First fine dining experience, the restaurant located in city area, I enjoyed beautiful scenery of MBS, Merlion and river side while having sumptuous meal. Restaurant atmosphere is good, service is good and the waiter is very friendly. Food is superb. It’s an awesome dining experience.

We had a lovely night being served by Matthew! We ordered the ala carte and all were a hit! Each dish has its only surprised elements and flavour which are not overwhelming in taste! See my pictures here! Matthew gave us a surprise as well for our anniversary! Not to forget the spectacular view! Will come back again!

The food is not good at all.
And the view can't make up for that.

They serve margarine instead of butter. The bread is soggy. The flavors and seasonings of the dishes are strange and unbalanced. Some of it tastes more like Chinese food than Mediterranean.

The service is slow. It took them 1 hour to serve 2 entrees.

Overall, not recommended unless you just want to get a cup of coffee and enjoy the bay view.

I’ve had a wonderful time with my family here. They love it here. Great atmosphere for kids. Staff are friendly and easy to communicate with. Great service!! Good food!! Not the best but definitely above average!! 👍🏻👍🏻

This restaurant has a great view for a special occasion and the the service was pretty good. -1 on service for rushing out food order while we were still looking at the wine list. They told us to start with food, which was odd. And, there was no course menu left at the table, which was unusual for a fine dining tasting menu.

Unfortunately, we just didn’t like the food. At all. We love Mediterranean food, especially French, and this food just had really odd flavors and combinations to us.

Here’s what we didn’t like:
-the tomato salad was out of season and very heavy on black pepper.
-they poured an awful and very spicy sauce over the lobster pastilla. It was called “lobster bisque” but had the color and flavor of chili sauce. The inside of the pastilla was a very wet shredded vegetable. Sad because I love the original Moroccan pastilla.
-the fried artichoke with the wagyu tasted strongly of brine (from a tin).
-the roll with the cheese plate had an odd, fishy, taste. Might have been seaweed, but we just didn’t like it.
-the grapefruit and raspberry dessert was so, so tart it made your mouth pucker and had nothing rich to balance it.

I’d expect fresh, seasonal, produce and a strong understanding of how to balance flavors from a fine dining restaurant. This place is pretty, but mostly trades on the view.

They say first impressions counts and boy was I impressed! Was warmly greeted upon arrival and shown to my table. Very comfortable seatings. The wait staff’s services were commendable. They will quick to clear our used plates, top up water and even volunteered to take a photo for us when they see us attempting a selfy. Although the space was compact, the buffet spread was extensive, well presented and delicious. Kudos to the chefs on duty! The roasted beef was tender and juicy and the chili sauce for the slipper lobster was delicious (dip it with the mini fried man tou!) They were quick to replenish the popular dishes too. I had lots of strawberries coated by the white chocolate fountain. Do try the tiny ondeh ondeh balls that burst in your mouth!

Awesome food especially the Mala lobster. For family with young children this place hv children friendly plate and bowl set for boys and girls. Fantastic atmosphere and plenty of parking.

Here for company lunch so no concept of the price here pls ignore my spending. Food is decent. Spread is kind of limited but sufficient.

We had the weekend dinner buffett. Taste was great. Simple n tasty. Cold seafood was nice also if I had the time to peel. Ice cream wasn’t that good but to individual’s palate. Coffee was nice not the sourish type. Meat wise, plentiful although a smaller corner. Fresh sushi cuts available n rojak was fantastic. The price, the food, the place all met at the same place.🍰🍤🦪🍣☕️🍖

Have always enjoyed coming to 21On Rajah Buffet Lunch. The ambience is peaceful and serene. Good aircond brings refresh air.
Oh! The Staff is attentive and pleasant to serve you. Wonderful halal cuisines beef, salmon, laksa, rojah, free flow of coffee.....
Hold many functions here as a senior citizen. Certainly value for value. But it can be crowded.
My request for Aloft Hotel to provided complimentary parking tickets.

Everything was perfect, good service, good food. Will definitely go again. Thank you for all of your hard work to make our night most beautiful.

I was glad to have a meal last year and just realised I haven’t rated it!

Food and ambience was great. Weekend dinner had live sashimi, salmon from Norway was succulent. Carving station of steak with black pepper sauce (which is the main highlight because it was really tasty). An entire selection of fresh seafood ranging from prawns to lobster. Live pasta section and live noodle section (laksa etc). Food was really good. Staff was helpful to bring us up to the musollah (which is a modified hotel room). Another highlight was the crayfish with chilli crab sauce and mantou. Pure brilliance. Sincerest gratitude to the team, for your impeccable service on a Sunday evening!

A beautiful restaurant within the flowers pavillion where to eat Mediterranean food such as Lebanese and Moroccan.
Service is top level, mise en place is stunning, atmosphere is kind of premium.
Just a side note: maybe the courses are not that giant but it’s okay if you’d like to try different recipes

Was recc to try the buffet lunch which is a new thing the restaurant started recently. Nice decor, professional and attentive staff and also a nice view near the Merlion! Staff will recc u to enjoy the buffet in sequence of the menu, though I was quite tempted to dive right straight for the roast meat live station. For starters, you will be served a shellfish consommé, a plate of oysters and some cured salmon. Consommé was refreshing and the oysters are nicely shucked and fresh! Cured salmon was also thickly sliced. Up next you get a mutha huge tray of ham, duck rillete, foie gras pie and assorted cheeses. At this point i feel abit illogical. With just the 3 of us obviously there’s no way we can finish this and still stomach the mains and desserts. Personally i don’t like to see wastage but really no choice this time but had to pass a large remainder portion of it. The cheeses weren’t really my thing and the ham and the rillete are just fairly decent. Maybe i don’t how to appreciate ba. Next is the roast meat live station i was waiting for. Btw you can order any of the previous dishes that u had at any point of time. There was australian ribeye, bbq spare ribs, lamb shanks, chicken pastilla, charsiew and also mushroom risotto. Generally everything at the live station was gd. Even the risotto which is easy to f up was really well made. But my fav was prob the charsiew. I have no idea how they get such a mutated large chunk of mutha tender charsiew from. Most charsiew i see is usually a thin long piece of loin meat. Need to get a hold of their charsiew supplier sia lol. At this point of time, we thought we enjoyed the highlight alr but hell no…the dessert station was the darkest horse ever! Super nice caramel macrons and the bestest choc tart ever! If u bake u will know how troublesome it is to make macrons. Choc tart is the star of the show man. Indescribable but i think there’s a layer of biscotti spread in between the tart and the base biscuit that gives it a special crunch to it. Walan eh, if i know the desserts were this gd i would skipped the tray of ham and cheeses. Oh well, will def return with a diff strategy the next time lol. Overall a really nice experience worthy of breaking my ketosis. $133 nett per pax; abit pricey for lunch but really quality stuff, nice ambience and excellent view!

Nice Atmosphere and service. The food really depends on what you order. Beef Lamp Combo is great, sea bass is rather at average level. Black cherry tart is great while the lemon tart is too sweet. And coffee ( we ordered latte and flat white) is quite disappointing though, it tasted like the bean is not fresh enough. Oh and the place is not very easy to find, the signage is quite low-profile.

On our visit to Gardens by the Bay we went to Hortus for lunch. Excellent Mediterranean food and delicious desserts! We were sitting next to a bed of herbs of different kinds.
The view from here is very good.

The spaghetti mud crab was delicious. Tomato stew was yummy. Pumpkin and ginger soup was thick and fragrant with strong ginger taste. Sea bass was cooked in perfection. Meat was juicy and sweet. Carrot cake and lemon meringue are good. Overall everything was perfect. Ambience is cold inside flower dome with beautiful flowers. Will come again.

Always happy visiting Hortus. Great ambience, food and service. Thank you to Celine and Team. They are always busy serving guests and walk-ins and never show signs of tiredness. Special thanks to Celine who always extend her fabulous service to me and my family. Amazed how she remember what we like to eat and drink individually, including my special requests. Our top choice for family get together over afternoon tea 😊 Good vegetarian options too!

Went here for a surprise birthday for dinner - food is absolutely amazing and service is incredibly accommodating, and staff is very friendly! Atmosphere is lovely and peaceful but can get extremely cold overtime, so I recommend bringing a jacket.

Some of the dishes I'd recommend is Fried Ratte potatoes & their Vine ripened tomatoes dish under the Salads & Vegetable section is extremely good, and their Lamb tagine is flavorful & cooked perfectly. We also had a small dessert (not sure of the name) that tasted like chocolate hazelnut and ferrero rocher, it tasted like heaven & very nutty so if you love chocolate related desserts this is perfect for you!

Aside from that, the best experience to have here is order multiple dishes and try each of them since you have to reach their $50 min order per person anyways - but in total of around 6 - 7 dishes for 2 people we've ordered was below $200-ish. So come with an empty stomach!

The ambience is very apt to the place and the location is very unique inside the flower garden dome. The staff were good and the service was very nice. The food options are great and the menu is designed very well. Great collection of wines and the way they are displayed adds a great vibe to the place. It can be a great place for private dinners and casual meetings. The food was served on time and good recommendations were made by the staff.

We visited the Flower Dome on a hot sunny day and my mom decided to have something to eat at Hortus. It has a splendid atmosphere with an amazing set of crew, the food is fantastic too. The menu prices were reasonable for the venue, however the pastry prices were strangely not listed. When asking for the bill, we were shocked that each pastry we ordered costs S$18! Its a standard-sized pastry, but $18 each? I think everything is good except that you better know what you are paying for.

We came and had the 7-course dinner. I felt the dishes were a bit hit or miss. Some of the dishes were fantastic like the prawns and veal sweetbread, sourdough was also excellent. However I did not like the tangy lobster pastilla and I felt the taste clashed with the pastry. Perhaps I was not a fan of the sauce in that dish. - this may be because I have a cheese allergy and requested for no dairy and so maybe those dishes would have been better with cheese? Thus that's why I will leave it at 4 stars overall as the staff were accommodating and restaurant itself was lovely. Hope in the future their menu can be more inclusive to allergies. The dessert was really sad since I couldn't take cheese!

Patronises this cafe on several occasions inclusive birthday celebrations before COVID-19 outbreak. Today is the 1st after ~5 yrs.
