Not crazy about this location. Needs a revamp or something. It looks like it used to be another gym and equinox just slapped their name on it.

Hey give this location four Stars definitely like the equipment I have the green membership with blink so I go to a lot of blink
they have stuff in this one that I don't see in any other love to Hammer strength lat pulldown machine the incline shoulder press my only issue if they had two land mines now they only got one they need to get that second landmine back other than that the gym is clean the staff is friendly and very hot girls work there and work out there
*UPDATE*

Kelvin the owner reached to me and im in complete understanding of the situation. He seems like a great guy and I wish him and the business success.

Not sure if the owner thinks it's funny but for the past 2 years I've been getting calls for Kelvin for a small business loan. I was finally able to get someone to talk to me and finally was able to get figure out what business this was. I left a few messages at the Gym for Kelvin but I never got an answer back. I'm leaving this 1 star until I get this situation settled.
I usually use the fitness area. Clean facility and great staff.

They are discriminatory against the disabled and their caregivers( aides) who are sometimes needed to help the disabled live their best lives. SHAME ON YOU BLINK FITNESS
It wasn't my first time to enter a gym as a guest pass, but this was the first time for a receptionist to not know that they offered this option. They kept asking questions, then let us wait for the guy who showed us around, who also asked a couple of questions before doing so. Convenient place, but I didn't like the overall vibe of the staff.
Equinox is a distressing place, it's costly, but there is nothing better that investing in yourself for today and for your future. Also open on the weekends.

BEWARE: Requires 45 days notice to cancel and will charge you an annual fee regardless. Needed a place to work out over the summer. $127 in fees just to cancel. Going to try and get it refunded by bank or otherwise.
The cafe is overpriced, the deck is an annoying selfie mall. I walked into a yoga studio to stretch only to find a dude in costume making his own music video. One quiet morning on the deck, some bro was narrating a YouTube clip for his channel without asking anyone if it was cool they were being filmed for the web what in the eff?. Also the pool, track, and deck too often farm part of their space to outside parties and random corporate events. Not worth the increase.

I live in WV but make my way up to the Highline Equinox in Chelsea because it’s never crowded and the staff is so pleasant. The other clubs nearby are all Destination clubs so they cost more too. This is a great hidden gem!
Great workout space with a plethora of equipment. Awesome employees and customer service.

It has most equipment that you would use, treadmills, stationary bikes, free weights from 5 lbs to 90 or 100. 3 squat racks, 1 incline bench, 1 flat bench, about 5 benches, and assorted cable machines. The facility is great, but it's also very crowded most of the time. The price is good for what you get.

Money can’t buy fitness 💅

I have been a member of Crunch for many years, so was excited to try something new.
What a mistake.

Upon entering Equinox High Line, the first thing I noticed was the size of their clientele.
In Crunch, one is often greeted by a range of svelte men in their mid 20s, former college jocks and fitness hungry mums.
Gone was this crowd, replaced instead by the sort of person whose body wobbles every time they do a bench press.
I fear a lot of them had subscribed to the view that, when paying $500 to join plus $250 a month for fitness, the pounds should just magically melt away - even with just one gym visit a week!
Ladies, gentlemen and people of non-specific genders, I am afraid this is not how your body works.

Slightly perturbed, I made my way over to the machines.
Shock, they were EXACTLY the same as the ones in Crunch - with the same layer of icky bacteria on the handles to match.
The rowing machines were fun but, again, same as Crunch.
Carpet was nice and hoovered well, just like Crunch.

Baffled, I began to survey the gym to see what it was actually offering that might justify its ludicrous price tag.
I noticed an ironic fridge filled with scented towels on one side, a nice touch but hardly necessary. They also had edgy taps to dispense water - also nice but not needed.
Confused, I asked a member of staff whether the scents in the towels would somehow make your muscles grow faster. They looked about as confused as I was.

The sauna was nice but, again, hardly merited all the hubbub and chit chat that surrounds it.

If you have a couple of hundred to piss up the wall, then, rather than giving it to this gym, I would suggest you donate it all to a homeless shelter. That might actually make the streets of New York safe enough for that morning run you crave!

So glad to hear that the cleaning is being done thoroughly
It's an important space and great to know upkeep is getting upgraded
Thank you!

Great space with a warm and friendly staff, and (for the most part) chill, respectful patrons. Very good and accessible pool hours for adult lap swimming. I love that there are multiple lap lanes that work well for every type of swimmer. Great Lifeguards. All-around decent accommodations at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

I have been a member only a short time but I am happy! It’s nice to have a safe, air conditioned place to jog in the summer. I only wish the gym stayed open until 11 pm seven days a week.

This gym is still operating on pandemic hours.

M-Thurs they close at 10pm, which means to get a good workout you need to arrive by 830pm at the latest.

Fri they close at 8pm, which means to get a good workout you need to arrive by 630pm at the latest.

Sat-Sun they close at 7pm, which means to get a good workout you need to arrive by 530pm at the latest.

This is unacceptable for NYC. I raised the issue with management and they gave me a bunch of nonsense about assessing demand… blah, blah, blah. Well, you could close at 2pm and you’d observe attendance dropping around 1pm, so spare me the corporate doublespeak.

The hours at this location and the company’s rationale for permanently shortened hours are absurd. This location should return to pre-pandemic closing times of M-Thur 11pm, Fri 10pm, Sat-Sun 9pm.
For the money and convenience it can't be beat. It's clean with adequate equipment for a workout. Nice pool. Definitely no frills. It's what I call an "in and out" kind of gym.

Yooooooo!!!! Blink Bryant Park what the hell?!!! The news has literally been reporting a heat wave was coming and you all don’t have the A/C working?!!! This is not even the first time this has happened but on days like today, what the hell are you all doing with our membership and personal training money that you can’t make sure the A/C is working on one of the hottest days of the summer? This is absolutely ridiculous that you all do not keep up with this but you all certainly have no trouble taking our money on time. Definitely making me reconsider spending more money to go to a gym that cares more about their members.

They charge an annual fee on top of the monthly membership subscriptions which the sales rep at the gym will not tell you about even if you ask them directly if there are any additional charges. They require 45 days notice of cancellation and only allow you to cancel at the gym location. A customer service line that does nothing to handle issues with membership or a gym location. Unresponsive to feedback. An overall extremely hostile customer experience. I understand that it seems like a decent deal at first but the low monthly membership is not the amount you are actually billed once they apply a yearly maintenance fee, which they will charge even if you cancel before that next year starts. The gyms are poor quality and over crowded and there is no concern for safety issues. Its not worth it.
I was charged over $300 in extra fees because I was assigned to the incorrect sports club (which I never once went to). No one ever mentioned anything about going to the incorrect club any of the times I signed in. I noticed the fees on my credit card statement. These fees were never refunded despite escalating the complaint to management.
Everything was good, but nobody told us that they were two different menus, if you sit upstairs or downstairs. I would prefer the burger which would be the downstairs menu. Besides that everything was lovely. Food was good our waiter was great.
Don't go here if you are trying to swim laps. I've come here on multiple occasions and was told that the pool is closed even though there is nobody in the pool and it is not being used for anything else. When there aren't swimming events being held at the pool, there are very limited times where you are actually able to swim laps making it very impractical if you are trying to work on your swimming.
I have been a member at CPF for 1 year and I am cancelling my membership. It is a nice facility with a lovely roof deck and equipment, however it is not worth the price point and at times has been a very frustrating experience.

Feedback on my experience -
-The group fitness classes are meh, some are certainly better than others (I loved Juggy's classes and Shenika's) but I had some pretty bad experiences with their group fitness class (one instructor didn't make attempts to connect with regulars who came weekly, one didn't give modification options for exercises like running with a 30 pound bag and was rude to me when I tried to do something else, frequent mic issues, etc.)
-This is my biggest qualm - incredibly difficult to get a hold of people and book sessions. My initial complimentary personal training session they double booked me for, resulting in me starting 30 minutes late. Since then, I have tried to book additional sessions, and every time I call the "FitDesk" who books sessions for you they aren't there. Their process for booking sessions also makes no sense - instead of simply having a master calendar of the trainers' schedules and availability, there is a representative to connect you to the trainer, then you email back and forth with the trainer and the FitDesk representative to find a time (if they even get back to you which I have struggled with), and then it is "booked". To get a hold of the representative like I said is nearly impossible, and some of the trainers are also very difficult to get a hold of to schedule time with once you are connected to them.
-They recently brought in a vendor for food called Canteen, and it is horrible.
-The mobile app is also not great, there is limited functionality
-You get a credit when you join and no one has visibility into how much my credit is (can't find it on my app or in my initial signup email)
-The amenities in the locker room are all unbranded which leads me to believe they aren't very high quality.
-They raised their prices and even before then I was planning to cancel. Its a beautiful space, but does not hold up to the caliber it should for the price.

I’ve been coming to blink for over 8 years and this particular location has officially hit rock bottom. I recently returned to this location since 34th st location closed and it’s crazy af in here.
Trash full to the top everywhere.
No beverages ever in fridge.
When you give the manager feedback she is so rude and dismissive.

Love that they’re open to 11pm. Clean and friendly staff. I’d chose this gym over the NYU crowded student gym any day!
Fantastic gym - the space is so spacious, feels like a little getaway in the city. And top of the line instructors.
I have been understanding but my patience has been exhausted. Since my time is so easily disregarded, then I might as well share my honest and transparent public review:

Owner and head coach thinks burning bridges with a former employee was an appropriate response to not wanting to properly compensate them for their time as a coaching intern. Instead I played tag for six months with Kelvin and was left with no response nor timeframe of payment. (Note that the training period was Summer 2022 and I resigned January 2023). His sudden reason being that the training program stipend was task-based and not hourly, and a string of more blame game excuses on myself and his staff. At the time I showed up and did what was told. I am not in control nor responsible for others' disorganization. I have screenshots and colleague witnesses as evidence. It's not about the money, it's the principle.

However, the coaches are knowledgeable and amicable - it's unfortunate that their potential isn't being cultivated. If you're looking to meet amazing coaches and see results you'll get it here. Front Desk staff is also attentive and personable. Can't say the same for the behind the scenes work environment, clearly.

badminton courts have been wrong dimensions for years. As of May 2023 the court is still wrong ( its longer on one side than the other) and the set schedule is often canceled for last minute events that the staff comes up with

staff requires us to show lock before going in and to lock up our stuff so make sure to bring a lock.

The pros: they have a swimming pool, pingpong table, and gym.
Extremely disappointed. The AC has not been working for over 2 weeks now. Asked several times about it. They keep saying "we are looking into it" etc. I am sorry, but paying the hefty monthly membership fee to workout at a gym without AC is unacceptable. This is supposed to be "High-end".

Additionally. The hours of operation are the most ridiculous thing I have seen. Weekends closes at 7PM? Wow

Unacceptable Equinox experience. There were no benches, aging equipment and no towels to be found for more than a half hour. The front desk staff did not seem to care, considering many others in the locker room were complaining. The brand has gone downhill in recent years, clearly cutting corners to cut costs and of course raise prices. Will be considering cancelling until issues are resolved and implore others to think about the same. The beauty of NYC is that there is always another, often better, alternative to most things.
Very educated trainers, semi private training and classes are smart.

I visited the place again today. It's surprising to find that their operational hours remain unchanged, closing at 7pm on both Saturdays and Sundays, even though the COVID-19 pandemic has long since ended. The maintenance team's presence can be rather overwhelming; it's not uncommon to see vacuum cords haphazardly spread out during peak hours, leading to members often stumbling over them.

An unfortunate incident happened today, where a man was unable to handle the weights on the bench press and dropped them onto his chest. Instead of offering assistance, the maintenance team just vacuumed around him as he grappled with the weights. Thankfully, another member stepped in to assist him. It's disconcerting to realize that the staff here lacks both knowledge and initiative, a combination that could potentially lead to legal troubles for the gym due to their incompetence.

Moreover, it's a regular sight to see members monopolizing multiple machines during peak hours. It's not unheard of for individuals to leave their belongings on up to three machines simultaneously. Management should email members of this gym, reminding them of proper gym etiquette rather than allowing a hostile environment to fester. I’ve seen members get into arguments with each other when a rude member is monopolizing multiple machines during a busy time. To put it bluntly, this gym is far from an ideal workout environment.

The sole reason I frequent this gym is due to its convenience – its location just below my apartment, coupled with the fact that its membership fee is bundled into my rent.

For three months now I have been trying to get in contact with someone in customer service about an issue I’ve had at one of their facilities. For three months I’ve been given the run around and have yet to speak to anyone. First, Tara Monroe said that she would connect me with the club manager where I had the issue. This was March 6, 2023. Then after following up because I heard NOTHING, Bruno Lima on MAY 8th tells me the same thing. LIES. Not one person reached out. So now I have to take it to the BBB because I’m getting nowhere with this horrible customer service and I definitely have the bandwidth to see this to the end.

Edit: June 13, 2023- Still not a peep from member services. Take your money elsewhere because these people honestly DONT care whether you are injured or what. They got your money and that is all that matters to them
Visiting NYC and our hotel (Mondrian) has a reciprocity agreement with this club. Convenient, clean facility with a solid amount of equipment, and friendly and informative staff. Shout out to AGM Tommy for the welcome and quick gym orientation!
Great gym, very well Equipped, staff is very friendly and it was super clean and organized. Not over crowded so it’s easy to get through a workout without waiting.

This theater is a great place to have a show, ample seating, a great sound system located on 14th street in New York City
I got an e-mail notifying me that my membership had been cancelled. As I wasn't sure about keeping it anyways, I figured that was fine. And then went and joined another gym. Six months later I realized they had nonetheless kept charging me. When I brought it up to them, they refused to refund the $400 they had charged me over that time.

ETA: Re, the response from the owner. I brought it up with the manager of the club, who escalated it to the regional manager. Both of them said they would not refund the money. They're aware of what they're doing wrong. They simply prefer to keep the money than to remedy it. "Great customer service" means being polite, as long as it doesn't cost them anything. Even when they had no real right to the money in the first place.

Always a fantastic workout experience when I go to the High Line location - I love the open concept of the weights area and the spaciousness of the locker room. Also, the yoga and Pilates studio upstairs have amazing views of the high line and all of the instructors I’ve had were top notch. Will return every time I’m in the area!!

Going back to working out after a LONG break. There was a lot going on, people of all ages using machines and exercise spaces. Notable attention to hygiene practices.
Not impressed at all, especially with the price increase and overall excessive greedy business model. Management here must think up new and consistent ways of fleecing the membership out of more money annually. For me the size of the facility seems excessive and wasted. The boxing area is very open and desolate. A few bags and a ring which seems pointless aside from the less than stellar classes. These fitness based classes are tiresome and really are not unique compared to less costly venues and gyms. Many of the trainers recycle through these and are often at the lower tier gyms. So the routines and exercises are the same. Way pay more? The place has a bit of a bourgeoise attitude, especially from staff at times.

Very run down facility. The gym area is tiny and get cramped and overcrowded during peak hours. The indoor court is often empty during the day and a complete waste of space. The classes are limited to the same offerings I find at local gyms. Why is there not a cardio boxing or kickboxing class offered? That is the most popular nowadays. I came here looking specifically for such a class after leaving an expensive Rumble style class. I thought this place being a Y, would offer such a class for far less. What a shame as there does seem to be enough space in the studio too.

On Wednesday January 25th, I had left my headphone case in a treadmill briefly, when I returned they were gone. I checked with the front desk but they had not been turned in. I managed to track my case using an app and playing a sound that led me straight to the thief, this happened right in front of the front desk between the hours of 2:00 -2:20 pm. I managed to get my case back and I immediately pointed the person out to the front desk, I was told he was new and did not know how to work the system, the other person present was on her phone while this was happening. I am not sure how this member is still able to workout at this location freely even after being caught stealing someone else’s property? 3 months later I still see the member every time I must come to this gym because of convenience, the manager said she would follow up with me 2 months ago and never did.. apparently this person has been a long time member “since the gym opened” and since he didn’t admit to stealing he is ok to keep on working out there under the eyes of blink, even though I’ve caught him and they can just check the cameras to verify this. I wasn’t getting anywhere with the manager and asked to speak to her boss but her boss “will only say the same thing she has”. Makes no sense, just posting this so others can watch out. Will be downgrading my membership, I can’t go here anymore, not worth it.

The gym is ancient and much of the equipment is limited and beyond repair. The space is far too small to accommodate, especially during peak hours. I waste more time trying to wait for equipment to free up and for people to let others have access. Very disappointing. Whoever is the manager in this place needs to update the gym area with more equipment and establish better rules and policies. There is no enforcement here.

Also, they offer the usual classes you would find at any Y or big box type gym but there is no boxing class? Why? That is probably the most effective and popular class in any gym or boutique fitness facility. There should be one at this place. No reason why it does not exist and I came here specifically due to the close proximity and for access to a boxing based type class. One where they have a heavy bag and some pads to train with a good coach. Not sure why this place does not have such a class already. Shame, since they have a large studio for the silly dance class or barre stuff. We live in a pro-crime city, I would say boxing is more relevant.
Good center, in decent shape with a lot of programs for all ages, including gym and fitness. Scheduling and availability is a problem. Worth the trouble.

The facility is in itself monstrous in comparison to other franchise based gyms. In this regard it inspires admiration. However, it terms of the daily protocols established by an inept and rapacious management, I will refrain from offering much praise. The increase is membership rates and charges is unwarranted. This is excessive and screams of predatory practices to increase the bottom line. The classes offered are a hit and miss. Coming from a combat background with extensive experience I have to say many fitness routines and instruction is less then desirable or optimal. For boxing, fitness is fine but this trend will hopefully decline as it is an contradictory to the sport. Go to a real boxing gym in the city for equal levels of fitness with realism and application as well as much needs competition. This drives your inner incentive to better oneself. Not doing mindless derivative exercises based on HIIT or pseudo contact drills. the lockers could use more upkeep. Numerous occasions I was unable to find suitably clean linen or towels. Also the hours of operation need to reflect the sleepless nature of which this city in accustomed. After all, I think the members are paying enough in fees.
Missing equipment, not enough equipment; the story of every equinox you’ll ever go to. Catered too much towards the workout class folk and people with $ to spend on personal trainers. Only 3 squat racks, no hack squat, only 2 lat pull down cable machines, no standing calf machine, etc.
By far the best gym I have ever been to in Manhattan! Immaculate facilities, tons of equipment, extraordinarily well-kept and fresh-looking locker room with an excellent sauna and steam room.

However, what sets this place apart from the rest is the atmosphere and environment in the gym. It’s light and airy, with high ceilings and windows that let in tons of natural light, looking out to the river. Since it’s on a pier, you can even see the Statue of Liberty down the bay. It motivates me to come back every day.

The sheer amount of activities here is mind-blowing, from the indoor track, boxing ring, volleyball, basketball, and pool. Even the stretching area is excellent, with the artificial turf.

The cafe seating area can double as a coworking space with Wi-Fi and views looking south down the river. The coffee in the cafe is even good!

They also offer a private locked bike storage area in the garage included in the membership.

I can not say enough good things about this gym.
Took the SWEAT class with Sarah on a Saturday morning and I loved it! She balanced weights and cardio and keeps the class very high energy. She also makes an effort to remember your name and she will call it out when you are doing a good job. I will definitely be taking this class with her again!

Extremely disappointed in this location. First off, I never see anyone cleaning and its always packed. I used to go to the Long Island location and honestly thought the quality of the city locations would be equal if not better. Wrong! I asked to hang up my coat-they said I need to pay $50/month for a locker. Is this a joke? I pay 300/month for an all access membership and see the trainers 5x a week. One of the elevators also just doesn't work and we were trapped in it for a bit. I told the desk and they were like "yeah we know." Shut the elevator off like really. The equipment is also very old and the trainers are ok at most. Watch the clock-within the span of 2 weeks, they tried to cut me on time 3x with one trying to end as much as 15 minutes early. Had I not advocated for myself, the session would have just ended. At one point, I was made fun of by another member (a 50 year old man) for wearing my casual polo shirt as workout attire-like really what are we 5 years old. Will not be renewing that's for sure

EDIT: The last couple of weeks have been a lot better. It's not even remotely as crowded. Have had better experiences with the trainers etc. Hopefully things trend towards a better direction permanently. Supposedly, there's a new manager who's very on top of things.
Nice facility but there are always events on the basketball court making it very difficult to actually use it, and they don't post the schedule anywhere so you have to call every time you want to go (just to get told more than half the time that the court isn't open). Not worth the membership if you primarily just wanted a place to hoop.

Terrible facility. My membership ended, no one told me for a month (I went 5 days a week) finally someone decided to tell me after watching me swipe in M-F for 4 weeks and seeing on his screen the membership was inactive. So then I had to pay like a would starting a new membership.
This summer I had an emergency and literally had to leave in the middle of a work out. I had my street clothes in a locker with a lock, I told a person at the counter I’d be back in the morning. When I got back the follow morning my lock was cut. Then I had to wait almost an hour to locate my possessions which they stored somewhere in a garbage bag.
The manager is a joke who told me she didn’t care if she lost me as a member or not. This was 7 months ago. So I stopped making in gym purchases $10-15 a day. Because I had paid the membership for the year.
Would be a perfect place to swim if it weren't for the fact that the pool is like a hot tub. Anyone attempting to actually swim laps will quickly become overheated and dehydrated. The management explained that they keep it hot for the seniors who like it that way. On my recent visit, the lifeguard was not enforcing circle swimming. Circle swimming has been a rule at every city pool I've been to and it is much safer. This pool is the only city pool I've been to that lets people swim any which way, like a YMCA.

I really like Blink Grand Central. The management and staff have everything to do with it. They are engaging, friendly and kind. If I ever have a question about my membership or other matter, they are quick to answer and resolve. The gym is extremely clean which is also important to me. I have never had a bad experience and I have been going consistently for the last year.

Below is my review for personal trainer, Clement Butler:
I chose to work with Clement because he is certified personal trainer and a licensed massage therapist. His expertise in these two areas is important to me because I was healing from several injuries when I came to Blink. I knew from our first session that I was in excellent hands. Clement met me right where I was. On top of this, Clement brings his kind, thoughtful, super-positive and motivating energy to every session.

Because I was determined to heal my body, I decided to train with Clement 4 times weekly in half hour sessions. We work on strength, coordination, core work and various weight workouts but every time we train, he mixes it up and knows when to encourage, when to maintain or how to switch it up, always keeping a watchful eye. Clement really listens and pays attention to what my body can or cannot do…yet.

Throughout this year there were days I didn’t think I could get through a single set or do another rep. When I first started, I didn’t even have the strength to get into a car. My legs just could not do it. Climbing the stairs on my way out of Blink was draining. Some days were really, really, hard, but I showed up even when I had to hobble over or had a bad night or woke up so stiff and barely able to move. It would have been so easy to put it off, but I knew Clement was waiting for me with his commitment to our work and his patience, encouragement, spirit and humor.

I now do workouts I absolutely dreaded when I first started, with ease. As the weeks and months passed, I began to see my body healing and changing. I am so amazed that I feel better now than I did a year ago, BEFORE my injuries. I have strength and stamina, and it shows. I thought looking and feeling as good as I do now was behind me. Trust me when I say I was someone who absolutely hated the gym…but not anymore. Clement has helped me beyond measure. There is no question in my mind that he will give his absolute best to you as well.

The staff are quite nice and friendly always trying very hard to please and keep a good attitude although there are never enough or any towels at all. equipment need fixing shower that's not clean or toilet paper on a Monday morning. Despite of all this the front desk staff are very nice and try very hard to do a good job. I joined Bryant Park Blinks the week it opened in 2015 and I have purchased the towel service then but cancelled because they were never towels and several times my account was charged $5 for towels I was told I did not return. I got tired of this and cancel the service. I cancelled my membership in 2021 due to the Pandemic and rejoined April 2022. I once again purchased the towel service and once I was able to get a hand towel and there is always an issues with towels but today was the worst because i had to dry myself with my clothes I exercised in. I was told towels were not delivered and the on my way out there were 3 bags of dirty towels in the elevator. I am going to buy some camping towels and cancel my towel service. From 2015 - Now they have the same issues with Towel service. That is a management issue not a staff issue.

I cancelled my membership in August since I relocated and the staff confirmed it. Two months later my card has been billed $700. I rang in and was told it hadn’t been cancelled but they would do so and refund me if I provide proof of relocation which I did. Two weeks later no response or refund so I presume I’ll be charged another $300. Was thinking of rejoining when I returned but no way!
I can't say enough bad things about corporate. It was a decent gym to go to but I tried to cancel, it didn't process at the kiosk , and they continued to charge me for months. I explained the situation and they wouldn't refund me any of that money. $170. Do not join Blink Fitness.

This gym in journal square jersey city is getting worse everyday we pay maintenance fee for nothing cause the gym is always disgusting
This is one of the best New York City Parks and it is indoors, with a very clean environment, swimming pool, pool tables, ping pong tables, Basket ball, picket ball and much more.
The Staff are good people who are nice and calm.
I REALLY DO LIKE THIS FITNESS CENTER, THEY HAVE SOME EXTRA EXCLUSIVE EQUIPMENT , THAT I LIKE SUCH AS THE SUPER SQUAT , THEY HAVE A HIP THRUST MACHINE THAT HAS A DEEP ARCH IN IT, PLUS THEIR WEIGHTS ARE IRON, LOVE I ENJOYED THE LOCATION AND THE FRONT DESK REPRESENTATIVE DAMIEN WAS VERY NICE...

I LIKE THIS BLINK ALOT , FOR ONE IT HAS THE ABSOLUTE MOST SPACE I HAVE EVER SEEN IN ANY FITNESS GYM , ALL THE EQUIPMENT IS NICELY SPACED OUT, THEIR WAS NO REAL WAITING TIME FOR EQUIPMENT, VERY CLEAN AS EXPECTED, BUT MOST OF ALL I APPRECIATE REPRESENTATIVE TREVOR VERY VERY NICE YOUNG MAN, VERY RESPECTFUL VERY HELPFUL, PLUS IT IS RIGHT NEXT TO THE SUBWAY. 4,5, AND 6 TRAIN AS WELL AS THE METRO NORTH.. ONE THING THOUGH IF YOU DONT PAY ATTENTION YOU CAN WALK RIGHT PASS THE GYM, THERE IS NOT MUCH...
TO EAT BUT THEIR ARE A COUPLE THINGS TO EAT IN THE MCDONALD'S, HALE AND HEARTY, AND I THINK A WALK TO WOK RESTAURANT, DONT QUOTE ME ON THAT...

It’s impossible to cancel a membership. They leech off of you until they can’t anymore. Don’t do the mistake I did and make sure your membership is actually canceled after you cancel it. The best thing you can do is canceling your credit card.

Edit: I don’t even know they want me to contact them. It’s not like you are going to pay me back or anything. You can look up my name in your system and see.
To put things in perspective, I have the all access membership and this rating is me, comparing the club to the others. There’s nothing luxury about this club. Had a strong nysc vibe. Shower handles are lose, walls looked outdated, steam room was out of service, many machines were out… the list goes on. Oh, and it’s weirdly located on the second floor of a sketchy building. Definitely not worth the money.
Really average gym, and abysmal hours (shortening the hours during the busiest season, really?). Thinks they can charge the premium just for the name, but they’re going to have to update this location or risk losing customers. Only upside is great front desk staff
I love BSF and have been coming here for a few years now. It's a wonderful training facility and a welcoming community. The quality of the instruction is always on point, whether you train in person or virtually. I love that they require proof of vaccination in order for anyone to train in person without a mask, I really respect and appreciate that as a client especially noticing that many gyms and studios do not have such a requirement. The facility is no frills but has everything you need, and you will always get an awesome and effective workout here. I highly recommend this spot and it is a wonderful local small fitness business to support!

Great gym. Been going to this location on and off for about 4 years now. Always greeted with a smile regardless of who is at the front desk. Everything is clean. Especially due to Covid-19, I see this place constantly being sprayed and wiped down. Definitely way better than many other locations I've visited. SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO THE HARDEST WORKING MAN IN THEIR STAFF, JOSEPH!!! The entire staff works hard but Joseph is someone you will constantly see moving around cleaning and making sure this gym is nothing short of amazing. I asked him "How is everything?" He simply and sincerely replied "I'm having fun!"

Came here when the music from the speakers was off. It's unusual for a gym, but it's so much better! Some people would like the option of working out without music - and most come with their headphones anyway. It also keeps people from blasting the volume in their headphones/earpieces just to tune out the loud music from the speakers. Something different but welcome. It seems like it could accommodate all.
Nice facility, very clean, parking is a nightmare.
I played a volleyball game here. The court was small but had a high ceiling. It was nice, but the lighting wasn't great.
A friends of Fred Samuel's, is allowed to play their basketball game.
I visited this location and left disappointed. Although the staff was VERY nice the gym itself was not. There are very little windows, some machines were out of order (stair master, rowing machine), treadmills did not quickly change to the speed desired, mirrors near the stretching areas don’t go all the way down to the floor and there is no spin room. And finally, the locker room looked dirty and outdated (Wallpaper falling off, holes in the wall) it needs to be renovated ASAP.
The trainers are great! They have added quite a few new services like sauna, normatec etc.

Wish the locker rooms were a little bigger, they could use a refresh with more showers and brighter showers.
I needed a winter pool once the summer pools had shut. This is a surprisingly good modern facility.

Great competition standard 25 yard pool with morning laps 7 - 10am.

At $75 for six months this place is highly recommended.

Good staff attitude that you don’t always find at City Rec Centres.
Overpriced, trainers not very helpful, facility was really just ok. The staff at the reception could definitely have served better. almost seemed like it was their first day at a new job.
Babysitting during the weekdays especially is unreliable. Came here for a class with expectations of babysitting being available and the babysitter wasn’t there despite me calling in advance. If this service is so unreliable, it shouldn’t even be offered. With all the rate increases, management should be better on this front.

Good, clean facility. This place is large and spacious. Many different training areas with good equipment. There's a stretching floor and a free weights area.
The staff are friendly. The locker rooms are clean the bathroom was clean.
The members are locals and it feels comfortable to work out here.
There's towel service available for an additional charge.
Get the membership level that allows you unlimited guests. That's a great benefit.
I play volleyball here with a league. It is a nice space and the staff is friendly.

Very hard to work out here since it is crowded all the time. Worst times are M-F from 4:30 to 9PM.

Gym is clean, staff is nice and cordial and the equipment is new and well kept.

One big compliant is that they keep the Gym cold. Even after working out and having my heart rate reach 170 beats per minute, I don’t even sweat cause it is so cold. Guess they don’t want you to sweat cause it is more to clean. Hope the manger fixes this as being cold while you workout is just not comfortable and even may cause you to get sick.
Great facility for recreational sports.
Fun place to have games
