Super fun place. We did a birthday event and the coach’s were so supportive!
This gym and Brooklyn Ninja Academy (same owner) are extraordinary. We've always had amazing experiences here. The coaches are fun, friendly and really know their stuff. The owner goes above and beyond to make sure competitions and training run smoothly and fair and truly cares about this newer sport and it's future. Highly recommend this business and we only wish we lived a little closer to take my son to train here more often!
Stayed at this hotel with my husband and daughter over Christmas. Cannot fault anything about the hotel it was clean rooms were fantastic. Breakfast was great and set you up for the day. Had a beautiful room on the 31st floor and didn’t have long to wait on lifts.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely return
Amazing place to stay. My family loved to be so close of everything. As Brazilian we loved the hotel and we enjoyed to walk around. The hotel is so close of everything. They have the best service ever and the staff is very professional. I truly recommend. Two thumbs up!
Perfect location just a few minutes walk right off Times Square. Nicely appointed hotel. Highly recommend booking a rate that includes breakfast. Room was very well laid out, loved the sofa bed that cleverly flipped out without having to remove cushions. First hotel the 5 of us have stayed in that didn’t require calling for extra towels (yay!).

We only had 2 negatives, and they are very minor and we will definitely stay here again on any future NYC trip:
1. Wish the counter service “restaurant” had a few more food options like burgers. After a long day sightseeing, all we wanted to do was stay in for the evening. There is no sit-down restaurant besides breakfast.
2. The room key powers all the outlets. Even if you leave it inserted when you leave, the maid removes it during cleaning. So we could not charge any devices while we were out for the day (dead laptops, iPads).

Other than that, it was a wonderful stay. All employees were extremely kind and friendly with great attitudes. Bellhop for luggage service was great and so quick with both storage at arrival and retrieval the day of arrival as we came in on an early flight.
Loved the hotel location, turn right out of the hotel and you are at time square at the end of the block. Hotel staff was very friendly and help with any needs needing meet. Also the cafe down stairs had just enough stuff to eat if you didn’t want to leave the hotel. Beds and shower were great! Would definitely stay again.
Wonderful location, just steps from Time Square! A few blocks away from several Broadway shows. Clean rooms with attentive staff if you need an extra pillow or more towels. Our included breakfast was a full buffet and very organized. Late check out available for a fee, but luggage story is complimentary in case you want to explore a little more before a late flight or train.
Everything was fantastic and the location was awesome. The only problem I had was with the bartender I think he was the manager. I ordered a couple drinks to take to my room. He gave me a hard time about wanting a glass not a plastic cup. He said no glass in the rooms but I watched people going to the rooms with glasses. I had already had one drink in my room and I brought the glass back. He was a jerk followed me to the elevator and demanded the glasses. I was so uncomfortable we had such a great weekend and he was the only down fall.
This was our first trip to NYC and this hotel is perfect. The staff at the hotel are absolutely brilliant, always have a smile and happy to help. We had breakfast included in our booking which is managed so well. Never long to wait, food selection is great and tasted great too - I also have an egg allergy and the chef came out to explain what I can and can’t eat.
The hotel is situated perfectly near to transport and to Times Square.
The room was perfect for the two of us although if we were a family would feel a little cramped. Bed super comfy and I never sleep well in hotels generally so no complaints there, fridge worked, plenty of storage and shower was great.
From start to finish this hotel was amazing. Wonderful location right by Times Square red steps. Considering the location, rooms were lovely and quiet and the beds are fabulous, just what you need to sink into after a long day. Rooms were cleaned every day and towels replaced. Breakfast was delicious and even though we went at peak times the queue went down very quickly, the hotel had their breakfast system working immaculately with great communication. Breakfast was a great start to the day. The reception team were very friendly and assisted when they could. I will definitely return here for my next visit to NYC 🥰
We have been coming here for over a year and my daughter LOVES it! She has built so much strength and confidence and can't wait to come every week.
The location, atmosphere, and energy appeals to me. Everyone appears focus on their exercises, routines, and the results of their
progress, i.e., the pump or overall physique.
Plus, the Winter Village Festival is dope!
Physical Equilibrium is my go to for a great workout! Lift Club is the perfect environment for small group training. Sara, Zach and all of the instructor focus on form while pushing me to get the most I can out of the work out. The work outs are customized depending on my weaknesses, what areas I would like to focus on and taking my current ailments into account. After about a year of training, I feel stronger than I ever have. Can not say enough about how great the team at PE is!
Have worked with Sara at PhysEq for a few years now and she has helped me achieve many different goals: Boston Qualifier, the Boston Marathon, my first two 70.3 Ironman, my first 140.6 Ironman and the New York City Marathon. These were all huge milestones for me and I believe Sara gave me the tools I needed to level up in distance running and endurance sports. Along with the training plans, she’s very responsive via text or phone with any questions I have regarding training. Through PhysEq I was connected with a great endurance dietician (Clare) and a great PT (Marisa).
Staff is welcoming and gym is clean with great layout.
*Bring your own towel or rent one.
In this gym on Friday, November 3, while I was training, they robbed in the bathrooms. I was one of those affected, they broke my lock and opened my backpack. They took out my cash, which was an important amount for me. All this happened while we were training and no one could realize what was happening, today I go to the gym to know how it was going to be solved and they simply tell me that the case is still in the police which is fine and that they would not be responsible for what happened to me since it was cash and that I simply lost it that I could not trust the gym to have my things and that way it changed it could happen to me again and no one and no one can do anything the Response from the gym manager.

Absolutely dope gym, loved everything about It. Full of equipments for Crossfit/strenght training. Lockers room are great and super clean. Towels, shavette and lockers with code are provided. Recommend!
I have had a great experience taking Pilates at PE with Amelia Bonvento. She is an excellent teacher with obvious understanding of Pilates and how it can be used as a tool to improve both flexibility and strength. Amelia thoughtfully plans each session so that the exercises build on the last session but are always innovative and never repetitive. Each week I feel like I am making progress in my routine and also challenging myself while enjoying the workout which is an ideal combination!
In addition, the PE facilities are friendly, well run, and extremely clean which is very appreciated.
Physical Equilibrium has top notch trainers in a well designed, pleasant and clean environment in Midtown. Boutique feeling with personal attention. They are centrally located but if you prefer, they also do house calls. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a personalized, results-driven approach.
I could not be more grateful to Dean Geller as a personal trainer! I started working with Dean as a post-rehab trainer, coming out of PT after my 2nd shoulder surgery. He has done an incredible job keeping me on track, progressing safely and at exactly the right pace for me. He thoughtfully plans each session, but is quick to adapt and truly tuned into what’s best in the moment. I always look forward to our sessions, and it feels amazing to be getting so strong in a safe, fun and sustainable way. I would highly recommend Dean for personal training.
Physical Equilibrium has been great for my physical and mental health. Through training with Zach M I have been able to strengthen my entire body and can feel the results every day! Zach challenges me during personal training workouts to push my boundaries while still maintaining safe bodily metrics. Thanks for making me feel so good!
I've been strength training with Sara Dimmick, co-owner of Physical Equilibrium, for more than five years and it is a wonderful facility with fantastic instructors and equipment. I love it's small size ... definitely not a gym factory! Sara has over twenty years of experience and trains all types of athletes, in particular triathletes and marathoners. I'm an endurance cyclist and given my long hours on the bike, strength training is key to having a strong core for stability and of course lower and upper body strength to tackle the miles and the climbs. Sara also works extensively with clients with injury rehabilitation. The gym has a wonderful sunlit Pilates and yoga studio as well and private rooms for massage. I highly recommend Physical Equilibrium for its personalized service and extremely talented trainers!
I love PE! Zach creates workouts that challenge me but are still manageable. He pushes me to try my hardest while emphasizing safety and injury prevention (so important for runners!). I have better upper body and core strength now. And I’ve been intimidated by Pilates in the past, but Amelia makes it accessible and fun! My posture has improved. I always leave PE feeling energized and excited and just the right amount of muscle soreness.
Be careful ladies letting your man go to this particular gym there is various female employees trying and have slept with your husband including blinks female manager she's sleeping with a married man with multiple kids and seeing him on the property of her job. Have fun with that yeast infection.
I use several Blink locations. While not perfect I find them consistently clean, with friendly members and staff. My main objection is the crowding, I might have to wait for my equipment. Sometimes equipment is broken and not fixed for a while. But, unlike other gyms, it is the culture here for members to wipe down their machine after use.
This is easily the most fraudulent gym I have ever been to. They are continuing to charge me even after I cancelled my membership and lie straight to my face at the front desk. Don't join this gym. Blink's hidden fees make it just as much as any other gym so might as well join the other better gyms anyways.
The results I achieved with UpFit Training Academy are like nothing else I have experienced. Covid really did a number on me but thanks to UpFit I lost 25 lbs in 3 months training 3 days a week! WHAT?! Best decision I ever made for my mental and physical well-being. I couldn’t have done it without the UpFit coaches and community. Love y’all UpFit fam!
My daughter has membership here. She took ill end of June. Long term hospitalization. So far I can NOT cancel this monthly payment. It's mid Sept now. There is no way to cancel online & we had to move my daughter out of state. Still waiting for "upper management" to respond to local manager requests. We do not need this added aggravation during our time of worry. Shame on Blink.

The pizza is excellent, and they have reasonable prices. What I really liked was they offered hot honey, which turned good pizza into magnificent! Friendly staff and the place was very clean.

Great class. All the coaches organize classes to push you but allow you to workout to your level. The workout space is not overcrowded and the environment makes you forget you’re actually running!

Solid place for what it is. Everything you need if traveling and want to get a WOD in or some Olympic lifts. Easy to navigate and $35 to drop in. They offer week passes and monthly passes also.
I hit a FitBod workout and had no issues. Purchased day pass day of and downloaded the app, got in with no problems. Highly recommend.

Had a priave lesson with darion for our 6 year old daughter. He was absolutely great. Kind, patient and fun. Highly recommend him.
Was staying in the neighborhood for a month. Went in at the end of July and explained the situation. They signed me up for the Gray plan and told me to cancel in August since it’s a monthly membership. Went to cancel and was told that there is in fact a cancellation fee. Even worse, my 2 days in July count as a full month so I now also owe the full facilities fee which kicks in on your second month. Staff was useless/helpless( but very polite). Typical gym membership scam.
After years of going to more than one Blink location (couldn't afford better), I can tell you it is pretty bad. I have had my things stolen multiple times, management never even tried to look like they cared. Cameras are non-existent. This place is like an open public square. If you are a big dude who knows how to growl the others in the gym out of your way, you'll feel at home.
Signed up with an excellent promo for one month that I’d be in the city. Charged me 45 days worth of full cost membership to cancel the monthly membership (which I did within the month before they tried to charge me automatically for the next month). Unbelievable.
My experience with UpFit over the past year has been life-changing! This program has proven to be the best investment I've made for my personal growth and well-being. The coaches take the time to understand my goals and tailor workout routines that have been instrumental in helping me achieve them. The strategy sessions have also helped me lead a healthier relationship with food. The entire community exudes positivity and support, creating a motivating environment that encourages me to give my best effort every time I attend a session. Thanks to the consistency and accountability provided by UpFit, I've not only lost weight and toned up significantly but also gained confidence and improved health. I highly recommend UpFit for anyone looking to transform their fitness journey!
I remember walking at 6 am in the morning on Thanksgiving day, I was on my way to Penn when I saw Wes teaching. I remember, I just knew I was walking on 30th St but I did not know the name of the gym. I googled it, wrote an email and right away on Monday I got an answer. The next week I was part of Upfit community and I haven’t stopped ever since.

THEFT IN THE LOCKER ROOM! My lock was broken and my wallet was stolen from inside the locker! I reached out to the manager, who said another THREE PEOPLE were stolen in the last hour and that there was nothing she could do!Avoid this gym at all costs if you dont want to be robbed!!!
They rob you. How?
In changing terms and fees of the cancellation.
When I started going there I understood that I have to go for a year and then nothing will be autorenewed. But I was wrong.

Not only I was charged for the 13th month, annual fee, but when I came to inquire I have to pay another 22$ to cancel.
It was June. I didn’t pay the first time. But when I came back same June the amount became 2,5 higher - 56$.

And when I was asked about the refund of annual fee I was told that they don’t do that!

So 150$ were waste to stop blink membership that is 35$ per month.

Not recommended! As they are NOT honest.
June 25, 2023 Sunday. The receptionist had no knowledge at all and he was very impatient, had an attitude like I owe him money. As a first time customer, I asked him how much for the membership. He told me to look at the iPad. I asked him why the iPad repeated "100+ locations" and "90+ locations". He was wiping coins?? Never looked at me (kept his head down) and said he didn't know. I asked him what green plan automatically converts to monthly agreement meant, he said he didn't know either. He told me it is how it is. (what? is this a literature exam or something? You want me to guess?)I left with confusion and I'm not going to join this gym which i actually decided to join earlier. When You don't even know the basic membership info, how can you deal with other gym issues??? Why are you paid to be here but the stupid iPad is doing your job?
It has been such a good experience joining UpFit. People are the heart of any business and i have only experienced kindness, cheerleading and a good measure of tough love from the coaches to keep me pushing through to get back on the exercise track. It’s a great atmosphere in the gym facilitated by obvious pros in the field of fitness .Worth signing up!
I experienced incredibly unprofessional service and damage to my personal property at this location tonight. The  manager Yami has incredibly poor communication skills a bad attitude and an unwillingess to diligently serve customers. After promising to wait 15 min after closing she cut my lock anyway and refused me entry to the gym.

After speaking to her personally on the phone and asking if they could wait 15 minutes after closing so I could get my things Yami agreed to wait.

I arrived at 10:09, knocked and called multiple times yet no one answered. I also called multiple locations to see if they could reach the gym.

After 30 minutes staff came up the stairs and I asked to get my things. Yami refused me entry saying that they had cut the lock and that I could not get them until the next day despite ensuring that they could stay open so I could retrieve my items, not answering the phone when I called multiple times, and not answering when I knocked on the door which can be seen from the security camera.

I would like to cancel my membership and receive a refund for the month in the amount of $40.00 a refund for the damaged lock $15 and compensation for the dishonesty and negligence of the management and customer service team at the Bryant Park New York Location.
I have been attending Upfit Training Academy for several months now and have been extremely pleased with the results I am getting. I feel my conditioning has greatly improved and that I have made great progress. All the coaches are excellent and very supportive. These personalized workouts were exactly what I was looking for and I am very happy I found this gym. I 100% recommend it to anyone who is seeking a healthier lifestyle. They really are the most people focused fitness company I have encountered.
Update: I really like it. Staff is great. If you workout regularly then it may be better to plan on going after 8 PM.

Original post:

Very clean and customer service is amazing. They have all machines but the number of machines is small compared to the number of customers, which is understandable because the space is limited too. You will end up waiting for 15 minutes until some other customer finishes their workout on a certain machine.

My suggestion: most of the cardio machines are not used. Reduce the cardio area and put more workout machines.

Everything else is perfect. Everyone who works here is truly amazing.
Wonderful place and I'm very happy we discovered it for our 8yo! Now he wants to come in early for his classes and then stays active and involved for the whole hour (parents know it's not very common for kids' gym classes). Coaches are super friendly and active, so we are looking forward to continue!
I am an independent trainer who does one on one, semi private and group work outs here. I also work out in the space and I have no complaints. Hayden, Brian and Kevin run a great space here!!
Best decision I ever made! Personalized workouts structured to achieve micro goals on a weekly basis leading to long term results. I’ve learned a whole new meaning to empowerment, accountability, and strength. For someone who never used to workout before joining UpFit, I’m now going 3x a week and loving every minute of it. Not only have I noticed a difference physically but also mentally and emotionally, which is worth every minute and dollar. It’s the best place to really understand the meaning of trusting and enjoying the process. I’m also making new friends, which is an added bonus to it all. I love the UpFit community.
I just finished taking the 7:30p “Adult” class. I think I was the only proper adult in the room apart from the instructor, but that was fine. The other three students were high school students. We started mostly on time and I got a brief run down of the rules. We did 10 laps as a warm-up; the area is roughly the size of a basketball court if I had to give you a mental model of the size of the space. After the jog we did a brief period of stretching then went into the Ninja training.

Within 1.5 hour, I was pretty able to sample most of the exercises; at least the ones I was capable of doing.  There wasn't any rigid structure and programming, and I got to hop in and out of the different obstacle courses. A lot of the exercises require a decent amount of upper body strength. If you aren't used to swing and hanging off things, then your grip strength will definitely be challenged. They also have a balanced based obstacle course if that is more your forte. They rotate parts of the obstacle course on the weekly basis, so there are always new challenges to try.

The instructor, Sebastian, was wonderful and very encouraging. My only regret is that I wish they had things like this when I was younger. I had so much fun, and I'm happy something like exist. They also had so much fun.

There is another location in Gowanus called Brooklyn Ninja Academy. Which might be more convenient for any Brooklynites. This one is a bit tough to get to if you're taking the train because it's all the way on 12 Avenue and 55th street, but the closest train is located on 59th and 8th Avenue.

Some recommendations that, I felt, could have the experience even better:

Provide locker rooms to change. The only place to change in privacy is the one unisex bathroom, which was clean, by the way.

A vending machine with drinks or water cooler would be great since this is a gym.

A courtesy email reminder sent out 24–72 hours before class is always a nice touch.

Overall, I would highly recommend trying this out. They make it look so easy on TV!
I’ve been training at UpFit for about 5 years now and have seen tremendous progress in my strength and conditioning! I love how helpful and knowledgeable all of the coaches are, as well as encouraging. Having them challenge me and remind me that fitness is about mental toughness and constantly pushing past your limits to get better. It’s a great place to start your fitness and wellness journey, refine it or elevate it!

I found my place of solace in New York City. I was visiting for a week and needed to find a gym that would allow me to train and do my own personalized program. I came across Solace NYC and I am so happy I gave this place a try. I've never been to a facility like Solace before and I wish it existed it more places. The staff are so nice and inviting and the facility has everything you could want or need (the members are super friendly and motivating too). It's a giant open training space so you can literally do any type of workout you could possibly want to. I needed a place where I could do Olympic weightlifting and it was absolutely perfect. If you don't have your own workout program, they also provide a weekly program you can follow as well I can't recommend this place enough. It may not have all the bells and whistles of a place like equinox but that's what makes Solace NYC so special. The space is elevated but you can really feel the spirit that it's all about the training and becoming the best version of yourself. 100/10 would recommend.

Quick and easy online registration process. I was in town and did a drop in. Everything is done digital with quick response time to get my passcode to enter. Facility was clean and perfect for powerlifters and cross fitters. Thank you for a great visit and workout. They also have a water filter machine as well.
Instructors are off the charts amazing. My daughter was nervous for her first class, within ten minutes they had her scaling ramps and jumping through hoops like a pro. We'll definitely be signing up for a semester.
Absolutely love this gym and the trainers. It is a safe space to train and everyone is incredibly supportive. You form relationships with the trainers, you get to know them and they get to know you, and they know exactly how to challenge you and support you in your journey. Joining UpFit was the best decision I have made. I have met wonderful people, have been challenged and have been loving every minute of it. I love it so much I have recommended it to a friend, who has also joined.

Not a member, but the hotel I was staying at across the street was offering access. Staff was friendly, offered me a tour which I always appreciate. Bathroom was something else! Fully equipped with anything you would need, including towels. I have a bad right foot, so standing for long periods of time is not my thing, but they just so happened to have cute lil stools to sit on by the mirrors and hair tools. The gym itself was fantastic and it wasn't crowded at all; everyone had ample space and room. Big fan.
THIS BLINK WAS NICE, A DECENT AMOUNT OF SPACE TO DO YOUR STRETCHING THE BLINK REPRESENTATIVE WERE VERY NICE, PEOPLE KEPT TO THEM SELVES, NO WAITING TO USE EQUIPMENT, RIGHT NEXT TO GRAND CENTRAL STATION, AND THE D, M,F, B AND 7 TRAINS ARE ALSO LOCATED CLOSE BY.. BUT THE BEST PART ABOUT IT WAS THE REPRESENTATIVES, VERY NICE, VERY PLEASANT, HELPFUL... THE BASICS TO ANY GREAT ESTABLISHMENT IS THEIR CREW... THANK YOU AUSTIN AND ABBIE
I’m not a very athletic person, but was gifted a private session with Coach Sean for my birthday and decided to give it a whirl. I was nervous and prepared to be embarrassed, but he walked me through every step and it wound up being super fun! I even hit the buzzer!! I’ve told all my friends to check it out, even if they aren’t interested because it’s something different. The gym itself is very clean and spacious, with lots of light. They have a wonderful ambiance with music playing and very friendly coaches. For my personal session, I was so happy to see so many kids lining up excitedly getting ready for their class which was after mine. This is a great place for kids and adults alike, which challenges you physically, but also mentally. They also opened a new location in Brooklyn that I would like to see and bring my friends who live in BK for our own class!

Love these classes! They have the perfect schedule before or after work to join classes.
Everything is effort based so you get to choose the speed, they just tell you what it should feel like.
Great diversity of coaches - don't like the music of one, or maybe the tempo they have the class running, find another coach! They've all got different styles of music, of running routines, nothing is the same.
Highly recommend!

My absolute favorite workout studio in all of NYC! The classes are amazing and high-energy, and each instructor has a different style of focusing on speed, intervals, hills. I specifically love having Ned or Raj as my instructor! They provide a lot of guidance and encouragement for runners of all different experience levels + great music.

I loved the classes so much, I ended up joining the Mile High Run Club’s marathon program to help me prepare for my first marathon and had a great experience. Tons of supportive coaches and mentorship during group runs and workouts.

Super fun virtual way to learn ballet as an adult. No judgment, challenging, but rewarding. Eliza is full of energy and kind. The choreography is beautiful with the selected music. Every month the dance sequence built on itself and it is so enjoyable to dance it.
I can't say enough great things about the Ballet Spot! Every class I have taken is challenging enough to be a great workout but so fun it doesn't feel like you are working out. The instructors are totally pro and take time to make sure your form is on point. It is as close to being in a studio as you can get. Jump in and take a cardio ballet class and you will be sweating or slow down a little with ballet breathe and flow. So, so great!

I have written positive comments before. I have been taking sculpt regularly with Quincy Hydock since the Pandemic began my motivation was to improve my balance and strength to apply to other activities. I have seen very positive results. I would encourage anyone interested in improving his or her fitness to try the class. As with all classes at the ballet spot no experience necessarily.
I took the live stream total body barre class with Eliza this morning. What a challenge. She is a very good teacher, gives instructions and demos very clearly. The class was structured very well. It put me through the paces I'd not been through for a while. My family was surprised when I praised the class! Thank you! I'm dying to know if her apartment is in Manhattan, the kitchen is a great kitchen.

As someone who took dance classes as a child, this is such a fun way to exercise! My instructor Deepa Liegel hit all the points. She broke down the combination throughout the class so we were warmed up and prepared to do the moves. The energy was upbeat and positive. There was enough challenge and personality in the piece, and she offered modifications so anyone could access it. As a bonus, she gave us background info on the style of ballet we were learning. I feel fortunate to take class at my level, from my apartment with such a talented instructor. I will be back!

Love these online ballet lessons! Just did my first ballet class in 25 years as part of a little group private lesson. Wearing socks. In my living room. Eliza is cheerful, encouraging, and a really lovely dancer. Great workout, completely affordable, inclusive of all levels, pandemic safe... Excited for next week already :)

The live online classes during this pandemic have been wonderful. I had not set foot inside a dance studio in 35 years, and at 62 I thought those days were behind me. The online Cardio Ballet classes are a great workout, while bringing me back to the world of dance in a fun, supportive, non-judgmental setting. The quality of teaching from these professional dancers is outstanding. The Ballet Spot has proven that it's never too late to be a dancer!

I spent my entire life being afraid of the water, and Coach Valentine’s classes have got me hopping into the deep end. I have taken swim classes at TONS of establishments in the city, and his is ... unequivocally THE BEST.
He is kind, patient, and to be truthful... the way he explains buoyancy .. will make swimming/floating/treading ...feel intuitive. After all, our bodies already know how to float ... and I learned that from him. Eternally grateful and the best money I have ever invested in myself and my own personal growth .

MHRC has been an amazing training tool for me! I've been running for 10+ years and have never been able to break past my average 9-ish minute pace. With MHRC, I've been pushed beyond my normal comfort zone, and have shaved :30+ seconds off my miles just from switching up my routine.

To note, all of the teachers have different styles of leading their programs as well as different music and attitudes, which makes for a great (never boring!) workout every time!

Attending regular Mile High classes was a great way for me to prepare for a half marathon! Both the 45 minute classes and 60 minute classes are great cardio workouts that you can tailor to your skill and to the level of intensity you're wanting for that day. The instructors are motivating and also offer great tips throughout the class to help focus on your form and build up your strength the right way. I would not consider myself a "runner" but have loved attending mile high classes!

I’m addicted to Mile High. Not only is it an amazing workout, I’ve seen a huge improvement in my race times & have been injury free since making MHRC a regular part of my routine. The instructors are all awesome, it’s nice to try a few different classes to find your favorites.
The women’s locker room has 4 showers and lots of mirror space for getting ready post class.

I miss living within walking distance of this studio. Mile High Run Club is an awesome treadmill class for new runners and seasoned pros. The coaches clearly care about their work (but not too much to where it feels like they're hovering in class). You can push yourself as hard or as little as you feel comfortable. There's no pressure, which is a great environment to learn in if you're new to running. You'll learn how to safely pace yourself and practice interval running. I came here a couple of times a week to prepare for my first 5K and it was a great experience!
The most unique, challenging, and addicting workout!!

Whether you're a seasoned runner or just starting out on the tread, MHRC is a super welcoming and energizing place. I've brought friends who walk in pegging themselves as 'not a runner,' and leave very excited to come back!! My favorite classes are taught by Coach Raj (upbeat & amazing music, no two classes are the same), but try out all the coaches & class types to really get the feel for everything offered. I walk out of each session feeling insanely accomplished (and very sweaty!!). I owe it to the folks at MHRC for completing my first half marathon. You seriously become a better runner at this place, no matter your starting point.

Classes fill up quick, so make sure you sign up ahead of time!!
I brought a Groupon because I thought this would be a great way to see if I'd enjoy this class.
It was the worst experience ever. I unfortunately was not treated so well by the owner / instructor, RJ Valentin.
When I arrived 10mins late (I work in the Bronx and get off at 6pm) I was told that I was interrupting his class by being late. When I mentioned where I worked & the time I get off, I was told "the you need to come to my Thursday at 7pm class". I responded that wouldn't work for me.

I finally got in the pool and he then said, see what happens when you're late. Fine, if you don't want me to help you, I won't. He then ignored me the rest of the class.

I unfortunately can't get my money back from Groupon, but I will not be returning to the class and using the rest of the reedemable classes. It's not worth it after the way he spoke to me.
