Did you know first Friday of each month is free entrance for everyone? That’s a great deal if you come with a family group like we did. Thank you Cranbrook!

For a small local institute of science, Cranbrook is amazing specifically for young children, our kids love the dinosaur section, the hands on mechanism section where you can interact with exhibits. Since you are here drive around and explore the grounds, so much to see.

TSA line is not clearly visible, it took us a little while to find it. The airport is fairly large to get from one terminal to another, actually you need to catch a skyway train.

There are plenty of fast food and bars around to kill time.

We specifically like the milk butter bread and the coconut pineapple cake, so light yet delicious.

Thank goodness we came on a cooler cloudy day to enjoy this peaceful garden.

All the volunteers are so welcoming and helpful here, from the gate greeters to the free tour guide. They are enthusiastic as well as informative, we learned how Lady Bird Johnson had the vision and gathered support for this beautiful garden.

Make sure to go up to the tower to look over the whole garden, it’s a very short walk up.

This is one of the cleanest and well decorated Chinatown I have ever seen. If you can come at night when it’s cooler and the street lights make it ever prettier than the mid day sun.

At night check out all the outdoor restaurants and bars. It’s so lively and full of energy.

Also there are so many souvenir shop too, but no the architecture are not authentic, this is the Disney version for the tourists 🤣
