Reviews

We sat there and then started reading through the reviews. Must say that we got scared but overall experience didn’t turn out to be bad. We ordered only one dish and it was nice.
Nice, rustic interior filled with paintings from a local artist, great atmosphere and the friendly waiters enhance it. Big portions at a modest price. Great value. The complimentary limoncello was a nice touch.

BEST in Minori. Period. Been here in 2017, 2019, 2023 - still best place to eat. Everything perfect, from people who serve, to food. Thank you!
Silver wedding celebration with husband. Really pleased we walked into this restaurant as we had no reservation. The restaurant is delightful and the food excellent. Scallops followed by tuna and it goes without saying tiramisu and a bottle of wine recommended by our waiter. The whole experience was worth every penny or euro.

Oh where do I start my terrible experience here... first, we had to wait for our food 55 minutes and when it finally came it was well below average... when you look at photos the portions seem big but there is so much cream and unneceassary pieces of lemon crust that you will end up being hungry; it's very deceiving
So the food is bad but the service is even worse; it's so slow, they're uncoordinated, they lack communication and they keep forgetting things you politely request them...all in all the staff is really unproffesional
At the end of our meal each of us got a limoncello shot that we didn't ask for and the bill somehow went 4 euros up...
Awful experience and I would recommend anyone to avoid this place
so chic. fancy restaurant with good food. we went there for a birthday date and it was just right, beautiful place for fine celebrations. really tasty food, especially gnocchi was different and delicious. well grilled octopus. amazing tiramisu. expensive but good quality.

This place is what Italy is all about!!! We came her twice during our stay to Minori! It’s just a son serving while his mother is the chef, that’s it! We felt so at home here and they were nothing but kind to our little family. The chef even gave our little toddler a sweatshirt to keep because it was getting chilly! What a wonderful family.
And of course the food!!!! I got the lemon pasta twice because I loved it so much and had no shame cleaning my plate! Highly recommend!!!
Stopped here for lunch, was ok. The Pizza was tasty but with canned mushrooms, the chicken salad was very basic and the house wine was not good at all.
I avoid leaving negative reviews but our last dinner in Minori unfortunately was here and it was such a disappointment. We were hungry early so we went and the waiter was incredibly welcoming. We asked for one order of caprese after debating between the bruschetta and that and he suggested he would let us try a small portion of the bruschetta as well. The caprese came on two plates but we thought he just split it up for us. The bruschetta was okay, not great, but we thought it was free. The pasta came and the pomodoro smelled like Chef Boyardee. The menu claims the pasta is homemade but it is definitely not. At the end he came to the table with a small piece of paper and handwritten notes that we couldn’t read claiming the bill was 90 euros. We didn’t understand where the cost came from as they didn’t match the menu and he had charged us for the bruschetta and two orders of the caprese. Avoid this restaurant at all costs. We had much better meals for less.
The service was incredible and it was such a cool atmosphere sitting outside under the vines. The wine list was large and the scallop starter was delicious and light. For dinner my fiancé and I shared the gnocchi with anchovies and the gnocchi with ragú. Both were so tasty but my favorite was the anchovy gnocchi!
You have to go here! The owner was very nice and personable. We ordered pasta dishes and were surprised how amazing everything tasted! Would have come here more often had we found it sooner.
Best meal in the Amalfi coast. The scallops where out of this world. Gnocchi (both meat and seafood were excellent) and the lemon delight was outstanding. Tiramisu was not up to the level of the rest.
Exquisito! I dare to say a must in Minori. The mussels tasted as if they were just taken out of the sea with their chefs touch. Risotto was excellent. Seabass delicious, soft and perfect.
I think all the bad reviews you read are from people with no taste.
Such a lovely spot! My family and I always come to this restaurant when we visit Amalfi. The food is always so fresh and delicious. The pasta is made in house and they always have the fresh catch of the day. Rafael helped us today and he was so nice and accommodating. Very generous portions and prices to be expected with the atmosphere you are submerged in.
Will continue to support this delicious spot for many years to come.
I would have liked to have eaten here more than just the once! Food was amazing. Caprese salad best we’ve had so far. The balsamic vinegar they provide was just out of this world. Stuffed courgette flowers and pizza were also delicious.

Seemed to us very traditional old school place with lots of options to choose from. We tried a few dishes and the favourite was pizza and pasta. Lemon spritz was good. Friendly service. Pretty big restaurant and it was full by the end of the day. So they must be doing something right :)

I had a dinner and also a lunch. Great local restaurant with a welcoming team and amazing food. I will recommend calamari, calzone, tuna grilled.
Absolutely amazing service, delicious food and reasonable prices! The owner (Antonio) is very welcoming, you feel like home, not at a random restaurant. Margarita pizza was probably the best I ever tried, my ravioli in lemon sauce was top notch and limoncello spritz was very refreshing! Would definitely come back again for this restaurant and Minori!
Love this place, the food was awesome ,best tasting shellfish dish I have had. Atmosphere and service are excellent. Will definitely go back for more
Incredible restaurant in Minori, with the most generous portions in town and reasonable prices. The food is heaven! Fish and seafood are just from the hook. Extensive food and local wine selection. Very authentic starting from the furniture and crockery, pleasant ambience with gorgeous Italian music covers.
Attentive service, a big thank you to Raffaele and the team! We visited it for lunch and dinner, and the place is open for breakfast as well.
Definitely will be back. Bravi!!
Sooo yummy!! My family and I love this hidden gem. This is our second time visiting Minori and we were excited to come back to dine here (and we have a group of harsh critics lol). The pasta is fresh, drinks are great and the service is welcoming. 10/10
Lovely place to have good food with friends or family. Friendly staff and the food is delicious. Cappuccino was very good.
Awesome restaurant with delicious, traditional food and kind service. It is the perfect place for someone to experience the italian and mainly the Amalfi-coast gastronomy for reasonable prices.
Really welcoming place with really good proper italian food, the muscles were really good and fresh! And the gnocchi tasted very homemade and you could tell how fresh the pasta was! Lovely setting, would recommend!
Fabulous restaurant with good service and delicious fresh food. We enjoyed antipasti and primi/secondi dishes on a Saturday evening. Everything was fresh and cooked extremely well. The atmosphere was lovely as well. You'll find something for everyone here including kids with the full pizza oven in the kitchen! Make a reservation and stop in for a fabulous dinner in Minori!
I love this place! It should have a higher rating in my opinion! I stayed in Minori for 5 days with my family and we went to this restaurant almost every day. The food is very fresh, we had the gnocchi, lasagna, meat and pizza and everything was excellent and very nicely seasoned. The tomate sauce tastes homemade, salads are also very tasty and refreshing.
The cherry on top of the cake is the limoncello at the end of every meal, the owner makes it himself and was king enough to gift us a bottle. Atmosphere is also very nice as the place is close to the beach and tastefully decorated. I will definitely be back and recommend it to friends!
The restaurant is suited below the ground in the centre of Minori. Very tasty sea food. Service was ok, but in comparison to 5 years ago it was a little worse this time. Maybe lateness was the reason. Very good home made wines. The take away pizza is good and it's very cheap, so you probably won't find anything better in the city in quality/price category. I'll recommend to visit this place at least once if you're staying in Minori.
Some of the best food I've had in Italy, ever. Portion sizes were huge. Everything was so fresh and thoughtfully prepared. Drinks were affordable and delicious. Highly highly recommend.
The restaurant has a large terrace under a roof made of plants, which creates a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The service is quick and friendly, and the food is good overall, though the gnocchi was a bit industrial. The sauce, however, was very tasty.

Fantastic restaurant is hidden in a quiet alley. Freindly staffs and delicious foods. We have ordered a Mimmo pizza that named as boss's, and mixed seafood for our dinner. After we just had one bite we already decided to come second night. (We saw a couple of our neighbor teble coming second night too). The dishes were delicious with large portion. We ordered Seafood Risotto for second night even larger. This is really wonderful place for our dinner that we have eaten really Italy food.

What a nice place, people and food. Antonio welcomed us, was very friendly and served delicious food. Definitely recommended👌🏼🇮🇹
Especially the linguine with lemon sauce, the house special.
This place has the best lemon pasta (pictured)! Their service is very great, and you have a pretty view around you while you enjoy the meal. Highly recommend stopping by here for lunch.
Amazing! Ate here twice now. Both Barbara and Antonio were the absolute best servers! Make sure to try this restaurant the next time you are in Minori. You won’t be disappointed!!

Avoid at all costs. We were lured by the kind man at the front but I wish we listened to the reviews. The food was not edible - it looked good but the taste was terrible. The tomato pasta and bruschetta used canned tomato that did not taste fresh or good AT ALL. The actual pasta wasn’t good. This was the worst pasta I’ve ever had. And I never get unappetized by pasta - so this is saying a lot.

At the end, he tried to overcharge us. It’s very disappointing and sad. Please do not go here, it’s a tourist trap.
Absolutely amazing!! It is our favourite spot in Minori, and the owner and his family are wonderful. A beautiful view of the fountain and beach are complimented by delicious and fresh food. The prices are more than reasonable, and the value cannot be beat. The limoncello at the end of our meal was the icing on the cake for our visit. You must stop here if visiting or staying in Minori!
This unassuming restaurant is a gem. The chef is the mother of the host, and she has cooked for the restaurant for 22 years. I had the Lemon Sauce pasta with chopped shrimp, it was light, flavorful and very satisfying. My wife had a spaghetti with a tomato sauce and Branzino sea bass, it was excellent, the sea bass was cut into small piece and integrated with the sauce. We had a house special bruschetta with ricotta and tomatoes, we selected fresh bread, but maybe toasted would have been easier to eat. The flavor was excellent though. For dessert we had Beignet with a light chocolate mousse filling. It was super light and delicious. Altogether this was a super satisfying meal, all in the shadow of a charming neoclassic church.
Lovely outside dining near the waterfront. We stayed in Minori for a week and the owner was so sweet and gracious saying hi whenever we passed the restaurant. He was so kind to us on our first night recommending sights and even getting us a schedule for the water taxis. He makes the limoncello himself from his own lemons (it's really delicious and he gave us a free pour after every meal) and his wife cooks the fantastic food. This is a must visit for the great service and yummy food.
The linguine with minced prawns (pictured) was 18.50 euro. It had very little prawns in it. "Big salad" was 9 euros and was actually small. We also ordered an omellete with cheese, not pictured as it looked completely basic.

Overall, the value for money at this restaurant is not there. You will find more value for your money elsewhere. Would not recommend.
We were on a day trip to Minori any after relaxing on the beach we wanted some real Italian food. We walked around and came across the Ristorante, we were very pleased with the food! Lots of seafood options but also the classic Italian pasta dishes, great service too - very friendly. Quite pricey but worth the price for a very relaxed Italian setting and proper Italian food!
