The ambient is soooo nice! It’s not so busy so you don’t feel like in a disco hahaha I felt really comfortable here and the staff that I could talk with is really friendly.

I highly recommend the Loco HQ crossfit gym, which for me is the best on the Gold Coast ! More than just a club, it's a real family that welcomes you and makes you feel good! The equipment is top quality and the coaches are always there to guide you and explain the moves and the work of the day. A special mention goes to Paco's 3 daughters, who are already real champions in their teens and make you want to surpass yourself 💪. I absolutely love training at Loco. The coaches live and breath what they teach and are super passionate about what they do.
There is a wide range of fitness levels, skills and capabilities. No one is left behind. I love that it isn’t your typical gym filled with 20 year olds in full make up spending more time on Insta than lifting weights!

Loco HQ is the place to be on the GC. I am GC born and bred and have been to a lot of gyms here but nothing that truly felt like home and pushed me to my limits. It embraces a family-oriented atmosphere and offers exceptional workout programs. What sets this gym apart is its dedication to providing a welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. Loco has an incredible range of workout programs designed to cater to families, ensuring that each member can achieve their individual fitness goals while bonding together. The head coach is an absolute force of nature, bringing an infectious energy and passion to every session. Paco's crazy yet effective coaching style motivates and pushes me to new limits, leaving me feeling accomplished and excited to return for more. The same can be said about Annette and Mish who support and motivate you, ensuring correct form and technique.

Loco's commitment to family fitness is truly commendable. They offer a variety of group classes that cater to all age groups, making it a breeze for families and individuals to work out together and have fun in the process. The amenities and facilities are top notch offering a comfortable place to workout and socialise. I've been at Loco HQ for 6 years and I am challenged with new workouts each week.

Such a fun and supportive place to workout! I’ve been training with Paco and the crew at Loco for the last 5 months and absolutely love it.

Workouts are a challenge, the coaches keep you motivated and give knowledgeable advice and instructions. Sessions cater for all fitness types with modifications for whatever your ability (or if you just want to have a lazy day, that’s ok!).

The gym is more than just a place to workout, it’s a community you want to be a part of.

I joined Fitstop Mermaid Beach in February this year, best decision I ever made. The coaches are amazing, if you ask for tips they’re more than happy to help and always having a laugh at their own expense and the community of members there makes you wanting to go back everyday. Can’t imagine myself anywhere else!

I joined loco in July 2017. It was the premiere of Ninja Warrior show in Australia. I’ve always been fascinated with how these people do it. I’ve researched around GC and trialled few CrossFit gyms that offer functional training but nothing that has OCR training and then I saw LOCO HQ on tv. I trialled, and I joined the challenge. I got hooked! 💪🏼

It’s been 5 years and I’m still here, so many changes happened, changes for the better and now I am one of the coaches 😊. How about that? That’s how much I love this gym and most of all I love the people.💕

When I joined LocoHq I was still kind of new in GC, and it was difficult to fit in, difficult to find friends, difficult to find gyms. But in LOCO I did not only find a gym that I LOVE , I found FAMILY. 💕

I was never a regular at the gym until joining Fitstop Mermaid Beach! The trainers are highly experienced and create a comfortable and inviting environment. It's nice being able to go into a session and not have to think about what to do - makes the mind battle of getting to the gym simpler and hassle free!

Not only has FitStop Mermaid been amazing for my fitness, smashing many goals during my 18 months as a member, but also my social life. I have created some true friends for life due to the environment and culture Jess and Joel have created at the the gym!

Two words to sum up this gym... life changing! Fitstop is the perfect mix of weights, cardio and some days a bit of both. Sessions are available in in the morning and afternoon, so there is never an excuse to miss a session. The Mermaid Beach location is something else though! The trainers always bring the vibes. Those days you don't feel like going to gym, you are guaranteed to leave with a sweaty smile on your face. The Mermaid Beach location is more than just a gym, it is a family. The gym offers multiple opportunities for members to mingle and grow as a community, including breakfasts and ice baths after Saturday sessions. Great gym and great atmosphere. Plenty of machines for all kinds of workouts. It's just the advertised 7-day free trial is only 4 days in reality since Fri, Sat and Sun the gym is unstaffed most of the time and there is no one to let you in.
