had so much sinew that I had to chew and chew eventually I had to remove it awkwardly. It was very embarrassing. This was the worst experience I have ever had. There was no apology from the manager. I'm very disappointed.
