As the title of Land of Statues, there were magnificent and huge statues everywhere. The city was quiet and clean, and the dignity of the huge statues was wonderful.
Alexander the Great raising his sword to aim at the cross is perfectly captured. I recommend going at sunset.
It is one of the best statues you will in your life. A huge statue represents the Alexander the Great. It includes the Statue and a nice fontain. It is located at a great square near the stone bridge. A lot of coffee shops are around it.
As a Greek, I have mixed feelings about this statue of Alexander the Great. I'm not going to analyze my thought and lose the whole point, I'll just say it's a very beautiful statue for the town and it really adorns the square.
Pomnik upamiętnia czasy gdy woda w rzece była czysta i ludzie przychodzili w to miejsce popływać. Łatwo go przegapić.
Such a cool statue right by the stone bridge in Skopje. Look over the end into the river not to miss it.

Georgi Pulevski , czasami także Gjorgji , Gjorgjija Pulevski lub Đorđe Puljevski (1817–1895) był pisarzem i rewolucjonistą. Pulevski urodził się w 1817 r. w Galičniku, wówczas pod panowaniem Imperium Osmańskiego, a zmarł w 1895 w Sofii - Księstwo Bułgarii. Z wykształcenia kamieniarz, stał się pisarzem samoukiem w sprawach związanych z językiem i kulturą macedońską. Dziś jest znany jako pierwszy autor, który publicznie wyraził ideę narodu macedońskiego odrębnego od bułgarskiego , a także ideę odrębnego języka macedońskiego. Mimo że Pulewski był wczesnym zwolennikiem macedonizmu, ze względu na swoją probułgarską działalność wojskową, w Bułgarii uważany jest za Bułgara.
Pomnik znajduje się w dość nietypowym miejscu i pewnie sporo ludzi przekraczając Kamienny Most nawet nie zdaje sobie sprawy z jego istnienia.

Bardzo ładny pomnik jednego z narodowych bohaterów Macedonii Północnej. Umiejscowienie pomnika jest również zaszczytne, doskonale wkomponował się w otoczenie.

As statues go this one is very impressive! I couldn’t get enough of it! Every time I saw it I couldn’t get over the size of the statue and the presence it brings to the main square. It’s just so empowering and is mighty in the city. Well worth a look at it.

A very impressive statue in a great location of the city, meaning you’d be crazy not to check it out. When the water fountains are operating it’s an even more impressive sight and there’s plenty else to admire in the local area while you’re there. One of my favourite spots in the city centre!

If you are still wondering why there are so many statues of historical figures all over the center of Skopje, imagine yourself in a brand new country that's keen on creating a national identity. At the turn of the twentieth century, Dame Gruev was one of the founders of the Internal Macedonian Revolutionary Organization which sought independence from the Ottoman Empire.
The monument is 5 meters high, made by the architect Zarko Basevski, and the castle is in Fonderia F.Marinelli in Florence
