Great service, would go back. I came in an hour before they closed on a weekday and I was the only one in the restaurant besides the owner and employees. The only negative thing was the noodles were slightly undercooked but it was still delicious and a great price.

Came here for a New Year’s Eve dinner and it was the biggest meal we’ve ever had. They made some really thoughtful vegan alternatives, which was very much appreciated. The chocolate lava cake was a particular standout and the service was impeccable!
Awful service for high prices. Waiter got my order wrong and when asked to change upon receiving wrong meal they tried to force me to have it. I asked for the correct dish as I wasn’t able to eat it and they said I would need to pay for that. I’ve never had such a bad service in my stay in Naples. The quality was very low for the price of the meal. They also add an extra €4 to the bill without explanation, sadly we only saw the receipt after we left. I do not recommend this place at all it’s a scam.
The pizza we ordered were delicious. We tried the capricciosa and the vicchiarelle. The tri bruschetta was also good. The service was genial and friendly. It was our first meal in Naples and it was a good start.
Recommended by a local. I had the Nonna Ermelinda, their signature. It was flavourful with a great sauce, fresh cheese, and flavourful meatballs. A great price point too

Highly recommended!!! We had dinner twice here when staying in Naples. Both times were great and we will come back again when next in town.

Extensive menu to choose from and all so delicious. Next time we sat in the restaurant area as we booked in advance and had salads, pizza and pasta. Again, the food was amazing.

Cozy, homey and most importantly, delicious, at very sensible prices. The menu is varied from traditional dishes, to pizzas and even steaks. Don't miss, and make a reservation, because it fills up quick.

Excellent pizzeria! I had the Diavola pizza and I would order it again. This is a place I will be recommending to friends and family. Tables are easy to fill up at this location, but get cozy with your neighbors for a premium pizza.
Pretty good food price quality ratio - service was quite unalert and some things took a bit longer as they should be - especially coming up with some new wine for the main course - the bread gets an extra attention point. Top notch !
This place was buzzing when we reached, leaving nothing but an outside table to eat at. The service was slow, because it was so busy - but the waiter was attentive and pleasant when he did reach.
The gluten free pizzas were fabulous - with none of the hallmarks of gluten free food. The crust was delicious, and the toppings fresh and bursting with flavour.

Stopped for a quick bite on our 1st day in town and I must say we found a Gem !! The Pizza and Pasta were fantastic , service was great, will try and stop again before we go .

Late dinner for us. Kitchen was closing but Christian secured some food for us.

"Bon Apetit", this is everything you need when you are in Napoli and you are hungry. Service is super kind, meal is super tasty. And is tourist friendly, they were still kind, after we start speak in english. Very important for me, grazie from Slovakia, Thank you Salvatore!
Haben eine Pizza 4Formagi zum Teilen bestellt. War nichts besonderes. Glauben, es war Hefeteig. Haben sehr schnell zubereitet… Preis 10€ für eine Pizza, etwas teurer als bei manchen anderen. Ein Glas Rotwein bestellt: War nicht gut. Würden nicht nochmal da essen gehen.

We came here with some local friends as they wanted us to try something different. We ordered a few different pizzas to share and a gluten free one for me. Our friends called ahead of time to pre-order the GF dough.
The other pizzas all looked great and the contemporanea style definitely looks different than the typical Neapolitan pizzas. However, the gluten-free one was not at all what we expected. Not only it looked like a very small version of a frozen pizza, but it also did not taste great. I had many gluten-free pizzas in Naples and they were all pretty good if not excellent. This one was quite disappointing. I would have preferred if they mentioned at the beginning that the gluten-free pizza is not the same kind of pizza as the others. Everyone looked quite bummed up when the pizza arrived. We had plenty of gluten-free pizza in the city and often you can't even tell them apart . I would definitely recommend they perfect their gluten free pizza before they offer it as an option.

Super leckere Pizza! Der Service war perfekt. Auch unser Sohn bekam gleich einen Babystuhl. Wir saßen draußen unter einem großen Schirm der viel Schatten spendete. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Classic tourist trap 🪤, the service is pretty quick and kind, however, the food isn't great and portions aren't sized for what you'd expect from a "trattoria".
Salads are quite small and served without any kind of bread/croutons. The bruschetta is priced 8 euro so you'd expect a good sized bruschetta but you get a 3 euro worth of bread with a couple of cherry tomatoes.

Ate here twice whilst in Naples & both times the meals were excellent. The best pizza we have had in Italy so far in 7 days.

Food was great, decent portion sizes, didn't have to wait that long to be seated and orders came pretty quick. Staff were friendly and attentive. Staff were able to understand and speak English which helped a lot for us

A bit far from the city center, but can get the area by metro. My wife is celiac, so we really enjoyed the place since they have plenty of gluten-free options, with and outstanding pizza! 🍕And the service is great, all the people there is really nice! 100% recommended!
Typical napolitan pizza. The staff was friendly, the food was good. And the prices are also okay. We were satisfied. One star I'll withdraw because the atmosphere could be a little bit better. We felt more like we were in a street food restaurant than in a traditional, 120 year old establishment. But in general we can recommend it, you'll definetly not will stay hungry.

The waiters were friendly towards us even though we didn’t speak Italian. The pizza was very good. The linguine was undercooked and salty. We were recommended to get the steak, which tasted ok.

The second time we had swordfish with veg the swordfish was frozen.
The third time we took my mom i had steak they didn't have oven potatoes and the veg was cold. Service wasn't got it was on the evening.
The fourth visit we had mixed meat with veg which was very good.
The fifth visit genovese which was very good again and the service was good and the staff was very kind.
The sixth time was yesterday. It was the most disappointing visit yet. Their own speciality dish was a disaster. No flavour, barely any meat not edible but no refund given, the mixed meat was good but had to be shared due to the awful pasta dish. They never have oven potatoes despite having it on the menu so ended up with fries.
It is very hit and miss depending on the time of the day, who is cooking, how busy it is. The most friendly staff is the one employed to get customers.
You need to know what to order here in order to get a good meal. The mixed meat seems to be the consistent dish. Veg and pasta hit and miss and pizzas are ok but on the expensive side.

Although we had to wait almost 30 minutes to be seated for our reservation, the staff was extremely helpful and polite in facilitating a resolution. Simply amazing and authentic local food. Best fried entrées I've had in Naples. Enrico, our waiter, was impeccable. Highly recommended, and will come back on my next visit withiut a doubt!

Great Italian food. Staff was friendly and helpful facilitating the order. We skipped appetizers and went straight for entrees. We ordered a liter of house wine (white or red options) in addition. I loved my Grandma’s Ragú pasta choice, while my sister had a pasta with potatoes dish. Brother had a capricciosa pizza. He loved that the toppings were spread throughout the pizza instead of the typical sections of toppings. We tried one of their fried pizza options in addition to all of this - not our favorite but interesting and worth trying to see what it tastes like. The outdoor seating area was cute and intimate. I’ll definitely be back for the Ragú and the wine.

Modestly, I have quite some experience with pizza. So you can trust me when I say that it lives up to the hype that Vincenzo managed to build around his pizzas. We had a contemporary pizza with pistacchio and mortadella - fantastic. And one with border filled with ricotta, yellow tomatoes, the thickets layer of cheese you can imagine, and taralli sbriciolati. Generous but not greasy. Soft, digestible dough. Friendly staff. On a Wednesday lunch: zero wait, lot of godimento.

We ordered a blond beer and they brought us a weiss just because they run out of it. The people at the till are just the worse example of rudeness you can ever encounter, they were screaming and were totally careless of the other people eating in the restaurant. It is such a pity cause the pizza itself is good. But that’s it really. Avoid at all cost this place, Naples is full of much better pizzerias.

Everything was great. In particular, I really liked the natural sweetness of the sauce as it was less heavily salted than at the more famous places we’ve tried.
The service was also lovely. Front man Lello Raffaele was sweet and welcoming. As we were the only ones there, early, as Americans do, while a few dozen pizzas went out for delivery, we chatted on and off (and never intrusively). I felt welcomed back on my great grandparents’ behalf. And at the end of the meal, he surprised us with two gifts we enjoyed but didn’t ask for. And one I didn’t notice until after we left!
If you’re in Vomero, step a few blocks off Via Scarlatti and check out this gem!

I had the best pasta of my life here- the puttanesca. What an experience! Such lively and vibrant flavors. It was so good I came back the next day for more. They pizza is perfect as well. Crispy crust and delicious sauce in 90 seconds. I highly recommend going out of your way to eat here.

It is always a pleasure coming here ... The food is always amazing. Steaks are cooked to perfection. I love downstairs but it was closed due to COVID-19.. staff is generous and friendly. I recommend this place to anyone traveling to Naples, Italy. Two thumbs up
This has been a wonderful experience on every level. The steak and beef: excellent quality and taste (and I'm Belgian so trust me ;p ), same for the pasta dishes - all while being made with subtlety. Good beer and fine wine. Additionally, the desserts are absolutely exquisite. Not to forget the staff: super friendly, kind and helpful. The cosy and warm interior only adds to the experience. This is definitely a gastronomic restaurant, so it is more expensive, because you get the finest food and ingredients. We would like to thank Cantina La Barbera for making our last evening in this city meravigliosa. Best restaurant in Napoli, hands down. What are you waiting for?

We decided on this pizzeria purely by chance as we couldn't find seating on the main drag. What a great find! Service was good and the food was delivered quickly. The pizzas were delicious! We would definitely go back. Highly recommend.

Visited this lovely restaurant for our first dinner in Naples. These guys clearly specialise in seafood and had an abundance of different options (including fried calamari and prawns which were delicious!). Our waiter , Salvatore was so attentive and friendly and spoke fantastic English - he took our temperature on arrival and contact details for coronavirus track and trace, so we felt very safe. I treated myself to an excellent margerita pizza and a dessert (not 100% sure what it actually was as it was recommended by the waiter, but it was delicious nonetheless). Would definitely come back here!

My take away has been an excellent experience flavored with great food.
Long time favorite pizza and restaurant. Friendly staff, great quality food, both fish and meat. Great sweets, the best creme caramel after my mom's. Strategically placed closed to the shopping area in vomero, naples. Reservation is a must.
Probably the best pizza my girlfriend and I have ever had, and we’ve had lots of pizza. We were the only ones in the place at the time but the atmosphere was still great and luis the owner was a gentleman. We talked the universal language of football. Luis, we will be back my friend. Whatever you do, go here and you will not be disappointed.
The white wine was also very nice and generously poured.

Last minute pick and oh what a good one! The place is clean and nicely decorated. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food was fantastic. I got a pizza. The wife had grilled chicken and a salad. Prices are reasonable. Air conditioning that truly works! Definitely give this place a try and let them know Goyo GTO highly recommends. Also, please consider giving my review a thumbs up (like).

Was an excellent dining experience. The staff were very friendly and helped with translation of the menu. Great food where the 3 course meal with a bottle of wine only cost €53. Super value.
We found this restaurant via Google using “Senza glutine”. Nice typical Italien restaurant, but please play Italian music to spread the incredible charme of Napoli! Both regular Pizza (Buffalo) and gluten-free Pizza (DOC) were awesome, Salad ahead was tasty and delightful. Only 4 stars because of Service is not what I expect from a typical Italien restaurant - no bread together with salad, waiter did not see my empty glas of beer for 10minutes and they were not that super friendly (maybe because of language barriers)

Been In naples for 4 days, out of all the places I have eaten this was by far the best, that good been 2 times as 1st time was undecided over calzone and a pizza, don't believe me, just try it, staff amazing, genuinely want your custom, food is just as good, the restaurant decor, music it all just works.
The waiters were incredibly rude and unwilling to help the “American tourists”. I was traveling alone with a small child and they could care less. I attempted to use google translator but one of the waiters even yelled at me because I did not order the food in the correct order. I asked for a drink and he said someone else would get my order. I felt very rushed in the beginning. It was our first night in Naples and I stared to cry at the table, at this point a younger waiter had some compassion and attempted to help. As we were leaving the owner came over to the table and gave some tips on places to go in Napoli and she was very kind. I think the food was ok but nothing to write home about. I might go back and give them another try but it wouldn’t be my first choice. I’m sure if you’re a local this would be a great place but they dislike tourists that do not speak Italian. I have found this to also be the case in the rest of Napoli so I don’t want to specifically single them out.

It was our last day in Italy. Not knowing how to speak Italian and the people working didn't know English. The friend that was with me. Pointed at the one guy pointed to the menu and then my friend rub his belly. What is your favorite from the menu? After the second time around. One of the guys working. Smiled ran into the back one other guys followed. They came out with a big pizza. It was one of the best pizza we had all week. Using translate I told them Molto buona.

Pizza fritta davvero ben fatta. Mangiata a pranzo prima di una riunione, non mi ha nemmeno fatto venire l'abbiocco. Leggera!
I came a few minutes before closing and the owner was kind enough to let me order takeaway despite almost closing up.
The pizzaiolo told me to order a normal Margherita-pizza since this is what Naples is famous for. I did as told (it was my first night in Naples), got my hot pizza and went home.
At the time this pizza tasted great but when my trip was over, the three other pizzas I ate were much better! Mascagni's pizzaiolo burned the bottom of the pizza on purpose to give it "character". All I could taste was burnt bread :(
The cheese melted a bit too much and what I had left was a mix of runny tomato sauce and cheese. It still tasted good but all other famous pizzeria's I went to didnt heat the pizza for as long as Mascagni did which meant that the cheese didnt melt too much (which the Mascagni-margherita cheese did). I mean, you can hardly see the cheese on the pizza anymore...
In hindsight, a disappointment.

Very cosy, arguably, probably the best Pizza we have ever had.

Wonderful atmosphere and staff. Not too intense you can't enjoy your dinner but not so bad you feel ignored
Very friendly staff services, good prices and super good food. I've been in Naples twice. My wife and I eat there everyday we vacation here in Naples.. they make us feel at home....
