Pizza tastes good but not worth $40 for an extra large pizza. I'd give the price 3/10 service 8/10 and food quality 6.7/10 over all I'd give it a 6/10. But tbh I'd rather spend the extra time and go to Toronto for that price.

I've now eaten here 3 times. I have to admit. The food is excellent, good price, good portion. A nice little mom and pop shop. The owners are both wonderful and engaging. Small area to sit so this is more of a take to it to go style.

Best pizza in Oshawa! Discovered during a street fest when we wondered in- will never order from any where else as the cheese and toppings are authentic tasting, right down to the crust. Easy to pick up downtown on the way home from work or super friendly delivery staff. Highly recommend!!

After 6 yrs of being a faithful customer I will never order from Oshawa ever again.
90min wait-no problem I’m used to that. I’ve ordered the same pizza for 6 yrs.
Pizza came-wrong pizza, most of the toppings had slid off the pizza. Called. They offered no solution. Said “would I take some kind of discount”. How about correcting the mistake in the first place? Shameful service from such a loved small business

This restaurant is run by a husband and wife. Honestly in my 10 years in Canada I’ve never come across such authentic and delicious Italian Food. Definitely tasted the best Alfredo Pasta and Chicken Parm in a really really long time. The owner is super sweet and made us feel so special during our time there. It’s a true hidden gem and the more I say is less.

O my god! Amazing food! Amazing staff….. walked in a stranger and walked out thinking, I’ve known these people all my life.. Did I mention, how amazing the home made food is!.. We will be back.. I can’t find one thing to complain about. Food, staff and price AMAZING.

Massive portions, fresh and delicious food, and the service!! They make you feel like you're family. The prices are so reasonable for such large amounts of food, be prepared to eat for days. Can't say much else other than I strongly recommend it, what an amazing place!

Pizzamunno all the way! Never looking back. I called for delivery and it was too close to closing time so I picked it up myself in crazy weather while my show was on. It was worth it. The dough is unlike any other. The Primavera (no basil) is my new fave even tho I’m a meat lover. I’m gonna try it with basil next time. The spicy Hawaiian was amazing as well. Well done to the team!

Nice spot if you are a pizza lover. 100% recommended. It seems like people love to order to pick up, but I order to dine in.

Went there a couple of weeks ago with some friends, and we all ordered pasta. The food was amazing, and the portions were great for the price! The woman who served us was such a sweet lady and helped us pick something each of us would enjoy. The food was made quickly and it was such a nice experience. Can't wait to come back soon!

Ordered it for the first time the other night. Delivery was about 35 mins which was 25min faster than what they said it would be. The delivery driver was very nice. The order was correct. The website was easy and friendly to use. For the price I paid, the pizza was very very good. Hot, and fresh tasting. So far, it is the best pizza I have had out of roughly 10 or so pizza joints I have tried. I am getting another pizza later this week to show my friends lol. Great pizza, 10/10

I read the reviews before heading in today.
I was meet by a wonderful lady who took our order about 5 mins later 2 pastas ready to go.
Price is a deal hard to find in these times.
Food was delicious and the portions.
Can't wait to go back try some other items.

Nice Italian restaurant, not upscale, not a chain (nice), just straightforward casual dining. Lots of seating. Good variety on the menu and the food is hot and tasty. Good wine list. Our server was helpful and friendly. Small parking lot beside the restaurant. They took our last minute reservation for dinner on December 30th no problem. Really made our evening as we had just cancelled elsewhere and tried here based on a previous experience.

Haven't been to Avanti since the start of the pandemic but we were regulars until that time. Took my father in law here for a post Christmas dinner (12/27/2023) and as usual, we were not disappointed. I really have to commend our waitress, Wanda. She went above and beyond. She was attentive and friendly. The first was stellar. It was my first time trying the lasagna and it was delicious. All the food was good. So much value for the money!

Ordered for the first time last night. Pizza was so delicious and loaded with toppings. Their house made creamy garlic was to die for. The best I’ve ever had. We also asked if we could buy some marinara dipping sauce and the cashier gave us two dip cups for free. Thank you! We’ll be back.

I have heard nothing but great things about this place so decided to order takeout for the first time. I have to admit, we were disappointed. We ordered 2 Fettuccine Alfredo dinners (28$ each!) - although the staff were friendly and the restaurant atmosphere was very inviting during pick-up, both of our dinner portions were on the small side and were completely unseasoned! Not sure if this is normal? Not even salt or pepper, just literally white sauce with noodles and plain shrimp and chicken breast thrown into an aluminum tray. It was very surprising considering I spent $76 after tip. I will say, after seasoning my own meal and forgetting about the underwhelming presentation, the food was very tasty and good quality. We just wish it came with a larger portion too for the price, as we were left hungry and wanting more! Perhaps dine in is the way to go to get a better meal experience.

Amazing Italian pizza made-to-order, baked fresh in a large oven or hot and ready by-the-slice. Dough is prepared daily, sauce is made in-house and the toppings are fresh. The crust is a perfect balance of chew, soft and crunch. Service was punctual, polite and professional. The menu includes vegetarian and vegan pizzas as well as calzones and salads. If you're really hungry or have many mouths to feed they offer a Jumbo pizza. Location is a busy downtown storefront. The street is one-way with parallel pay-parking (free 2-hr after 6pm) which fills up fast at peak times. There is minimal seating inside with just a few tables. Inside is cramped during peak times with multiple customers ordering, waiting and dining in. Prices are a medium to high, but on par for a gourmet pizza. The means justifies the end as you enjoy a great tasting pizza.

I have now eaten here twice and both times it was absolutely delicious! I want to eat my way through the entire pasta and pizza menu. I have had the gnocchi al formaggi and the butternut squash ravioli. Both 5 stars but I would definitely pick the gnocchi again as the sauce was just a little bit richer and creamier. The service is also great and they were so accommodating for making tweaks to menu items for some pickier family members we were dining with. This will be a new staple place for me for sure.

Service is great, we love the crispiness of the pizza dough and the bread is so good. I've already been satisfied with the complimentary bread. Haha. The cake they served for my birthday, taste awesome. Thanks to the team!

This is a great place for a good Italian meal. Server was really good, made excellent recommendations especially when it came to the espresso martini. Definitely recommend it! For a starter I had the Calamari and it was delicious, just surprised it came with tarter sauce and not a garlic aioli.(just my preference). For my main I had Spaghettini frutta di mare and it was loaded with seafood and so very yummy! I didn't have any room for dessert but I did cap my meal with Latte and again it was great! If you are ever in Ohawa I would definitely check this place out.

The food was good. The buns that came with the table. We’re hot and fresh. One person had lasagna but no garlic bread came with it. Another person had the steak dish and enjoyed it. I found the place was noisy and crowded on a Saturday night.

Great tasting pasta!! Located in downtown Oshawa, this little restaurant is providing you with huge pasta portions. Lisa, the owner I believe is SUPER friendly and welcoming!! I definitely got the vibe our belly’s would be taken care of when speaking to her on the phone to place our order. The portions are generous and fed our family for a couple of meals. We will certainly be back again to try more!!
