I had such a phenomenal experience at Damara Spa today. From the warm greetings from the reception staff to such an amazing and relaxing facial done by Ramia. I highly recommend her and will be coming back to her next month!

Worst experience with a spa.
Not only don't have a noticeable organization as they called me 3 times to confirm an appointment.
They also charged my girlfriend for an appointment that I booked for her as a birthday gift. There was a previous call where my card information was captured and clearly was noted on thin air, since it didn't happened.
Also that a regulated profession ask you for a tip, seems so wrong that it makes it just certain about not coming back; it's like if your dentist would ask you for a tip for cleaning your teeth.

Booked a service for my niece and I for her Birthday. It was the first time at a spa for both of us. The staff were helpful from booking to being there. Will be recommending for my friends that visit Toronto.

I had an amazing experience at the Four Seasons Spa in Toronto for Thanksgiving weekend. The spa itself is luxurious, peaceful, and the perfect spot to unwind. I had a massage with Greg, who was absolutely fantastic—he was professional, attentive, and made sure the whole experience was relaxing and tailored to my needs. The location is perfect, offering a serene escape right in the city. Highly recommend Four Seasons Spa and will definitely return! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Had a lovely spa day at the Four Seasons. Spent some time by the heated pool before my service. Had a relaxing facial with a wonderful face massage from Kathy. Then relaxed with a chamomile tea in the lounging area. The amenities are beautiful. There are
crystals in the treatment rooms as well as in the water decanter. The robs are soft and fluffy. They have truly thought of everything. Highly recommend.

I wanted to celebrate my birthday in a different way... pampering myself, so I decided to make an appointment at the best spa in Yorkville, Toronto. Since I arrived at Novo Spa, the attention of the reception team was wonderful, my RMT Assia is spectacular, I have no words to describe how relaxed it made me feel. After the massage I had a “Skin Renewal” facial with the best beautician Connie, she checked my skin and explained to me step by step everything she was doing. The result was amazing. Honestly, this Spa is totally recommended.

I go here often because everyone is kind and helpful and every appointment has been better than the last. I recently went and hung out in their lounge and enjoyed their selection of teas. My massages are always so relaxing and their staff are so attentive to my preferences and pain points during the session. Parking is a bit tough in this area so make sure you give yourself enough time to park before your appointment.

Exactly what you would expect from the 4 Seasons.
The amenities are first class.
You get to wear a 4 Seasons robe to die for.
The massage starts with a choice of aroma oils. The massage is wonderful. When it's over, your robe has been warmed. Steam room,

showers all with excellent products. Not cheap but worth it.

I been going around 5-6 months for facial treatment with Conie, and since my 15 years, I have not seen my skin this great as of then. I have rosacea and nobody could’ve helped me as before. I go every week, and I use the products they use themselves. The staff & the place is very cozy.

I had a Bachelorette at the hotel and we all made use of the spa. The staff was friendly, professional and did a wonderful job with our services. I got a facial and body wrap and felt very rejuvenated after. The spa had a nice jacuzzi, sauna and tea available! It made for a very nice time.

I made the mistake of trying to book a spa package for my wife's birthday with Novo Spa earlier this week. After trying to book a time slot online, as one would with any modern business, I saw that they only sold gift cards online and you had to call to book an appointment.

I called in and confirmed with an associate there that I wanted the the Novo Escape package for my wife. We discussed available times and landed on a 12:30 massage to be followed by an hour facial. At this point, she began trying to take down name and credit card details over the phone. The associate was deeply struggling with understanding the name spelling and payment detail numbers to the point that I didn't feel comfortable providing them further. I told her that I would make the gift purchase online (for pickup on the day of service) and confirmed that the time was still 12:30 start. I confirmed with her TWICE if this was ok and the time would be held to which she replied yes. I immediately made the purchase and got my order receipt, so I assumed everything was fine.

I got the sneaking suspicion this morning that she had not held the time, so I called to confirm the booking. A different associate answered and confirmed there was no booking under the name provided, and that there was no availability for massage today and other services weren't available until 2. We planned our entire day around the original agreed to spa time, so even if I could get past how frustrated I was with this place the timing wouldn't work.

The kicker is that when I expressed how much this ruined our plans and requested an immediate full refund for the package, I was told that the manager wasn't around and that she "most likely" would refund me sometime next week.

Such a poor experience and with no remorse to how it put a damper on my wife's birthday. Lost customer, and I would not recommend based on this experience.

It was our first time here, and my partner and I booked a 75-minute couples therapeutic massage. I can honestly say it was the best massage I’ve ever had, and we both had an amazing time at the spa. Special shoutout to my RMT, Sidney, who did an incredible job and was super friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. Although it was on the pricier side compared to other places, it was definitely worth it.

My favourite spa in Toronto. They have all the amenities and staff are friendly. There are small bites and tea at the lounge.

I highly recommend a facial with Monique she is highly skilled at explaining the procedure and is very good at what she does.

Relaxing and enjoyable experience!

Been going every 7 weeks or so for the oxygen 3-in-1 facial. Absolutely love Julia & Sophia for aestheticians, great relaxing experience

Came for appointment for 2 people.
I wasn’t told to be there before the appointment time to book in forrms, or the forms were bot set online to be filled prior.
Came in for a one hour appointment
Spend first 5-10 mins fiiling form,
Then some time using washroom
Then some more time changing

And the massage began 15-20 mins after the appointment time

So we got like 40 mins of massage and were charged for one hour
We paid about $280 for 40 mins massage

And gave 15% tip

The receptionist said, is it 15% for one therapist pr both, unhappy from the time spent on massage, i said 15% total..
She said the tip goes to individual theapist and i should do 10% each for the tip

I was. Very annoying by this point.. we ended up sending over $300 for a 40 min massage. What a rip off

Had my massage with a senior RMT, I guess it is partially my ego’s fault for not telling him that he pushed too hard at various points on my cervical spine (he reminded me at the end that this was only “medium” force—I think his max force would be lethal). I found the pillow uncomfortable as with the force he pushed down, there was no room to breathe. I’m fairly certain that it was obvious that I was gasping for air between pushes. I now have a shooting pain in my neck that I will likely need to get imaging for. For the price paid, I was hoping to leave more relaxed than injured.

Fantastic first Thai spa experience!! I came here with my fiancé for a couples massage and we were blown away. We loved the private sauna session as well as the 90 minute massage and stretch by Len and Laura 😍 we have never been stretched like this before! This will not be the last time we’ll be back.

This was my first time trying Thai massage. I have suffered with headaches and stiffness in my back and neck for the past month and could not find relief. I booked a 90 minute massage with Jun and couldnt be happier with my experience! She is amazing and I am now a true believer in the benefits of Thai massage. The spa itself is very clean and the staff welcoming. If you are contemplating booking a massage, do not hesitate! I highly recommend!!!

The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The spa itself had a serene ambiance and provided excellent service. However, I was disappointed with the massage as I had expected a 90-minute Thai full body massage that included a back massage, but it focused mainly on stretching and leg massage. While the overall experience was pleasant, the lack of attention to the back left me slightly unsatisfied.

I had an amazing experience at Bahn Thai Spa! The Traditional Thai Massage and Wellness Centre is a haven of relaxation and rejuvenation. The therapists were incredibly professional, providing a treatment that left me feeling refreshed and energized. Special thanks to the receptionist for their warm welcome and helpfulness. Highly recommend this spa for an exceptional wellness experience!

I had an absolute wonderful experience here while visiting Toronto.
Very professional as soon as I walked in the door. Every room and hallway I entered was neat clean and beautiful. My massage was extremely relaxing. I will definitely be back to visit!

Me and the wife are from out of town and had to check this place out first hand . All in all a great experience . Got a quick tour around by Veronica ( I believe ), told the rules and given a free drink card for each of us . We thoroughly enjoyed the different themed rooms , the outdoor heated pool in January is super awesome . Didn’t find too many pushy single males most are fairly respectful will likely be back again . Thanks for a great time !!! On a side note though the drinks are way too expensive and when I was waiting for my wife to get her towel on upstairs I had a staff member approach and ask “ are you up here with your partner “ . This same staff member, had just served us downstairs 5 minutes prior . Was kind of off putting for me a bit . I know they have rules and I like that they are enforced but also common sense should come in as well . So tips for newcomers , pre drink or you’re in for an expensive night and stand beside your partner all night . Won’t deter us from going back but just putting out the only two downsides to our night .

Staff was amazing especially the bar tender with the long moustache, (super professional and very respectful for the way he serves drinks) and the security guard always made us feel very safe and comfortable! 11/10 experience, pool was amazing too!

Unique and comprehensive massage experience! The Thai massage technique was new to me but I loved it. I felt incredible afterwards, I will definitely be going back. Warm and welcoming atmosphere, friendly and professional staff.

I really liked their service. They have knowledgeable staff who know what they are doing. Products being applied are tailored for your skin. Overall facilities were super clean and service top notch.

Got a RMT massage done and enjoyed the jacuzzi hot tub before my services. What a calming environment and lovely customer service. Facilities are very clean. My massage therapist really did a great job and I have less back and shoulder pain. Thank you SpaZen!

Be careful if you think you can claim massage services through your insurance, they are not Massage Registered Therapist, therefore you will not be able to claim throughout your insurance.

I was just here on a first time visit. I was with my lady for my birthday this past weekend. We had a blast. It was very comfortable and we played in many different areas of the building. I would definitely recommend and will likely be back soon.

The experience is always above par. The workers are friendly, welcoming and helpful. They go above an depend to make sure you are comfortable and your experience is enjoyable.

The spa itself is beautiful and extremely clean. There are 2 lounges (unisex and women's only) where you can relax before or after your treatment. They provide you with fresh fruit, cookies and hot organic tea.

My massage therapist was excellent. She definitely knew her stuff and worked out all my knots and tension.

I've been going to NovoSpa for over 10 years and even though I've moved to Kitchener, I still make the trek down just to visit.

Great weekend crowd. Place is well maintained and cleaned at regular intervals. Your night will really depend on you and your partner’s mood as well as the environment that particular night. My visits to the Oasis Aqualounge throughout the summer were filled with sweet drinks, relaxation, and fun. The staff are friendly, enthusiastic, and courteous to guests. I will never get tired of their hot tub and dry sauna. Congratulations on acquiring another patron to the club, I'm going to keep coming back here!

Where do I begin, it’s all fabulous at this place. The staff are very helpful and clean all areas perfectly. They care, and are super fun. This environment truly is sex positive. Being a single lady new to the club visiting from out of town I was as comfortable as if I’d been always going there. Elegantly decorated, all amenities necessary were easily accessible, questions were readily answered. Open Mic was awesome thanks to the all inclusive welcoming vibes. The Dungeon was the perfect place to explore some new desires. I am 100% I would come back over and over again. Toronto LS community is Epic thanks. Hugs Tonsalove

We requested in writing, in advance , extra strong deep massage to deal with neck and shoulder and back muscle pain. None of these areas were addressed. The staff never informed us that they could not do deep tissue massage, which is because neither of the masseurs were RMT certified...they are only esteticians. The massages were a waste of time and money.

I called on july 25 and booked an appointment for july 27th the same thursday.

When I got to the spa I was told that my appointment was cancelled due to them not reaching me.

The number they called on my "file" was wrong and whoever I spoke with to make my appointment didn't even think to confirm it with me. Due to their error i wasted my whole day, can make up work some how but the fact they wasted my time can not make up.

Went there last night for the very first time. Was very welcoming! Charlie the bartender is fantastic.

At first I was a little nervous but came out of my shell after feeling the vibe. Everyone’s very accepting and the staff is great. I have 0 issues. I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a whole new experience or just a place to chill.

I’m glad I stopped in on my vacation. I’m definitely coming back!

I had a full arms wax here today. Mitch was very professional and his work was clean, unrushed, and comfortable. I also got a goodies bag on my way out. I am skeptical of new places because of sponsored reviews but this place ain’t one of those. The place was very clean, aromatic and open. Definitely would visit again and recommend others. If you want parking at street pay attention to signs at street or there’s parking at back side as well.

Such a beautiful spa. I’ll definitely be back! I feel like they don’t overbook people which is nice because often I had the whole pool or sitting area to myself so it was ultimate relaxing. I also went on a weekday which could have been why. Everything from the music to the ambience was so relaxing. I did the lime and macadamia 90 minute scrub and wrap and my god was it absolute heaven. The staff are amazing. The facilities are so clean. For anyone that’s going with the opposite gender, the pool and hot tub area in these pics are shared which is nice. The steam rooms are in the changing rooms. Can’t wait to go back!!!

I’ve been meaning to come to this spa for a very long time and finally I did a few days ago.
I started with 1 hour deep tissue massage and I loved it!!! My RMT, Marius, was excellent, welcoming and very professional.
The facilities are amazing, I specially loved the steam room, it was super super hot!! OMG and the bathrobes were so cozy, especially all warmed up after the massage!
I relaxed on their beds, their lounge areas as well as by the pool.
All the staff was extremely welcoming and super friendly, I had such a wonderful time at this spa.
Definitely a must try spa in Toronto!!!

We came here for a couple’s massage and enjoyed the experience thoroughly. The staff was so welcoming and the vibe of the place is so relaxing. Right from the smell to the music and the aesthetic, every thing was on point. We loved the massage. It was well done and all our concerns were addressed. Definitely coming back again!!

Update: worst spa experience -
Just did a spa package at the Elmwood and the comparison is non existent. THE ELMWOOD was amazing and also had a multicultural INCLUSIVE group of staff members..
Again management has done nothing to change this extremely racial experience I had. Which will leave me to never using this spa or recommending it again! Internally training is a poor excuse of handling the situation because the victim (me)still only reaped the poorest experience your spa could have offered.
Speaking with management was no help. Sure.... Jackie was apologetic, she mentioned additionally training would take place, but all in all.. it was an awkward conversation; she invited me back but there was NO mention of any compensation until I brought it up...
A "discount" was offered but at how much? WHO knows. I am so unpleased and turned off, and definitely do not want to waste my money coming back for the same awful service.. not unless the same package (my mom bought 2 as a gift!) is offered to me to make up for my time wasted the first time.
If Jackie is the one training people... I understand why service is the way it is....
I have been dealt with in great ways... and poor ways.. this was one of the poorest.. she did not want to work with me ..
Jackie is business orientated .... not customer.
I would like to come back and be offered the same package at no cost...
Again I repeat, go elsewhere if you can..

PREVIOUS REVIEW:
Spa: overall the spa was nice, clean, and had a consistent theme going. On the smaller side - accommodates 3 people at a time it seems (3 massage rooms, 3 manicure/ pedicure chairs, etc)… I was the only person there at the time and couldn’t imagine being there with other people would of been congested and too much to me.

Massage: relaxation massage was okay, have had better; was slightly inconsistent, what was done on the left side and the right side was totally different and random at that. The music stopped a couple times and I was in silence… eventually it was turned back on, the massage chair was extremely squeaky and made noise during the massage.

Facial: the facial was nice, no complaints the products used left my face feeling clean and fresh!

Manicure: my entire manicure was done with latex gloves on which was really weird and uncomfortable…
The scrub wasn’t lathering into my skin properly because it was being rubbed in my the gloves… my entire spa session was done with no gloves on so why now.. I kinda of wanted to get up and leave, didn’t want the manicure.
I chose the colour I wanted for my nails and she actually told me it was too close to my skin colour…..
(Very brave statement to make in my opinion! Also an opinion I did not care to hear). She continued to tell me.. she is someone who tell they’re clients what’s going to make them look pretty….

To top off the “lovely”service, my cuticle oil was put on by a fully dressed (coat, boots, scarf, hat) and ready to LEAVE spa therapist, who’s last words to me were “I’m not trying to rush” ….

(Note: it’s March 4th, the day it dumped snow, I understand you want to get home.. but I came down here in the same weather conditions you did…. and it made me think if service is always like this or service was like this because I came down on a snow day!)

I was going to use the amenities they had but decided to LEAVE because it seemed like I was holding the spa up or something…. and had a sour taste in my mouth…
I tipped out of decency, but I am turned off at the service that can be provided now a days.. it was beyond poor

save your money! too expensive for what’s offered..

1. I was sent an email at 2:50pm reminding me about the 24hour cancellation policy, (my appointment is 2:45pm tomorrow… thanks for sending me a timely reminder 5 mins after the 24 hour mark…)
2. When I arrived at the spa, the front desk was dealing with a bill discrepancy with another guest that was just leaving, ekkk

I absolutely loved the experience - so relaxing and deeply enjoyable. Mitch was fantastic, thorough in his process and gave me a lot of perspective on skincare. Loved it. Look forward to coming along more!

I went for my first visit and I’ll definitely be back. The treatments are so thorough and professional, with knowledgeable and caring staff that ask the right questions. You can see how dedicated they are in how the prepare for their clients, and keep them calm and relaxed during their visit. It was the perfect way to end off a stressful week. I feel fantastic and I can’t wait until I return.

My partner and I had such a relaxing time at SpaZen. We arrived early, and spent some time lounging and in the hot tub. We were the last massages of the day, so we had the place practically to ourselves! So so nice. Massages were great, and they really listened to what we had to say. We can’t remember our massage therapists’ names, but whoever was working until close on February 16th deserves a raise!
