Perfect lunch. Salmone caprese and tiramisu. Though I would really like if they had more wine by the glass options. Only one white wine, a Pinot Grigio. Dos Equis works.
Absent service, over 30 minutes wait for a mediocre hamburger. No water or soap in the bathroom, this place is a dump.
The food was great, we ordered a pizza and burger and fries. Before our food came out, they brought us some bread to the table. The service was good also. The only bad thing is it was very hot, they had a ceiling fan and no AC, so we sweated a lot.
Fatto con Amore is a charming restaurant with excellent Italian food. I tried the risotto with shrimp and asparagus. It was very good. My husband had the lasagna and it was on point for favour and texture. The tiramisu was delicious, well worth it.

I consider this a hidden treasure, pizza is good,gnocchi too. Fair price for the quality, good service. They have a few wine and beer options.

Our first time here. We had pizzas and frita Mediterranean. In general, all were good. Frita was fried calamari and shrimps. Calamari was a bit chewy, like if it was frozen before cooked. Pizza was much better. I would definitely try their pizza again . We also had very nice tiramisu for dessert.
Their food is very good. Lasagna have good taste and the green salad was fresh and the order came with dinner rolls for a good price
Tasty food in nice atmosphere BUT do not expect authentic Italian presentation. Delightful hostess and waiters . Italian wine good.

While the food was amazing, the customer experience was really bad. The waiter never checked on us even when the food took a while, which is understandable for a Friday night though the restaurant was too busy. What’s worst is that the waiter charged us more in tip than what we authorized. This is a very sneaky and unprofessional way to deal business. Tip is a reflection of service and while his service was terrible, by him stealing from customers is unacceptable.
I don't know where all the good reviews came from but everyone's food was totally bland, not Italian and didn't taste nice. The service was poor. The location was cute though.
Very disappointed with taste of the food. I tried their Bruschetta, pizza Margarita and Lasagna Primavera. Everything I tried was blend, has no taste and overall it was sweet. Very bad experience. Their Naranjada was good. The service was ok. But I will not recommend as the food was bad.
I was looking for a place I can relax and eat some Italian food and you know what I found it!... Definitely a place I will be coming back to!... My favorite Italian restaurant in GDL. The pizza marker saw I was sitting alone and came to offer me company and talk about the restaurant (really appreciate the random act of kindness) ordered the Prosciutto Pizza (cooked perfectly) and had a glass of sangria as well. Came back the next day for lunch to have the Bruschetta plate. Will visit again next trip 🍕🍕🍞🍞🥗🥗
The pizza was outstanding, the ravioli was good but a little light in the filling, service was also outstanding and the prices were very good and reasonable 👍 for Guadalajara restaurants! Highly recommended that you try this place especially if you are craving a really good wood fired pizza!
The food was delicious. The service was terrible. I really don’t think they know what they are doing. The staff don’t talk to you, they serve tables that have just been seated and leave tables waiting for a menu. They ask what you want before giving you a menu. Terrible service. Bit if you can get through that the food is really very good.
Nice walking distance from our hotel. Food was plentiful and the lemon veal was delicious. The salads are just ok. Way too much tasteless sauce over the salads.

Hole in the wall near the cathedral. Super adorable and delicious pasta and pizza. We loved the sangria too - it’s a little sweet. Cute decor. Feels like a tiny slice of Europe. I recommend this place!
Oh my goodness, what a pizza!!! I've been waiting for months to have a good quality pizza in my travels in Mexico & Funicula gave me an 8.8/10 in their pepperoni & mushroom pizza. They're naranjanada was fresh & delicious, so refreshing. I wish I took photos, but it was immediately delicious & everything was enjoyed greatly. Their Italian ice cream is amazing, too. Great serving sizes for the price you pay. If you want a great night out enjoying great service, great ambience & great food, Funicula is a MUST.

Cool place and good food, the appetizers are worth trying, they have a very tasty zucchini carpaccio as well as the burrata. Better if you seat at the terrace as you get park view.
At first all is really good, food very good. However pass time and they start forgetting your table, because they already sold bottle of wine etc etc. I asked several times for Sambuka that they never brought. I asked for the check like 3 times, and I asked for my change the same. So service really socks. I will never come back.

Safe place to go when craving for Italian, pasta dishes include salad (they used to be make your own bit after covid they prepare it for you). Be ready to wait for a table on the weekends, but they provide beverages while you wait. The staff is really friendly and the food is fresh, big enough portions. Frutti di mare is great, and they can make carbonara sauce even if not on the menu, which is really good. The place is closed so it gets noisy and the wine selection is limited but ok.

The food is good, pizzas in special are the best in restaurant in my opinion. The service is good and the valet parking have cost and tips are additional. You can spend per person between 200 to 400 in average.
I recommend getting the fettuccini Alfredo pasta, I do NOT recommend the bolognese lasagna. I wanted to try it today and it tasted like microwaved prison pasta. It had no presentation either, I am very disappointed. It feels like I wasted my money. If you’re the owner and you’re reading this, take it off the menu, seriously.I just wasted my money and left unhappy.

I’m not lying when I say this is my absolute favorite restaurant! The atmosphere is great, the food is phenomenal, the portions are big, and the prices are reasonable! I wish I lived nearby to eat there once a week!

Although claiming to serve authentic Neapolitan pizza, the restaurant charges an exorbitant 300% premium compared to enjoying it in Italy. Additionally, the customer service is abysmal. The staff's behavior is highly discriminatory and rude. During our visit with a work group, they treated us terribly, even stooping so low as to insultingly label us as "filthy" simply because we didn't want to leave more than a 10% tip for a waiter who provided subpar service and had a bad attitude. This experience left us deeply disappointed and with little inclination to return.

When we visit Guadalajara (4 times a year) our family trips to Napoles are always a highlight! Last night’s dinner was as good as ever, calimari and tuna sharing starters, pizza and pasta mains, great craft beers, service and ambiance. We’ll be back!
Stopped by for a snack and wine. Carpaccio de pulpo is delicious. It’s a tasty appetizer that pairs well with a glass of wine. I had a glass of Tempranillo which was light and refreshing. My only complaint is that they don’t offer more wines by the glass.
Pizza is made with fermented dough and is perfect. The rest of the dishes are also delicious and authentic Italian. Efficient and solid wine selection. It’s a bit of a deep cut off Pedro Moreno around the corner from Louie Burger. Definitely worth the trip. Low key vibe with friendly staff and an owner from Napoli. Highly Recommed 🤌

I had the pleasure of enjoying their food, service & atmosphere twice in the week I was there. The food overall was excellent & the service was also excellent. Their desserts are well worth saving space for. Reasonably priced for what you get all around. Very impressed!
Was a date dinner with my gf, we had an incredible octopus carpaccio, and portobello and red wine sauce pasta that was unbelievable. We had a very nice time, definitely listed as one of our favorite from now on

I went to this Italian restaurant for dinner and the service was terrible. Waited like 15 minutes before our waitress even acknowledged us. she then rushed us asking what we wanted to drink and our food. I had to tell her to wait. we never got the attention i thought this place was. we also had reservations. Oh, and the food was ok. I've had better at Olive Garden. I will never go back to this place. two thumbs down!!
Monday evening.around 8 pm and went right in. Got the Burrata Margarita and it was delicious. The crust is very thin and soft, and the sauce and burrata were really good. 👌 I would go back.
Love it. Okay so it’s not Italy but the chef puts his own spin on these flavorful Italian dishes. I split the fettuccine Alfredo and chicken Parma with my friend. We ate it all. My other friend got the salmon over the red sauce. He said the salmon. was great. The cream brûlée was so creamy and sweet.
The food was delicious. The pizza has an incredible crust, cheese and tomato sauce. Also, ask the waitress for pasta recommendations, they're excellent. Beverages also delicious as well!

I only went for the vegan pizza which was.... interesting. Had loads of beetroot I think on it and was a huge size.

Amazing, authentic, reasonable. Was staying in Colonia Americana and came across this place. It seems that the owner is Italian. Came twice. Had Linguini Fruti di Mare and Vegetarian pizza plus a creative caprese. Fantastic tiramisu and panna cota too.
Strong garlic sauce, just the way I like it, made my spinach and cheese ravioli a winner. Fast efficient service although it could have been because I arrived at a non-peak hour. I expected a few slices of fresh Italian bread to accompany the dish, but no. That was my one disappointment.

Well, where do I start. The best part of this evening was the ambience and the gentleman playing and singing. Could not have been better. Ordered red wine. And when it arrived it was maybe 4 oz. At most, and it had come out of the fridge. With the reasoning that it gets hot here and the wine gets warm. Finally, and I realize I'm ranting, but we spend a lot of times in restaurants, and having to send back two of four dishes back because they we cool and then to have brought back to the table just as cold. Sorry, was looking for a cool,Italian, evening, and it was not.
I will come back here just to see Armando, a hardworking employee of Funicula who has been delivering the best for 17 yrs. Their menu is outstanding, great atmosphere and top 3 Italian food in Guadalajara.

Location is amazing and it's a must stop for the pizza. I've had pizza all around the world including Italy and it's easily a Top 5 pizza. Don't get the lasagna, it takes forever to come out and taste is a bit weird. Also the guys restroom is extremely rustic with no running water to wash your hands. I would definitely come back for the pizza!!
Might be one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Everything was tasty and there was something slightly unique about the dishes beyond the usual italian restaurant taste you'd expect.Cocktails were okay tho, may not be their strengths.
We rented an Airbnb apartment in the neighborhood for a month and ate at Angelos about 6 or 7 times. It’s a wonderful place – great ambiance (modest size of about 20 tables, a rich, warm interior, red table cloths, real candles stuck in wine bottles complete with wax drippings down the sides, heavy wooden tables – you get the feel, no?); wait staff that’s attentive but not overbearing; and very reasonable pricing. We loved the salads, which are generous and very fresh. The entrees are not exotic – a range of pasta, chicken, fish, and steaks -- and very tasty. We ordered pizza to go with the salads about half the time and loved that. I never had anything disappoint us there and recommend it without hesitation.

I liked what i ordered, it tasted freshly prepared, the sweet potato chips are not the best I’ve tried, but they were ok. I little bit disappointed with the sangria, but maybe I expected too much from a mall food court. The employees were attentive. I waited less than 10 minutes for my food.
I love this place! Finding authentic Italian food in Guadalajara was a Godsend for me because you can burn out eating Mexican food each day. Not only was the food here very delicious, but it was just as good if not better than the food back home in Seattle WA. The service was spot on, and I visited this location 3 times to try multiple dishes. I was never disappointed.

One of the indisputable best Italian restaurants in Guadalajara. They serve authentic Italian cuisine and the atmosphere as well as the architecture is just euphoric, you actually feel like you are eating at an Italian villa. If you are traveling in Guadalajara and you want to try Italian/European cuisine then this is the place to go.

Great italiano place!! The menu has a good diversity, the food was really good and the service was fast, even considering that we were a group of 20 plus people. The truffle pizza and their gnocchi are a must. I'll say that the pizza is actually the best in town

Food and atmosphere was great. This place is has large open windows, and no A.C. The Krispy Kreme Doughnut...delicious!! Natural flavor waters are very refreshing. Priced for the quality. The only thing I was a bit unhappy about was the waiter not taking our order in a more speedy manner, felt a bit forgotten.

La plaza es muy agradable, la comida es buena los costos un poco elevados para ser solo panninis. Poca variedad en el menú limitado a cafes , postres, paninis y ensaladas, se cobra estacionamiento de la plaza.
El lugar está en la zona de restaurantes en el segundo piso, el sabor es bueno, la cantidad me parece bien respecto al precio (Mucho mejor opción que Boca 21 Deli). El servicio rápido y amable.
It's a small place, but nice for a date or a reunion with friends. The food is good and the prices may be a little expensive for the portions, but it really worth it. I recommend to try the portobello sauce in any dish you like, and it can go along with a cup of good wine, they have a large selection.
Great wood fired pizza without all that gummy over-cheesed layer of cheese. Nice and flavorful crispy crust. Drinks are good. Service is attentive. You wont be disappointed here unless you are looking for chuck e cheese or dominos style pizza.
