You pay a premium for the location, which we knew in advance having eaten in the area in the past.

We arrived late, but were given a table. It would have been better if they'd turned us away, because it was quickly apparent that the staff had been wanting to go home. They then spent the evening making their feelings about this very apparent, which ruined what would have otherwise been a special occasion.

Are the staff not paid enough, or asked to work too long? Who knows. Either way, it's bad business. We won't ever go back. Worst place we ate in 2 weeks at Cascais.

09/2024: Great table side view of the ocean. Hats off to the chef for the delicious octopus entree which was served hot with potatoes and two types of olives. Kids pizza was shaped like Mickey Mouse, nice touch for the kids. The Burrata and tomatoes tossed in pesto was also delicious.
Minus one star for serving a bottle of red wine that was very warm. Enjoy!

It started badly and despite efforts to redeem the situation, it ended badly. We arrived very late and could tell staff were exhausted and just wanted to close up and go home- all very understandable (we were also tired and hungry and wanted a quick turn around). We appreciated them taking us in and serving food quickly. Great wine, good food (Diablo pizza excellent) but that didn't make up for the bad vibes unfortunately. We felt very unwelcome and couldn't wait to leave. The seething resentment from *one of the waiters was awful. We gave a big tip at the end to show our gratitude and we're shocked when *the waiter swooped in, snatched it from the table without a word of thanks. We left disgusted and my partner and I agreed it was the worst customer service we have had in all our years visiting Cascais. We vowed never to return. There are plenty of other places serving equally good food, if not better, without the poor attitude coming from the staff (one in particular).

Tolle Aussicht, aber das wars. Das Essen ist super einfach und das Geld nicht wert. Die Portionen sehr klein. Die Muscheln in den Spagetti abgezählt. Als ich sagte das sind aber wenig hieß es der Chef hat das so festgelegt. Das Geld hätte ich mir gerne gespart

Wir haben hervorragend gegessen, bei erstklassigem Service und wunderschöner Aussicht. Die Tagliata war sehr gut, ebenso die Pizza. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!

Slowest service ever. Staff nice but very slow. Took over an hour to deliver the bread, and another hour to deliver the first course. Manager kept apologizing but it seems it’s a common issue. Returned the tiger shrimps twice since it was served uncooked.
The first plate was horrible, risotto with shrimps and lemon. Shrimps again was uncooked and the rice had no taste. Second plate was nothing to be even mention. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Horrible experience.

The view is magnificent! The Carpaccio was really testy, and the pizza was good. The garlic bread wasn't really good. The garlic was too much, and the test was bitter. The staff was very nice and friendly!

Extremely bad experience. We waited a little bit less than 2 hours for the food. Every time we asked , they were answering that food will be ready in 5 minutes. Kids were falling asleep. To complete all that , they did even add dishes on the bill ( things that we did not order ). Complete mess and definitely not worth trying it

We had an absolutely incredible experience at Gusto. The service was tremendous, attentive waitstaff who went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and looked after. The food was delicious (vegetarian & ‘gusto’ pizzas) and the tiramisu lovely. An amazing view topped it off!

I was there last week for dinner and had the most amazing food. The bread basket was all freshly made and still warm from the oven. Everything was so fresh and tasty. The cocktail’s were delicious and the staff incredibly professional. We were so impressed. We were the only people in the restaurant because on that particular evening there was an event on in another room. It was lacking a bit of atmosphere but that could not be helped. A must if you’re into Italian food !

The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the service is terrible. We waited 10 minutes for a waiter to notice our empty wine glasses and pour wine from ordered bottle. It also took 10 minutes to get the menu, and when I paid the bill I never received my change, which is illegal. Despite the great food, the poor service makes me hesitant to return. I hope the management addresses these issues.

I think we got the staff on a bad day, so my review about the service may be a bit biased. The service was quite slow. It took a long time for us to even get the menu. Fortunately, we were not in a hurry, so it didn't bother me much. And the view from the tables on the balcony is stunning, so we could just relax and contemplate it.

Regarding the food, I would say it was okay—not worth the price, though. My Nero di Seppia had too much squid ink, which overwhelmed the dish's flavor. Also, the octopus in the pasta was undercooked. I could not eat it.

The staff, while busy, was friendly.

Nice Italian restaurant inside the Italia hotel. They have outdoor balcony when the weather is better. We sat inside on a large table. The Italian chianti wine was good. The milanese was excellent. The beef carpaccio was medium. Burrata was good. Great coffee and service was pretty good.

Absolutely divine. I loved it.

Great menu advice and wine selection. Our dishes were works of art, a feast for the eyes and mouth. Gorgeous plating, amazing flavours, great view with an absolutely delicious playlist in the background. Best tiramisù in an Italian Restaurant, ever.

The restaurant has a room with AC and a terrace for those who want to be outside.
The view is pretty and the ambiance is kind of fancy.
Prices are a bit high though. You might count 20€ minimum per person
