Nothing tastes better than the authenticity of Mexican food in the Mission of San Francisco. The people, the atmosphere and the food feel wonderful and special.

The best tacos I have ever had! Their Super Taco is out of this world! I love the veggie options. It wasn't crowded. It was clean and everyone was friendly! I am so glad it was recommended to me. I will definitely be coming again whenever I am in the City.

Once I found out that the founder of Chipotle was inspired by the Taquerias in San Francisco’s Mission District, I knew I had to go and try one… and I’m really glad I did!

This no-frills place serves some of the best tacos and burritos I’ve had in a while. In particular, the Carne Asada Tacos ($4.50 each) were amazing, the meat was super flavorful and tender, and the portion size for each individual taco was huge (so much meat!). Inside, the vibes are super laid-back, and the service is quick and friendly. This place is perfect for a chill night out with friends or family to grab some tacos. I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Mission District!

I loved the burritos here! Ordered the special burrito mojado (wet burrito), which was really good and served in a big portion. Orders come with a side of very good tortilla chips, which I appreciated.
Service is fast and prices are reasonable.

Great place to grab a quick bite. Food is very tasty and the burrito mojado is a decadent treat.

This is what Qdoba and Chipotle want to be. Carne Asada burrito. Simple yet delicious. Took a few bites at my car, rolled it back up and threw it in my book bag and e joyed it throughout the day hiking around San Francisco. Came with a little bag of chips, green and red salsa, that were both amazing. Washed it down with a Tamarind Jarritos and this was the perfect Mission District burrito experience!

My taste buds must had changed, I used to loved La Taqueria but today I found my burrito to be too salty, the meats flavor didn’t jump out. Also my burrito feel smaller than I remembered.

The folk that work there are still friendly and right on top of everything, including clean tables were always available.

The experience and service were overall good but the food was mediocre. I went there on a Sunday morning around 11:45, and there was no line to get in. I got two carnitas tacos, and upon ordering, they told me the tacos came with beans and Pico. I said it was ok thinking they'd be on the side. Speaking as a Mexican from Mexico city that grew up in Socal, I was unimpressed by a few things. First, I don't think their tortillas are fresh. It seems that they use prepackaged tortillas from the grocery store. On top of that, the tortillas were slightly cold. Secondly, they put beans and pico de gallon IN the taco, but give no limes, cilantro or onions (I didn't ask, but also didn't see them anywhere). The meat was already dry, and the beans just made the taco drier. It didn't make sense to me that they would even think to put the beans in the tacos. The Pico was just ok, and the salsa was not very flavorful. Overall I was disappointed with the food, and I did not think it was worth 10 dollars plus tip. I don't think this restaurant deserves the hype it gets. I haven't tried the burritos, and I'm thinking that's probably what people regularly order, but I think that if a restaurant has a 4.6 on Google, I can reasonably expect all of its food to be a 4.6, not just one item.

Best burrito in San Francisco. No rice inside - but incredibly delicious comfort food. Remember to get it toasted!

Best in San Francisco. Fresh ingredients and nice size portions. Order and pay at the door. Dine at handcrafted leather stools and wood tables.

The burritos were unbelievable!

My group had super prawn burrito, super burrito with beef, and beef tacos. The food was very authentic and absolutely delicious!

Having come from the UK where Mexican food is average at best. This was my first real taste of a proper burrito, and boy did it deliver!!

There wasn’t an obvious vegetarian option but the prawn burrito was good for a pescatarian.

Forgot to photo the food as I was so hungry!

Solid burritos and chip+salsa. Loved the salsa verde on the table too. Very fresh guac! Came on a Sunday at noon and was seated within 10min.

Would recommend calling in ahead and just picking up if it’s a very busy time (lunch for example).

These are my fav tacos in SF so far, but the super tacos are about $9 each. So I only go there every once in a while.

There’s always a line, especially on the weekends. It is self serve, but the staff are great and check to make sure you are all good. The only problem is that if you have to go back to the cashier if you want to order something else, but it saved me money because I didn’t want to bother and it prevented me from over eating.

You definitely have to go super or go home! The tacos are a good size. My only critique is that the steak taco should be fresh and hot for these prices. Also the taco dorado is not fried, it’s just dipped in the grease. That’s why I’m giving them a 4 out of 5.

However, the tacos are good overall and definitely need to stop by and check it out.
