Mr. Omar was attentive and his colleague suggested me to try Pomegranate mocktail, Chicken Tikka and Chiken Curry 🥘. Surprisingly all food items was delicious 😋, I really enjoyed eating it inside. Good place to eat with family and friends. P.S: Advance Reservation is important especially during peak hours.

One of the best restaurants in Doha, located in the heart of Msheireb Downtown with a lively outdoor seating area. Every dish on the beautifully crafted menu is a star, bursting with flavor. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding, and food is super consistent. Always on the list when inviting guests visiting Qatar for the first time.
Love at first bite. This place screams flavor. With every bite it will take you up and down like riding a wave. The snell, the colors, the texture is unreal.

The location is good and the service is more than wonderful, the employees were very respectful and friendly, especially the one who takes reservations, she was very helpful. The food was delicious and the drinks were perfect especially granda mint that Frances recommend for us
Visited the restaurant today 14/Nov/2023 for lunch. The crew team were helpful and nice. The food is below average to average. And the price is high when it comes to the portion size. The butter chicken comes with nan bread which i believe it would be better to come with white rice or having the choice to choose between the 2 options. The lamb biriyani is disappointing. The taste is below average and the lamb portion is little i even told the manager when he was asking me about my opinion and ended up giving me more lamb. The 3rd plate is Potato papdi chaat which was one of those plates to try once in your life time. I mean it is not bad but not great to order it again.

Worst food ever! Do Not order from here. Chef doesn't know how to cook. I ordered String hopper biriyani and that was the worst I had ever eaten. Was unbelievable spicy cooked in raw chilli powder and followed by diahorrea for 2 days. Also its drenched in oil. Absolutely avoid and never in my life again.

We had a Sea Food Shovel Rice it's 99 QAR not worth for the money
They advertise this portion for 4 personals Rice is Average and not enough prawns and fish for 4 people it worth only 50 QAR and Taste is Average.

Well on Restaurant cater all kind of Sri Lankan dishes. One of the top most Sri Lankan cuisine restaurant in Doha.
Haven’t dined in their place but, ordered and had their lump rice and chicken kottu. Delivered it on time. Lump rice was delicious and up to the mark. Kottu was also good. But, in kottu they have added chicken with bones when smashing it. So, chicken bones were crumbled and caused inconvenience while eating. Other than that, the taste was good. Less oily and neutral spiciness.
I would definitely go for their lump rice again.

I thought it’s worth the wait but disappointed as I only found chicken bones and hardly found 1-2 small gem sizes chicken pieces.
Not worth the money, would have bought the egg kottu as there is no difference.

I would like to recommend their hoppers, Chicken kottu as well as their rice and curry (curries differ everyday. They update it on their Facebook page. You can find it even before you get there)
Had a very worst experience during this Eid, Ordered talapakatti biriyani which is 80 Qar 1/2 Sahan. Taste and the quality of the food was worst than I had ever in my entire Doha life: They didn’t even provide the main item mentioned in the menu (beef), when I called the restaurant to ask about it, they told me to adjust it. They spoiled my Entire Eid Day. Won’t recommend to visit here.

"I went to this restaurant today and was very disappointed with my experience." The employees appeared uninterested and unengaged, and it was obvious that they were not interested in delivering a positive client experience. When we tried to enter about 12.45am, one of the employees ran to the door and shut it in our faces. "I would never recommend this restaurant to a friend."
I just ordered kanduri rice meal which suppose to come with masisambol beef, chicken,dhall,and a cashew Curry and when I resived my order there was only dhall ,neggplant and beef I tried to call them and they were not responding at all the worst service and the food I ever saw in my life kindly requesting you guys when someone pays and order from you guys make sure you delver the same what the customer order. Not fresh at all.

My best spot for tea for many years. I love their anchor milk tea and samosas. Regular Sri Lankan restaurant with their tasty cuisine. Located just along one street to C ring road, it’s always crowded in evenings and weekends. Their beef Kothu is my favourite and yummy. Rating 3/5

Worst Restaurant Experience: Insect-infested Food, Terrible Hospitality, and Unprofessional Staff
I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at a restaurant that left me utterly disgusted and deeply disappointed feel compelled to share my review to warn others about the dismal quality of both the food and the service.
When my order finally arrived, we noticed while eating discover a fried insect nestled amidst the lampraise. The revolting sight was enough to make me lose my appetite entirely. I immediately called over the waiter to bring this to their attention, expecting an apology and a replacement dish. However, the response I received was far from satisfactory. Instead of showing genuine concern or offering an apology, the waiter seemed more inconvenienced by my complaint. They simply shrugged it off, as if finding insects in one's food was an ordinary occurrence.
As if the insect-infested dish wasn't bad enough, the overall hospitality and professionalism of the staff further exacerbated my dissatisfaction. Throughout the entire ordeal, the staff displayed an astonishing lack of empathy, as if my disgust and dissatisfaction were unwarranted. The waiters were inattentive, and it was a challenge to flag one down for even the simplest request. It became apparent that the restaurant prioritized rushing customers in and out rather than providing a pleasant dining experience.
It is disheartening to see such a lack of care and attention to detail in a supposed dining establishment. A restaurant should be a place where customers can relax, enjoy their meals, and feel valued. Unfortunately, this particular establishment failed on all accounts. The insect in my food was not only unappetizing but also a clear indication of the lack of hygiene and quality control in the kitchen.
I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant. The unprofessional staff, appalling hospitality, and insect-infested food make it an establishment that deserves to be avoided at all costs.

One of the finest srilankan cuisine in Doha. I’ve been to other branches but the one in Barwa commercial avenue is my favourite. Their Kothu and Nasi Korang is tasty and delicious. Their idiyappam, pol roti, sambal and sodhi are excellent combination. Parking is available in plenty. Ambience is good and seating is available for family as well.

Undoubtedly, the food is good. However, if you are placing an order for ten people, it is advisable to double the quantity. The amount they deliver is usually very small and may not be sufficient for ten people as you might expect. Also, if you want to receive your lunch at 12:00 noon, make sure to place the order at 6:00 am and follow up with 10 to 20 calls to ensure it is on track.

One of my go-to restaurant as they have lots of veggie options and everyday they keep changing their menu. They have chicken and meat as well. Always special and flavorful tasting food!

I recently visited Lanka restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The service was slow and disorganized, with staff members seeming to lack clear communication and direction. The food itself was also below average - my dish was overcooked and lacked flavor, while my companion's meal was cold and unappetizing.

I tried the Lankan famous rice and Curry 🍛. The taste was good. But they can still improve the hygiene, quality and taste of foods.

The most busiest tea shop I have ever seen here in Doha. The shop size is so small but the tea taste is amazing. We travel 6 km to have CHAI there. Best tea. Must try.

Had requested for kidurice, and they delivered biriyani rice. If an item is no more available have the curtesy advise the customer to opt for a different item from the menu. And this was not the first time they are ignoring requested item.
Basically i do like Pakistani food but very nice taste and very economical and the difference is a little bit more spicy than others lankan hotel. But a healthy balanced meal for specially asian people who are use to eat spicy food. With all that love to have tea from any lankan hotel..❤️

Even though you have only beef, when I called for refund, your representative asked for me to replace my order with chicken pol roti, kindly send me the footage of our conversation to prove that she mentioned only you have beef. actually I wanted to order chicken pol roti Kothu upon my friend’s suggestion. Last but not least the person came to refund the money was so rude, I recommend you to train your staff, how to behave with customers. This type of staff leads you to lose of customers.

I remember I was criticizing the restaurant before because of their operations. But now it's really good. I would like to give a big thumbs up for their open to criticism and they change alot of things according to the customers comments. Now their food is really good and better than the new Lankan restaurant. Specially the chai 10 times better than new Lankan restaurant. I hope they rent a bigger space with dine in facilities soon.
If u're a foodie of country taste dishes of Sri lanka. you should have a try in this restaurant (especially lamprais). very delicious. i will blindly tell that the prices are fair. the remarkable thing is that the lamprais without AJI-NO-MOTO is incredibly delicious. I was able to feel the cooking and taste of my Sinhalese friend’s mother.

Very poor service, we pre-ordered Sahan for Eid festival by paying full amount in Advance, but once we came to take sahan on Eid day, they informed us will provide sahan within 5mins. We waited more than 45 until 2.20pm. Very bad service & not recommended & waste ur time.

Once upon this place was one of the best sri lankan restaurants in Doha, for its tasty food and service. many cars were lined up and waited for the tea all along the road. Nowadays, the taste is faded, and a long line of cars has dissapered, and the service of the server is reckless 😳😳😳.
This place is open all day. And the taste of the Dosas and other dishes pretty much remain the same. Suggested options would be to try breakfast though.

This Srilankan Restaurent is one of the best place among others in same category, they have huge space and well designed dining area, most of the time their food is great but it is inconsistent, this can be one of the best Authentic Srilankan Restaurant if they put more effort

We went there with my friends. We are a total of 8 people and each, at the end of the meal, were all full for they also gave us free food such as french fries. We only spent 50 QAR overall. The service is great and all the people there are very kind. Would recommend.
