Was served by Jack. Lovely friendly lad, very polite and courteous. Very fast service. Had a Halloumi burger that was delicious. Fast food with a gourmet twist and finish. Nice chilled out and relaxed environment too. Extremely impressed

Ordered for the first time and very impressed. At first one of our burgers were missing, but after calling them they fixed the problem right away and even gave us 2 free drinks as an apology. The fries weren't too salty and the burgers just melted in your mouth.

Ordered for pick up ( this was our 1st time ,ordering from here) was a little late due to having an inspection (which was absolutely fine) staff was so kind and couldn't apologise enough, again was not a problem for us, we ened up get complimentary cakes and cream and extra sauce for the delay which we did not expect, the food was outstanding!! Thank you so much and congratulations on 5* on your inspection!
Really friendly staff. Part of the hungry horse chain, so same menu as what we'd had at another pub. Substantial meals, good value.
Food was awesome except for the cleanliness. My boss saw a fly in her food. One of the managers refused to do a refund afterwards.
One other manager was professional and nice enough to come to the rescue to do a replacement and refund for her.

Service was poor the staff was walking around and no one was on bar that time when we standing to order the food. The chips was not taste good it's better cut potato and made at home to be honest.

Fantastic pub grub and value...£10 burger and pint while euros are on,upgrade to the quadzilla it's massive! 3 baskets of chicken strips and dip for £12 is an absolute steal!

Excellent venue, shout-out to Katie (Im sure that's her name) behind the bar,very attentive, and actually remembered our drinks.. legend! And also Andy the manager, made us feel very welcome and acted more like a friend than anything. Excellent experience 😄
Excellent evening, was invited to play bingo with cards, very random but joined in and made to feel extremely welcome! This venue doesn't seem like a "local bar" at first sight, but within an hour, we were made to feel like regulars. Couldn't ask for more! See you when me and my better half are in the area!!

Breakfast was beautiful. We will be back. I don't usually drink ice coffee but thought I'd try the iced caramel latte and it was amazing.
Ordered food online for delivery and quoted one hour. After the hour I received an email to say the order had been cancelled despite taking a £45 payment which I now have to wait 3-5 days for a refund. Tried calling on the mobile number provided but no one answering. I will never give them my custom again, shocking service!!!!
Went for dinner today with the hubby and the food was amazing! Had a halloumi fries 😋 followed by chicken bhuna, (freshly made) naan bread, rice and home made chips with 2 pints of beer and a coke for less than £40. Very polite staff and nice atmosphere. Will be back!
1st time going to Chancel pub for food and it won't be the last. Just had the best chicken bhuna of my life(freshly made may I add) and I've had a few 😁. Service was spot on really polite and attentive staff. Me and the wife had a starter to share and the 2 chicken bhuna's (which also came with rice,skin on chips and a naan bread) a couple of pints and a pint of coke and spent just under £40.

I have been eating meals for years but it's been getting worse and worse and now I have decided not to go there anymore. The chips are uneatable, food not properly cooked and missing items of order. I know lots of people have been recently and said the same. Shame i used to enjoy eating there. 😪
Food is unbelievably good, we have had roast dinners, steak, burgers, fish and chips over a few visits and the food is always cooked beautifully, there are plenty of drink options and the staff are extremely friendly

Just been for Mother's Day lunch, starters were all very nice. Had Roast beef dinner, veg and Yorkshire's were ok but the beef was like boot leather, couldn't even cut it. No waiter/waitress came and asked if everything was ok, so told her when she came to collect the plates, she said I'll let the kitchen know. When she came back i asked if she had said anything, she said "yeah, we've had alot of complaints about the beef today" !!??. Unfortunately you have to pay on ordering, but there was no apologies, no complementary coffee. Overall disappointed.

Tried here quite a few weeks ago and the meal wasn't very good. I had the steak pie and the edges were burnt.
Thought we give it another try to see if it was just a one off. I had surf and turf, I've never had steak as dry as this one was. Had to dip it husbands gravy so I could eat it.
Saw some friends in there and they said their meals weren't very good either. I won't be going back in a hurry.

Had a great day at The Pink Pig Farm. My wife, grandson, and myself. Lots to do games, activity area inside, then all the activities outside. Live animals. There is so much to do. A visit to the restaurant at lunchtime where the meals are great variety and very nice. All the staff throughout were great. Would definitely go again.
Lovely place to take the family. Nice inside barn with cafe and play area inside for the children. Plenty of outside adventure activities for families, zip wire, trampoline to name a couple but so more. Then there's another building serving food which is more for adults. Parking is plentiful and well worth a visit.
Just had Tapas at the Horn and it was fabulous. Had 7 dishes and could not fault anything. Great service and a friendly welcome. Very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend the Tapas evening on the first Friday of the month.

We came in for meal to try food as we would be taking friends out the following wk. Hand pull beer was superb and food was very good, so booked for following wk. Not so good this time. Two had risotto which was really stodgy, one had lamb shank, which could have been cooked longer as incredible difficult to get off the bone, also served in a dish????. Previous wk had the Cherry rum bread and butter pudding drizzled with dark chocolate, delicious 😋. So had again, it was only bread and butter pudding. (Was still nice), but made a comment to waitress who said it was the "pot washer" that had prepared desserts????. No doubt we would have had some cherry rum and chocolate had it been prepared by the chef. We didn't send it back as we assumed the menu must have changed. Really disappointed with our visit 😕
Christmas dinner, all fresh , hot, tasty and very full plate. Excellent meal including decent Christmas pudding and not an individual one like most places serve.
We called in for a coffee, a very pleasant visit, we were allowed to take our dog through the cafe to the quadrant, the staff we met were welcoming and friendly, the drinks we had were not too expensive. We'll worth a visit if your in the area
Went for family Christmas meals, we weren't disappointed the meals were excellent. In particular, the venison was cooked beautifully 😍 evening enjoyed by us all .

Great food every time, from pies, to quesedilla. Also a great selection of beer, ale and ciders, with some regular on tap, and some new stuff regularly changed and switched so there's always something new to try also. Would recommend here.
Had a fabulous day with my daughter and grandchildren. Lovely Santa’s grotto, Santa was great, spent a lot of time talking to the children and it was nice not to be rushed through. My grandson loved being able to pick his own present from the elf who was so friendly and helpful and the selection of toys was really good. Also enjoyed decorating the gingerbread men. All the staff we’re very friendly and helpful we had a great day despite the weather.
Reducing rating as past 2 times we have ordered food has been poor. First time cheesy chips were stone cold (cheese had not even started to melt) and second time munchy box only had 2 wings (still covered in large feathers) and hardly any cheese on loaded fries.
Fantastic roast dinner (carvery) The meat just melted in your mouth, and the veg, potatoes, and gravy were so tasty. We will definitely be coming back.

Lovely setting great service. The food just let's the place down. For the prices I expected home made Yorkshire pudding but got a frozen shop bought. The meat wasn't nice at all. Bring back proper homemade food and a good cook then the place would be a 5 star.
I have visited The Pink Pig Farm today with my family and the place looks very nice. A lot of attractions for children and adults and also lots of activities. They got some animals and outdoor playground. There also is a small indoor soft play area. Suitable for kids any age. My daughter was very excited and we spent a good time. Nice atmosphere. Definitely good place for visits at summer time. There also is a Caffè and some food but we didn't try this yet. Definitely will come back.
Love this place and so does our two-year-old son. Lots of great things to do including zip wires swings, bobsled thingymabobs 👍🏻😂, air pillows, soft play, animals to see and much more
Visited after a few years gap. Pub is looking shabby now especially outside area. Broken stuff everywhere. Food was nothing to write home about. Had fish and chips and the batter was horrendous. Very small menu too. What a shame, used to love this place

1st class quality meal & service for me and my good lady - i had sirloin steak with pepper sauce whilst she had chicken korma. Both dishes were excellent, better than expected really - nice pint of john smiths too finishing with 2 irish coffees - a good price overall and wouldnt hesitate to recommend to everyone.
We're not locals but popped in for dinner as we were in the area. The staff Chris and Beth (hope I got that right guys) were incredibly welcoming, attentive and I genuinely felt they really cared about there customers experience. The food was great and amazing value for money, I highly recommend the steak n ale pie chips n peas ( with proper gravy). All in all I highly recommend this place. We'll done guys great job 👍👍👍. If we are in Scunthorpe again we will definitely pop in for a beer and a bite.
A good family day out. The indoor play area is really good with plenty of facilities. Although there is lots to do outside including sand pits & animals to visit, go-karts etc it does seem that the outdoor area needs a bit of a spruce up as certain areas do look tied.
Quite expensive compared with some of the other farm parks we’ve been to worked out at £50 for a family of 5. I would give the park 5/10 for value for money.

Ordered Delivery at half 6 turned up 2 and a half hours later at 9pm even though it said it was getting delivered by 8:05pm burgers are Disgusting the chips are over cooked definitely wouldn’t recommend ordering from this place £40 down the drain!!!! What a waste of money
My nearest pub and one I'm more than happy with, breakfast for my wife and me have been great, service is always good but we only tend to go at quieter times so couldn't comment how easy it is to get served when it's busy. BTW if you want to sit down and have a breakfast this is far quicker service than Macdonald's (the not so fast fast food chain)
I just have visited Queens way Pub with my partner and our daughter and I would like to give them best feedback I can. We have ordered three quite big meals and everything was ready less than twenty minutes. I was very impressed. Food was delicious, meat and fish taste very fresh. Burger big. I can't find any issue. Prices are same like every else but food is much better. Highly recommend that place if you want spend time fits friends or family. Good for dinner. Didn't try breakfast yet but I will come on my off day. Breakfast today morning. 15 minutes waiting time. Really quick. Very tasty. Could be bigger offers for kids. Menu has change, they got some new offers. After visiting today can say the prices went just a bit up but still worth. Food is delicious.
Malt shovel is a warm friendly run pub in Ashby, the amazing tasty food is incredible with a great menu they have all the time to delicious specials they put on each week. The servings are always more than you expect that I unfortunately sometime can't manage, which disappoints myself because I don't want to leave one single mouthful on the plate. They are very accommodating about the menu, if you don't like something or would rather change a certain aspect to it to your liking they will check it is doable an change it for you. The fresh tasty outstanding food and chefs is just one part to this pub. The staff behind the bar and waiters are lovely happy kind peoplewith amazing engery for front of house, Lucy and her team are a credit to the place which keep you wanting to return time and time again. They are great entertainment on Saturdays with different singers or bands, all together it's a fantastic restaurant/pub. A underrated pub that isn't given enough credit, I would say it is one of the best in Scunthorpe! I'm never disappointed, going each time is like going home. If you've not been yet definitely book a table and get yourself there!! 💞
Fantastic pub. Extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff who make everyone feel welcome. Fantastic selection of real ale and craft ale and craft cider alongside the usual lagers etc on tap. The beer is always in good condition and any problems are sorted out immediately! Brilliant food menu with all the pub classics on and some more adventurous stuff too! ALL home cooked, no microwave wonders here! The food is exceptionally reasonably priced, the drinks are a bit on the pricier side for the area but given the range and condition of the beers, it's a price we'll worth paying in my opinion. I strongly recommend booking ahead especially at weekends!
As always, great customer service and friendly staff, food was really nice, we took the kids in for a early week treat, big thumbs up from them.

We enjoyed the food and the beer and the bartender was charming. It is not a 'destination' pub so don't expect the Savoy. But if you are looking for a sports pub with good beer it may be worth a visit.
Been a while since we've been here, lovely to it's the same owners. Food still as good. Huge serving of food. Thankfully some things don't change.

Fabulous, cosy pub with homely interior. Staff are friendly and really attentive to ensure you have a good time. Food is fabulous, really tasty and the chef makes a massive effort to provide a good menu. Staff really try their hardest to ensure you feel Covid secure and space tables out and maintain discipline in a sensible way. A lovely, friendly place to visit

The food was undercooked and the portions were extremely small. One staff member, who had just started his shift, had a bad attitude and made a rude comment about being short-staffed. We used to go to this restaurant regularly, but after this experience, I will not be returning. I have also contacted the brewery to express my dissatisfaction.

Excellent meal, which was a carvery it had a choice of chicken, ham, beef or a trio of Lincolnshire sausages. You get a choice of meat which arrived with a Yorkshire pudding which melted in the mouth. The selection of vegetables to choose from carrots, suede mash, cabbage, peas, mash potato, roast potatoes, a selection of sauces & gravy. Service was good and food cooked to perfection, cost was reasonable for what you can have.
