Fantastic food, authentic, pretty setting, great experience
We visited Koukos on new years eve and had great fun! The staff were very friendly and DJ was a lovely lady who played a couple of Turkish songs for us!
We had a glorious lunch here recently. We ate on the balcony and had a view of the castle, the old town square and a touch of the sea. The wait staff were very kind. The food was delicious. At the end the owner gave us some ouzo café, which we had never tried and which is in abundance in Rhodes but you can’t seem to get anywhere else (we tried!). We enjoyed speaking French with her - she speaks 11 languages. Anyway, I would go back here in a heartbeat for an enjoyable Greek meal.
We went for a full body treatment and foot and legs massage. Both were great! Relaxing, quit, professional. The place is welcoming and feels warm.

After reading the reviews here, we had the mix grill plate for 1 and moussaka. It was more than enough for 2 people. If we were to go again, we would order a salad starter and the mix grill plate. So tasty and generous portions!

This is a beautiful garden restaurant, Greek taverna in the magnificent Historic Old Town of Rhodes. Seafood was fresh and delicious. Must try Greek liquor "ouzo". There is a live music every night. Service is really professional. We will be back. I strongly recommend this place.
We had traditional Greek food which was beautiful and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and attentive. The music was good and gave a nice relaxing atmosphere. We would highly recommend visiting here.
An amazing place to eat. Food is excellent, I recommend the grilled octopus - I’d give ten stars if possible!! The hospitality and service is outstanding, the view from the roof top garden is stunning. Please if you are in Rhodes Old Town - go here, you will NOT be disappointed. When I visit again I will head straight here.
amazing food, very attentive and funny staff and a lovely atmosphere. the carbonara was easily the best i've ever had. my boyfriend got the mixed grill for 1 and couldn't even finish it, so luckily i got to try some of that. tender and very well marinated meats and the cocktails were huge! great value for money and shall be back.
We have found this restaurant by accident during our weekend trip in June and it became our favourite place for dinner in Rhodes town where we returned very often during our next trip to the island. The restaurant is located in the newtown, has a charming garden under bougainvillea and offer modern greek cuisine and a long list of cocktails. We tried sea food, steaks, Greek specials, salads, desserts and all was delicious and very well cooked, we literally shared everything for two of us since the portions were huge!! I personally recommend moussaka, for me it was the best one I have ever had in Greece. MANY THANKS and hugs to the whole Team, especially

Had been planning to eat here ever since booking our holiday and it certainly lived up to my expectations. The staff were friendly and passionate about their profession. Wine was great and the food was the best I’ve had in Rhodes.

This place is a hidden gem! Very close to the crowdy street is this oasis where you sit under a large beautiful tree. It's soo idyllic! Excellent food and very nice service.

I chose this place because of the high rating and it didn’t disappoint. I love the decor, I love the staff and the food was amazing too. Fresh ingredients, big portions and reasonable prices! Absolute recommend!
Really enjoyed this restaurant after being recommended by my cousin. Lovely location overlooking the old town. Food was fresh, tasty and large portions. Plus the staff were lovely, so accommodating. That was only one place where we went two times. Really good location, not loud music. Drinks were really good, food also was amazing, what to be honest we didn’t expect. First time tried pasta and meat plate and thought that exactly this type of food is great, but nope, Greek food also really tasty. Service was great, really polite, careful and unobtrusive (in good sense). So I can say only one thing: thank you so much for our dinner! ☺️

First time in Rhodes and in the two week stay our only second reservation was to this Amazing restaurant, probably the best fine dining you will find in the old Town. Try it you'll not regret it
Did not eat here, just stopped off for a drink. Menu stated Mythos to wich we ordered 2, the bottles come and it wasn't Mythos some other beer that wasn't as good. Shame as we were still charged the same price as Mythos.
Located on a more calm and quiet street in the old town. The staff was very friendly and not too pushy. They have a seperate menu with vegetarian dishes I really appreciated. The vegetarian gyros was delicious!! Cocktails have a fair price and tasted great! I'd definitely come here again
The gyros was dry + also fatty. The waiter seemed irritaded with questions I asked about the meal. Probably the worst meal I've eatten in Greece. 💔

This restaurant is beautiful, and for atmosphere alone I would recommend. However, the food was marginal at best. Service was okay. The drinks were honestly terrible. We were with a group of 6, and across the board not one of us were happy with our cocktails/wine. One person on our group asked specically for lemon, not lime, and was served her drink with lime. When she reminded the server that she had asked for lemon, she was basically told that her limes were just premature lemons. 🤣 I ordered a Mojito, and I have no idea what I got, but it was definitely not a Mojito. Whatever alcohol was in it was not rum, and it tasted like lemon Pledge. My ceviche was prepared beautifully and was incredible to look at, but it tasted terrible, which was unfortunate. My entré, I will say, was good. I ordered the Tuna Kai. As I mentioned before, the ambience was truly lovely, but not sure I would eat there again.
Rustico is a lovely restaurant in Rhodes Old Town, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Joe the owner is a lovely man who only wants the best for his customers. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and will definitely return 😀
Amazing food and ambiance! We sat on the rooftop terasse with fantastic views of the squere and sea. I had the Hunters lamb witch came in an ernoumeus pot. The lamb was really tender with a lot veggies. Best meal yet in Rhodes.

Would give 0 if I could. No prices outside so should have known better. Ordered a slushy and a soft ice cream, which usually would cost 6€ altogether in Rhodes. They brought out a huge slushy that could feed 3 and tasted disgustingly sweet. Not what we wanted at all and NOT what was on the picture of the slushy (a small slushy in a cup was depicted!). Paid 19€. An absolute scam. DO NOT GO HERE.

By the time your reading this it’s most likely to late, but I hope this finds you before you step foot in this absolute scam central, how and why this place is in business is beyond me. We decided to finally go in to this place as it looked cool and we were just after having dinner across the street, anyways long story short we got one large cocktail that was basically a frozen juice and maybe 1/100 of it was vodka and ended up paying 70 euros for it, I’m telling ye when I went in to pay I thought I miss heard the lady with the poor English and a weird accent so I asked her to repeat when I seen the card machine I thought I’m hallucinating off something they put in my drink, 70 euro there is no prices on anything they drag you in and make it seem like it’s cheap then bang -70 euro for one drink. Please for the love of god stay away from these absolute rip artists nothing but dirt drinks and some broken TVs I wouldn’t give the drink to my dog.
Greece is an other story. Be aware of this thieves. My mistake for not having asked for prices. They rob tourists. 70€ for a big cocktail for 2 people. Should have been a Mojito Maracuja, was just ice and sugar. Terrible. Criminals

A very nice taverna with very good food. I opted for a feta starter and was very pleased I shared this as it was huge! A good moussaka, pleasant staff and great location makes this well worth a visit.
Horrible, ordered a Chicken slouvaki, the chicken is pink! Like completely pink! I asked to change it and they gave me a new plate with same pink chicken.

We visited this restaurant during a heavy rainstorm, and yet the staff welcomed and served us with a smile. The service was top-notch, with friendly and accommodating personnel. However, we were a bit disappointed with the flavors of the dishes. Despite that, the restaurant offers a lovely view, making it a pleasant overall experience. Kudos to the staff for their exceptional service, even in challenging weather conditions
The only bad restaurant experience I had was in Rhodes Town because of them. The service was horrible and the waitress was very rude. List of places to avoid to not ruin your trip.
AVOID SCAM PLACE... they do not give a menu..offer a cocktail which is large and sweet then want to charge you 40 euro per drink !!!!!!!!!! They do this to everyone and hope they get away with it. Just do not go there.
Great traditional Greek food in a beautiful setting. There was space available on the terrace when we arrived at 21:30. Service was excellent. Definitely recommended
We stayed from August 18 - 21. The hotel`s location, the bar and internal design were the best. But most importantly, the employees working there are unique - the best of the best! From reception girls to breakfast guys, the lady in the bar and even room cleaning is way better than 5 star hotels. We feeled welcomed all the time. And that was completely a great experience! Looking forward to coming again :)
Amazing restaurant! Only been open for two seasons and the food is absolutely delicious. Expensive but great value for money. It has a great garden space and very attentive, friendly staff.

We were walking passed and got ushered in and told we’d get free shots and air conditioning (we didn’t end up with either). As soon as we sat down we were told about every drink but no menu (didn’t think much of it as we knew what we wanted) ended up ordering 2 beers and 2 soft drinks and they came out with 2 litre beers and 1 litre soft drinks which initially we thought was good but then saw the bill and were trying to charge €60 for the drinks and struggled to finish it all. Do not come here it’s just a total tourist scam ❌❌❌

Had a reasonably good meal here on a day trip visit to Rhodes. Although it's close to the centre of Rhodes, our route on a scooter took us down very narrow and historical alleyways, which was interesting. We were looking for a Lebanese restaurant but discovered it was closed so settled for this place nearby. We both opted for Fish and Chips ,which was reasonably good. We followed this with desserts of Kataif and a Baklava both served with ice cream.
Overall the meal was good, service was friendly and the atmosphere great. We paid around 25 euros each .

Lovely looking restaurant. Staff look completely fed up. Food was way over priced for what it was. Very poor quality food. Plates cleared & cheque given to us. Asked within minutes of been given cheque if we wanted to pay cash or card. Not even asked if we wanted a dessert. Just wanted us gone to refill table. Great location but would not reccomend at all 👎

Writing this while still sitting in the restaurant. Traditional Greek (also have some pasta and steaks) but with a twist, traditional dishes like gyro and souvlaki are seasoned differently which is refreshing and super tasty. Menu is short but nice, cocktails are very good. Service superb, waiter's are perfect, fast and attentive. Overall one of the best places in Rhodes. Will be back.
Super friendly staff with good food and honest price. Relaxing and authentic environment, worth a try if u really like grilled sea foods. Looking forward to visit again on our next vacation.
Quite decent considering the very central location. Touristic as it offers menu in several languages. Don’t get yourself fooled by the fish, both sea bass and sea bream are farmed not caught in the sea! For a daily catch you need to go to a proper fish restaurant, alternatively order it with a day notice. Moussaka was fine, lamb was tasty but I don’t recommend the Greek salad. All in all for an authentic experience in Rhodes one needs to go somewhere where they don’t greet you in English/German/Polish/Swedish etc..

We have had an amazing experience. The food was delicious. I ordered staffed squid with feta cheese and it was super soft and tasty. The waiters have been extremely polite and helpful. During the evening there was also live Greek music which made a beautiful atmosphere. The price per person is around 20-25 in total (food and drinks) but it worth it as pery opinion.
Absolutely outstanding service, very very friendly staff, giving very helpful tips and recommendations. The food is great - the variety of dishes on the menu differs from other Greek restaurants around, giving you a chance to try something new.

Definitely a gem worth revisiting. In the calm area of the Old Town Rhodos, this restaurant is an oasis. Nice atmosphere, well balanced fusion dishes and great service.
The beef tartar was amazing, as well as Pork Iberico and Sea Urchin Pasta.
Don't skip the desserts - well worth it!

Found this little gem when walking through the old town. Lovely setting with some live music in the background whilst you eat. Food menu was vast and prices good. Definitely recommend and would return. I liked the fact it was busy and no touts were outside trying to drag you in.
Look for a different place..there many better ones around.

Rustico is a good place to stop and eat something whilst you're exploring old town. The restaurant is beautiful decorated inside with flowers and vines hanging down.
Being a vegetarian is always hard to find somewhere which does good authentic Greek food.

The name is now velvet cocktail sports bar. DO NOT GO HERE. Charged 90€ for 3 drinks. Ordered a beer and waiter asked ‘ big beer?’ . I said yeah fine.. ordered a fruit smoothie cocktail for 14yold and non alcoholic mojito for 17yold. The waiter then arrived with a 4L beer and two 1L drinks for the boys. When asked to see menu there were no prices. Waiter got nasty when I insisted on seeing the price. When I went to pay they tried to charge me €110. €40 for the beer and €35 each for the boys drinks. They had given an alcoholic mojito even though we asked for non alcoholic. They just play on the fact that you are a tourist and take advantage of you. This is the only place in Rhodes where we have been scammed.
If you are a fan of excellent food, fantastic service and amazing ambience then this place is for you!

The food is solid-nothing super specials. The tzatziki and pita are solid-but I expect nothing less when in Greece. Compared to other places, the seafood spaghetti was good, and the seafood in it was fresh and perfectly cooked. Zucchini fritters were not bad, but not crispy. Compared to restaurants that line the strip of hotels near the beaches, it’s much better—but not by much to be honest. But the ambience of the restaurant is nice and the service was good.

Incredible experience! The food was unique and amazing- perfect combination and balance of taste. Amazing shrimps, carpaccio, arancini , paella ,kataifi. I cannot recommend it enough. Plus the atmosphere is very different from all the other Rhodes restaurants- high class, good choice of music, wonderful interior. Very kind staff. Thanks a lot for the evening!
On our first night in Rhodes, we decided to take a walk in the old city. Looking for a place to eat, we stumbled upon this pearl. We’ve been mesmerised right away by the outside look of it! Once inside things haven’t changed. We’ve been welcomed by warmly mannered stuff that made us feel welcomed right away and seated us on the roof/garden under a flower frame! Amazing..

It was ok. But the menu was a little complicated, not many of my group (four people) knew what the foods were. But that's a normal tourist thing. The food was bland and from the freezer clearly. Service seemed okay but a little cold. Not many people in the restaurant. I also found a bug in my food, and lost a little appetite. (Picture attached of the bug.)

10/10 cocktails & holiday vibes with live DJ. Music was great and at a volume so you can actually talk! Perfect date night drinks!
We have visited today (3rd may 2023) *****Very nice place, - - lunch menu-- highly recommend, big portions, fresh and very cheap. Staff friendly, they don't shout at you at the front , to try to get you in, __that's why we went inside. Toilets could be cleaner and refreshed a little bit, but I'm still giving 5 stars as food was delicious and wine too. Thank you and will be back.
I think this is as good as it gets. We made a reservation and where welcomed oven do we where a lot earlier. The food was really good. And the staff was really friendly but exactly to the right amount. Found this restaurant by all the good reviews and have to say it's all true. Highly recommended
Initially stopped for a beer. Ended up having a boot of beer and the Greek mixed plate for one! It was huge. Stuffed vine leaves, stuffed tomato, meatballs, moussaka, stuffed aubergine, stifado, baked pasta & cheese and bread to soak up the juices. And a Greek coffee to finish. And to add to the atmosphere a guy singing and playing the guitar across the square. Place was really relaxed and laid back
Horrible restaurant maners, Didn’t check how the food was, had bad attitude and the food was even worse. Ordered a “Salomon and avocado salad” but received salad that taste like vinegar, four very small bites of Salomon, and 3 thin slices of avocado. The prices was way to high for that. Would never recommend this ever.
Beautiful setting. Ordered pork chop which took 45 minutes to come. It was over cooked and dry, coke that was draft and weak. Changed to a can. I would not eat here again.

Somehow this ‘restaurant’ managed to serve up an array of traditional Greek foods that all tasted exactly the same. I use the term ‘taste’ loosely as the taste was similar to sucking on the corner of a cushion. By far the worse meal we’ve had in Europe and not cheap. On the plus side, you could use the pita bread as a weapon should the need arise.

Found this place after doing a Segway Tour round the old town (the day before we left). Gentleman at the door was friendly and welcoming. One of our party is vegetarian and he whipped out a completley separate vegetarian menu for her. She was beyond pleased. Lunchtime menu is affordable and good quality. We enjoyed lunch so much we came back for supper. Supper time we were greeted as old friends and given some complimentary ouzo. We all had mains and deserts and several drinks. Food was wonderful. Baklava was out of this world. They then offer you homemade liqueur afterwords. This restaurant has a cosy atmosphere and the staff are warm and friendly. They are attentive but not intrusive. The first place we have been to where we haven't been rushed out the door after we have finished our food. We came back the following evening for our final meal before leaving. Amazing place. Will be back when we return to Rhodes.
Location is perfect in the center of town and on the beach... clean, friendly staff, food is tasty... all in all its very good and recomended

Beautiful cocktail bar hidden in the tree with a beautiful ambience, I had a lovely time enjoying drinks here. It’s an intimate venue for dates with loads of seating suitable for groups. Cocktails were very tasty and professionally made, staff were friendly and attentive. I would recommend a visit here if your looking for someone cute to take photographs (very Instagram friendly) and enjoy drinks.
