SALAMATH RESTAURANT - OLD AIRPORT

The staff were taking the orders at the last moment of ifthar (breaking the fast) time and served the take-away order immediately. The Short eats were delicious as expected.

I usually buy lunch on Fridays (Chicken and Mutton Biryani) from this restaurant. Nowadays, their food portions have been reduced, but the taste remains the same.

Excellent location to try authentic Sri Lankan food. Their lump Rice 🍚 is amazing cooked every alternative day .A must try if you are nearby.
Not family friendly but definitely good location for friends dinner.

Tried eastern special “Tapioca fried” (கிழங்கு), served with gravy of brinjal 🍆 “. Quality zero level. Paid 15 for nothing.

This is one of the weakness of the Sri to Lankan restaurant. Usually not maintain the taste. Act as per wish

I’m coming here every day for more than one month now. Everybody is very friendly, dishes are delicious and quick, prices very reasonable and service very helpful! Highly recommend!

I went for dinner and asked for a Nasi Goreng but the waiter heard something else I guess he asked me if I needed beef or chicken. I got a beef set rice with sausages. It was pretty good and tasty. The sides were freshly made but the rice was pre prepared I think. It was colder than rest of the dish but it was tasty and filling for 18QAR. Will go back to check other dishes soon.

Overall, okay. We tried Rottikothu, Idyapa kothu & Fried Rice. Family room is in upstairs. Serving Srilankan food but not offering full portion like country. Strict on serving single portions only. Reasonable price.
