I hope I could give this building 0 stars.
Everything started week after I moved here. 1. Neighbors were cooking something very smelly all the time, so you simply can not enjoy your balcony.
2. Elevators most of the time are not working, so it is possible to stuck in the queue.
3. There is a possibility to get a penalty for forgetting your keys inside the apartment.
4. COCKROACHES. Loooots and lots of cockroaches. As a man myself I tried to fight with them, closed some holes behind the stove, in the kitchen, in the bathroom. Didn't help. Management called a pest control, but it didn't help, and they only can ca them on tuesdays, so if you ask for it on monday, they will come only 8 days after. The poison didn't help at all, the infestation was too deep. During 2-3 months I killed over 300!!! cockroaches in sooo many different places.

Overall, I would not suggest renting here, it might be a little cheaper then other rentals, but trust me, you don't want it. Unless you don't care about living comfortably in a clean building with proper neighbours and without cockroaches. In that case, ok, rent here.
I could've include trillions of picture of cockroaches, but it is not very ethical.

The worst apartment to rent. The management doesn't care of any problems. Never rent here and if you did would regret later for sure. The management just sits and gives irresponsible answers when asked on the ETA of any problems. Always there is a fire hazard and plumbing issues every month where they don't give notice and break something and take a whole day and more than that to fix it. Better to rent somewhere than to be in this worst place.

My in-laws recently stayed here for a month and had a terrible experience overall. This property is overpriced and I don't believe this provides value for the money they charge. First and foremost, the furniture is really old and the second bedroom (with 2 smaller beds) has a terrible mattresses. The in-suite dryer was not in a working condition throughout their month-long stay and they offered to replace a week before my parents-in-law were supposed to leave. The balcony was closed off for almost half their stay due to some repair-work in the building but this was never communicated to us at the time of making the reservations.

Overall, a huge disappointment and I would not recommend this property to anybody who is planning to stay here for a longer period.

I found these apartments the best for my family.
Sheppard Shopping Centre is just below the apartments and Line 1 is accessible directly from here. No need to step out of the building for anything.
Apartments are also quite spacious and convinient.

I have been living in this building since 2021. The building and Sheppard Centre Mall have many security guards 24/7. The parking will be added to the rent for more convenience to park the car, but my car has been targeted to break in. My front passenger door was smashed and someone was looking for cash or a valuable item after I parked my car to go home. The surveillance cameras are only demo. The parking management, landlord and property management do not get any responsibility about this incident or any other possible criminal activity to make sure the area is safe and secure for anyone that it does not look fair when the people pay for parking spot.

My mother has lived at this apartment building since July. She pays 2800 for an apartment that has no lighting in bedrooms, a cockroach infestation and an incompetent/rude management and security team. She is paying for an apartment that has concierge security but ignores her complaints and yells at her when she demands that someone look into her concerns.

Today her laundry basket was stolen from the laundry room. We asked nicely for management to get security to look at the footage to see who did it and gave them a time frame. I came back down an hour later to speak to the little man at security who is actually one of the management people. He told me there were absolutely no laundry baskets in the laundry room (lol?) and that he didnt even see my mother enter or leave the laundry room. Thats funny because how could they not see her when she was literally doing her laundry? We had management LIE to us because they didnt want to help us. His helpful response was

"this is not my job, call the police if you want!"

On top of that my mother has been dealing with obnoxious banging from the people living above her for at least 3 months and management and security again does NOTHING.

Move here if you want to lose your hair due to constant stress and if you do end up moving here avoid the little tiny man with anger issues, do NOT ask him for any help as he does not want to help anyone.

Terrible management. The superintendent is too arrogant and threatens the residents. There are cockroaches everywhere. The pest control company contracted by the management is a joke. They spray the entire apartment in 1.5 mins (because the guy says he has to spray 90 apartments in a day in the same building). The spray doesnt work even for a day. It does nothing to the cockroaches. While other buildings have moved on to more effective gel based systems, Tandem properties choose to employ the cheapest pest control company.

If I light up the kitchen at night, I see more than 50 cockroaches scatter around. Its depressing to stay here.

Very convenient as far as location goes, connected to the subway and supermarket and close to pretty much everything. The condo has lots of fire alarms though, I had one at 6:00 in the morning and 12:30 midnight, last for 10a of minutes each time. Premiere Suites itself is not too bad, but when we moved in lots of things that seem good are in fact borderline falling apart. We had to get them to come in and fix a bunch of stuff. Linens are clean and housekeeping, though not quite punctual, at least did a decent job.

This review is long overdue. The agents were very professional, efficient, and prompt in providing assistence. The residence was comfortable, clean and equipped with the necessary things we could have needed. Location is key and this place has it all. Thank you!

Great, very helpful and friendly staff. The convenience is outstanding.
But it's pretty noisy, even at night. Sometimes there's construction going on at night and it certainly can be heard and felt. The upper floors probably don't get all that noise though.
Also, they put up emergency lights around my apartment and it's bright as day during the night, which affects the quality of sleep.
Basically, if you want to enjoy your apartment, live on higher floors.

Decent food.

Suite had great view, work out facility, and Guest Services was very responsive! The beds and linens were really comfy. I will be back:)

Never Again!!!

I booked this place for 1 week hoping to get a peaceful stay during my business travel. However, things went terribly bad.The place was clean and had a good view but during our stay we found that the furniture was extremely old and on the verge of breaking down, infact our bed was very squeaky and it was difficult to get a sound sleep.
I want to especially name Doriana who was managing this property. This person is extremely rude and disrespectful. I had called their office to extend my trip by one day and was told that I will be charged 130$ since I was already staying there. Next day they charged me 210$, when I called them to clarify she told me that they did not provide any such information.
Being her client for 1 week she said to me that Im lying.. Which was so disrespectful of her. If i can afford to stay for a week then it doesn't really matter if the price is 210 or 170. The thing that bothered me is that they lied to their customers to make them stay longer and told them otherwise. And she also said that since my company is paying for this then why I'm I bothering so much. Which is totally ridiculous, she needs to be truthful to her clients.

I would like to say to anyone who is thinking about booking any residences through MAC suites.. After my experience with them do not even consider booking this place. They will overcharge u and would blame it on you. That's how they make money!

And a message to Doriana - Kindly learn some hospitality skills! You are in this business only by fooling innocent ppl and making money off their organizations.

The management of the Sheppard Centre Apartments by Axes Investment is the worst you would ever encounter. Of the 3 buildings, 2, 4, & 6 Forest Laneway, 4 Forest Laneway building gets all the preferential treatment and the latest technology. The other tenants at 2 and 6 Forest Laneway are forced to reside in sub-standard conditions and charged sky-rocketed rent. Water is turned off in the building for an entire day from 5am or before that and the management of the building at 2 Forest Laneway chose to take the day off rather than be available to answer questions from tenants who were forced to lose a day of work or school due to no water at all in the building. The coin machine to load funds to the laundry card is often out of service leaving tenants again to be inconvenienced with no alternative arrangements made. The building management is certain to be present in office on the 1st of every month to collect rent cheques, but doesn't give a hoot about the numerous malfunctions of the premises and the inconvenience suffered by the paying tenants. I would like to see the Landlord and Tenants Association or what ever their correct name is together with the Better Business Bureau take some sort of action against Axes Investment and their management on the mediocre managing of these 2 buildings at 2 & 6 Forest Laneway and ensure the tenants received deserving living conditions for the high rent they pay.
