Prices keep going up, theres hardly any chicken & beef in there dishes anymore!!!! Service is worse all the time. Been going for years, won't be going any more!!!
Food is so delicious and taste . They make the food with love and passion .
I will always recommend this place any time .
I am going to try all their specials becuwe they make food so good .
Thank you for feeding me properly today
Nice place to come with family for Chinese food. Hospitality was good and food tasted great. The quantity is huge so order accordingly. The chicken corn soup was awesome. Shrimp batter fry was yummy as an appetiser. Loved the Chicken Fried Rice.
Food has declined there every year
I remember liking the food in 1995 and every year I give them another chance
Outside of restaurant is an eyesore
So they must be going bankrupt just for never cleaning outside and inside of building. Why must is smell dusty like a value village
Their cooks and owners do not care about quality of their food
There is more effort in a TV dinner
You can’t put so much sauce on everything to cover up your 10
$ bag of premade chicken balls that you get so cheap and it tastes cheap tastes never fresh
Nothing is fresh I think they can’t stand behind quality because they know it’s true
I’m sure the staff doesn’t eat there and the cook is laughing that we eat it
Bottom line premade food that isn’t edible and will make you have a stomach ache from food prep that is not made well to even make the restaurant smell nice
All new owners that have a following in Niagara Falls and I will never again waste the whole order
It was all thrown out and manager said she didn’t care and wouldn’t indulge me In a second or for the second night with taking off a couple dishes in price to cover the whole chow mein barf and sweet and sour pork that was too hard in the middle with no deboning
She said she asked twice to my 16 year old who ordered for his first time
That he was sure and was asked twice because I’m sure she know it’s on the ten worse dish list and she knows her pork and the disguise it is served and can’t see bones and bad meat with all he sauces
Chow mein and sweet and sour pork with the most money being directed to huge jugs of sauce to cover the food
Anyone else please speak up I have waited about 20 years to declare that I will not waste about 45 $ ever
Dinner for two is a joke
U can’t eat and must pay and nobody will listen to you but it’s criminal and I’m sorry that my honesty is so irritable to the owner
THESe 5 STARS ARE MADE BY STAFF
THEY NEVER HAVE GIVEN GOOD FOOD SINCE 1998
Bad integrity and rudeness of manager and telephone intake( both women) comes with the extreme load of unsatisfied customers and I feel sorry for you that you have your face and name behind such a fail in every way
You need pity and empathy to be a human like that u should get a paper bag on ur face just to walk by a mirror
How do u live with urself
Questionable restaurant (always empty) . Lady on the phone for phone was rude and did not provide a total price when I asked and I was told that the total wasn’t provided because it was too busy. Their online menu has no pricing so that’s questionable. The food is not bad if you accept a few bones…. I have had better at after hours bars I suppose. Wife loves the place for some reason
This used to be the only place where I would get Chinese food. Not anymore. The last two times their food has been disgusting. It’s a shame that it is now only a takeout place but I can understand if they have a decrease in customers. I am so disappointed in their food, I would not recommend it to anyone. I suggest they get a new cook if they keep going the way they are they will be closed in no time.

The cleanest, most aesthetically pleasing atmosphere in a Vietnamese restaurant in the area. And a small soup is truly small. Beautiful and clean, marble tables, comfortable chairs.

We really enjoy the Pho from here, I get the rare beef with all the fixings. We also enjoy the chicken wings. We have been here many times and it’s always good, service is consistent, not great but not bad. If you like Pho check them out.

Very friendly staff... Great food and good portion ... Definitely recommend and will go back again
Awesome people, great food is the only place in 5 cities that make general taos chicken correctly and is the only place I would eat Chinese food.
I call around noon put my order for 6:30 , first of all I couldn't get any egg rolls because they ran out, how could you run out that early of the day, next my order wasn't ready until 7:00 pm, maybe you have to order your day ahead, It used to be great place ,not anymore, it stinks now, lemon chicken was so greasy it was awful. It's time to look for better place.
A rare gem in Niagara Falls!!! This restaurant is simply superb with reasonably priced oriental food. Your time and money will NOT be wasted should you dine in at this restaurant. Sorry for the empty plates. Food was delicious 😋
Literally the best Chinese food in all of Niagara. Our favorites are the chicken fried rice, beef and veg, and the spareribs. So freaking good!
The food was good value for money. But they are very busy and the staff is very stressed and are in too much of a hurry. They were just in the thin line between being rude and not rude. But stayed on the not rude side.
Picked my order up 10 minutes before it was due , drove 5 minutes home, opened up to room temperature food, broccoli was mushy ,crispy green beans we’re saturated with oil , lots of mushy broccoli and very little beef. Rates with the worst I’ve ever eaten. Will not be back.Egg rolls and chicken balls weren’t much better.

We visited this restaurant for lunch for our Niagara Falls getaway. The staff welcomed us as we walked in and we could choose any table we wanted to sit at which was comfortable and convenient. The restaurant barely had anyone which made the visit comfortable and pleasant, as it was quiet and we did not have to deal with any things related to people.

We ordered multiple dishes and the food came out relatively quickly. The dishes were hot and we enjoyed them. The food is also at a low price which is good for people who want to save money while having good food. We also got fortune cookies for the number of people at our table as we paid the bill.

It's a great place for family, friends, coworkers, or even just a short stop for a simple lunch or dinner. The staff is kind and the food is fresh. You can enjoy healthy Chinese dishes here.

I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food and the quick delivery service. I ordered some combo meals on Christmas day and they were delivered hot and fresh. The delivery fee to NOTL was a bit ridiculous($25), but my family and I had been drinking so it was safer to get the delivery. All around, I was happy with the meal and the chicken balls were the best I've ever had! There was actually quality size meat in there. Thank you, Magnolia for feeding my family and I on a lazy Christmas day.

My first time coming here and I rate it 3.5 for the food. I ordered the Pho special; the broth was alright and could have had more rice noodles. Service was satifactory.

Saddened to see how things have changed. I used to frequently go get take out "create your own dinner" the prices have gone up quite a lot and the quality has gone way down. Nothing was hot and the rice was barely fried. Ordered a spareribs dish with garlic sauce only to receive a dish of ribs with NO sauce. Heard there's a new ownership. I wish them well but I won't be back.

New owners took over. I have ordered from China Express for years. I always have been very happy with the food qnd prices but when I went there last week the take out containers were smaller and the new owner gave me a new menu and they raised the prices. So more money for smaller portions. I won't be ordering from them again.

The worst place to have or order food with even worst service once confronted. How difficult a simple veg noodle can be ?? I received literally 4-5 chunk of noodles with a chunk of spice(s) sticked together. I went back, and got just excuses. I did receive a fried rice as an exchange but that too was taste-less.
I am never going back and would recommend everyone the same.

We are pleased to have found Asian cuisine in Niagara Falls. Food was excellent. The server was also very welcoming. The location is close to the falls.

This is a great place to stop for pick up only . Nice people , willing to explain the dishes , I bought wonton soup spring rolls , beef and broccoli us chow mein with veggies . Plus TX and tip bill was 35.00 .
If I can give them -5 review…. Still will not be satisfied. This place is junk… staff is rude and the food is NOT GOOD! Their chicken was cooked in whatever oil was not even tasting good. Also it was more batter less chicken. The noodle were so blend like they just put salt and cornstarch! The epic was this… their honey garlic chicken wings were tasting like cooked in corn syrup! When I asked our waitress where is garlic, she replied and showed me 2 pieces tiny of garlic and said this is how we cook and if you don’t taste garlic it’s your fault 😂. They charged tip knowing the fact I wasn’t going to pay… guess what the different server came asked you didn’t like my service …! We all said go ask your co worker. All in all don’t waste your money for food and bad attitude as well. As the place is damn expensive for no reason.
We ordered take out got the dinner for 4pick your own. We got the general Tsao chicken and the honey garlic ribs. The dinner included sweet and sour chicken balls, chicken fried rice a,breaded shrimp and egg rolls. This meal was a total of 45.00. I have to say it's the best meal we have gotten from a Chinese restaurant thank you for the great meal.

This place is really for tourists who want Chinese food. It's better than your typical Chinese takeout, but don't expect quality Chinese food.

We ordered beef Chow fun and seafood delight. The beef and the roast pork was very dry.

The service was decent. The place is very outdated though, but it was clean.
The plates are huge for one person. Be ready to share them. Rice comes separately. Staff, were rushing, not sure if it was because of the time. But, other than that were okay.
Really good food, service was good. Pleasant atmosphere.
Hands down the best chinese food I've tried in the niagara region. I've been skeptical to try as when I go by the building there is rarely people inside eating. Must be because they get take out so they can scorf it down at home! Ordered through uber eats. The chicken balls were packed on the side with the egg roll so they were still crispy. The portions are very generous and the food was DELICIOUS. The chicken wings were disappointing but the menu did say fried wings and I was expecting a jar doo but they were still good. The beef and broccoli made my soul happy, the sauce was perfect and the fried rice was amazing, especially drowned in the beef and broccoli sauce. Going to try again soon and if it's as good this place definitely has two new customers.
P.s I ate one of the chicken balls before I took the pic
Our favorite place in Niagara for lunch. Amazing food, super fast service. Helpful staff. We ordered Wonton not knowing they contain pork. The waitress asked us whether we ate pork. Great gesture. Plenty of parking. Clean washroom. Nice interior.

Worst chinese food I ever had. Do not go to this place. Food is really bad.
I would never recommend this to anyone.
1 Stars for the Nice Plastic Take Out Bag and the Packets of Soy Sauce. I had never ordered from this location before, our regular place was closed, so we took a shot. I had only seen the Reviews on THEIR page and not Google, until after we ordered. I have never ever had a version of Chinese Food that is this bad! Seriously! Lemon Chicken was so gross, its not a fine batter, it was from frozen like the rest of the food. The "Lemon Sauce" was chunky and thick in a small container and not lemon at all. See the Frozen Pea Pic, has frostbite! That chicken dish, ZERO Flavor! Everything truly was BLAND & cooked from FROZEN! Lesson Learned. We ordered a Dinner for 2 plus the Lemon Chicken and 2 Extra Spring Rolls. Which were garbage. They supplied two little containers with something for a sauce, we assumed it was for the chicken balls, but it was not sweet and sour sauce. Spent $40 and threw out 3/4's of the stuff (refuse to call it food). Oh and the smell, almost forgot to mention that... it has to be sesame seed oil. They bathe everything in it... it is NOT a seasoning or flavor! It's gross when its all you can taste or smell on the rice.
Probably the best Chinese food in niagara! Highly recommended! Read many great reviews on here, so decided to give it try. Wasn't disappointed. Only thing I was confused by was I thought chow mein was noodles. Might of been my own misunderstanding. But definitely would suggest trying them out. I know I will be back. Heard their beef is really good. Next on my list. I had the sweet and sour chicken with chicken chow Mein combo for 1.
This was the best Chinese food I've had in St Catharines. I tried many of the higher rated ones, and found them to be over priced and bland. Not this, everything we had was delicious - lots of meat, large portions, and reasonably priced. Their homemade sweet and sour is fantastic - not the red sticky super sweet stuff most places serve. Won ton soup is a 10/10.

This place has decent reviews on Uber so I ordered it. Quick delivery and hot food. Upon opening and looking at the food, it looked bland. Sure enough it was super bland. There was no seasoning in the food but the ingredients seemed fresh. I want to tell the owner stop being cheap and put some seasoning. Also, the general tao was soupy. I would not recommend if you are craving Chinese food... Unless you like bland taste.

Not good , not bad. Should be cheaper for what you get. Food doesn’t have much taste. Place is okay, not to clean. Service is what makes it get the 3 stars but because they charge you 3% More for using credit card - it takes it down to 2 stars.
No one else charges you anywhere 3% more for using credit card to pay.

Anyways, just go somewhere else. Don’t waste your time going here.

The fake reviews they have themselves are a little too obvious

Lucky to find this spot to Host a large group of friends during a long weekend at prime time in Niagara. The wait time was minimal. Service was good. A bit affordable with large portions.
The most amazing Chinese food we have had. Great quality and flavours. We had the sesame chicken and lo mein. Great prices and portions! Would definitely go back again while in Niagara Falls.
My daughter wanted me to try Far East Chinese Restaurant for a change from my usual Chinese Restaurant for takeout (Magnolia). I opted for chicken fried rice, a staple at most Chinese restaurants to keep it simple.

At first glance I noted there were only onions and chicken in the rice no carrots or peas. Different. I gave it a taste and I can say with all honesty it was the worst fried rice I’ve ever had. The rice tasted stale and over cooked. The consistency made the rice packable like a snowball. The finishing touch was the rancid after taste. After two spoonfuls I was done.

My daughter swears by Far East’s food and called them back to share her disappointment and ask for a refund. She was told that she would not get a refund, only another order of the fried rice we had just complained about. Good customer service could have perhaps involved a credit to try something else in the future. I would have given them another chance.

Based on this experience I do not recommend Far East for their food or customer service.

Had dinner at this place and since it was almost closing time we decided to order from the set menu. Each one of us ordered different dishes which were beef chopsuey, beef and pepper and chicken and broccoli. All the dishes included one spring roll, 3 chicken balls and chicken fried rice. We enjoyed the food, they were all  delicious. The fried chicken ball was lightly battered and there is more meat which was moist and tender. They have large portions and the price is reasonable.
I was surprised at the quality of the food, given the exterior looking more plain than some other restaurants. I usually go down the street to magnolia because it looks nice, but it was late so I tried this restaurant. Their udon noodle has a good amount of onions and the chicken was cooked well, juicy and not dry at all. Good amount of meat compared to other places. The hot and sour is decent quality as well, good amount of spices and flavor. I like that they're open until midnight as well. Highly recommended!
We ordered from Green Island and were pleased with the speed of service, especially considering that it was delivering from Niagara Falls to St. Catharines. The food was still hot when it arrived.

The deal was great. The amount of food you get for the price was just remarkable. For sure a great choice when ordering!

I adored the chicken balls and noodles. I would love to try this place out in person as I see they have a patio! Can't wait to update the review once I do.
