1. We ordered 12 pcs of chao fan a week ago. The delivery took 4 hrs. We made an effort to understand at that time, given the volume of order we had, but 4 hrs was still too long.
2. It took them 3 hrs to deliver the 2 pcs of halo halo that we ordered yesterday. Both Icecream and ice had melted already.
3. Despite my repeated calls to customer support, they just told me that they will report the issue to the branch. I have not received any calls from them yet. Pretty poor service.

Too much time for the order! we ordered at 11:30am for 4 bulalo and they told us it will take 20mins, and 20mins past still not ready and we told them to deliver it to our villa near mushrif mall, and it's already 1:30pm and still not yet ready!!!! Worst Service for a fast food Restaurant!!!!!!

Very good food for the price that you can’t even imagine. It is restaurant for locals at the most, I think. That is the reason that the price is more than affordable for everybody.

Local cuisine, special taste and the kindness of special waiter convinced me for sure. Coming back as soon as there will be a possibility.

One of the best restaurants in the tourist club. This shop has been from 1980's.
Tried porotta, fish curry, chicken curry and kappa beef.

The best porotta ever. It's layered and crisp.
Fish curry is heaven and nice texture.
Chicken curry was normal.

Kappa beef steals the show with perfect flavor and garnish with onion chops. It was superb.

Sulaimani was made from boiling dicotion. It makes a better aroma and texture of tea powder. (Better than the tea bag ones.)

Have more seats at ground floor and upstairs too.

Pocket friendly and tasty dishes are their specialties. I have been a regular/ random customer of this restaurant for around 7 years. After renovation the sitting arrangements had been made better. The attenders never fails to wear a smile and they do make you feel at home.

Bad experience, half fully dish for 39 dirhams, this meal will not acceptable even for one kid

We had their specialties: Beef Kappa Biriyani and Chicken Chatti Porotta for dinner. Also tried their vegetable samosa and fresh milk chai. Very good food, very clean place, and good service for a reasonable price. We will come back again.

Good place good food. The place was clean and tidy, staff were humble and helpful, tasty food and recommended whose want to try Asian food.

Been a fan of mandarin oak dishes for a while. Love their fried rice and recently tried momos, so flavorful and melt in mouth. It comes with chilli oil as dip which is quite spicy.

Tried the chicken lollipop as well. Equally tasty though momos has become our favourite.

I had ordered beef mandi.. The mandi rice was flavour full and yummy. I can give 4/5 but the beef came along with the mandi was not cooked well and its chewy....

So before ordering check with the staff whether beef is well cooked or not..

The host management is well engaged in running the place making sure each visitor is well cared for. Food is abundance yet the idea of charging for wasting food is a brilliant one. Food is tasteful the experience is worth it. Qian Zhou is always on my stop list every time I visit Abu Dhabi and I am glad they now have a branch in Dubai. When you visit for a hotpot,be prepared for a steamy room but fresh food vibes, enjoy!

I got a WhatsApp message saying to order from their website. And I normally don’t go for that trust me, but yesterday I kinda did.
I placed an order at 8:30 or before, our money was deducted and it was showing being prepared in kitchen. And showed 40 mins to delivery.
We kept waiting waiting waiting, an hour passed and we called them.
Apparently they was some technical error and they didn’t get our order. We had to wait another 40 mins to receive it. By that time, I wished I cooked at home to be honest. I never regretted ordering from outside this bad.
And on top of that, we ordered chicken Manchow soup which they didn’t give instead they gave mango juice. Didn’t even have the courtesy to call and inform.
Their food is amazing, I absolutely love it. But this service experience made me feel really bad.

We have been eating at this plc for over a decade. The food is really good.... Ambience quiet n calm. It used to b a pocket friendly place until recently they hv made significant changes to portion and increased prices too.

Tried Tom yum which was really delicious, Asian Platter is a must try. Spicy chefs fried rice was one of my favorite.

Worst experience in Abu Dhabi. The food taste is very bad. We ardered salt and paper fish Malaysian chicken and hakka noodles. None of the item is good. They even don't care about our complaint and did not comment of our complaints.

A go to place in the neighbourhood for authentic Chinese and Mongolian food.

The restaurant never fails us in the taste and service. The portions are also generous and can be shared by two to three restaurants people.

Love their Dragon chicken and sezhwan noodles, whatever we order these are a must each time.

The seating is bit cramped due to small space but managed with partitions.

Ordered food at 8:50pm via talabat on a weekday. No news of the delivery even after an hour. Called the restaurant up only to receive excuses. When I almost gave up hope. I finally received cold food at 10:20. No apologies from the restaurant and absolutely no way to contact customer service on Talabat. This is the last time I will be ordering. Do not accept orders if u cannot cater to it.

Its like a hidden gem ❤️. Their food is just amazing 👏. They have very limited seating space but for me it was very nice and cozy. Its a very small restaurant. The dynamite shrimp we tried was not very great. But their fried rice and fried ice cream brownie was super delicious. 👌 they also give complimentary chips.

Extremely rude staff & poor customer service. They have no value for your experience, all they care about is the bill. I had the worst expression there while having a dinner with my family & this has not happened for the first time. They need to train their staff to value their customers rather then pulling faces and acting agitated while taking the orders & payments. They always find some way or other to destroy your experience. I would never visit them again and don’t recommend anyone to visit their muroor branch if they don’t want to walk in happy and leave upset.

I went to this restaurant a while ago, food was amazing and price was good. However I did not feel like there was any service, or any person which you could ask for help. The lady and the other person available were grumpy and seemed very inapproachable, and was grumpy when dealing with us. They also spoke Chinese to each other and pretended that we werent there? very weird experience. Loved the food however I dont think I will visit again due to the service.

We tried chicken noodles with chicken Manchurian - the taste was delicious 😋. Thai chicken curry - wasn't a proper Thai curry, should have been more green and the taste is different.

The restaurant wasn't busy at the time of our visit.

Great food. Found parking easily. Staff is very polite. The chicken dumplings were very nice. The butter garlic prawns were average. The Kawloon fried rice was very tasty. The lemon chicken was bad. Prices were also fine. Should definitely visit.

I usually come here for the great food they offer and one of the best things they were doing is their homemade dumplings, but unfortunately I don't know what happened and they just changed their original way of doing their dumplings 😔. It was always my first option either dine in or delivery but not anymore, hope they recover though.

Oh, wow, we were impressed how fast our order was ready. The food is really delicious. Was a bit disappointed with sweetNsour chicken, because it’s my favorite dish is asian cuisine. I wish the chef could make it better. The prices are not high at all. You will be surprised. The place is obviously not new but it’s clean. There were many customers, families when we were dining there. Another small disappointment is that they have a break during the day, so when we came back another day the restaurant was closed. It’s a bit weird. But in summary, I would totally recommend this restaurant. Good prices, good food, clean place.

Great restaurant with foods with a different taste which you will definitely like. Service is good. Prices are above average but the quality and quantity of the food is really good. Good for two or more people. Check out the real images. Everything had a little different taste than what we get from kawloon. We will try other dishes again. Great and recommended.

This restaurant is a city centre hidden treasure. It's shiny clean, and well decorated in classic Chinese style. However, you will find it in old cinema building on Najda Street. The building itself looks scary as escalators do not work, and everything around is missing the cleaning.
Well, the restaurant offers only 2 options: Hot Pot - 50 aed all you can eat and Barbecue and Hot Pot for 69 aed. For both options, the choice of foods is endless: you have display of all possible greens, root vegetables, fungus, seaweeds, mushrooms, tofu, fish slices, shrimps, and another freezer with meat slices and fish/crab balls. For the barbecue, there is a separate display of marinated meats and chicken.
Inside the restaurant, you will find separate shelves with all kinds of Chinese sauces, chillies, condiments, confitures, crashed nuts, ext.and also, a range of sides like cooked veggies, fried noodles, and rice together with shrimps and spring rolls. Those are for limitless use. Everything is for self-service.
Staff is good. However, it looks like they are a few and busy. It would be good to have a bit more attention.
Restaurant accepts only cash.

The worst soup I ever had in UAE. I told the staff about it but they told every time they serve like that only. The staff didn’t bother to serve us in any means. They just left plates and food on table and disappeared. American chopsuey and Fried Rice was good. If you expect good food, ambiance and service please avoid this place.

One of the Best Chinese Restaurant I have been to. Ordered full chicken chops (star of the meal), crispy beef with spicy vinegar dip, calamari, fried vegetable rice and chinese noodles.

We went as a family of 6persons. The food serving was fair enough. Even you are full you can’t stopped eating because of its goodness. Also, staffs were very supportive with customer needs. Definitely, we’ll go back again to the restaurant and bring more friends.

Mix Shanghai noodles has been my favorite both the times. Apart from that the Dragon Chiken was fine. Had tried a chicken sizzler which was also average.

Tried Oyster sauce noodles which was below average.

Schezwan noodles also was average.

The show stopper was Shangai Noodles.

Would certainly go back for the Shanghai Noodles

I read the post of this restaurant and was excited to try it out… however it was a terrible experience… ether the previous reviewers were being nice, or have never eaten good food before.. or traveled the world to various part of the world, especially China, Japan, or anywhere in south east Asia to understand what is great food and what is good Asian food.

I understand that tasting food is a personal experience, with different pallets and understanding of what is great food, service and presentation… You can have bad service, get away with bad presentation, but bad food is bad food..
Mongolian Restaurant was not for me… all three dishes were poorly presented, served randomly, for example my French fries were served as a starter, (entree) my mains were served later with my dumplings.
I ordered the sweet n sour fish, chicken chow main and beef noodle with mixed vegetables. The fish was overpowered by the sweet n sour source and I couldn’t taste the fish. The other two dishes tasted the same and overpowered with soya sauce and was too salty. The chicken and beef were chopped up so fine it was like eating mince. Vegetables were-broccoli and baby corn were the only two vegetables items I could find in my mix beef chow main.

Won’t be coming back…

Craving for some noodles so placed my order using the link for collection. It’s not actually a restaurant but a cloud kitchen. I ordered the takeaway Hakka Noodles and Chilli Chicken. Food comes neatly packaged. Noodles were in a cardboard container. Chilli oil. Kimchi. One small chocolate chip muffin. A complete meal. Will definitely be ordering again.

This is coming from someone who relishes Chinese food and with a history of eating out Indo-Chinese/Asian for more than 25+ years. I review eating joints, Indo-Chinese/Asian being my speciality.

Mandarin Oak truly deserves a shout-out!

These guys have far the best packaging I have found in the UAE in my experience.
The care they ensure in the presentation for their delivery orders surpasses anything I have seen. The food box is packed inside a paper container box with a handy description on how to use chopsticks, taped and secured from all ends to ensure no spillage, and the paper bag carrying this has a unique red tape with their branding to ensure no tampering is done while it's been delivered. All together an amazing experience.

About the food, again, fantastic taste with the right blend of spices and with the right balance of sauces. I have tried their chilly chicken and vegetable noodles a few times and had their Mandarin box 🍱 for myself and my family on many occasions.

Parting advice - It would be great to see some new options on their menu or create your own Mandarin box to be picked up by the customer as they place an order.

I am happy to rate them five stars in my delivery experience.

I visited the restaurant yesterday, they serve most of Chinese delicious foods, i tried the Manchow soup and Mix chowmien noodles..all of them are super tasty and fresh. Also, the prices are very reasonable. If you are very hungry you must try thier plates. I'm Very happy with this experience 😄

The place is nice and clean. The staff are accommodating. The price is reasonable. But the food especially the spring rolls and chicken lollopop is not delicious has lack of taste in the mouth when you eat and its still quite spicy even we told them not spicy for my kid to eat. But their lobster and chicken manchow soup are nice and delicious. Sorry to say its not recommendable for me to my friends and family.

We had a great time here. First, I really appreciate all the staffs how they welcome us.. Funny part is one staff recognized us because we are in TIKTOK.. she asked me "You're from Tiktok,right?" And I was flattered she recognizes our faces even with face mask. Anyway, I really love their hospitality and how they help us with our small baby.

It is a small and cozy place in front of KINGSGATE hotel. Well it is a good food but the person who will order should understand that the portion is huge. Me with my husband and 2 kids cannot finish it all.

Bathroom is a bit creepy and dirty. But over all it is fine. Different ambience.

Traditional Chinese hot pot. Located in Al Najda street opposite to Wear Mart and Red Tag. You can choose a hot pot, grill or both. There is a variety of vegetables and meat that you can take from the bar. There is also a small bar for fruits and sweets. The experience itself is nice.

My Favorite Crispy beef is available only in this restaurant and I love also their crispy duck. The taste remains amazing over the years...

Hot Plate is a small outlet located in Tourist club area opposite to Kings Gate hotel in Abu Dhabi.
The interior is cozy with bamboo, chinese picture frames and chinese lanterns which gives it a very chinese touch.
But the interesting fact why I like this place is because of it's wide spectrum of menu that offers not only chinese but also north Indian Mughlai cuisine ranging from kebabs, tandoori, curries, biryanis, rotis and much more.
They also have few Thai and Indonesian preparations.
The crunchy honey chicken covered in sesame seeds was a delight. The fresh strawberry juice was refreshing.
The chinese menu stretches from hot and spicy soups, appetizers, noodles, rice, sizzlers and so on.
The menu is so extensive that one visit is not enough.

Veg. Manchow soup
Nasi Goreng rice
Vegetables in Schezwan sauce
Fresh Strawberry juice
The staff is cordial and the dishes are worth the price.

Went for lunch. Cosy place ideal for long chat with friends over food. Its Indo-Chinese style of cooking and very nice to the Indian palate. The Hot Fire Fish and Fish Haka Noodles were both very flavourful and tasty. Did not order any drinks. Left satisfied as the meal was reasonably priced.

Beware of this branch. We Dine in at around 10:15am and waited for our foods to be serve freshly cooked. And when they serve it, I looks like that they just re-heat it. Texture of the noodle is hard and like a rubber, the rice seems reheated also. I complained to the store manager and seems like nothing happen. So we decided to just ask a refund and walk away.

What more if your food will be delivered at your home?

Very disappointing branch of Chowking. Try also ordering the Wanton noodles, and I can say that they are only good in advertising. The photos of their foods was the only thing that will capture your attention and you will be deceive after ordering it. Foods are expensive also.

Stay away on Chowking Mushrif Mall branch.

delicious Chinese food, tasty and not expensive at all. The atmosphere of the restaurant is ok and the location is not great. I think if they change there place to any good mall they will make a lot of money 💰. Will come back again and will recommend it for people who like Chinese food 🍱

Great value and good food. If you like hole in the wall dives this is the place. The ambiance is... well you can see in the pictures, and like all good Chinese’s restaurants there is a fish tank. The food is tasty and the wait staff nice and attentive. A great place for a quiet lunch.

The Varieties of Menu, Chinese themed ambience, and peaceful environment are take-aways from Oasis but rest has to be there for improvement. Staff is a bit casual since we didn’t get water at the first place but their eagerness to take order was surprising (lack of staff, it seemed). Lip smacking Manchurian dish and softness of noodles were worth enjoying. Varieties of juices and desserts are catchy. There is scope for plating but what they had served us wasn’t bad.

Whenever we visit Abu Dhabi we make sure we eat here. They hv evn renovated the place n it's very roomy and the buffet of sauces laid out is just gorgeous. It was our first time we had hot pot and since then we've fallen in love with this style of eating. We ensure we take our guests also here.

I love having to eat d rice with the sauce, the hot soup filled with veggies, meat n or seafood of our choices, dipping the veggies in d sauces n eating it.... yummmyyyy. A must visit and I assure you'll be hooked

Let's be honest, this is a bit of step down from many of the local restaurants but it really does have its charms. The food was actually really good. The service was attentive and courteous and the price speaks for itself. This is a cheap eat, but by no means a bad one. Other reviewers have commented on the bad smell but I must say I didn't noticed anything so hopefully it's been dealt with now. For a quick tasty meal for a family it's well worth the visit.
