Anytime Fitness has made working out a pleasure rather than a chore. The gym's layout is well designed and the equipment is modern and user friendly. The staff's encouragement and willingness to help have significantly boosted my motivation.
This has the ideal environment for my fitness routine. The gym is spacious, clean, and well-organized. What sets it apart is the staff genuinely cares about helping members reach their goals and create a positive gym experience.

I love the inclusive atmosphere here. It doesn't matter what fitness level you're at – everyone feels welcome. The variety of equipment and classes available ensures there's always something new to try, keeping workouts interesting and effective.
Beautiful history, lots of space, low maintenance equipment is rusted, service is magnificent, bathrooms outdated but it has its charm; needs better explanation of what is happening, I have been in the fitness industry for 20 years but this place needs some TLC and better management IMO
One of the most predatory gym contracts in the system. Cramped small spaces to work out. If you’re forced to work out here I’m sorry for you. The bar is the only thing worth a damn. If fitness is your goal go else where. The contract system they have is purposely predatory to keep you in the system paying.
The coaches are amazing and the tribe family is welcoming not to mention the workout are definitely challenging but doable .. glad to be apart of the tribe 🫶🏽💪🏽

1st day there
Pros: does have a boxing bag with gloves and countdown timer for rounds.

Middle ground: good size gym with your typical workout machines.

Cons: DOES NOT HAVE A SHOWER ROOM

Been a member since they opened and they’re continuing to update the gym with new machines, keep the place clean, and create a great atmosphere. No complaints and still a member

Been going here for years and it’s convenient, clean and members are great. Staff is accommodating and welcoming. Has most things needed and always open to suggestions. It’s good for my needs
I love it here! Coaches and even classmates are awesome and always help me when I need it. They even check in on me if I haven't been there in a few days, it's really good to have that accountability

It was a dream come true once I got into this gym. Anytime Fitness is awesome. The staff was the best ever. Friendly, helpful, also they drive you to push harder through your workouts. I love this place. Will forever be a member of this gym.
One of my favorite places in New Orleans!

Working out in a historic building is quite a motivator.

The facility is incredibly clean and beautiful. There's a pool, a boxing ring, multiple floors full of equipment and they also offer all types of classes ranging from boxing to belly dancing as well as various social clubs (included in your membership)

I also like this space because I get to study for my classes in the lounge or library.

NOAC is more than a gym! It truly is a community space and you really get way more than you pay for!

The staff is also incredibly accommodating.

I love it here !

Great gym! Clean equipment, friendly staff, great membership options and variety of machines.
Where to even start. This gym is amazing !

4 floors of non-stop lifting and cardio equipment. And not to mention the 4th floor is a roof top🤯

As far as the staff. They were so helpful and nice. Susan even gave us great recommendation on places to go and food to eat around the area.
Best kept secret for New Orleans residents. Has become a treasured “third place” for me outside of home and work… a place to go with so many amenities and community, centered in health and wellness. Love NOAC, hope to stay a member for years and years to come!!
Really enjoyed my drop in experience here. Good group of encouraging people and nice gym.

This gym is owned by predatory owners who are sending customers to collections fraudulently! Do not, under any circumstances, consider doing business with them. Please read my testimony below
-
On August 23, 2023, I visited Anytime Fitness to inquire about their membership plans. In the contracting manager's office (Anthony Fortier-Bensen), I was informed of a student discount, which offered 50% off the monthly fee with a $50 initial deposit. This information was provided to me on a paper contract, displaying the contract terms (6-month, 12-month, and 24-month) with their regular monthly fees and the discounted student rates. I chose the 2-year plan, which was listed at $44/month plus tax, with the student discounted rate of $22/month beside it. I opted for this contract term primarily because of the substantial discount. I initialed the paper next to my selected plan and signed the bottom of the agreement.

Subsequently, I was presented with an iPad to fill in my personal details. The manager informed me that I needed to sign up at the full rate on the iPad because their system couldn't adjust to the student rate immediately; however, it would be retroactively adjusted during billing. To confirm, I posed clarifying questions, ensuring I understood the monthly billing would indeed be $22, and received assurances confirming this.

After receiving my key fob, granting me gym access, I began using their services. To my dismay, one month later, the amount debited from my account was the full $44 plus tax, as per the electronic contract. I reached out via email, only to be informed there were no $22/month plans and that I must've been mistaken.

On September 21, 2023, I visited the gym and spoke to the contracting manager. He expressed surprise, insisting I was mistaken about the amount and claimed to have no memory of our prior conversation. I requested the paper contract I had signed initially, but he presented an assortment of unfamiliar forms, none being the one I had initialed and signed. They asserted no other forms existed and claimed they had never offered a plan for $22/month. Instead, they said the offer was to halve the initial deposit, which I hadn't received a credit for either. They agreed to credit this amount upon my request but expected me to honor the 2-year contract at $44/month plus tax. When I sought to cancel, given the discrepancy in the agreed amount, I was advised to return another day to "see what could be done." Frustrated, I left the key fob in their mailbox, which the contracting manager collected.

On October 23, 2023, I received an email from Jolie Bensen warning that if I defaulted on my 2-year contract, the full amount, totaling $1,074.00, would be sent to collections. In my subsequent email response, where I detailed the entire situation, they again denied ever offering the $22/month rate and expressed no intention of annulling the contract. They reiterated that the full amount would go to collections in 30 days. To add insult to injury, Jolie signed the email "Good Luck!" in response to my statement about seeking legal representation to clarify the matter.

After reading multiple reviews of them doing this to others, I am comforted to know I am not alone and simultaneously disgusted with this level of fraudulent behavior from people who claim to be "proud of their small business". Know your rights and do your due diligence.

It's smaller than some other Anytime's I've been to. Equipment is a bit old and worn-out. Women's restroom was not clean.
I have been with Iron Tribe NOLA for 8 years. 1 year as a coach and 7 as an athlete. Having been an employee and, I know first hand how much Iron Tribe invests in its coaches, so that they can deliver a first class experience to its athletes. I also love that the people I work out who were once strangers, I now consider family.
The team is wonderful. They are always inspiring and encouraging you to keep pushing. And they often workout during my time slots which is encouraging (and humbling Haha!). Coby, Melinda and Paige all kill it. As a former athlete, there’s a competitive edge to the workouts too that helps push you harder. And the workouts optimize the 45 minute window which works well for family and work life. Glad my wife signed me up.

Many types of cardio machines. Benches are never full. Lots of dumbbells. Friendly and helpful staff which includes owner on site!!
Overall solid gym. Replaced a couple machines lately which is nice. Even during peak hours (4-6pm) it is not too packed. Good value overall.
I own an outpatient physical therapy office across the street from The Parks, and they have been great about working with my patients after their discharge from physical therapy to continue their progress. Chris in particular is always willing to work with my patients to make sure they can make an easy transition from PT to the gym. Great place, great people. Highly recommend.

Incredible workouts! Supportive and friendly staff! Been going here for years and will continue to do so for a great workout in Nola!
Staff at this location are incredibly rude. Came in this afternoon at 4:45 to grab a quick shower before our next appointment. RAY decided he "didn't want to risk staying open past 5" and tried to refuse entry. We just wanted a towel to rinse off quickly. RAY then tried to tell us we were required to work out if we wanted to use the shower. Excuse me? Show me where it says in the membership agreement we're required to work out to use the facilities. If I want to go in and stretch out or sit in the sauna for a few minutes, as paying members, we're within our rights to do this. RAY was on a major power trip and tried to refuse entry just because he felt lazy. If this was a white manager refusing entry to a black kid, it would be front page news and this gym would be sued into bankruptcy. It is illegal to refuse entry to a paying member while you're still open. I have always been polite, clean, and never created an extra minute of work for anyone at this gym. Hostile staff like RAY who are on a power trip should find another job rather than hassling customers, otherwise, you will wind up in court.
Love this gym!! Chris and David are the best! Always attentive when anything needs to be addressed. Rose always keeps the gym clean for us. Highly recommend The Parks!!
Best gym ever! I’ve been a member for 2 years and I love the weekly group exercise classes that are taught by expert instructors. The hot sauna is great to use before or after a workout. There is also a huge variety of equipment, machines, and rooms to use.

The staff members are professional and friendly. The manager David is helpful and always available to answer any questions I have. The facilities are kept super clean. I highly recommend this gym!
Great gym! Friendly and knowledgeable staff and open 24/7 to members. All equipment is up to date and the bathrooms are very clean and have showers for after your workout. Highly recommend! 💪
Besides this place being an outdated dive. Even if you are not under contract they will not let you quit and keep charging you. Every time I call, I am told I will get a link right after the conversation that will direct me to quit. However, this link never comes through leading to more and more phone calls. Terrible establishment, terribly ran.

Pretty good gym, nice lighting. Small space with decent equipment variety, have to use a key card to get in the building. Cant speak for membership prices but *day passes are $25* not $15 per website. You will have to venmo a Kurt Weiser if no one is working in the building; have to text a random number taped to the door, Kurt will tell you where the key card is and the venmo - sketchy and not very professional.

I've been a member of SimplyFit Gym for about ten months now and it's been such a positive experience from day one. The owners, Hudson and Billy, are there often training people and they are always incredibly friendly and welcoming. Whether you need guidance on your form, advice on different workouts to try, or just a boost of motivation - they're there to help. Their passion for fitness shows and they help to create a motivating and inclusive atmosphere.

The gym itself is always clean. There are fresh towels always available and the women's locker room is spotless and well-stocked with toiletries. SimplyFit has a variety of machines that are well-maintained and they cater to all fitness levels. I never feel like I have to wait for a machine to open up either. It's also open 24/7, which is super helpful for my busy work schedule.

If you're looking for a gym with approachable owners, a clean environment, well-kept machines, and round-the-clock access, Simply Fit is the place to be. It's been a game-changer for my fitness journey!

Such a lovely family owned gym! It has everything you would need and is never too crowded. The owner, Hudson, is incredibly helpful and nice. He really makes it a non-intimidating environment as gyms can sometimes be. Super easy to sign up online and the rates are the most reasonable in the area. Also has month to month membership which is super helpful if you’re not in the area for that long. The women’s locker room even has free toiletries which I always appreciate. Very happy I found this gem!

Small, local gym, offer one month memberships without renewal which is a bonus for those who frequently travel. Never crowded.
Loved my experience here at this gym. However, I've had the worst experience with the managing company. I am forced to relocate across the country and the company won't cancel my gym membership. Due to circumstances out of my control, I am still expected to pay for a membership I won't be able to use. They're expecting me to pay until the end of the year, despite not having a gym at my new location. I was told by the gym staff to call the customer service number, in which they told me that the gym staff didn't want to tell me in person that there wasn't a cancellation policy. This felt disrespectful. I don't recommend this place at all.
The coaches of Iron Tribe NOLA are knowledgeable, encouraging, and involved to help everyone improve on movements and to accomplish other goals. It’s a friendly community as well, with everyone pulling for one another. I genuinely enjoy going to work out every day.
The club is clean and well equipped. One of the four AC units has been out of service for 2 months with no idea when it will be repaired. I ask the manager David "when the AC would be repaired" he responded with a caustic response "that it's a Parks problem". His caustic response, as the manager of the Parks, was enough for me to walk away and end the conversation. I have been a member for over 2 years and have never been treated with such disrespect by a manager of a health club.

Was looking for a new gym in the area so I contacted the owner .. Asked if I could have a one time pass to come try out his gym at 6:45 pm , never got a response so I came in the next morning to speak in person but no one was there so a member opened the door for me thinking he was possibly management .. owner came in an hour late then waited for me by the door outside till I was finished my workout , then decided to txt me and tell me that it was 25 for a day pass ! Very bad service especially if you’re trying to bring new people into your gym . Also when he walked in he didn’t acknowledge me at all , very poor service ! I was serious about joining but now I wouldn’t recommend anyone come sign up here ! I refused to give him the whole 25$ then he said he would meet me in the middle and take 5$ off haha , outdated equipment also ! I recommend driving a few minutes down magazine and joining Franco’s ! For the same price you get all brand new equipment and way better service ! Also , they offer a free one day pass to try their facility out .
Absolutely the best gym ever the equipment is very sophisticated. The gym it’s super clean. Staff is accommodating highly recommended!!
I’ve been an on again/ off again member at this location since about 2008. Recently joined again in 2023 after moving back to NOLA, and was pretty disappointed to see it looks exactly the same, just significantly more worn down. Definitely feels outdated and unclean.

And I’ve noticed the weird smell that other reviews have mentioned. It’s very off putting.

Staff has been fine from what I’ve seen, but there’s little they can do to counteract the fact that this location is in desperate need of an overhaul.
Great gym for folks visiting New Orleans, came here a few times during a work trip. Passes are affordable, there are plenty of lockers, and the space is well maintained and clean.
Nope. No Variety. Hahaha and I LOVE Everyone’s Review! ESPECIALLY Mr. Nguyen! Brilliant! Even the Owner Admits there Trash! Equipment. Bench press is a Death Trap. Lacks Basic incremental weights. Lacking it All! ONE stationary Bicycle with back rest. ONE. Like that’s my Jam. I just Can’t. Place is Incompetent to Customer Service.
Worked out here twice while in town for a few days. The Parks is a clean and well kept gym with adequate free weights and plenty of machines, treadmills, staircases, etc.

I particularly appreciated the ample amount of TRX/pull up bar combos that enabled me to keep to my scheduled workout.

I will return here repeatedly whenever I'm in town.
Iron tribe is where it’s at. Group fitness workouts with all levels of experience and fitness. The coaches are knowledgeable and care about your fitness and body goals, and they make you feel like you belong. Definitely give it a shot
While there are a lot of machines, they're petty spread out. Expect to cater your workout to the layout of this mansion. Otherwise you'll be walking up and down stairs a lot between exercises.

Machines are really good although they don't seem to be lubricated or waxed. I've seen cheaper gyms around the country add that nice touch and at $90 a month, I'd hope for equipment that's slightly better taken care of.

It has a bunch of amenities which can be really useful.
Nice owners, the only thing is that if you are highly sensitive, this may not be your gym. There are 4 speakers at a very high volume competing with one another in a small space.

The workouts are nice, you watch the screen for your set just like youtube's fitness blender and the (coach?) will perform it for you as you watch on the screen.

I think it is a very easy concept of circut training and challenging which was great just did not get a community feeling there and left because of the language and volume of the music (it sent me to panic, when asked to lower it was half a notch). Again, super nice concept but hard if you experience a diversity in sensory perceptions.

Brilliant place to workout! Large variety of equipment, open 24/7, and overall clean and well-maintained facility + friendly staff and members! Conveniently located next to the St. Charles streetcar route so you can hit it before or after work if you’re along that route! Thankful for the experience!
I’ve really enjoyed working out at F45 in the CBD. The coaches have been wonderful — providing feedback and guidance but also leaving room for autonomy and modifications. The gym is always clean and well-kept. The staff has been helpful and kind in all of my interactions.

I'm bad about names, but the staff was very helpful & accommodating. I wasn't expecting to be here long enough to get a 2nd workout in, but here I am. I LOVE the old school Nautilus pullover machine, maybe it's nostalgia, maybe it's that I'm super close to being able to do the entire stack, either way, it's one of the most underrated & effective back exercises. I'm trying to start doing a different workout style with High Intensity Training, Mike Mentzer Rest Pause approach, & it requires assistance from either a training partner, friendly gym goer, or staff.

Staff & a friendly gym goer hooked me up today so I could hit the negative repetitions on the pullover machine. The gym is clean, it has everything you would need to get a good workout in. They also took care of me with a reduced rate as a veteran, that's always appreciated, especially with our current economy.

Good to have options for when I come to town, glad I shopped around to find a spot close to everything with good folks working & working out there!
Great facility and really nice staff. Came in for a workout while visiting New Orleans. Gym was clean and well managed, everyone super respectful and kind. Definitely recommend if you’re in New Orleans.
I spoke to Rose at the front desk to inquire about a day pass. Rose was incredible she showed me around the gym and had incredible communication skills. I told Rose i just opened my own business as a Life Coach. She asked about my business and thought it would be great for me to have a booth in their lobby to talk about my services related to food sensitivities and healthy eating. I enjoyed my workout the 1st day. As I was leaving Rose invited me to work out the next day as well to really get a feel for the gym. I received a text from the Chris who said if I was interested in a membership to give him a call. The following day I worked out and loved they have a Jacob's ladder which is ergonomically correct they also have the stair machine however it hurts my knees due to the incorrect positioning of the body on the machine. I also loved the arch running machine. I was disappointed they did not have monkey bars and also disappointed they had a bucket in the middle of the gym and some equipment was damaged like the strap of the bike. I went upfront to speak with Chris about a membership when another gentleman said he would speak to me. I told him i had started my own Life Coaching business. I asked questions which he replied We don't do that here. He was inflexible. I didn't want to have to deal with his personality so I am looking elsewhere. He really lacks skills...
Awesome community, friendly and open members that create a welcoming and encouraging environment! New owner Cassie is doing a great job! The workouts are varied, interesting, and challenging, of course, in F45 manner.
Left this gym due to constant pestering to do a “fitness consultation” with them. Emails, texts, calls and even approaching me during my workouts to do one. One woman (I think the owner/manager?) was straight up abhorrent about it.

She told me she wanted to be sure I was reaching my goals. Apparently to her, I wasn’t showing enough improvement after coming in regularly for months. I mean, I wasn’t losing weight, so I guess she gave herself permission to comment on my body that was evidently not improving. I'm assuming she meant because I wasn't losing weight.

I’m disabled. It might shock some people to know that not everyone is exercising to lose weight/have an acceptable looking body. Exercising regularly IS my goal. Apparently that’s not good enough for her or this was some weird manipulation to try and up-sell me something. It felt like an attempt to body shame me into buying something.

Disabled folks are accustom to some level of able-ism everywhere, but I can’t imagine anyone in the world wanting to be sold something while they’re working out. And then again via email, text and phone. And then feeling like someone is watching you in the gym to "make sure you're progressing".

Super gross and invasive. I joined a gym, not hired someone to nag and shame me. It’s vulnerable enough being in the gym. Just leave me alone.

It was bizarre, off-putting and I feel much safer and better going to the Canal St and Bywater locations. I go in, workout, and leave. Seems simple, right?

I’m leaving this review as anonymously as possible because I wouldn’t be surprised if this lady tried to reach out AGAIN about the consultation or to get me to amend this review.
Mid, I’d like to say I’m a connoisseur of anytime fitness gyms as I have been to quite a few across these 50 United States. This one was a hard no after a few attempts at a good leg pump tonight. Most of the equipment Is dilapidated and archaic especially the leg machines and squat racks. The water from the fountain tasted like ethanol but I’ll put that blame on the city. The low ceilings gave me a a fight club vibe and I will say the lighting was pretty good but the full body mirror in the male shower has horrible lighting preventing me from mirin my non-existent leg pump. The poster board which is intended to be plastered with motivating quotes and local business ads was empty, do better.
I've been working out for 20 years. This is the most fun and impactful workouts I've ever done.

I had a checklist when searching for a new gym and Simply Fit met all of my boxes. They have 24 hour access, a variety of equipment, easy access to parking, showers, and most of all a great vibe. I was able to sign up on pay for my access on the website. They sent me an app to download that works as my key to get in after hours. The staff and patrons are extremely kind as well as respectful. I look forward to a long term relationship with this establishment.
I have been a member here for three years and love this gym. I had never done barbell lifting before I joined, and it’s been great to learn and improve in a really encouraging environment. My regular class is full of fun people that I am excited to see each day, and we are all happy to celebrate each other’s achievements. The coaches are always helpful and friendly to everyone, regardless of ability, age, or skill level. I feel very lucky to have found Iron Tribe—it is exactly the kind of place that appeals to me!
Love the space, music and equipment. Definitely not an intimidating place. They validate parking for a cheaper rate. Dana and Paul at the front desk are very nice. And I bought a t-shirt today and the material is phenomenal!
As you can see members and guests are getting in a workout on Fridaynight Feb 4th 2022 ⚜️💪🏋️- Has everything you need to work out.
The coaches at F45 Nola CBD have been great! They are very knowledgeable & keep you motivated. While in class they pump you up to get the reps in till the end of each set. Not only are they professional but also a very fun team. They make you feel welcomed and comfortable no matter where your fitness level is. It’s easier to get through a tough workout having fun and laughing along the way. Enjoying the workout surely motivates me to keep coming back & the results of course. I highly recommend you to check out a class & I promise you won’t be disappointed!
F45-CBD is the best thing to come out of 2020! I’ve been a member since July and my body has completely transformed. I’ve lost weight, gotten stronger, and increased my stamina tremendously. The workouts are always different and challenging, and you can adjust each exercise to your own abilities. The gym is always kept clean and cleaning is prioritized throughout the workouts. The trainers/owners, Alissia & Bryant, are absolutely incredible! They are motivating, professional, helpful, & welcoming! They take the time to get to know the members’ individual goals & needs and will help modify your workouts accordingly. I love this place and have nothing but good things to say!
Best workout in New Orleans! I have tried all the gyms and studios in NOLA and F45 HIIT classes and the facility’s are the best (and cleanest). All the members are super positive and the energy is great. Bryant & Alissia are the owners + trainers and they are so knowledgeable and encouraging. F45 is worth every penny! 💪🏼
I’ve never liked working out until I walked into F45(CBD location) July 2020 and was warmly welcomed by the owners, Bryant & Alissia. I was so nervous and intimidated because I was severely out of shape and over weight but they encouraged me every step of the way. Although we were in the middle of a horrible pandemic and I had major concerns regarding cleanliness of gyms, I was quickly impressed on how everything (equipment) was sanitized and social distancing guidelines were in place. I’ve now been a active member for about 3 months and I go at least 4x’s a week! That’s a major accomplishment for me. I just love the community, challenging exercises, and knowledgeable trainers. Life changing decision joining F45 and I’m so happy to continue on this fitness journey . Thank you Bryant & Alissia!!!
Got a few day passes during our stay for Mardi Gras. The gym and it’s owner Kurt are awesome. Definitely recommended!
From what I can tell, This is an older location, but still one of the better locations in NOLA. The equipment is nautilus, which is older but different from other locations. They do have alot of precor cardio equipment and glute machine. They have multiple sets of dumbells and kettlebells. In terms of square footage its also a larger location then others. Its also at an easy to find location in NoLa at Tobert E Lee and west end.

This anytime is smaller then some of the others in New Orleans. If its not too crowded, then Its ok. it also has tanning beds. The gym has full service cardio equipment and a good number of nautilus machines. They have cages with bumber plates for olympic lifts. its good for a smaller number of people . the dumbells 9nly go to 100, so your pressing options will be limited. otherwise good
Great challenging classes, knowledgeable coaches. Jay has years of experience. He bring a lot of his knowledge and experience to provide active and productive practices. Each class is pre-planned and he dives into the work without wasting a second. At the end you'll feel accomplished. He modifies the moves to suit your needs and abilities. Souvy also is a great coach with a lot of attention to the details. He rolls with the class. Pays attention to the response of the class to each move and modifies the move if necessary to fit the class and prevent any injury. His boxing cardio class is awesome. You won't believe how much calories you have burned after the class.
The environment is so friendly. Nobody expects you to be a pro. You can be a newbie and start here without feeling embarrassed.
First, I being in the service, and the day filling Veteranbs’ day, asked for a discount. No! I was charged $16 for my entrance... Then, the owner was rude to a Latino family and perspective customers; because, they had children, stating “I will call security.” Then, the machines are from 1980’s, a few not denoting the weights of each plate. One pin came off in my hand; whereas, the owner jokingly stated, “ you broke it...” I promptly mentioned the apoxy remaining on the previously broken pin. The establishment is a dated cash cow for the hotels in the area. It’s most marketable attribute is it provides day passes, and many of its competition does not. When I said I would be posting this reference, the owner demanded I leave immediately. He did give me a refund.

this may be a small studio in size and it can get packed at some classes, but the workouts rock...super motivated krewe, great coaches and sweat crushing routines...from the TRX Circuits to the METCONS and some 20/20/20 you cant go wrong....I tell everyone to go try it.
The studio is small, clean, and the size keeps the class capacity low as well, which I like. They have a variety of classes and class times. I can go every day and do something different. The owner, J, is very nice and makes a point to speak with the members when they are in for class. I’ve tried other studios in the area and I like this one the best!

Uptown Fitness is a great gym. They were super chill about the membership end of things and handled signing up/cancelling when I left town perfectly and with no hassle. The gym itself is clean and has enough weights and machines to do a really great workout. It also has enough free space to move around, do a pushup, etc, and isn't just crammed full of machines. Everyone I met there is very friendly and made me feel comfortable even as I was learning how to do the basics. I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone staying uptown.

I love UF. The trainers and staff really know their stuff when it comes to working out and make the gym a really welcoming place. They give it that extra bit of effort that I feel like can really set small businesses apart. I liked it when I was able to get a quick day pass when I visited New Orleans, and then got the full membership when I moved here! I would definitely recommend it if you live here or are even just in town for a few days.
Small, family-owned gym that proves you don't have to be a huge chain in a massive warehouse to to get a complete, varied workout. The main workout floor is not large, but it had a full array of cardio equipment, from bikes to elliptical machines, varied weight machines and a large free weight area. Clean, quiet, 24 hour access. Locker rooms/shower areas have full amenities, and are very clean. Rates are extremely reasonable, no hard sell, easy to join.

Freestyle Friday was an awesome workout!! The instructor was fantastic and he paid special attention to me because he knew that it was my first time at Zone FitNola. He also asked me when I arrived what my current exercise level was. Therefore, he also knew that this was my first time getting back into any sort ofexercise in over a year and a half. He checked on me regularly throughout the circuit, providing extra explanation and modifications when necessary. I was verynervous that I would feel out of place during this workout, but on the contrary, I felt totally comfortable. The workout in itself was fun, challenging, andfilled with variety. I will definitely be back for this class and to try others! Another awesome perk - they did a complimentary full body scan using Fit3D which took only a few minutes and sent me an in depth report of my individual body shape, body composition, and fitness level. So cool and helpful!!!

Love working out with J! The studio is clean, and easy to get to. The workout style improves your fitness level and really pushes you, but accommodations can always be made. Definitely recommend going a couple of times to get a feel for it.

I love this gym! It’s 24/7 access, always clean, and has great pricing options. It’s in a well-lit area of Prytania, which makes me feel safe when I’m walking there late at night. I’d highly recommend it for anyone, especially women who don’t want to workout/run outside at night. I am there alone occasionally, but always feel secure even without a desk attendant because the door auto-locks and the other patrons are respectful from my experiences.

What a great gym! Friendly staff and neighborhood atmosphere. Great for all ages. I am both a member and a personal training client. Never overcrowded and always fun!
I took advantage of the month-to-month membership while I was working a summer job in town. The trainers are super friendly, the gym is always clean, and its not overly crowded like the larger places. I’d definitely recommend if.

LOVE the gym! As the manager, everyone has different needs so not everyone will be happy with everything a gym has to offer. We are proud to be the ONLY 24 hour gym uptown, with over 20 cardio machines, a new glutes machines, TRX and a boxing room...... hope you'll enjoy it too!

Uptown Fitness is the best little gym in NOLA ( well not that small- actually large for most NOLA gyms and this is someone who is used to working out at Equinox). The new management has made many improvements and is truly engaged with their gym family. The gym regulars are super chill folks who are there to work out and friendly enough to say hello between sets. Clean facility, great staff and trainers. They went out of their way to make sure I had some special equipment to train with. Great locale which is close to CVS, Zara's and restaurants for a post work out nosh or to run errands. 2 thumbs up!
Most special, spacious, relaxing, wide-ranging, and clean athletic club we ever joined. We used to live in NYC before and got to know a bunch of gyms / clubs. Alas, this is the best one of all.
Four floors of everything anyone could ask, even an indoor running track, a marble pool, squash courts, boxing rink, and a ballroom.
Five complete stars -- a real body & mind gem 👑

This hands down is my favorite gym in all of uptown New Orleans. It always is clean and they have everything anyone would need to work out without having to fight the crowds of a meat market gym. Make sure you ask for Danny when visiting, he always is more than willing to help you.

Uptown Fitness is the place to work out if you live in Uptown! The new management has gone above and beyond to make improvements for every workout routine. One thing that makes Uptown fitness unique is the number of trainers they have available for private workouts. The general manger of Uptown Fitness, Danny, was really thoughtful and super helpful with any questions I had. Make sure to stop by for a visit if your in the neighborhood!

Love the spin class but very inconvenient when we can’t get into the studio and class starts late. Not sure why someone can’t be at the front desk when the key fob system doesn’t work!
Under new ownership. Car jacking in the parking Lot recently. Very limited equipment, my wife hates how it smells. I could list dozens of problems, however it’s open 24 hr and 3 min from my house.
The Canal St location is super nice. Today they built this strange “outhouse looking” room in the middle of the free weight area. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️😢🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️ The local lady’s who run the gym day to day are very nice, but they have limited resources from the higher up’s.

I never thought of working out as being fun before until I joined the NOAC. The staff is real friendly and all the members are cool. They have these free classes like Zumba and Belly Dance where you dance to music the entire time. I am usually embarrassed by my terrible dancing skills, but Claudia makes me feel great about myself. Wendall has been helping me lose weight with his afternoon Cardio classes with weights. Jose taught me how to finally throw a decent right hook. I have never been to a gym where you can get on the internet and charge your phone while working out on cardio equipment. Better yet, there is a room with treadmills where you can also play backgammon.
